Well, unfortunately more than disappointed!!! My husband and I wanted to order something delicious to eat today (Saturday evening). Food came quicker than Lieferando stated, the only plus point. When we unpacked the food, we immediately noticed that various things we had ordered were not there, and we also noticed that the fries and meat were almost cold (we live about 5 minutes away by car) When I called the restaurant to complain about it, I was told the delivery would be made with the next supplier. After a few minutes I was called back and asked if there wasn't a bag, the driver said she had left the bag with us, I checked again in the hallway but there wasn't one. After another 35 minutes our bell rang and the driver in question brought me a bag and said with a grin, sorry, I must have given it to another customer. So we got another cold meal (salad, mayo and tzatziki) with our cold meal 👍 Thanks for nothing, and for over €50

We ordered there via Lieferando. Never again will the fries be cold and the meat not edible. We made a special note and it was ignored. And the driver was also extremely motivated to work. For us it was the last time there. Too bad.

We are regular customers! Last Sunday we ordered online! I have to say it was terrible!!!! The hot food was as cold as the coleslaw!!!!!!!!! Which didn't taste as good as usual!!! WE'RE USED TO MUCH BETTER FROM YOU!!!!!!

I just ordered from El Greco again after a long time. Actually, most recently I always ordered from the neighboring Greek restaurant El Greco. The gyros there recently really disappointed me. That's why I wanted to give El Greco another chance today and we will order there again in the future. The food came super quickly (ordered early in the evening), was hot, super tasty and the delivery person was also super friendly and helpful. So absolutely recommended! Star rating for the restaurant is not given due to delivery, therefore 0 out of 5 stars. Could not be rated.

Ordered platter for 10 people for a birthday. The food was fresh, well prepared and plentiful, highly recommended.

We ordered by phone for three people in the evening. After asking about delivery time, we were told it would be an hour. However, food was already there after 25 minutes. One person's order was missing from the delivery. What was delivered was already cold. The fries looked like they had been thrown into the deep fryer a second time. Pork fillet was divided into several pieces. Everything was very careless, just slapped on. Called there immediately and complained. However, this was very professional and customer-oriented. Food was picked up and we got the money back.

We were there a total of 3 times over the course of 9 months. Each time in the evening (arrival at 8.30 p.m.), as we are self-employed. Out of 3 orders it was not possible to get gyros in two. Be that as it may, you just order something else. On 2 of these 3 visits we were indirectly asked to leave. Today I wanted to order another beer 🍺, 9:40 p.m. I was told it was already closed and the tables still needed to be cleared away. There were people sitting at the next table having a drink. My colleague still had a full glass and I had an empty one. So my employee drank and we paid around 9:45 p.m. Just doesn't make a good impression. Well given 3x a chance and 3x..... Good luck scaring away guests in the evenings.

Ordered there today via Lieferando and I have to say, really delicious meat! Rarely have such delicious food delivered! And still hot! Well done - keep it up 👍 Only the fries could be a little more cooked through and a little more salted 😉

I ordered a Gyros Pita to pick up. For 8€ you don't get much of it these days. If you say something, it will be followed up but you have to pay. I'm not going there anymore. It's a shame, the place has really gone downhill...

It was delicious, even if the rice was cold, but not only did everything become more expensive, but unfortunately the portions were extremely small, which is not possible, so I have to revise my 5 stars.

My father and I wanted to order BOTH gyros with fries AND rice today. The waitress said only rice OR fries was possible. Otherwise she would have to charge DOUBLE for the rice. However, we wanted to order the same thing twice!!! So I could have had half a portion of rice and half a portion of fries. And my father too. So without charging DOUBLE. But the waitress only wanted to do this on ONE shared plate! What nonsense! Service: 0 stars! We then left and were served friendly and nice at PLATIA in Aplerbeck instead! There it was no problem to get half fries and half rice. Free of charge!

We haven't been there for a while. But everything is as we remembered it. The food is simply terrific. The meat is tender, the tzatziki is simply fabulous and the fries are on point. The only disadvantage: When you slowly get older, you can no longer fit in the portions😂. But that will take us to the next one Don't prevent visitors.

We ordered a 10 kg gyros skewer from you for a party with 24 people. You left us hanging!!!! WITHOUT cancellations!!!!! What's that supposed to mean? No matter what caused you to not deliver. A phone call would have been the least. There were 24 hungry mouths sitting here who will definitely never order from you! That was the very last!!!

A Greek who has maintained his level for decades. I've actually eaten gyros at many Greek restaurants in some cities. But it was never as good as here. The price-performance ratio is appropriate.

Unfortunately it's a lot worse, it used to be much better. The meat was red and the portion was more of a children's plate. A lot of staff still waited a long time. First we went to the P booth

I just want to say that the store has become so expensive now. We have been ordering there for over 25 years, but yesterday was the last time. A taxi plate with tzatziki and onions (10.10) and a small gyro with tzatziki and onions (6.90). Now I thought that would cost extra but a Zwanni would easily be enough, with a tip too. He says €22. So tzatziki and onions 1.50 extra per portion and 2€ delivery costs. That's on top of the already expensive dishes. But it is delicious.

Food from the pack. Served carelessly. The plate was so full of hollandaise that you could feel hungry just by looking at it. The price bears no relation to such food and ambience. I don't have to repeat it. There is no star.

You're looking forward to the food you've ordered and that it'll happen so quickly, but then you're completely disappointed: the food isn't even lukewarm anymore. The real salad is not included and the extra tzatziki is not included either. You get in touch and then you just get yelled at: should I bring this to you now? There are some parking spaces in front of the restaurant, the guest room is functionally furnished. Numerous glass rings decorate the table top. It used to be very good. Unfortunately, the portions are continually becoming smaller and now also more expensive. Often something is missing from an order or you get something different. Unfortunately, you can't see it very clearly with the change. That was it for us.

Unfortunately prices have increased since Corona, but that's the case everywhere. The food was, as always, very, very good! Large portions that leave everyone well satisfied. All employees nice and friendly.

Are you guys still okay? The gas prices are back to normal and you keep increasing the prices. Almost €40 for two dishes from the snack bar is no longer possible. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years. Now unfortunately I have to say goodbye. A pity!

Good value for money, sufficient portions.

I have a gluten intolerance and, because otherwise (components/quantity) that's what I want to eat, I always order an open pita and then put the bread away. So that it doesn't have to be thrown away, I ordered just the contents without bread, but only then received a bill for over 10 euros (Pita costs 6.50). I find it outrageous to charge me just the contents (which is actually worth less than 6.50 without bread) for over 10 euros.

What used to be the top address in Aplerbeck is now absolutely no longer recommended. Food only arrives lukewarm. We haven't had anything hot for a long time. Maybe you have to eat there to get hot food and always check the bill, especially when delivering. I have the feeling that people would like to add two euros to it. It's actually a shame that the store has a lot of potential

We ordered three taxi plates and the meat on each of them was completely burnt. The fries were undercooked and had very little salt.

I have known El Greco since 1988. At that time I was doing my apprenticeship at Ford Eberhardt around the corner. Some of my teaching money went to El Greco. Then as now, it was incredibly delicious. The only downer is that there is no shish kebab anymore, as it was extremely good and popular back then. But everything I've tried there so far is very tasty. Whether filled bifteki or gyros or schnitzel. A must is always the tzatziki because it is bomb.

It's hard to imagine Dortmund-Aplerbeck without it. Family business with all our hearts. Very tasty Greek cuisine or just a good tasty fries.

Ordered food there, what a disgrace. My schnitzel tasted like it had been thawed from last year, and there was almost no sauce at all. I regret spending money on something like that again.

Für mich der beste Grieche in Aplerbeck/Schüren. Nicht viel CHICHI dafür lecker, einfach gestrickt. Beim KFZ Nachbar kann man sogar parken wenn der zu hat.

Am ende war die Rechnung höher als auf der Karte angegeben.

Preislich fair und geschmeckt hat es obendrein.

Das Essen war bei El Greco früher immer richtig klasse auch von den Portionen alles passend. Leider können wir die hier geteilten Erfahrungen nur bestätigen. Bei nachvollziehbaren Preiserhöhungen gleichzeitig immer kleinere Portionen, lieblos zusammengeworfen. Die Mayonaise zu den Pommes reicht leider nicht für die bestellte Portion, das ist uns schon öfter aufgefallen, freundlich angesprochen und wurden ausgelacht. Dafür nimmt man aber einen stolzen Preis für die Sauce. Das Essen schmeckte uns sonst gut, war halt nur wenig und könnte mit etwas mehr Gefühl angerichtet bzw. zusammengestellt sicher besser sein.

Leider war es nicht gut die Soße auf dem Schnitzel war klar es war das Geld nicht Wert und zu trinken geb es auch nichts mehr 😪😪

In Aplerbeck das beste Gyros, schon seit 30 Jahren oder länger

Leider wird es immer teuerer und die Portionen kleiner .. haben früher oft bestellt und auch gerne da gegessen . Aber mittlerweile halten wir von Abstand weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und die Qualität nicht mehr stimmt .

Das erste mal dagesessen und wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Preislich finde ich liegen sie sehr güstig wodurch ich viele Bewertungen nicht verstehe: Taxi Teller 8,9€

Einfach nurnoch eine Frechheit! Preise nach oben, Portionen immer kleiner und am schlimmsten: Die Qualität hat extrem nachgelassen! 8,50 € für einen Kinderteller auf dem eine Ladung Reis liegt und daneben ein armseliges Stück Fleisch...ich WAR ein langjähriger Kunde!

Was soll ich sagen, ich kenn den Laden seit dem ich laufen kann. Nur 5 Sterne von mir, sorry.

Leider für das Geld nicht zu empfehlen. Pommes kalt und laberig, sowie auch kaltes Gyrosfleisch und sehr wenig Zwiebeln.

Wir waren immer sehr zufrieden. Das die Preise erhöht wurden, ist verständlich. Nicht verständlich ist, dass das gelieferte Essen nicht dem entspricht wie es mal war. Pommes salzig, nicht knusprig, Sauce Currywurst viel zu wenig, Zwiebeln vergessen, … Die letzten beiden Lieferungen waren nicht das, was wir von El Greco über viele Jahre gewohnt waren. Schade!

Naja, das Essen hatte die üblichen Preise. Die Metaxasauce ist eine Schande.(vermutlich Fertig-Bernaise mit Brühwürfel und Paprikapulver). Bifteki, Schnitzel und Frikadelle waren nicht frisch zubereitet, sondern aufgewärmt aus der Kühlung bzw. Tiefkühlkost. Nie wieder. Es war einfach nur enttäuschend.

Essen wurde nach über einer Stunde geliefert, nachdem der fahrer nochmal angerufen hat und noch mal nach der Adresse gefragt hat,natürlich kalt!!!! Nach Anruf in diesen Premium Imbiss wurde mir eine Gutschrift von 5 Euro angeboten. Für mich das letzte mal eine absolute Frechheit! Bald ist zum Glück die Konkurrenz um die Ecke aus den Sommerferien zurück.

El Greco in Aplerbeck ist meine Nummer 1 in Dortmund! Man kann vor Ort Essen, mitnehmen oder nach Hause bestellen. Ich habe schon öfters mal nach Hause bestellt und die Qualität variieren. Mal etwas wenig, Mal etwas kalt. Aber vor Ort schmeckt es immer noch am besten und die Menge waren bis jetzt vor Ort immer genau richtig. Gyros, Pommes Zaziki und Zwiebeln liegt man preislich genau richtig. Fetakäse ist etwas preislich etwas zu hoch aber lecker. Das Servicepersonal sind aufmerksam und sehr nett 👍

Das Essen ist ein ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne her. Der Service ist stets herzlich und freundlich.

Essen wirklich immer sehr lecker. Ich hatte noch nie schlechteres Essen dabei. Getränke kommen immer schnell und auf das Essen muss man nicht lange warten. Beim letzten Mal kamen beide Hauptgerichte mit einer Verzögerung von 8 Minuten - das fand ich ein bisschen schade. Ansonsten alles super. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr,sehr lecker egal ob vor Ort oder zum Mitnehmen für Zuhause. Gehört zu unseren zwei Favoriten was die Griechische Küche angeht.

Essen wurde kalt geliefert. Geschmacklich nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Essen ist relativ gut, aber die Portionen werden immer kleiner und die in der Karte zugesagten Leistungen aus dem Angebot des Gyros Grill Verleihs werden nicht im Mindesten eingehalten. Wir haben ein Gerät mit 7kg Fleisch gemietet. Mitgeliefert wurden gerade einmal 0,8 kg Krautsalat und 1,1kg Tzatziki. Nach telefonischer Beschwerde wurden dann 1,3 kg Krautsalat und 1,35 kg Tzatziki im Austausch geliefert. Bei der Reklamation wurde uns dann von der Chefin Nähe gelegt, wenn wir unzufrieden seien, gerne woanders hin zu gehen. Dieser Empfehlung werden wir uns nicht verschließen. El-Greco wird uns nicht mehr als Kunden wieder sehen.

Essen ist wirklich immer toll, einzig und allein dass das Restaurant weiterhin auf Barzahlung setzt ist nicht zeitgemäß. Trotzdem schöner Familienbetrieb :-)
