Mendoza Steakhaus in Berlin

I didn't like it this time; the baked potato was way too soft. The salad dressing was too watery.

Exceptionally good food and very friendly servers. We've been customers for years and are extremely happy.

We sat outside in the beautiful weather, but unfortunately, the backyard, half a parking lot, didn't offer a pleasant atmosphere; it was very uninspiring. The food was good. The steak was cooked to perfection. I also didn't like the pre-made sauces from bottles on the table. The customer parking lot is only accessible via a very narrow driveway, so be careful! Parking in front of the restaurant is only available after 8 p.m. (in the bus lane), otherwise you'll have luck in the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied today. My wife brought takeout after a visit there. The portion size and quality were vastly different. A grilled plate for €27 with three small pieces of meat is unacceptable. In the restaurant, for example, they served four larger pieces of meat. When I complained over the phone, I was not taken seriously and was even laughed at. They offered me a new meal, but that wasn't realistic due to the distance.

Brilliant. Perfect. Food, staff, AND bathroom facilities... Highly recommended. And the garden seating is fantastic. In the middle of town, yet quiet like a village. I wish there were more stars... but it's not possible.

Wonderful backyard beer garden. Barely visible from the outside. Good and prompt service. They also accommodate special requests. Prices are reasonable. The food was delicious.

I had the sirloin steak with fried onions and a baked potato with sour cream for €23.90. I added a non-alcoholic wheat beer, and I was already at €30. The steak was medium—as requested—and tasted good. Together with the baked potato, it was a filling meal. It's not a revelation, but it's a solid steakhouse where you can't go wrong.

Warning to all meat lovers! The “bernaise sauce” in this restaurant is not real. They make it from a grocery store-bought packet, and serve it hot. When I asked the waiter about the sauce, he immediately admitted the sauce was made from a oacjet and he saw nothing wrong with it. But after that conversation his attitude turned from professional to rude. (It is the balding, chubby one)

Very good sirloin steak, the ambience is a bit dark, window seats are recommended🤣 4 fairly narrow parking spaces in the backyard with a rear entrance.

Fed up with spare ribs. They're okay as long as it doesn't get too crowded. Unfortunately we had to send some back. Which is a shame, there should be different sauces. The seasoned ketchup marinade isn't really great. Otherwise it was quite good

We were looking forward to the meal (on the occasion of a 50th birthday), but were very disappointed. The "bestseller" Surf & Turf was - to put it nicely - below average. Only the small piece of beef was grilled well. Otherwise, three much too dry and tiny "large" shrimps, peppers from the jar instead of vegetables from the grill and an unappealing bed of lettuce (+ baked potato)... And all that for a good 37 euros. This was our last time in Mendoza.

Ate very well. The waiter was attentive and very friendly. I ate a lady steak. The salad buffet had a large selection and was very fresh.

A professional and well-run steakhouse. The steaks for 5 people, including the side dishes, were without complaints and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and themed. Only the toilet rooms deserved a little more attention, although there was nothing to complain about in terms of hygiene.

We like coming here, always good quality and deliciously prepared. The salad buffet is a hit. Guests are always welcome!

One of the best steakhouses I know. Family atmosphere, friendly, quick and attentive service, a lovingly arranged and fresh salad buffet and the steak was tender and perfectly medium. I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back when I'm in Berlin again.

I have been a regular guest for many years and can only recommend this restaurant! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The salad bar is always fresh and offers a wide selection. The meat is cooked perfectly, exactly how you want it, and the all-you-can-eat ribs (spare ribs) are simply awesome. I look forward to my visit every time!

I had a schnitzel with fries. As well as two cyclists. Everything was delicious. Fries crispy and not greasy. Just like the schnitzel. Can only be recommended.

Ate at Mendoza again today. The food was delicious, but I had a large piece of glass in the ice cream (walnut cup). After I told the waiter this, he just commented oh a shard or plastic, took everything and left. When it came to paying, we were told that he could only offer a short one, and nothing more would be possible, but since I drive a car, I said no. So I unfortunately have to say, today was the LAST TIME we were in Mendoza. I could have slit my tongue on the shard, but then I probably wouldn't have been interested. :( It's a shame. So be careful.

Always good for years. I particularly love the salad buffet with, among other things: Cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and eggplant. The steak was again medium rare. Cocktails, I had a swimming pool. Yummy

I have to admit that I was a bit biased here. I was there a few years ago, sitting in the back yard and the food wasn't that great back then - unimaginative and bland in taste. This time I was invited for my birthday and decided on the spare ribs. They weren't what I expected, they tasted like they had been prepared and warmed up for a long time. The ready-made sauce only partially removed the ribs. All in all, it wasn't the big bang that would make me want to go there again... The cleanliness, dust on the salad counter, also left a lot to be desired. #I was there personally and my reviews correspond to my personal experiences.

Great restaurant. Was there as a little girl. That's why the ambience is only rated 4 stars. However, the rest is TOP. Totally delicious, friendly, almost family-like. And just by the way...actually it should have been 6 stars! Especially in comparison with the blockhouse at Theodor Heuss Platz, which was totally bad.

Once again we had very tasty spare ribs here. In addition, the delicious salad from the well-stocked salad buffet, put together according to your own taste with dressing (3 different ones) of your choice. The meat portion is so generous that I rarely manage to order more, even though it is an "all you can eat" offer. The lamb fillet was also excellent, fried to perfection and tender as butter. Attentive but not intrusive service. Good price-performance ratio. If we feel like meat, we always like to come here.

My go-to restaurant when it comes to steaks for ages. Very good salad bar, good steaks, friendly service. Why only 4 stars? Well, in my opinion the price development is starting to be a bit questionable, but like in almost all restaurants. So it's getting too expensive, no 5 stars possible.

Everyone who writes here that the spareribs are the reason why they would come back again and again has never eaten spareribs in their life or is a purchased movement. These weren't ribs but shoe soles with barbecue sauce.

Price-performance okay. Spare ribs at lunch were a bit too dry for me personally. My companion found the spare rips good. Would I go out to eat again: probably.

The food is good. However, it varies slightly between each meal. A Pollo pan is good, but a Wiener Schnitzel might be a bit boring. I think the salad bar is great. My wife isn't really into it. We like to go there. Especially since you can sit outside, which you might not expect given the location.

Tempted by the good reviews, I couldn't resist visiting this place. I was going for a steak, but a placemat with a photo of ribs changed my mind. The appetizer - a soft baguette with garlic butter was delicious. Starters - tomato soup, like 3/5, it was not seasoned in any particular way, more rather than less. The fried Camembert also seemed a bit tasteless to me, overall it was too much for an appetizer, but it's German style, ok 🤭 Main course - the ribs could be a little juicier, I had difficulty separating the meat from the bones, but overall I liked them, the portion is really large, and there are broccoli with a tasty sauce. The steak 🥩 was tender, and the fries received extra praise. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor of the place is quite specific, like in a steakhouse, although I would take off the sad moose antlers and deer figurines stuck on them and pretend that no one saw it... 😅 Behind the TV there is a bas-relief of a guy on a horse, I don't know how long it took me to decipher what it was it's 😂 clean in the bathroom, even very clean, although there are cobwebs flying under the ceiling, be careful with the tap in the women's toilet, the water pressure may surprise you and splash you 😉 I found a funny mistake in the dessert menu, we argued whether it was a coincidence or they kicked each other like that on purpose to attract attention 🤭 Overall, we left smiling with full bellies and when I feel like eating ribs again, I know where to go.

The food and drinks were delicious and the waiters were super nice. Nice salad bar, well stocked and varied. I wouldn't have preferred the hot peppers but the mild-sour pepperoni, but that's purely my personal taste.

For 20 euros per person it is possible to use the all you can eat menu for the Sparerips menu. The salads and various side dishes at the buffet bar are included in the price. The meat dishes are very tasty and fresh. The business is family friendly. The cocktails taste great and are professionally prepared. This restaurant is recommended for larger groups. I would like to thank the very attentive service in this company. 🌹

Delicious. Salatbsr is top and my favorite. Prices are moderate. The Mendoza is always a good choice. I like coming here.

Were there for the first time. Tried spare ribs with a full salad from the buffet. It was very good and I would definitely go back to Mendoza for spare ribs. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the door in the bus lane on weekends. There is also a summer garden at the back.

Long-established steakhouse that people have been visiting again and again for years. Here you can put together your own salad from the buffet. The steaks and the house sour cream with baked potatoes taste great.

Wir waren zu 8 essen. Wurde alle gleichzeitig mit unserer Hauptspeise versorgt. Und es war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren üpig . Der Salat von dem Buffet konnte man sich selbst zusammenstellen und variieren. Kommen sehr gerne wieder . Das knoblauchbrot am Anfang war sehr sehr lecker und noch warm . Danke ür das tolle Essen ,und die Bedienung war sehr nett und fragten auch nach ob alles ok sei . Danke für den schönen Abend

wir waren des öftern schon hier Essen. Jedes Mal absolut zufrieden denn das Steak auf den Punkt zu bringen,kann nicht jeder! Einzig die Pommes sind,nur für mein Geschmack,nicht so berauschend. Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr rustikal eingerichtet und etwas dunkel aber dafür ist das Essen wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt sogar ein Kids Menü mit Ausmalbilder. Wir werden bestimmt nochmals dort Essen gehen

Sehr lecker! Übertrifft bei Weitem das Blockhaus. Sowohl das Filetsteak als auch das Hüftsteak waren auf den Punkt Medium. Das hauseigene Knoblaubbrot ist ein Muss! Und die Grünen Bohnen waren auch mega lecker. Service / Bedingung top. Ambiente auch! Gerne wieder - komplett überzeugt!

Schönen Platz gehabt, Salat an der Salatbar selbst zusammenstellen, Rippchen für den Preis 20.90€ All you can eat einfach lecker mit der sosse , Schnitzel Wiener Art war lecker und Hähnchenbrust mit championsosse war auch gut. Der Apfelstrudel war nicht so gut ,war nicht selbst gemacht und durch aufwärmen in der Mikrowelle sehr pappig gewesen . Der Kellner war flott unterwegs und angenehm gewesen. Alles ìn allem ein guter Abend

Essen war sehr lecker. Man kann sich zum Steak ein Salat selber aussuchen. Das Essen wirkt hochwertig.

Essen einfach serviert, Salatbar hat das übliche im Angebot, zum Steak wird dann Fertig Ketchup von Gut und Günstig oder von Knorr serviert für ein Steakhouse meiner Meinung schon ein bisschen merkwürdig welches auf Qualität wert liegt ! Warum stellt man nicht gleich eine Flasche Maggi hin ? Aber wer es mag .... Nun ja
