Damas Rose Restaurant in Würzburg

Their food isn't the best. Unfortunately, they're the only Arab restaurant (an Arabic shawarma restaurant) in Würzburg, and they know it well. They haven't expanded their menu, nor have they improved the quality of the food, despite receiving a lot of negative reviews and comments on Facebook, which they naturally ignore. In summary, not recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I visited Damas Rose Restaurant today and it was a truly great experience 🌟. I tried the chicken shawarma (available daily) and the beef shawarma (available only on Fridays and Saturdays) 🍗🥩. Luckily, I was there on Saturday and was able to try both. The taste was delicious and special. I also tried the Zinger Meal and the Broiled Chicken – both were excellent and crispy 👌. My rating: 10/10 👍 I absolutely recommend the visit – it's really worth it!

I was In Würzburg for just a couple of hours. I googled and this joint came up. I just went there, having no expectations, but man oh man was one of the most delicious shawarma I have had. I will specially go back to Würzburg to eat the schawarma again.

I've ordered several times, and every time the garlic cream is missing from my order, even though it should have been included. Also, the chicken is often covered in oil, and the shawarma is burnt. Furthermore, the prices are completely unjustified compared to the taste – other shawarma restaurants are cheaper and taste much better.

A hidden gem just outside the city center. I ordered a crispy burger, which was large and delicious. The service was fast. There was a wider selection of food than in the city center. Everything was halal.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and tried several dishes, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The falafel was hard and seemed old, as if it had been reheated. The typical flavor you expect from fresh falafel was completely missing. The tabbouleh salad was mixed with an excessive amount of oil, which smelled and tasted unpleasant. It had an unpleasant odor and seemed of poor quality—it ruined the entire salad. The French fries were completely unseasoned, very dry, and hard—as if they hadn't been freshly prepared. Overall, the quality of the food was far below expectations. I won't be visiting the restaurant again.

I was craving fried chicken so I searched and came here. I ordered C1 and it was really great. The portion was huge and the chicken was really solid and tasty...🥹 The outside of the chicken was really crispy and I loved it. It was a little salty, but it was still so tasty that I ate it like a maniac. The French fries were also crispy and tasty.

I had shawarma and fried rice there – super delicious, well-seasoned, and the service was friendly and quick. I'll definitely be back!

The service is very bad. My flight was from Munich to Frankfurt and I passed by a place where the food was very bad. The service is very bad. When you enter, you feel like you are begging from them. They are all frowning. The tables are dirty and the food comes out cold and tastes disgusting. Honestly, I do not advise you to try it. The management needs to focus on the restaurant.

Lately you've noticed that the quality is declining. We bought something there two weeks ago. To be honest, the side dishes were never that disgusting. Then I think it's outrageous to charge another 2 euros for the disgusting and mini tin of cabbage. Garlic sauce disgusting. I can do it better myself. As a regular customer after so many years, I have to say this was my last purchase.

Shawarma before Old but Gold Party in PoHa Part 2

Well I came to Germany to visit and I went to this restaurant to try Arabic food , of course I have my very small dog with me which I was not allowed to go inside with it although I'm sure I read in the German law that it is allowed in restaurants which was a bad experience I thought Germany is modern but it turned out Muslim people doesn't like dogs for no Reason, the food was acceptable but kinda dry , the toilet were not really clean so that was a problem

As always, the food is very dry, especially shawarma meat, dogs (even very small dogs) are unfortunately not allowed in, although the court in Germany makes it clear that they are allowed, simply Muslims don't like dogs and they don't want dogs in without a reason, I am Arab myself and found it annoying and not recommended

The shawarma flavor is delicious and fresh The care was great and the workers strive to please the customer. All thanks to them for what they provided. I advise everyone to experiment. I wish success and success to the shop owners.

The food and meals are normal, there is no generosity or anything special. To be honest, I used to come to the restaurant and I was not keen on cleanliness, but now the issue of cleanliness in a restaurant has become provocative. The bathrooms have no tissues and their smell is as bad as I have smelled in restaurants. I have not smelled the smell of the bathrooms except in this store, and frankly, it smells very disgusting. Cleanliness is a basic thing and I am in a place no longer. I come because the smell provokes me, apart from the issue of the dirt on the floor, and after the world has finished eating, they are supposed to wipe the tables. It is service, not self-service 👎🏻

BE CAREFUL DURING OPENING HOURS! Was in the restaurant at 11:17 a.m. (opening is stated from 11 a.m.) and the employees were still hanging up the meat skewer. That was pretty disappointing. Food tastes very good! Personally, I think this is the best shawarma in all of Würzburg! Service is quite ok. Ambience is inviting and beautifully designed. Unfortunately the prices have been raised again. A sharwarma sandwich that is about half the size of a kebab now costs €5.50 instead of €4.50, and a sharwarma arbi (shawarma cut into pieces) with fries, some vegetables and sauce now costs €9.00 instead of €7 .50€! Unfortunately that's too expensive for me! Pretty much every restaurant in Würzburg has now raised their prices, so Damas-Rose is still doing comparatively well. The food tastes very convincing!

I can't understand the good reviews at all. The food has no taste, there are no spices and salt. The shawarma meat was dry. Tabbouleh was good, hence the two stars.

The amount of food was quite large, worth 24 euros, enough for 3 people. The food was delicious but I think it could be better. The potatoes weren't crispy and the chicken was good. I could give them 5 stars. So I hope it will be better next time.
