Not delivered, but charged – absolutely dubious! I ordered through Lieferando, but the order simply wasn't delivered. Instead, it was canceled, but my money wasn't refunded. The restaurant refuses to issue a refund, even though I never received the delivery. Several attempts to contact the restaurant were unsuccessful. Lieferando's support team couldn't help either, as the restaurant simply refused to cooperate. Treating customers like this is absolutely dubious and unacceptable. Anyone who orders here risks losing their money for nothing. Never again!

Very good gyros with Metaxa sauce. Super friendly service and fair prices. I was even allowed to try the sauce with gyros because I'm otherwise very skeptical about it. Great thank you

I ordered gyros there which had unappetizing defects. I called them and complained and within 10 minutes the new gyro was delivered to me, this time absolutely perfect. I've been eating there for 7 years and have never had any complaints. Now my first and it was handled perfectly. Absolutely great place and super friendly staff. 5/5

I wanted to order food here and had a question about meat because I rarely buy meat and don't support factory farming. When I asked, they hung up. We had already ordered here with friends and it was very tasty, so I would have liked to order it again if it had been compatible with my values. However, after dealing with customers like this, I can't recommend anyone to eat or order here. Anyone who treats people like this who only ask one question... I don't want to support that and I want to warn others about it. Here you will immediately be shouted at!

Today we ordered five dishes via the homepage. Delivery time was 90 minutes. Unfortunately only visible after the payment process. Definitely too long. One dish was missing and was delivered after 25 minutes after a phone call. The food from the first delivery arrived just lukewarm. The transport must have been rough because some things had leaked. The food that was delivered was hot, but tasted like it had been warmed up. Overall, the food was not well seasoned, the gyros were crumbly, gristly and fatty, and the meat (cevapcici, souvlaki, steak) was dry. The gyro seemed like it had been lightly fried in the pan and had not been cut down. Nobody ate it. The coleslaw seems to have come from a package :-) The taste was at best ok, unfortunately not what we are used to and can definitely get better elsewhere. Unfortunately we can no longer recommend it, we are really disappointed. We currently didn't know anything about the change in ownership and now suspect that the quality has decreased as a result. It's extremely strange that someone who has supposedly been a regular customer there for 40 years doesn't notice this. Before Metaxa it was Costa (almost 30 years ago). It's never been as bad as it is now!

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend Metaxa, I have been a regular customer for years, the food is still delicious, but customer friendliness and service are really subpar. I have placed an order for delivery 3 times now and each time my order arrived incorrectly. I already warned the woman on the phone that she should be correct this time. She says if anything happens, call and you'll get a credit. Nothing of the same, my third order was wrong, I called and then they said I had ordered it that way. I never say no, I always order the same thing and explicitly mention what I want. Then they said I was lying and that the call was on speaker and several witnesses had heard it. It's an absolute shame to treat customers like that and lie so boldly. The Greeks probably don't know the saying, customer is king. I'll never order here again.

We ordered food over the phone. The person on the phone seems very helpless. The food was delivered just a few minutes over the stated time, so everything was still within limits. But the food was not recommended. The fries were cold, soggy and very floury, of course they were delivered, but other shops can do it too. The gyro was mediocre, sometimes tough and with lumps of fat. The remaining meat also tasted like the day before, just warmed up beforehand. We used to be guests at the Greek chip shop opposite, but we had to switch to Metaxa once... Meeggga is surprisingly very tasty, the appetizer platter is always a must, the ouzo platter is also TOP! You have nothing to complain about! Keep it up, please don't let up like the opposite! Stay the same!!!

Vor weg, bestellt über Lieferando, essen kam 45 Minuten früher wie angegeben was uns aber gefreut hat .Lieferservice war auch nett und das Essen war sehr lecker wie immer aber: ich hatte den Grillteller und da hat ein Cevapcici und das Steak gefehlt,ich war zwar auch so satt aber wenn nicht das ankommt was bestellt wurde was man bezahlt hat kommt sich schon bissl verarscht vor.

We've been there a few times and were very satisfied, only today we were very disappointed, the salad was great, only the main course that followed had a lot of roasted aromas (burnt) and was dry. You can also work on the presentation of the dishes; the food was simply slapped onto the plate. It's a shame we won't be coming back anytime soon.

The salad with chicken costs over €12, which is very steep for so little salad. There was nothing special in terms of taste either. Delivery time was acceptable and the delivery person was friendly. Gyros 1/3 meat 2/3 fat never again!

That was the worst gyro we've ever eaten. So really terrible. First waited 2 hours. The meat was so wobbly and black I had to throw the whole meat away. Fries also a complete disaster. I wonder how you can go so wrong with fries. Once and never again. It's a shame I didn't read the reviews beforehand.

After 1.5 hours of asking by phone where the order was, I was told that it would be better to order by phone so that I could get the actual delivery time. Ordered for delivery, took almost two hours for three dishes, but food arrived warm. Taxi plate was okay, but could be much better. Fries were good, sauces were good, but gyro meat was really poor. Currywurst could have been microwaved. Unfortunately, it was prepared rather carelessly. At €9.50 it's relatively cheap for a taxi plate, but it's not particularly tasty either. It's enough for a feeding kick.

I had gyros baked in hollandaise with cheese, which was oversalted and the meat was made of flab and pure fat. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. We threw everything away.

It's a shame, the portions were good but the gyros were totally over salted, not edible, the lamb cutlets were almost entirely fatty, we were there after a long time... FOR us it was the last time!!! Essen war gut. Leider, als am Abend langsam weniger Leute im Lokal waren, ist es unangenehm kühl geworden als wollte man uns los haben. Deshalb drei Sterne.

Ich war heute mit meiner Freundin dort essen, wir haben beide dort gegessen, sie einen Teller mit bifteki und ich einen Teller mit bifteki,Gyros, etc. Bei uns beiden war das Fleisch und die Pommes total versalzen und angekohlt schwarz, darauf hin haben wir das angesprochen und als wir gingen sollte er uns das das Fleisch mit Pommes und Zaziki einpacken. Als wir nachhause gingen und uns den Teller ansahen war dort nur noch das trockene Fleisch ohne die Pommes und Zaziki drauf. Und unsere Teller waren noch bis oben voll mit Pommes. Unglaublich, und dafür habe ich 15 Euro bezahlt. Das Essen war wirklich nicht genießbar weil es so salzig und schwarz war. Das war das letzte Mal das ich und meine Freundin da hin gehen, und meine Familie wird ab jetzt auch gegenüber zu dem Griechen gehen. Einfach unglaublich.

The the menu is only in German but this is easily resolved with help from Google Lens translator. The restaurant is cash only but there is a cash machine nearby. The restaurant does not have a baby change.

1.15 Std Lieferzeit angegeben und auf telefonische Frage wo denn das Essen bleibt, bekam ich ein „das dauert locker noch ne halbe Stunde, sie wissen was für ein Tag ist ? und die Angaben bei Lieferando würden nicht stimmen, dass ist nur ein Computer der seine eigenen Zeiten macht. 2 Std für eine Bestellung ist schon frech ! Noch mal werde ich dort sicherlich nicht bestellen.

Tolles Ambiente, super Essen und tolles Personal. Wir waren schon oft hier und kommen immer wieder, weil wir noch nie enttäuscht wurden.

Sehr gutes Restaurant und Grill für griechische Spezialitäten. Super Zubereitung, saftiges Fleisch, und leckerer Salat, sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung und Köche. Immer sehr gut besucht. Sauber und Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schöner ruhiger Aussenbereich im Park.

Das vermutlich beste gyros in körne. Der taxiteller ist üppig und kommt günstig daher. Der Service ist zuvorkommend und man erhält sein Essen auch zum mitnehmen in der stosszeit recht schnell. Meine 1. Wahl für griechisches Essen.

Also … eigentlich bestelle ich sehr gerne essen bei Metaxa, da das Essen qualitativ und geschmacklich super ist. Aber.. ich glaube, ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben über 3 Stunden auf einen Lieferdienst gewartet, in denen mir 3x versprochen wurde, dass das Essen in den nächsten 5 Minuten raus geht. Storno geht wohl nicht und als Entschuldigung gibt es eine gratis Cola, die aber nicht mitgeliefert wurde. Vielen Dank dafür. Ich habe um 18:18 Uhr bestellt und um 22 Uhr möchte ich jetzt auch nicht mehr essen …

Echte Griche!!! Sie werden begeistert. Drin ist sehr komfortabel gemütliche Atmosphäre. Parkplatz ganz nah.Koch TOP1 sehr leckere grilplate und Salaten mit pommes einfach bombe 💣. Empfehle jedem.

Wir bestellen hier öfter mal zum Mitnehmen. Das Gyros und die Biftekis sind lecker aber waren nicht immer ganz richtig durchgegrillt. Da sollte das Restaurant unbedingt besser aufpassen. Ansonsten sind die Gerichte preislich und qualitativ für einen Griechen absolut in Ordnung. Auch kann man hier im Sommer draussen sitzen was nicht jeder hat.

Würde gerne 0 Sterne geben…haben um 18:30 Uhr bestellt - es ist 21:40 Uhr und das Essen ist immer noch nicht da. Haben zwei mal angerufen um zu fragen ob das Essen noch kommt. Die Dame beim ersten Telefonat war unglaublich unfreundlich. Mal schauen ob das Essen noch kommt, danach werden wir hier nie wieder bestellen oder essen gehen 👎👎👎👎👎

Hier bekommt man einen super Grill-Teller oder Gyros-Teller, bei dem das Essen frisch und lecker schmeckt. Ob man satt wird oder nicht, hängt vom einzelnen Mitarbeiter ab. Im Allgemeinen sind die Mitarbeiter freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, wodurch der Laden gut besucht wird. Es gibt auch draußen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Musik, die gespielt wird, ist griechisch und versetzt einen regelrecht für einen Moment nach Griechenland.
