MERO BUDDHA Nepali Kitchen in Münster

During our city trip to Münster we ended up in this nice restaurant. We ordered a Nepali Thalia. It was delicious, staff came a few times to ask if it was tasty. It certainly was. Worth repeating and definitely recommended for a delicious meal.

We had a wonderful evening for two, the food was great, the service was friendly. Gladly again:)

Friendly staff, super tasty food and reasonable prices. When I'm in Münster again, I know where I'll stop by.

I've been here several times - I recommend making a reservation for more than four people, even on weekdays from 7 p.m. It's always busy, and rightly so. Service is always friendly, even when the place is full. The food really can't be beaten in terms of value for money. Delicious, with lots of variety on the clearly laid out menu - and the Nepalese beer in 650ml bottles goes incredibly well with spicy food. The only minor drawback: the food with two chili symbols wasn't noticeably less spicy than the one with four symbols. But that's subjective, of course. Overall, highly recommended.

I haven't had such good value for money in a long time. It was incredibly delicious, and for €10 per meal with a large portion and mango lassi, you can't help but be happy. Definitely recommended.

I can highly recommend the restaurant on Verspoel, in contrast to the uninviting branch on Wolbecker Straße. The rather simple, but well-prepared, aromatic dishes are known from "Indians", but I don't really understand what is supposed to be "Nepali" about them, with the exception of the tasty momos. Plated dishes are served, the selection is not extensive, but absolutely sufficient. Above all, however, the food is really tasty, the portions are well sized and the service is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Stylish, popular restaurant with fast and good service and really good food! I would have preferred less rice and more more strongly spiced curry, but other than that I can't complain :)

There's really nothing wrong with it! The food is excellent and the service is more than friendly. But I think it's important to reserve a table in advance.

Finally an excellent coconut curry again. I had the Nariwal Curry with Paneer. In addition to the sauce, the rice was laced with a little butter. Delicious. The service was also quick. I have to thank you.

Yes..good price-performance ratio

We had a lovely evening at MERO BUDDHA. We came by spontaneously on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table straight away even though it was very full. The waitresses were super friendly. The food was served in a reasonable time and was very tasty. It tasted fresh and was very generously portioned. Price/performance was right in the end.

Very tasty food with just the right level of spiciness (level 3). The window seats are very chic. It wasn't our first time there and certainly not our last!

Great chicken korma, delicious naan and papadam (plus dips). The momos and the mango lassi are also highly recommended. Friendly service. Always happy to come here when I'm in Münster.

Update 2025: Everything is the same, so great! As always, the food was delicious, the price-performance ratio was excellent and the staff were very friendly - no matter how busy! Ambiance 5* considering that it is a small and decent restaurant, but more like a fast food restaurant. Nicely decorated, but not a restaurant for evening wear.

Very nice and authentic small restaurant with fair prices and a good selection for people who like spicy food and those who don't. There were also vegetarian options, but unfortunately I can't say anything about vegan ones. I had the mango curry myself and have to say that I really liked the chicken in it

A great restaurant in Münster. The service is so great, they are always in a good mood and always give you a very warm welcome. If you're looking for really spicy food, you've come to the right place, you can choose the level of spiciness. Portion is also nice and big.

Mango Lassi and rice plates are great and spicy! The location is only 5-7 min from the main station. I would like to come back. Please translate the menu to English!

It’s a very good Nepali restaurant. If you are looking for an authentic Nepali restaurant with good tasting food then you should definitely visit. The jhol momo and samosa were particularly very tasty and the thali was fulfilling.

Visiting Münster for the first time and I think picked the right restaurant to dine in. The food was quite delicious with right amount of spice and flavor, not too spicy and not bland or anything, the service was quite fast and the staff there is super nice and friendly. Overall bang for your buck and this is coming from an Indian guy who has experience with the cuisine, so you can take my word for it :)

Mero Buddha Nepali Kitchen is a great find in Muenster, just outside of the town center. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, not too formal, the friendliness of the staff outstanding. There is an open kitchen, so you can see how the food is prepared. Everything we ordered was very tasty, there are many choices - from curries over thali to momos...price quality ratio is excellent.

It was a super nice service. The dishes were outstanding and reminded us of our Nepal vacation. The starter with the various dips was simply good. The main course was delicious, spicy and good. We'll definitely be back. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

We came here to try out Nepalese dishes. The atmosphere is beautifully designed and you feel very comfortable in the store. Lots of nice details about Nepal. The employees are very nice and accommodating, but not intrusive. We were well looked after. The food also came relatively quickly. The food tasted good and reminded us a lot of Indian. The food was similar. Only here it was sharper. The drinks were also good, especially the yogurt-mango mix. We recommend. The price was absolutely okay, not exactly cheap but not exorbitant either.

We were guests here today, there were authentic Nepalese specialties, the appetizer platter and the different Momo variants are clearly recommended. Caution: Spicy 🥵 🌶️ 😂👍🏼 Unfortunately we couldn't fit any more in our stomachs 😅 Thanks for the good hospitality, we'll be back!

Lunch is always freshly prepared from Monday to Friday! I really like eating vegetarian curry. And don’t forget mango lassi!

Given the many good reviews, I definitely had to try this restaurant. And I can only agree with the previous speakers: the food is really that good. The portion size is generous, the meat selected, the rice cooked to perfection, the sauce complex and more than enough. The restaurant is clean, clear and bright. The staff is attentive and definitely goes above and beyond. The prices are mid-range and absolutely adequate for the food served. And there is real Indian beer, which for me alone is a knockout criterion for coming back.

Great, local cuisine. The ambience is simple, but the price is very good. It's best to make a reservation or bring your own waiting time.

I love trying “new” food. During my visits to Münster I have noticed this Nepalese restaurant several times. It had never worked before but today it happened. Thanks to a lot of luck, I got a table for the evening. The employees are all exclusively friendly and competent. That was fun. Questions about allergens could be answered quickly. They know what's in your food! Top! The quality of the food was really remarkably good. It's worth trying a lot of different things. Sample plates would be nice for “several” people, even if there is something like that. You just want to devour everything. So delicious!!! This restaurant is a real highlight! A sweet little bustling place, tucked in the neighborhoods of the Altstadt, Mero Buddha offers a wide variety of Nepalese cuisine. All the staff are incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. I had a great time here, and had their chicken Mango curry with rice. A special shout out to their masala chai, which was perfectly spiced and the best accompaniment to a cold night.

My absolute favorite restaurant for butter chicken! It's incredibly delicious and an absolute must for anyone who hasn't been here. I can highly recommend it. The service staff is always friendly and makes the visit a pleasure. Overall just a great store.
