Delicious casseroles of all kinds. There were four of us here and we had different casseroles; each one tastier than the last. The portions are huge; I didn't finish my "Acropolis" and am looking forward to a delicious dinner with the rest. The service is friendly, attentive and very courteous. In short: highly recommended! And we're not the only ones who think so, because even on Saturday afternoon the restaurant was full to the last seat and there were still people waiting outside the door for a free seat.

Nice place for a cozy meal! Very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service! The food was delicious, fresh, finally something different! However, the place is "buzzing", you should definitely book a table! All the tables and seats were taken in no time. Highly recommended! Reduced lunch for students and schoolchildren during the week.

So incredibly delicious and such lovely people! The portions are more than filling, but you can also have your food packed and take with you without any problem. We'll definitely be back!

Very loud because the room is very small. The food came very late because there was a lot going on. What was annoying was that we only had 1.5 hours because the table was reallocated afterwards. We were denied dessert because we only had 15 minutes left and wouldn't be able to do it in that time frame anyway.

This is a local casserole specialist at Peterplatz. They have a fair sized indoor seating area and are open from 12pm to 2.30pm (lunch) and 5.30pm to 11pm (dinner) each day. Reservations seem to be useful as they were very full both times we passed by recently. We decided to do take-away and enjoyed a delicious Vendura vegetarian casserole back in our apartment rental. The casserole was nicely packaged for take-away and remained hot for over half and hour. It tasted great. We also tried their Der Vegane flammkuchen, which was shaped like a classic pizza with with the signature wafer thin crust of tarte flambe. It was good as well. Would gladly dine at Der Auflauf or do take-away to enjoy in the comfort of rental apartment again next time we are in Würzburg.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the food is absolutely delicious! I had one of the suggested casseroles and it was a treat :) The large version was more than enough, you could have the rest packed up. The only drawback: it took quite a long time for the food to arrive. However, the service was super nice, so it's still 5/5 stars :) Dogs are also allowed, a big plus for us!

Our food tasted very good. You could see the individual preparation of the dishes. The service was good and attentive. Unfortunately, the gnocci in my casserole were not homemade, which deducts a point. In general, however, it is a very cozy restaurant that puts a lot of love into every single dish Suitable for anyone who fancies a different kind of restaurant - there really is something for everyone here.

Very tasty casseroles! The pumpkin soup was also very tasty. The small casseroles are enough for “normal” hunger. Priced very fairly! Unfortunately, the restaurant was very loud, making conversation very difficult/impossible.

We had three different casseroles and all three were really delicious. We ordered the large portion and all had something left at the end. We were immediately offered containers to take away. It was completely booked and with 2 groups it was pretty loud. Nevertheless, I would go back at any time.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff. I went there twice, unfortunately both times something about my food wasn't what I ordered. But the staff will take care of it immediately if you ask them about it. Highly recommended!! Also vegetarian and vegan options :)

The food is often cold and the service is poor

We can highly recommend this restaurant. It is cozy, the service is pleasant and friendly, the toilets are clean and the location is good and quiet. The selection of dishes is exceptional. Especially if you have allergies or intolerances and can put together your own dishes. There are classic casseroles, vegetarian and vegan. Since the dishes are really freshly put together, this is not a fast food restaurant. The wait is worth it. This shouldn't be seen as a negative thing, as we were served our food hot after about 30 minutes. That's completely ok. We'd love to come back. I have marked this spot for future visits to Würzburg. e.g. K. I have been to Würzburg more than 15 times and am glad to have discovered this restaurant.

Restaurant with very varied food. We ordered casseroles from the menu with many options and we ended up delighted. The waiter, Bastian, was very friendly and approachable. It wasn't that expensive for how delicious everything was, and how good the service was.

Very nice service, a bit of a long wait and if the food is spicy, you should mention it on the menu just to be on the safe side. The Neanderthal is not for a day with around 30 degrees, unless you really want to eat spicy food.

Super nice little restaurant in the middle of Würzburg. We were served quickly and the food arrived quickly, even though the store was full. I chose the vegan Maultaschen casserole, it was very tasty :) Even though I believe that these are the vegan Maultaschen from Bürger that I have been buying myself for years. The service is very nice and accommodating! I will gladly come again!

The food is good, it's not unbalanced or with a predisposition to something in particular such as an ingredient or seasoning. Nice place, outside tables are space to smoke. Good service, I didn't make a reservation (wednesday around 1pm), I didn't have to wait long to be served other than the normal waiting time.

The casseroles we had were very good! They have the ability to make your own casserole and make it gluten free.

Nice little restaurant with outside tables on the sidewalk. Had an extremely tasty vegetarian Volo pot with tagliatelle and veggie mince gratinated with mozzarella. For €13.50 the price is absolutely ok. Plus “Bruschetta” for €6.50. Cappuccino was also very tasty. Very friendly service, you can pay by card. Everything was great, absolute recommendation!

I had the vegan snapdragon casserole and it was probably the best casserole I've ever eaten, generally regardless of whether it was vegetarian or homemade. If I'm in Würzburg again, I would definitely come here again.

We went there as per a friend's recommendation. The place was amazing, the food very tasty. And the waitress (Timi) was very polite and helpful . We really enjoyed the experience. I would recommend and would go there again.

Inflexible and unfriendly when it comes to customer requests; If you arrive a few minutes early when reserving a table, you will be rudely sent out the door to wait - even at temperatures of 2°C! There were free tables, but they were reserved for other people who came later or not at all. If you express your dissatisfaction about this situation, you will be told: That's not my problem. You're too early. We're doing this with the tables and we've already thought of something about it. The reserved seats were not yet available to us at the reserved time - while there were free tables on the other side of the restaurant. Comment from the staff: we're already doing that with the tables. This does not ensure customer satisfaction and resonates throughout the evening.

Saturday evening, March 2nd, 2024, we wait in front of the restaurant until it opens at 5:30 p.m., no line, then the information that everything is reserved. No one there - who comes before 7 p.m.? Service desert Würzburg, unfortunately will not make any money with us in the future. Thank God there are alternatives.

Friendly service and good food, but really extremely loud. At first we didn't understand a word each other said. Otherwise, it's very nice that you can put together your own casserole. There is a lot for vegetarians and vegans.

Very attentive service, even though every table was occupied, delicious food, everything very good and at good prices. The casseroles could use a little less sauce or the pasta could be cooked a little less softly and are sometimes a little burnt, but that doesn't affect the taste. We will be back.

A really great restaurant in the student district of Würzburg. Here you feel absolutely comfortable, like in your own living room. There are a variety of different casseroles here that I have never seen in this form before. The Fuego casserole in particular is highly recommended.

Great restaurant! Very tasty, and a concept that I haven't seen anywhere else. The casseroles are varied and simply good. And also extensive. Prices are also very fair for what you get. A nice ambience “like grandma’s” completes the whole thing. You should really try it!

Ein kleines "studentisches" Restaurant. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren. Der Flammkuchen war sehr lecker, aber für den Preis hätte es etwas mehr sein können. Der kleine Salat war super. Wir hatten einen Auflauf von der Karte und einen haben wir selbst zusammengestellten. Es gibt sehr viel Auswahl und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Die Aufläufe waren sehr lecker und preislich top. Die Servicekräfte waren nett. Das einzige was ich bemängel ist folgendes: wir hatten reserviert. Als wir kamen, waren Tische frei, aber nicht abgeräumt. Unser Tische wurde dann leer geräumt, aber nicht gewischt. Wir saßen an dann an dem klebrigen Tisch bis ich nach einem Lappen gefragt habe. Meiner Meinung nach sollte schon klar sein, dass man Gästen einen sauberen Tisch gibt.

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Mittagessen. Unser Platz war sauber, Getränke wurden sofort aufgenommen und kamen sehr schnell. Essen ähnlich. Wir haben selbst kreiert und von der Karte genommen. Alles kam gleichzeitig, super lecker und preislich am Ende total in Ordnung! Klo war sauber. Der Kinderstuhl leider nicht so, aber das war auch das einzige Manko. Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Zu Recht beliebtes Restaurant. Platzreservierung empfehlenswert. Die Zutaten sind frisch. Die veganen Maultaschen selbstgemacht und sehr lecker. Mittags dauert deshalb alles seine Zeit ...

Essen bekommt von mir nur einen Stern, das Gemüse war noch hart, zu wenig Käse für einen Auflauf und die Tomatensoße hat wie eine schlechte gekaufte Soße geschmeckt. Ich war echt enttäuscht, weil ich mich auf einen leckeren Auflauf gefreut habe. Der Service war ganz nett und das Ambiente schön.

das restaurant ist klein und gemütlich und gut besucht, reservieren lohnt sich auf jeden fall auf der karte gibt es eine super auswahl an auflauf (selbstverständlich) aber auch flammkuchen und nachspeisen kommen nicht zu kurz, und da es auch viele vegane optionen gibt wird hier glaube ich jeder glücklich. unsere bedienung war auch total nett und von früheren besuchen kann ich das auch nur untermauern, hier hat man eigentlich immer eine gute zeit!

Sowohl der Vegane Gaucho Auflauf, als auch der Selbstzusammengestellte Auflauf mit Kartoffeln, weißen Bohnen, Knoblauch, Blattspinat und veganem Käseersatz waren super lecker. Das Essen ging trotz vollem Restaurant echt schnell und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr sehr lecker, wenn auch sehr mächtig. Für normal Essenzen weibliche Person ist die kleine Üortion ausreichend.
