Çağlayan Grillhaus in Berlin

Excellent, I can recommend this to anyone who wants to spend an enjoyable evening with Turkish cuisine.

I don't usually write reviews, but this was truly unacceptable. I developed an E. coli infection after eating here, and the only thing I saw that could explain it was that the same knife was used in the kitchen to cut raw meat and fresh salad. No disinfection in between, nothing at all. This kind of cross-contamination is dangerous and absolutely does not meet basic hygiene standards. I'm really disappointed because I love their soups and used to come often just for the lentil soup, but this kind of practice endangers the health of their customers. I sincerely hope they take this seriously and improve their food safety protocols.

I highly recommend it! The food is delicious, and every time I go, I feel right at home. From the lentil soup to the more elaborate dishes, everything is wonderful.

Not recommended. We waited an extremely long time, the food was then brought separately, and by the time we could start eating together, half of it was cold. The taste was okay.

Service war horrible. We waited 1 hour for 3 sandwiches and fries. Our order was wrong. Paying cash was the only option, without getting notified in the beginning.

Served my friend raw chicken, then brought me the wrong dish. Got angry at me for refusing to eat it. Never had this bad service.

There's not much to report, but if I want Turkish food, I go there. Good quality, great service, and just how it should be. A somewhat sophisticated restaurant in the back, more of a snack bar in the front – but really delicious.

Definitely recommend! The food is amazing, with great lamb but also vegan options. The staff is super nice and always helped me find the perfect dish. They are basically always open and usually quite busy but somehow they still manage to have fast service !

I had a pleasant experience. The food was properly grilled and very tasty. The service was friendly, pleasant, and quick. What can I say? If you're in the mood for some Turkish food, this place is 100% perfect. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it.

I went on a friend's recommendation because I really missed Turkish food. I'm so glad I did. I got the mixed kebabs. They were all cooked like a delight. You're amazing! 😍

Highly recommended, even for a large group! We ate here today after a funeral with about 40 people and were thoroughly impressed. Although the reservation and arrangements were made only two days in advance, everything worked out perfectly. The team was extremely flexible and organized. The food was consistently delicious, freshly prepared, and there was plenty for everyone. What particularly impressed us, however, was the exceptional service. The entire staff was incredibly attentive, courteous, and empathetic—exactly what we needed for a day like this. Many thanks to the team at Caglayan Grillhaus for the uncomplicated planning and the perfect execution. We felt very well looked after and will certainly return privately.

Our favorite spot on Hermannstraße, the sea bream and sea bass are highly recommended. Plenty of appetizers and a warm atmosphere.

Good Food. Reasonable Prices. The bread is tasty and the peppers that they use for their sauces and grilled peppers are flavorful and not overly spicy. The tea is refreshing and the baklava hit the spot 👌🏾. Not Mind Blowing, but overall a good place to eat.

We were there with 6 people (including 2 small children) and were treated very warmly. We were given extra apple juice from the supermarket for the children as there was none in stock. The "greeting from the kitchen" included warm flatbreads, a large salad bowl with very tasty salad and several plates with various dips that tasted very good. The main courses were also very tasty. We would recommend the fillet as it was of course the most tender. Afterwards we were offered tea at the house's expense, but we were able to exchange it for raki. And to top it all off, we were served baklava as a surprise, so we went home happy and will definitely come back.

After the registry office we had dinner in this restaurant and I really have to say: it was fantastic! I haven't eaten so well in Berlin for a long time. The starters (meze), salad and soup were excellent. This was followed by a mixed grill platter with lamb chops, ribs, chicken, kofta and lamb. Everything was incredibly juicy, perfectly prepared and tasted simply great. I didn't know the restaurant before but it was a real surprise. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I can highly recommend this place to everyone, a real insider tip!

Today I went to eat there with my friend. It was busy but they didn’t tell us how long we will wait for food. After 40mins we asked about our food and they were really rude to us! They said we can’t service you bc there are some others. I told them at least you could tell us maybe it will take time to get food. But they were kind of trying to kick us! Also they were really bad to their workers.. Please don’t go there!

Today I went to dinner with my friend and they made us wait for about 40 minutes. On top of that, they responded rudely by asking "There are many guests inside, should we take care of you?" Even though we told them that if you had told us beforehand that we could wait a long time, we would have acted accordingly, they responded very disrespectfully. Definitely not recommend, I'm sure they will be careless if there is a problem

On Friday evening we were looking for a place where we wanted to eat well. We were immediately warmly welcomed by a very polite and attentive waiter. We were so positively surprised by authentic cuisine with incredibly nice staff!!! I will definitely come back! 5 stars for the Adana plate are absolutely justified! Keep it up and thank you for the great evening and the good food.

We had an excellent dinner, out group was very well attended by the waiters, including salad and bread for the group. Everything was absolutely delicious, the lamb screwers, the lentil soup, the veil meat, very recommended! They are also particularly queer friendly. We will come back every time!

A really great restaurant. It is a family business that transmits this ambience to its guests. I was there with a group of 16 people. You immediately felt like you were with good friends. The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, the food and drinks were served straight away and the taste of the food suggests that the chefs are masters in their element. I would like to thank the staff and the owner of the restaurant again.
