I'm still happy when I come over there and can eat. Simply delicious!

We were guests for two days. 5 male friends tasted different flavors for two days. All created menus consist of rice, salad types and a main dish for a total of 12.5 Euros The business is actually very honest and caring. Thanks

Be careful when ordering via delivery services. You get about half a portion of what you get when you order on site. As a result, you are half full and double poor. Since when are delivery services allowed to rely entirely on plastic packaging??? No go!!!

Lovely family-run place. The owning lady helped me pick a healthy dish when I had a cold and toothache (and couldn’t chew stiff meat or hard ingredients), and the dish was from heaven! High quality meat stew with a mom-feeling to it, I felt better right after the meal 🥘😃 And the place is large and cozy with a traditional look and feel - ideal for groups of friends to dine in.

Overall, I really like this restaurant. One of the best and most authentic Turkish restaurants with home cooking in Berlin. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of taste, especially for desserts and the tea :)

The menu offers a wonderful selection of typical Turkish dishes, from hearty starters to delicious main courses, all freshly prepared with love. Every meal I tried was full of flavor and immediately reminded me of turkey - just as it should be. But what really makes the experience at Mercan special is the warm and incredibly nice owner. She welcomes every guest with a smile, takes time for personal conversations and makes you feel like you are with friends. This hospitality is simply indescribable and gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere. For anyone who is looking for authentic Turkish cuisine in Berlin and also wants to experience real hospitality, Mercan is the perfect place. I will definitely come back.

A great little local Turkish place. No menu just eight dishes of that day which you can choose from, both meat and vegetarian options. Dishes are served with a selection of rice and salad. Brilliantly simple and effective. I had kofta in eggplant and it was delicious. All the comments about home style cooking are right.

Delicious Turkish home cooking, just like grandma's! In summer there is a beautiful outdoor dining garden with beautiful plants, isolated from the street. The service is always so warm. A little gem in Berlin!

Turkish homemade food. Lamb stew with potatoes. Roasted eggplants stuffed with delicious minced meat. And more stews. And to accompany various salads, rice... And also homemade desserts. Correct attention. Very clean. Good value for money. And at the end of the meal they give you Turkish tea. They don't have alcoholic drinks. Every time we go to Berlin we eat there, after taking a walk through the Turkish market that is held on Tuesdays and Fridays.

I would like to say that I had another meal with my wife and paid 35 euros for the whole thing, although it was really disgusting. I personally come from the catering industry and most of the things had to be changed and I didn't want to I gave it one star but since I can't make a reservation I guessed one again

Feels like mom's cooking even if you're not from Turkey (ok, Balkans is close enough though). This is where we come for hearty homemade meals when we've had enough of all the exotic foods Berlin has to offer. Been 3 times so far, always sits well with stomach, though this is not light food. I have no idea what they do to aubergines to make them so tasty but I am obsessed.

Uriges Restaurant mit Tradition. Statt Schickimicki gibt es hier solide türkische Hausmannskost mit leckeren Beilagen. Diese wechseln täglich, sodass kein Besuch dem anderen gleicht. Das Restaurant ist sauber, die Einrichtung eher 90er aber das verleiht den besonderen Flair. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung ist top, immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Ein Familien geführter Betrieb. Ich Liebe die Hausmanskost. Wie bei der Mami. Ich bin ein großer Fan und habe fast alles schon probiert und kann Mercan reines Herzens weiterempfehlen. Super freundlich, gute Portionen und sehr sauber. Auch der Verzehr auf der Terasse ist an warmen Tagen sehr schön. Von klein bis alt für alle was dabei. ❤️

Die Einrichtung wurde vermutlich seit 40 Jahren nicht grundlegend verändert, hat auch seinen Charme. Hier geht man aber nicht wg der Möbel sondern wg des außerordentlich schmackhaften Essens hin. Im Stil der türkischen Business Lokale gibt es hier warme Speisen am Buffet die man sich mit Salat, Cacık und Reis/Bulgur kombinieren kann.

sehr gute türkische küche. mittags mehrere gerichte bereits vorbereitet. man wählt ein hauptgericht plus reis oder bulgur. das essen wird sehr schnell von der freundlichen bedienung an den tisch gebracht. man fühlt sich wie verreist in der türkei. sehr empfehlenswert

Also eine Person zahlt dort für ein Menü mit Getränk und etwas süßes 17 Euro. Die Gerichte sind Standart, also Hausgemachte türkische Küche, die meistens aus Gemüse mit Fleisch besteht. Und für eine Person 17 Euro zu verlangen, ist schon dreist. Leider ist dieser Laden auch zu einer Touristenfalle geworden. Die Portionen sind auch sehr klein. Bin leider hungrig wieder raus und habe mir eine Straße weiter einen Döner gekauft und wurde dann erst satt. Einfach nur unverschämt und teuer.

Super Essen. Kleine Auswahl von 6 Menüs. Jeden Tag frisch. Alles selbstgemacht. Auch das Ayran. Top Empfehlung.

Ich war mit meinem Hund hier zum Mittagessen. Im Restaurant sind Hunde nicht erwünscht, aber es gibt direkt am Eingang ein Aussenbereich. Im Eingangsbereich kann man sehen, was an dem Tag für Essen angeboten wird und bestellen. Somit gibt es keine Speisekarte.man bestellt drinnen und das Essen wird einem gebracht. Dazu wird einem eine kleine Tasse Tee serviert, was ich als sehr gastfreundlich empfand. Generell macht dieses Restaurant einen sehr freundlichen und familiären Eindruck. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

The food tastes great but it's a bit too greasy. Really authentic and varied. However, the restaurant is not as clean as one expects.

Tastes like home. They offer 5-6 daily dishes that cost 11 Euros and come with a salad and bread, never ordered anything else because i didn’t need to. Big portion even for me who eats more than average.
