The food is really not good.. seriously work on your cooking. And still not offering a single vegan dish in 2024 is also weak!!!

Been here very often. The food is great, the portions are large, whether it's pasta, salad, burgers or pizza. Price-performance is completely okay. Lots of seating, including outside in summer. The staff is friendly and competent. The toilets are clean so far, but unfortunately one floor higher. You can park in Dick or in the train station car park opposite.

Unfortunately, Metro isn't that good anymore, the food is very greasy or the quality is really shit. I wouldn't recommend it. In general, strangely enough, you can't pay by card and the waiters are pretty unfriendly.

I had dinner with my girlfriend today and ordered the fitness plate (baked potato with grilled turkey breast). On the one hand, it looked very carelessly prepared and I thought it was quite bold to charge €16.90 for this small portion (a small potato and maybe 120g turkey?!). Well at least the ambience was nice.

Nice and friendly staff. Appropriate ambience. Price performance is okay, of course the portions could be larger 😉but they are sufficient. My pork medallions were wonderfully seared and delicious and went perfectly with the spaetzle with sauce. Tarte flambée was ok too.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel with fries was a huge disappointment. The meat just tasted strange, I can't even put it into words. It also didn't look appetizing. Fries were quite good.

The food was very tasty and the schnitzel was also a very good size. There was nothing wrong with the ambience either. What I thought was great here was that there is also a separate indoor smoking area. The service was also great, the lady was very attentive and regularly inquired about whether everything was going well. Definitely worth a visit.👍

Hello everyone, I wanted to tell you briefly about my experience: I was there and ordered a burger. Unfortunately the patty was a bit dry in some places. At the end, when the waiter asked if everything was OK, I honestly told him that the patty was dry. He then replied in a cheeky tone that my plate was empty. When I wanted to pay, I was suddenly told that the card machine wasn't working and that I had to withdraw money to pay. I found it very annoying that I wasn't informed about this in advance, which is why I didn't give a tip. The waiter then reacted extremely rudely and even became really rude. Overall a bad experience - for me it's: never again!"

Finally a restaurant in Esslingen that serves meat. The staff obviously enjoy working here - it shows. The food came quickly, was hot and was really good. Everything came as ordered. I'll come back here.

I had an appointment to have lunch here with a business colleague. Parking space only found in the parking garage. Had schnitzel with fries. Quantity was perfect. Price 8.90 really great. Service is quick and attentive. Come back here. I liked it a lot

The service was the worst thing you can really experience here. Staff want to collect money before they bring the goods. Increased prices, smelly rooms really not acceptable.

There is good food here with large portions at fair prices! The service is also nice and quick. What unfortunately detracts from my rating is the aversion to card payments. Only possible from 30 euros. This is simply no longer up-to-date and uncomfortable.

Four of us went there to watch football yesterday and the service was first class. Despite the full house, the staff remained friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and was good, it left nothing to be desired. I was particularly impressed by how well organized everything was, even during busy times.

First of all, a thank you to Esra for the wonderful and friendly service and of course to the chefs for the perfect meal! I recommend anyone who is hungry for very good food to stop by Metropoliten! The order was ready after about 10 minutes, simply great. The restaurant looks very inviting from the inside, modern, clean and not too fluffy… Simply pleasant. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries on the side. No joke, these are the best fries I've ever eaten so far. The Cheeseburger should be renamed Deluxe Cheeseburger because it has little in common with a normal burger and the sauce we created in-house is extremely tasty and goes very well with the burger! For dessert I tried an Oreo cake, the small piece was beautifully garnished with a dollop of cream to dip into. The taste was also very tasty, but the little thing is so sweet that I only ate half of it, I think it's a matter of taste. I'm looking forward to next time! Thank you!

There were 32 people on a company outing. The service was really great and we got food very quickly. It was raining so unfortunately we couldn't sit outside.

Unfortunately, card payment works from €20 onwards, otherwise cash is required.

So either you know because you've been there before or asked, or you're left at a loss. What kind of strange, non-transparent customer communication is this?

Good value for money. If you like fast food, this is the right place for you. Food came super quickly and the service was great. We had a mixed salad and very tasty bread. The turkey schnitzel with fries is also great. And the penne arrabiata was finally really spicy and was very good. Pizza Margherita is available in American style and is also delicious. Overall a recommendation!

On Saturday evening I was at the Metropolitan with my son and friends. Everything was fine: clean tables, short waiting times for drinks, a good atmosphere and very hard-working and nice service (Melina). See you soon

Cool restaurant concept but were only there for a drink late in the evening. But there is also pizza, fries and co. The drinks and especially cocktails menu is very extensive. Everyone will find something here. The non-alcoholic ones are priced at around €7 and the alcohol-free ones are around €9, which is okay in terms of price. Unfortunately, my Aperol Sour wasn't that tasty (it just tasted like juice) so I was expecting a little more. The other friends were happy with their drinks. It's right for the price. The location is coolly decorated. The waiter was attentive and friendly.

We were there at lunchtime, were greeted warmly and served quickly. Something was also recommended to us when we ordered. Food and drinks delicious.

Even though there wasn't anything going on, we waited a long time until someone served us, food was there quickly and then drinks? In the kitchen I was in love with fries, very very salty, potatoes too and the schnitzel had so much pepper on it that you only tasted pepper, it's a shame

Metropolitan is always worth a visit. Consistently good for years. Both in terms of the atmosphere, the food and the cleanliness. Always friendly service, food delivered very quickly. Always happy to go there.

Price / offer: Very good. An order has never been brought to the table so quickly in a restaurant, we waited less than 10 minutes and all the food was on the table. Prices are very good!

The food is top in terms of price/performance ratio. You get a lot for your money. The service is also great and friendly Sitting inside and outside is very nice and comfortable Outside the main room, there are some places in the center itself where the atmosphere is less pleasant and of course there is foot traffic. But I also like sitting there because it's hardly noticeable. Smokers have a separate room if they want to smoke while eating. It should be clear to everyone that if you come during peak times on weekends, there may be waiting times Anyone who has something to complain about here will find much more everywhere else. But you can never please everyone. I'm very happy there myself.

We often eat at the Metropolitan. The onion roast is simply recommended, as are the burgers and pizzas. Dessert changes and always delicious. The service is always courteous and nice. The only thing that's a bit of a shame is that if you get a table in the lobby the volume is very high and it's a bit difficult to have a conversation.

Great food in a nice atmosphere

My wife and I visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. The restaurant was quite busy and the general volume was accordingly high. The service was quick, but it seemed very stressed and a bit rushed due to the hustle and bustle. You didn't feel warmly served. We ordered a triple cheeseburger and a mixed salad with Italian dressing. The burger was okay, but I would have expected a little more for the price. You get better quality a few corners away. The salad portion was very decent. The plus point here is the homemade bread. Unfortunately, the dressing was purist. I also think it's a shame that the map has undergone little or no development or change for years. You can't go wrong here, but you really shouldn't expect too much. Personally, I'm no longer drawn to this place.

Great salad and the dessert was also solid (please replace the spray cream with more organ slices:)) Our waiter Domenik was exceptionally great, simply amazing! You don't get such good service everywhere :). Gladly again 😊

I am very disappointed. I was hoping to have a leisurely coffee, but it felt like 13 minutes from ordering to getting my coffee. I could understand if the restaurant was full but there were only 2 tables occupied. But what's really annoying is the fact that I can only pay by card if the purchase value is over €20. Hello, we live in the 21st century! I was told there was a card machine a little further on but with €6 fees! You should get off your high horse and be more responsive to the needs of paying customers. You know, the competition never sleeps. Restricting card payments to amounts over €20 is simply not up to date.

One of my favorite restaurants. The people are in a good mood and are very friendly. The food is great. Update: the second time the food wasn't hot, the salad was soaked in salad dressing. The service is still great, but I think the food has deteriorated. I got a great meal about a week ago. I don't know why it is sometimes like this and sometimes like that.

Pizza is nice. But we order steak today with baked potato, it was absolutely tasteless, french fries were not fresh and tasted as if they were fried twice, hard to chew and way too oily, same with chicken nuggets. Somehow regretted the whole meal.

Except for the hamburger meat, which was interspersed with granular fat globules, it was okay. I'm assuming that really cheap minced meat was used. The chewing feeling was unpleasant and the taste was not right. It's a shame it wasn't like that 2 years ago. But the service was great. Very nice and casual.

Ein kulinarisches Highlight im Metropolitan! Die Küche im Metropolitan hat mich mit ihrem Winter Trifle absolut begeistert! Dieses Dessert ist ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus und hebt sich durch seine einzigartige Kombination winterlicher Aromen hervor. Das freundliche Personal und die stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre trugen zu einem rundum gelungenen Abend bei. Das Metropolitan ist definitiv einen besuch wert.

Wir waren als Gruppe letzten Freitag hier und waren einmal mehr vom sehr leckeren Essen aber auch von der freundlichen Atmosphäre begeistert. Wir wurden von Ezra bedient und sie war einfach nur klasse. Sehr kompetent, wusste genau wer was wollte oder auch bekommen hat und war sehr sympathisch und freundlich. Rundum wars ein ganz toller Abend!!!

Wir waren am 8.12. mit 5 Personen zum Essen im Metropolitan. Das Essen war hervorragend und die nette Bedienung Esra war ein Highlight! Nett, kompetent, einfach ein Vollprofi. Heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit in der Gastronomie. Großes Lob!!!

Ich besuchte das Dick in Esslingen und bestellte den Cheeseburger mit Pommes als Beilage, während ich Dart spielte. Der Burger war durchschnittlich und geschmacklich nichts Besonderes – ein einfacher Begleiter für eine Runde Dart. Leider trübte die fehlende Nutzung der Lüftungsanlage meine Erfahrung. Der Billard- und Dartbereich war stark vom Zigarettenrauch durchzogen, was nicht nur die Atmosphäre beeinträchtigte, sondern auch meine Augen reizte. Aufgrund dieser Unannehmlichkeiten entschieden wir uns, die Location vorzeitig zu verlassen. Es gibt Raum für Verbesserung, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Rauchbelüftung, um eine angenehmere Umgebung für die Gäste zu schaffen. Insgesamt war das kulinarische Erlebnis durchschnittlich, aber die Atmosphäre und der Rauch beeinträchtigten den Gesamteindruck. Hoffentlich werden zukünftige Besuche eine angenehmere Erfahrung bieten.

Ich bin ziemlich oft im Metropolitan, da die Preise/Essen und der Service einfach top sind! Man bekommt immer wieder ohne jegliche Reservierung einen Platz, sei es drinnen oder draußen. Bisher hat mir das Argentinische Rumpsteak am meisten gefallen, vorallem wenn man als Beilage die hausgemachten Käsespätzle bestellt. Falls extra Wünsche anstehen, wird es sehr gerne vom Kellner angenommen 👍🏻 Im großen und ganzen kann ich es aufjedenfall empfehlen, auch für die, die gerne etwas entspanntes in Esslingen machen möchten.

Leckeres Essen. Auch für jeden etwas dabei (Burger, Pizza, Salat, Steak...). Service leider etwas unaufmerksam. Aber war auch sehr voll. Drinnen wie draußen.

Tolles Essen, auf das man nie lange warten muss. Sehe freundlicher Service. Mittlerweile ist sogar Kartenzahlung möglich.

Also der vegetarische Burger hat mich ziemlich enttäuscht, nicht weil er nicht gut gewesen wäre, das war er, aber als Patty war einfach nur eine gebratene Scheibe Aubergine drauf. Veggie Burger hin oder her, heutzutage ist man da anderes gewöhnt. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat das Ambiente ist super wenn man auf sportbars oder Unterhaltungs Kneipen steht. Romantisch bei kerzenlicht ist beim Italiener vielleicht besser.

Ich war schon Stammkunde,das letztes Mal war die total Katastrophe(das Essen und die personal). Hab Suppe bestellt und hat’s nicht geschmeckt und wollte keine Suppe mehr, der Kellner sagte ich storniere die Suppe aber komme Sie nie wieder hier🤦🏻‍♂️

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, kürzlich in diesem Lokal Pizzen, Pasta und Nachspeisen zu genießen und ich war beeindruckt. Das Essen war köstlich und frisch zubereitet. Die Auswahl an Gerichten war vielfältig und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Was dieser Ort jedoch besonders auszeichnete, war die hervorragende Servicequalität von Kellnerin Raphaela. Ihre freundliche Art und ihr talentiertes Kommunikationsgeschick machen das Erlebnis wirklich unvergesslich. Sie war aufmerksam, kann sich bestens mit der Speisekarte auskennen und sorgt dafür, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlen. Raphaela trug dazu bei, dass unser Abend zu einem besonderen Erlebnis wurde. Insgesamt war der Besuch in diesem Lokal äußerst angenehm, dank des leckeren Essens und des ausgezeichneten Service von Raphaela. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank!

Komme immer wieder hierher. Jedesmal wenn ich sehe das Rafaela arbeitet weis ich genau das alles nach plan läuft in meinen augen Mitarbeiterin des Monats. Gläser nie leer sie weis wie man arbeitet i Love it ❤️

Das Essen war enorm lecker Mit den mischen wurde auch nicht gegeizt Die Kellnerin war stets professionell und ist auf unsere Wünsche einfangen. Immer wieder gerne im Metropolitan!!!

Ein echtes Juwel liegt leider etwas versteckt. Faire Preise, sehr umsichtige und freundlicher Service. Direkt daneben die eigene Poolhalle. Ein sehr rundes Konzept. Von mir auf jeden Fall beide Daumen nach oben und eine absolute Empfehlung. 👍👍

Guter Mittagstisch an vielen Tagen

Super nettes Personal, man wird sehr herzlich bedient, es wird auch immer nach einem geschaut ob alles recht ist. Ich bestelle immer den METRO Salat der ist eine 10/10. Hier komm ich immer gerne hin.

So schlecht wie heute war der Service noch nie!

Burger war richtig schlecht und trocken Pommes waren gut Cola und Fanta hat auch komisch geschmeckt

Habe Flammkuchen bestellt, dass was ich bekommen habe, war eine Pizza mit Belag vom Flammkuchen. Wenn ich eine Pizza gewollt hätte, dann hätte ich eine bestellt, also versteht ihr wohl meine Enttäuschung.

Tolle Location, gut Parkmöglichkeiten. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Essen bei angemessenen Preisen. Top
