Restaurant Zhang in Rosenheim

It was a nice, cozy evening with relatives. Unfortunately, at the next table there was a loud large family listening to music on their cell phones and almost impudent at the buffet, who in the end wanted to take all of the food from the buffet that had not been eaten and that had been piled up far too much. But the restaurant can't do anything about it.

We had dinner with the family at the weekend and as a larger group we were able to easily reserve the next room. There was a great and large selection at the buffet, including very exotic types of meat. Everything tasted very tasty and the service was also very friendly and accommodating. It was always restocked and the value for money is unbeatable. We would love to come back.

The food is good, but the hygiene leaves something to be desired. The toilets are totally dirty. You can see that it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. The lime was already black. So if I had left beforehand, I wouldn't have been able to eat anything.

Always worth a visit. The menu is regularly replenished, there is no waiting time, and the food tastes perfect. We'd love to come back. Why only four stars everywhere? Food: not outstanding, but very good. Service: no one comes to the cashier and no one asks if you would like to drink anything else (despite empty glasses). Ambience: Since you are sitting near the buffet and the cooking is open inside, you can't expect anyone to wear your clothes. Ventilation, yes. But all in all, complaining on a high level.

First visit here, and certainly not the last. Inconspicuous from the outside, but very comfortable inside, a bit old. The food was very good, a wide selection and tasty. Service friendly and attentive. Desserts can be improved.

Have eaten here about once a month in the past. The food is O.K. but the service and cleanliness now leave a lot to be desired. The staff doesn't understand German and walks around in sweatpants and some of the cutlery, plates and clamps are really dirty.

0.00000 stars - food stinks of fish, meat wasn't cooked through, employee on the phone was very, very unfriendly. It doesn't come at all either. Would like me to bring the food back even though I threw it away straight away. I would never transport this food in the car again because it smelled so bad. Of course we won't get the money back either. Very very bad. Wouldn't recommend anyone to order or eat there!

I don't understand the rating at all! Rarely have I eaten something so unappetizing, with an extremely unpleasant fishy smell. We ordered two different beef dishes. The “crispy” beef wasn’t crispy at all, just tough and smelly. I'm excited to see how my stomach processes this tonight. It's better to spend €10 more per person and eat somewhere sensible, my tip!

Large selection of food and very tasty

By today's pricing standards, a very good lunch for the price. Even though it is full of strong flavors and you can't eat a lot of those dishes, it's great. I appreciate the mini selection of sushi, uncolored ginger, shrimp and fresh vegetables that have not undergone any treatment. You can eat well from the base that I don't provide. thank you We love to come back. My favorite Asian restaurant! Eat from the buffet or a la carte👍 On the weekend you should make a reservation 😉Visually it is an open-plan restaurant with Asian decoration. We mainly eat from the buffet 1 point deducted for service because there is so much going on at the weekend that the service staff can hardly keep up with refilling the food! But it always tastes great 👍👍👍👍👍. Prices are reasonable. Always happy!🤗😊

I've had buffet restaurants with more selection and where it also tasted better. The sushi was slightly warm because hot dishes were offered opposite... The crispy duck was also rather sparsely refilled. Iced tea comes from Aldi... and is too expensive for that... I wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

The food is typical of a buffet. Of course it can happen that something is no longer totally hot. Enough choice. It is being refilled. Fresh ingredients such as fish, meat and vegetables can be grilled. This is highly recommended. But it takes a little longer. Unfortunately there is very little sushi available. Otherwise everything was clean and tasty.

I won't do that to myself again, the service is bad at best, the atmosphere looks terrible and the food is disgusting! Never again!

I've been going to Zhang's for years and today it's so bad that I asked for the bill after 10 minutes. Everything felt completely empty and after 20-30 minutes nothing or hardly anything was refilled. Had to stay seated because the friend wanted to wait for what was to come. The store wasn't even half full. The live chef had almost raw food brought to the table, nothing excepted or anything else, so many years of regular customers had scared them away in one evening. I think that was the last time. I always drive 30 km, it's not worth it ADDENDUM August 10, 2024 A good friend persuaded me to give the store another chance. We went into the store and the woman recognized me from far away and immediately came to us and said in the worst possible German that I am a bad guest because I gave a bad rating and I am BANNED from the house. It shows myself even more that the store and the service are absolute TRASH and I can advise anyone not to go there

Good buffet with a large selection and you can put together your own food and then have a chef prepare it with sauce according to your taste and the plate is then brought to the table. Good lunch offer! Lovely again !

We went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered duck with fried pork and chicken from the lunch menu starter spring rolls the rolls were really very bad frozen goods. the only good thing about the dish was the vegetables, the duck was dry and the fried meat was almost inedible.

Unfortunately the meat in the dishes was soggy. There were always empty bowls at the buffet. The offer didn't blow me away. Desserts were also so la la. The plates at the tables were rarely picked up.

It's been in Rosenheim for a long time but there's great food, a huge selection and the staff are always very nice. For 19 euros on Sundays and public holidays, eat as much as you want, absolutely ok and a beer costs less than four euros, see you soon

The food in general is ok. The buffet is often too cold and, when things are going well, the food is refilled too irregularly. Showcocking takes an incredibly long time. Salmon is usually well cooked and the vegetables are half raw. All the employees are friendly but the service is not good. Too little presence at the tables. Unfortunately, it takes 10 minutes to reorder something or ask for the invoice.

It's been a long time since I've been to the restaurant. The expensive groceries were immediately sold out and were not refilled. Even after repeatedly approaching the staff, no one was interested. Pasta and salads were always there, although there were high-quality fish, shrimps, frog legs, etc. Nothing was added. When I asked who the boss was, I was told he wasn't there. When I spoke to the waiter about the refills, he said coldly to me then just ask the colleague. I haven't seen such unfriendly service in a restaurant for a long time. If I could I would give negative points!

Ambience is rather mediocre, not very comfortable. Buffet is refilled too slowly, you really have to be patient and quick to get your favorite food. That tends to spoil your mood.

Just bad, no comparison to other restaurants with the same menu. No taste, cold and really a poor lunch buffet. Soup was ok, everything else was bad, except for the prices.

The food is very good and the service is ok, of course you can maybe improve it a bit in the sense of "don't all go in the same direction", "remember where you've been before" and important "where you haven't yet". Buffer tip is always well filled and there is something for everyone.

Hervorragendes Restaurant-Erlebnis im Zhang. Liebes Team vom Zhang, ich möchte meine Begeisterung für das Restaurant Zhang teilen. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, die Speisenauswahl vielfältig und die Zubereitung der Gerichte auf höchstem Niveau. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss für die Sinne. Der Service war aufmerksam und professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

War mit der Arbeit in diesem Restaurant aber zufrieden waren wir nicht. Mann kann zwar für einen gewissen Preis Essen was und soviel man will aber für Leute mit Glutamat Unverträglichkeiten ist es nicht geeignet.

Ich habe in anderen Restaurants mit der gleichen Spezialität gegessen. waren nicht so zufrieden. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen und werde es zur Gewohnheit machen, es zu besuchen. Ich empfehle mit Zuversicht.

Wer auf Großraum/ Kantinen Flair steht, bitte schön. Wir nicht. Essen lauwarm bis kalt. Freundlichkeit gut aber das Perso kommt nicht hinterher. Am Buffet eine lange Schlange und schnell sind die Schalen leer. Jedoch wird sich für Nachschub bemüht. Werden nicht mehr kommen,da zu laut und leider Fühlten wir uns nicht Wohl beim Essen( gestört durch die ewige Unruhe.)

Das Essen ist qualitativ deutlich schlechter geworden. Aber das größte Manko war, dass das Essen nur "warm" war. Auch am Buffet erwarte ich heißes Essen.

Der eingang sieht erstmal nicht so einladend aus aber wir haben uns trotzdem entschieden es zu Probieren. Das essen hat wirklich gut geschmeck und das noch für 10€. Es war etwas lauwarm und die nachspeisen nicht so auswahlreich. Das Personal hat ihr bestes gegeben. Im großen und ganzen kann man für 10€ nicht mekkern.

Exzellentes essen und eine tolle Auswahl am Büfett, jedoch Frühlingsrolle das nächste mal bitte schneller nachliefern. Frittiertes Hühnchen kann ich nur empfehlen! Freu mich schon auf den nächten Besuch.🤟👍

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Essen das erste war ne gelangweilte Bedienung wir haben uns dann vom Buffet entschieden.das Essen war ganz schön geplündert und kalt Teller kalt einfach unmöglich das Fleisch zäh und nicht zum Essen wir hatten Hunger haben aber kaum was runterbekommen.hab dann noch ein Wasser bestellt spritzig hat fast 15 Minuten gebraucht ob wohl fast nix los war das Wasser war abgestandenen und kaum Kohlensäure hatte nix mit spritzig zu tun ich g hab dann reklamiert und wollte ein neues nach 25 Minuten wurde mir ein neues hingeknallt das war zwar nicht spritzig sondern Medium aber ich hab nix mehr gesagt dann wollte ich zahlen hat aber auch wieder ne Ewigkeit gebraucht dann die Frechheit hat die mir mein reklamiertes Wasser dass ich voll zurück gehen lassen hab berechnet ich hab was gesagt die hat dann so getan als verstünde sie kein Deutsch das war mir zu blöd Trinkgeld hat sie keines bekommen auf alle Fälle werden wir nicht mehr dort essen meine Firma wollte dort ihr 25 jähriges Firmenjubiläum und unsere Weihnachtsfeier Feier das waren immerhin 36 Mitarbeiter hab aber mein Chef abgeraten dort zu feiern auch mein silberhochzeit werden wir dort nicht feiern kann nur abraten das ist jetzt das 3 mal in kurzer Zeit ein totaler Reinfall die sehn uns nie mehr wieder

Het eten was all you can eat zonder drinken. De prijs kwaliteit klopte redelijk. In Nederland is dit eten duurder maar kwalitatief ook beter. Er was niet heel veel keus en het weinige personeel kon het bijvullen niet helemaal bijhouden. Erg vriendelijk personeel en er werd goed Engels gesproken. In de gang binnen bij het restaurant werd gerookt. Er stonden ramen open maar toch ruik je het wel duidelijk en zitten mijn kinderen in de rook. Het lijkt mij onderhand tijd voor een rookvrije generatie. Dit kan echt niet meer in deze tijd.

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren mit meiner besten Freundin und deren Kinder zum Chinesen Zhang. Eigentlich jeden Monat. So wie eine Tradition. Vorweg gleich Schrimps, Lachs und Garnelen auf einen Teller zum anbraten und gleich danach, immer eine Suppe die sehr geil schmeckt. Die Auswahl am offenen Buffet ist ausreichend Vielfältig. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Urlaub in Rosenheim und somit auch im Zhang. Ein tolles Restaurant, nettes Personal und leckeres Essen! Was soll ich da noch sagen? Es war lecker, ging schnell und wir waren alle satt am Ende. Ich glaube unser Sohn hat noch nie so viel Reis gegessen😂

Das Restaurant ist authentisch und gemütlich. Gutes Essen zu sehr guten Preisen. An den Wochenenden werden die Speisen Ihrer Wahl frisch vor Ort zubereitet.👍

Wir waren schon öfter hier. Und kommen immer wieder gerne. Die Auwahl ist sehr gut und frisch. Show Cooking kann man anschauen, muss man aber nicht, sondern bekommt sein Teller serviert. Man nimmt sich selbst soviel und was man will... Kommen bald wieder.
