One of the best kebabs in Heilbronn. The bread and vegetables are delicious. Additionally, the meat (beef in my case) is layered. This makes the kebab a bit more expensive, but considerably better than in other kebab shops. There are also discounts for schoolchildren and students.

A culinary difference like night and day: Mezopotamya Grill vs. City Chicken Sometimes you have to have a truly bad experience to appreciate the good. For me, that was my visit to City Chicken. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a shady character—a clear sign that this place isn't suitable for families. The unpleasant atmosphere continued inside the shop: the staff were unfriendly and seemed hostile. Then the food arrived. The chicken was so dry and tasteless that it was almost impossible to eat. An absolute disappointment and a waste of time and money. Luckily, I didn't give up and visited MEZOPOTAMYA GRILL. The difference was shocking, but in the best possible way. The atmosphere was immediately inviting, and the aroma of the spices was simply fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. And the food! The meat was juicy, perfectly grilled, and full of authentic flavors. You can feel the passion and love that goes into every dish. MEZOPOTAMYA GRILL is the exact opposite of City Chicken. Anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in a pleasant environment in Heilbronn shouldn't miss MEZOPOTAMYA GRILL. You can definitely avoid the disappointment of City Chicken.

Highly recommended. Fresh, homemade bread on the side. It was even still warm. I could have eaten all that alone. The portions were very generous and the food truly delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We sat in the back area. It was quiet and beautifully decorated. No grilled food nuisance like in many other Turkish restaurants.

Warren spontaneously went there on a Sunday afternoon. It was very convenient to park in the K3 parking lot and then only walk 50 meters. Since it was the last day before our vacation, not everything was in stock or available. They apologized several times for this, but I think it's completely understandable. The kids had kebabs, my wife a kebab plate, and I had a lamacun plate; everything was delicious. We'd love to go back next time we're in the Heilbronn area.

Solid Yaprak Doner – Friendly Service & Fair Prices I recently visited Mezopotamya Grill in Heilbronn and got a classic doner kebab. The place seemed clean and tidy overall. The friendly gentleman behind the counter deserves special mention – he took the time to answer my questions, which isn't a given these days. When I asked, I was told that the skewer was homemade and only topside of veal was used – which gave me a trustworthy impression. The doner tasted good, but for me personally, it was more of a solid, standard Yaprak doner – nothing extraordinary, but fresh and balanced. The sauce had a light touch of mayonnaise, but was overall unobtrusive. All the ingredients seemed fresh, the bread was well toasted, and the portion was absolutely adequate. Value for money: For €7.50, the food served was definitely fair. I've eaten much worse doner kebabs for considerably more money. Conclusion: If you're looking for a fast, classic kebab with honest service in Heilbronn, this is the place to go. It's not a standout, but it's solid and reliable.

My wife and I each had an Adana Dürüm. The Adana kebab didn't taste good; the meat tasted almost exclusively of kimeyon (black cumin) and extremely strongly of lamb! The lavas was apparently bought ready-made and not even briefly warmed in the oven or toaster. We really don't need to go back!

Very tasty. I can't stand onions or garlic, so I got a little yogurt without any, since the sauces always contain something. TOP service ☺️ thank you for that.

Great place to come during the weekend because it's one of the rare restaurants that are open on Sunday. In addition, it's very close to the campus of the university, therefore, it's always full of young people looking for a quick lunch, the food is reasonably priced and tastes phenomenal, by far the best kebab in HN.

Hello, You can't do it like that. You sit at the table and you constantly smell an unpleasant toilet smell. Unfortunately, the meat yesterday for 46.00 euros was not fresh and, on top of that, poorly prepared. The simple lentil soup was also not well prepared. We only liked the drink and a bit of the dessert Künefe. The platter for 46.00 euros offered little meat, which unfortunately we didn't eat. The products were almost inedible. We made this clear on site (left almost everything behind). Nevertheless, we paid a tip because the service was friendly. I don't like restaurants that serve stale and unpleasant smelling meat. The boss has to be extremely careful and make improvements, especially when it comes to minced and lamb products.

Unique to this place, the person preparing the food doesn’t charge extra, which sets it apart from others. While there are a few negative reviews, it’s clear they’re from competitors attempting to tarnish its reputation due to the high number of similar establishments on this street. Despite that, Grill Mezopotamiya stands out for its quality and customer experience.

The two of us ate there this evening and redeemed the gourmet block 2:1. We were warmly welcomed when we made the reservation and were also welcomed on site. We ordered food number 18 + 19 and were both thrilled. The meat was grilled very well and tender. The plates were carefully prepared and the quantity was absolutely sufficient. The service was friendly, quick and accommodating. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience and will certainly go there again.

I ordered an Adana Dürüm and waited 15 minutes even though there was nothing going on. The Dürüm itself was also bad and the meat was already cold. After I had eaten 3/4 of the Dürüm, I pulled a 15 cm long hair out of the Dürüm which was definitely not mine (I have light hair) and then left the restaurant. If you don't notice something like that, I can't recommend it, it's just disgusting.

We came as 7 people. The price, service and food were truly outstanding, better than perfect. We would like to come back. We were all very satisfied.

The side dishes are also very lovingly prepared and there is something for every taste. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here, and we will definitely come back! It seems very artificial to give 5 stars, but THIS store really deserves it! Real kebab (not a rotisserie) for €6.5, plus the vegetables that look and, above all, taste fresh, and the variety of drinks that are also incredibly cheap. Absolute recommendation in Heilbronn and a little insider tip when it comes to Künefe. Even with real pistachios and ice cream if desired! The store has very nice and comfortable furniture and the service is good and attentive.

The chicken skewer is really the house specialty. Together with the fresh side dishes and a cola from the glass bottle, a real highlight! The waiters were very friendly and attentive – highly recommended!

Mezopotamya is more than just a kebab shop. The food is brought to the table by the friendly staff. The menu also includes grilled lamb dishes and various casseroles. Everything we tried was very tasty. The quality of the kebab meat (layered meat) is worth the price. Our daughter also likes to eat the pizza. The interior is really beautifully decorated! Unfortunately, there is one point deducted for the ambience because the outdoor area borders a parking lot. The city will soon convert this area into a park. Then it could be the tastiest and best located kebab grill in all of Heilbronn. About us: We are a small German family who like to stop and eat there every time we go shopping in Heilbronn. It's almost a tradition ;)
