Lecker Essen, Service war auch auf Zack. Auswahl war auch gut. Gerne wieder wenn wir nochmal in Würzburg sind.

Das Essen war gut, aber es war sehr laut auf der Terrasse, vor allem wegen der vielen kleinen Kinder, die mit lauten YouTube-Videos ruhiggestellt wurden.

Top-Tapas und Tinto de Verano, was will man mehr.

Wir saßen draußen. Leider ist die Umgebung nicht so schön, Blick auf Parkhaus, Fassaden, durchfahrende Autos. Nur deshalb gibt es fürs Ambiente einen Punkt Abzug. Wir waren eine Mädelsgruppe und es war einfach meeega 👍👍👍 Das Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent, Essen sehr vielfältig und lecker. Werde definitiv wieder kommen.

Ich muss nicht mehr nach Spanien! Das Essen und das Ambiente im Mera hat uns so geflasht, dass wir das Gefühl hatten in Spanien zu sein! Eine absolute Herzensempfehlung und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir waren mit 17 Personen Tapas essen. Die Tapas waren alle sehr sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und haben die Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Das Personal war super freundlich und vorallem auch schnell. Außerdem war die Buchung sehr unkompliziert und die Angestellten extrem hilfsbereit. Wir mussten die Reservierung 4 mal anpassen, alles ohne Probleme und bei freundlicher Unterstützung. Absolute Empfehlung!

Essen hervorragend und Personal wie immer sehr freundlich, der Außenbereich ist mittlerweile grundsätzlich auch gut gemacht. Hin und wieder riecht es im Außenbereich leider etwas nach Kanalisation, aber da kann das Restaurant nichts dafür.

Sehr gute, authentische Tapas-Bar mitten in Würzburg. Die Location ist sehr schön, der Service sehr gut und das Essen fabelhaft.

Das Essen der Tapas-Bar war hervorragend und die Kellner sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit auf das Essen war kurz. Die Umgebung ist zwar nicht perfekt, doch das Ambiente war trotzdem sehr schön. Die Temperatur war sehr angenehmen und es war alles im Schatten.

Ihr fühlt man sich wie spannen . Die Tabs sind leger .DIE Auswahl ist klein aber sehr gut. Und mach Sache aus spannen kommen find ich sehr gut. Wir gehen immer an unser Hochzeit dort essen.

Mini Verbesserungen: Glaube Küche macht recht früh zu (Gerade für ein spanisches Restaurant zu Deutsch! ;) + Könnten langsam darüber nachdenken in einem größeren Ort zu gehen, das Ambiente im Zelt ist okay aber könnte besser werden.

Die Mitarbeitenden vor Ort sind unfassbar nett und aufmerksam! Das kennt man nicht mehr von vielen Lokalitäten. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch! Eventuell würde der ein oder andere Ventilator im Innenraum nicht schaden, aber das ist auch schon alles, was es "zu meckern" gibt. Absolut zu empfehlendes Tapas-Restaurant!

Köstliche Tapas, wie man sie nur in einem spanischen Restaurant findet: Abondigas, frittierte Calamari, Schinkenkroketten, kalter Schinken und Manchego.

Als erfahrene Spanien (Andalusien) Reisende können wir nur sagen: Hut ab. Selten in Deutschland ein gutes Tapas Restaurant zu finden. Umso mehr waren wir überrascht. Ein wunderbarer Abend, sehr aufmerksamer Service, das Essen kam zügig und mit wirklich tollen Gerichten. Sehr glücklich dieses Restaurant in der Nähe zu haben. Weiter so!

Wunderbare Tapas! Wir haben uns gefühlt wie in Galizien! Super freundliches Personal! Wir kommen wieder!

Das Restaurant ist im Innenbereich eher klein und relativ beengt. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett, aber es dauert teilweise sehr lange, bis man einzelne Tapas bekommt. In meinem Fall war es ein Teller mit ein paar Stückchen Käse. Die Tische sind etwas zu schmal und die einzelnen Portionen sehr klein. Man muss viel bestellen, muss dann aber auch lange warten. Das Essen war soweit gut, vieles ist frittiert und demnach fettig. Als Fleischesser findet man mehr Auswahl. Manche Speisen waren auch sehr scharf, obwohl sie als "mild" bezeichnet wurden. Wir waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe dort und haben pro Person ca. 50€ im Schnitt bezahlt.

Wir haben wirklich lecker und gut gegessen und nicht auf den Preis geachtet. Am Schluß waren wir angenehm überrascht; die Rechnung war akzeptabel. Ganz liebes aufmerksames Personal. Wenn wir wieder in Würzburg sind, essen wir ganz bestimmt wieder dort.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen: Die Bedienung war so freundlich, hilfsbereit und einfach wunderbar. Auch das gesamte Personal war sehr charmant und immer gut gelaunt. Das Essen war köstlich und hat mich an meine Studienzeit in Spanien erinnert. Was will man mehr? Ich wusste gar nicht, dass es in Würzburg so ein tolles spanisches Restaurant gibt. Vielen Dank für dieses fantastische Erlebnis!

Kochkurs als JGA-Idee?! Unbedingt im Mera Tapas 🇪🇸❤️ eine absolut traumhafte Erfahrung! ✨ Von Anfang an herrschte eine einzigartige, herzliche Atmosphäre und wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Jacobo und sein Team haben sich unglaublich viel Zeit genommen, uns nicht nur die einzelnen Gerichte und Techniken zu erklären, sondern auch viele spannende kulturelle Einblicke rund um die spanische Küche zu geben. Wir durften super viel selbst mitmachen, haben dabei unglaublich viel gelernt und vor allem ganz viel gelacht. Man merkt wirklich, mit wie viel Begeisterung und Leidenschaft hier gekocht und gearbeitet wird. Der Nachmittag war perfekt organisiert (auch, wenn wir 10 Mädels waren), persönlich, authentisch und einfach unvergesslich! Ich würde wirklich jedem empfehlen, hier einen Kochkurs zu buchen – nicht nur für einen JGA, sondern generell als besondere Erfahrung mit seinen Liebsten. Für mich ist dieses Restaurant ein absolutes Highlight in Würzburg und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch, wenn ich wieder in der Stadt bin! 🫶🏻 Ganz ganz große Empfehlung! ✨

We were a group of ten and were very satisfied! The food was delicious, and the service was incredibly fast. Highly recommended!

The food and the red wine were very tasty. However, the portions for some dishes were too small for the price. The bread was also too expensive.

The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff was very quick and friendly. Since the restaurant had such good reviews, we were really looking forward to the food. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Most of the dishes were bland, and almost everything was served with the same aioli – when tapas are all about variety and great sauces. For the price, we also expected better quality, for example, in the bread (cheap, pre-baked bread) or the guacamole (not homemade). All in all, still a nice place.

The ambiance is inviting, but the tables for two are quite small and close together. You practically hear the entire conversation of your tablemates. But overall, a very pleasant evening with potential for repeat dining.

A lovely restaurant in downtown Würzburg. Service was good and quick. Everyone can find something to eat here. But be aware that the bowls can be quite expensive. A quick tip: reserve a table in advance. It gets pretty busy here after 7 p.m., even on weekdays.

Super delicious food. The service was very hectic. As soon as a plate was empty, it was practically ripped from the table and carried away at lightning speed without even asking if you could take it with you. It felt like a train station. The drink bottles, on the other hand, remained lined up on the table until just before you paid. A meal you ordered would be completely forgotten. We sat outside in a heated tent. Plastic tables and chairs with simple seat cushions (they could use some updating; they weren't the prettiest or most comfortable anymore). All in all, I've eaten better there.

I lived in Spain for a few years and was really looking forward to the tapas. However, it was rather disappointing. The restaurant didn't have a special ambiance, and the quality of the food was average to mediocre. Overall, it was very greasy and lacking in flavor, but very expensive. The sangria was terrible; you could probably get something more decent at the worst bar in Ballermann. In any case, we won't be coming back. However, the service was very friendly.

We went to Mera Tapas with a couple of friends and unfortunately had to leave the restaurant dissatisfied. First, the positive: the ambiance is very inviting. However, I have to raise a few criticisms regarding the service and food. Items were forgotten with both the drinks and the food orders, and we had to ask several times to make sure everything was complete. Furthermore, the food didn't arrive at the same time; the tapas were occasionally brought over a period of 30-40 minutes. First, I have to say about the food that the restaurant is rather expensive. Furthermore, the descriptions on the menu did not match the food served. For example, we ordered empanadas, but contrary to our expectations, we were served two strips of pastry. These were extremely tasty and also extremely greasy. Overall, not good value for money. Accordingly, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in town! We often eat here as a couple, and it's our absolute favorite. In true Spanish style, they like to use garlic, which is exactly our taste :)

Great little restaurant with very friendly staff and authentic food – but you should definitely make a reservation! The split into indoor/outdoor/tent areas means it's not too noisy, and you can easily have a conversation. The value for money is good. The food arrived quickly and hot. Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a pleasant evening at Mera Tapas ☹️ The restaurant itself is attractively decorated. We sat in the outdoor tent, and the ambiance was fine there, too. While the service was friendly, some items from our order were forgotten and only brought after repeated requests. In general, the tapas bowls arrived individually, about 5-10 minutes apart. The taste wasn't convincing either, and some of them didn't match the description on the menu... The prices are, in my opinion, significantly too high (€3 for ONE bacon-wrapped date?!). A real disappointment...

I've never been so disappointed with a restaurant visit. Unfortunately, nothing here was quite right. Our reservation was kept, and our service was more or less friendly, but that was it. Some of the dishes don't live up to the description. For example, an empanada is described as a golden-brown baked pastry case, and they serve several small, greasy, flat bites that are more reminiscent of a piece of cake and, to my mind, have nothing to do with an empanada. They also serve pisto, but it's more like a type of salsa, with little to no noticeable texture from the vegetables. The tortilla was served with a liquid center, as described, but unfortunately had no flavor, and the eggy smell that came through when cutting it was rather unappealing. My comments to the server were ignored, so we didn't start any further discussions. I lived in Spain for a long time and ate authentic tapas in various regions, but this didn't impress me at all. I don't have anything negative to say about the prices; other tapas restaurants are also more expensive, so overall, it's OK. I don't think we'll be coming here again; I certainly don't understand the positive reviews.

The best oktopus. You can taste the fresh ingredients and the quality of the Tapas. The servicea really good and happiness. The environment is really cozy and very Spanish.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely ridiculous. Such a meal at such a price is very, very disappointing. At least the service was very, very friendly!

Really good tapas, but I've had better ones, sometimes a bit too expensive. We would have liked to have had several tapas at the table at the same time, but somehow the next one always arrived only when one was almost empty. The service was still good, though. Thank you.

Very good cocktails! The food is good; I liked the steaks with potatoes and pimentos the best. Everything else was a bit tasteless – a lot of oil is normal, but the empanadas weren't good at all; they only tasted of onions, not at all of tuna, and were very mushy. 120 euros for two is quite a lot, but tapas are generally expensive. I'd prefer a steak and fish restaurant.

Highly recommended. The tapas were extremely delicious. The crème catalan was also excellent, and the barraquito was the perfect finishing touch. Everyone was super friendly.

A very good selection of tapas, including plenty of vegetarian options, and of course, classics like jamón, rabas, etc. There's also a small selection on the daily specials menu, which is also worth checking out. We would come back anytime!

Actually, it deserves 3.5 stars. The aioli and mushrooms weren't good. The bread is very expensive, and the steak wasn't great either. However, the service was exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance was beautiful on a summer evening. The sangria, however, was more than good, and there are exciting daily tapas.

Despite initial reservation issues (we had reserved inside in case of bad weather), we found a solution and were able to stay. The service was, as always, very friendly and accommodating. The food came super quickly, and all the tapas were truly delicious. Overall, it was a very authentic Spanish meal. I've eaten at Mera Tapas several times over the past year and have always left satisfied. In my opinion, it's still an insider tip in Würzburg.

It was so perfect that I forgot to take any photos. Great location, super friendly and accommodating team. Since we couldn't decide, we left it up to the team, and from A for eggplant to R for beef fillet, it was a delight. We'll be back!

The food tastes good, but the point of tapas shouldn't be that each bowl arrives individually, 20 minutes apart, or only upon request. The service sometimes seems very unmotivated, and the ambiance is okay, but nothing more. Taste or no taste, I imagine something different when it comes to a pleasant tapas evening with friends.

Wonderful restaurant, delicious food, and a very pleasant atmosphere! Spanish music plays the whole time, and the service is very friendly. We had the paella (for two), and the portion was definitely adequate. We were pleasantly full, but we also managed to try a few tapas. If you're looking for authentic Spanish food, this is definitely the place!

We were there as part of a larger group and weren't particularly satisfied. The food arrived at the table completely uncoordinated, orders were mixed up, etc. The food itself was good, but the price was way overpriced!

Super delicious. Unfortunately, you have to order paella the day before, so we couldn't order that. But the tapas were excellent, as was the service. I've never had good croquetas before, but these were unbelievably good.

Very friendly staff, clean tables, and the food was delicious and hot. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the city, near the parking garage and the arcade, but the outdoor area is still beautifully designed and relatively quiet. Prices are also perfectly reasonable. One of the best places in Würzburg for tapas and Spanish cuisine. (:

Very nice ambiance (I can only comment on the interior), very friendly, fast, and courteous service, and the food was super delicious (the meatballs were a bit dry for my taste, but the rest was very good). A very authentic restaurant and staff. An evening like in Spain.

A huge thank you goes out to the MeraTapas team. We had a magical evening in a wonderful atmosphere. We sat outside in a heated tent. The tent wasn't intrusive, as the decor was very attractive and harmonious. The waiters were all super friendly, we were given advice, and they regularly checked on us to see if we had any further requests. The food was simply amazing. It was like being on vacation. I was immediately reminded of my vacations in Spain. We had olives, salad, baguette, giant prawns, octopus and prawns, two croquettes, and mussels. Everything was of excellent quality. This justifies the price. The two of us paid €100. With our meal, we also had two glasses of wine and two homemade iced teas, which were also very tasty, and an espresso (that was the only thing that wasn't so good—but that's a matter of taste). There is a two-hour time slot, which was sufficient for us. Because we were quite spontaneous, we got a table at 8:45 p.m. The kitchen closes at 10:00 PM, which we were informed of in advance so we could possibly order something. We left after about an hour and a half, happy and satisfied, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you for this great restaurant.
