The pizza is first class. Nice and thin and well baked. The garlic oil tastes amazing.

In my opinion, it's a place that doesn't deserve its price. Pizza dough is much below the Italian average, mozzarella quality is low. Despite this, the prices are quite high. The employees are very polite.

The quality of their pizzas has deteriorated consistently since I first had them two years ago and their service has gotten worse and rude. They don’t allow people to order just food and insist on drinks (happened to me a few times), and insist on paying in cash. I’m really surprised to see such rudeness

This week and last week we picked up a pizza with a special request (pepperoni extra). The special request was billed very fairly, the pizza was always fantastic and fresh from the wood oven. Overall excellent experience, highly recommended!

Went to the restaurant for the first time yesterday with 5 people. All 5 loved the pizza. Topping and dough taste very good. The dough is very thin and baked until crispy. All had a diameter of around 40cm. Unfortunately the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible (toilets in the basement). The service could be more attentive with the drinks. Otherwise definitely a recommendation.

My best friend and I had pizza here for the first time and it was great. The staff, the pizza, the drinks… really everything was of excellent quality. We will definitely come back <3 11/10 we are thrilled :)

I was the only customer dining in. They did a bit strange treatment.. like telling me not to eat there if I won't buy water or stared moving tables for no reason when I seat down behind one Pizza wasn't cut trough properly on slices ... it felt a bit tense Server did asked owners permission to not allow me eat there if I won't buy water.

Pizzas as big as wagon wheels. Nice and hot, they come straight from the stone oven to the plate and have a lot of overhang. The base is crispy, with an edge so nice and fluffy that you definitely have to eat it too. Garlic and chilli oil are served with it. The salad with chicken strips was also very tasty: mixed leaf lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a great fried meat that was still super juicy on the inside. Friendly, quick service. Clean sanitary rooms. The ambience is okay, the tables are a bit narrow. Parking is rather difficult, but subway Theresienstrasse is nearby. If you're really into pizza, you're in the right place here.

My neighbor for over a year, and I've been coming here almost every week at times. The family that runs the restaurant, as well as the employees, are very nice people. The stone oven pizza is A1, and the rest of the dishes are also very tasty and comparatively inexpensive, especially for this location. Otherwise, a very pleasant atmosphere, and a great outdoor area located very centrally in the city, next to the restaurant. I can definitely recommend Mentor's to anyone who wants to go out for a nice evening meal in Maxvorstadt with their partner, family or friends.

A delicious stone oven pizza with a delicious dough and a crispy, thin base. The pizzas all have a generous diameter of 40cm. The staff was also very friendly.

We were very disappointed… A rude waitress served us and we waited more than 30 minutes for the pizza… The dough was very tasty but the filling was not good. We had the prosciutto pizza and it wasn't what we expected. The pizza was dry with little cheese. You should also keep in mind that you won't get a seat without ordering a drink. Paying by card is also not possible. We remained dissatisfied.

Because of the good reviews, we decided to visit Mentor's wood-fired pizza this evening. We were happy that we got a place on Sunday evening at very short notice. We ordered tomato soup, Rigatoni Quattro Formaggi and Pizza Buffalo as well as red wine. The food came extremely quickly, which is generally a very positive thing - unfortunately we didn't have any cutlery and the soup came at the same time as the noodles for my companion. The logical consequence was that she had to inhale the soup so that the noodles didn't get cold. The wine was clearly too warm for that. You also don't drink red wine at 25°C. Both the soup and pizza tasted excellent, the pasta was rather mediocre. In addition, it's not great if the waiter takes a smoke break every now and then and then brings a nasty waft of cigarettes to the table. When the faux pas was pointed out, we apologized several times, the soup was taken off the bill and grappa was given on the house at the end. Because of the good food, we only get four stars for being so accommodating - otherwise it would have been a maximum of three.

It was recommended to us as the best pizza in Munich and we quickly sat down at the tables outside, but we weren't told particularly politely that you had to order something to drink. I don't know of any German regulations that say this. And yes taste of the pizza wasn't bad.

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Tuesday and ordered salads. Both were very tasty and of ample proportions. I had the Antipasti Misto and got, besides the expected items, a scoop of a seafood mix (mussels, squid, shrimp, octopus) that took the plate to a whole other level. Since it was after the main lunch period things were relaxed with a couple of children in the back to liven up the atmosphere. A few blocks W of the museum district and worth seeking out. A few tables outside and about a dozen inside. Very cozy.

Incredibly horrible service. We were rudely informed that we had to order a drink by being presented with the menu with the corresponding note without saying a word. Confused, we then ordered a drink, but large drinks were brought to us instead of small ones. If the waitress had explained the requirements to us in a friendly manner, no problem, we would have understood. The sound simply makes the music. Pizzas are expensive, but large with a lot of fluffy edges. But it doesn't matter, the waitress made sure we wouldn't come back.

The 4 of us went to an evening event in the state capital and had reserved a table online beforehand, we arrived on time and the table was also available. The staff was very quick, almost a bit too hectic for our taste... but my, the place was full. First of all, the good news ends. Pizza Funghi was a complete taste disaster. It's simply not enough to cook huge things in a wood-fired oven where the topping doesn't taste like anything and there's half a meter of edge around the outside. Everything was missing, sorry. The calamretti was also a joke. 5 Miniminimini Calamaretti (and Calamaretti are the smallest representatives anyway), with vegetables and potatoes (yes, I ordered and paid for both side dishes) which was also underground in quantity. 1 spoonful of vegetables and 1 (!) mini potato. I don't eat much anyway, but I left here hungry. That's exactly how it looked with the beef loin. The atmosphere is too crowded, too loud and something is constantly being picked up. We didn't feel comfortable. We all have experience in gastronomy, but are no longer active in this area, but we all agreed: something like this only works in the big city, where the rents are so high that there are always a few investors at the table and they can take a lot off your plate to steal. That's why you unfortunately need concepts like "drinks are mandatory". We understand that too. And at least the wood stove is actually a wood stove - new wood had just been delivered as we left. A plus point for that.

They serve enormous 40cm pizzas guaranteed to make you full. Most people I saw ate half and packed the remainder for home. The taste of the pizza was also nice. My only complaint would be that the outer crust was a bit dry. It would have been better if the sauce had been more spread out. You also need to order a drink with your meal.

Their pizza is delicious, and the 40cm size offers great value. However, if you're like me and prefer not to drink anything, they can be quite insistent and even forceful about it. I've been there twice, and the attitude from different employees was consistently rude. In summary, if you're able to overlook the attitude and just want a quick meal with a drink, it might still be worth giving it a try.

Pizza was very large and really well topped. It was also tasty and the prices were also reasonable. Garlic oil is best, provided you don't have a date. Definitely come back.

Had the spaghetti napoliten and liked it a lot. My friend had the pizza augusto, it was very big and tasted good. The only negative thing i’d say is that my aperol spritz was much bitter than normal. Also they have this interesting policy where you have to order a beverage with your food. Overall, it was a good experience.
