It's a shame they're currently renovating. The steaks are always top-notch, especially for the price. We like to go there every now and then. The food arrives quickly, and if you know what you're going to eat there, you won't be disappointed. My recommendation! Steak, salad, garlic bread. I hope we can eat there again soon.

I've been coming here since the 90s. I lived around the corner (on Ebersstrasse). Then as now, the service and value for money are more than fair. There's nothing to complain about with the food here! Ali is the original owner of this place. I hope Doree stays with us for a long time. We enjoy coming here from Steglitz by bus. Parking is hard to come by. We had medium-rare beef fillet, grilled pork steak, salad, a piccolo, and a wheat beer. A tip for the server was a given. We'll be back. Doree is currently closed until October. Until then, the restaurant is located at Torfstrasse 9.

Value for money 😁 We ate two evenings at the restaurant and had super delicious food both days. I have never had such good food for so little money. It will be revisited next time we come to Berlin. 1x400g steak 2x pizza 1x Mexican dish 3 large sodas 0.5 liter primitivo wine 68€ + free desserts for the kids and free coffee for the adults.

I've been coming here on and off for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Unbeatable value for money. The Doree will be closed from June to October 2025 for renovations. However, the "Doree65" on Torfstraße has opened.

I think we've been coming here regularly for twenty years or so. The quality is consistently excellent. Everyone can afford a nice steak and side dishes here. Very fair prices, and for many years now, we've offered 50% off all our meals. Great. Fast and friendly service. We're always happy to come back.

The food tastes really good, the meat is very tasty, I eat there almost all the time, the prices are just unbelievable, you get dessert on the house, for example coffee, teramisu ice cream and many more dishes that they cook or bring the food, I don't have the exact word in mind but they are very friendly, so it's just a very good restaurant, worth it

Yesterday I was spontaneously out and about and stopped by. The entrecôte was delicious and so was the grill platter, it was so huge, fried mushrooms, vegetables...everything was great and the price was great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥰... Service was A1, super fast and super friendly, attentive, and the sweet waiter too 😝😝😝. At the end there was a free tiramisu and a cafe or something like that, but by then I was already super full 😄. So I would definitely like to come back.

The food (we had rump steak) was delicious. We had absolutely no complaints! Even though the restaurant itself is loud and a bit hectic, the staff are super friendly and don't forget you. We didn't have to wait 30 minutes for our food, even though the place was full. Definitely worth a visit (or several). :)

So... The service is fast, attentive, and friendly! The food arrived promptly and was hot, too. The food itself is delicious, if not of a high standard. But for the very reasonable prices, it's totally fine! The decor is a bit dated, but still OK. You don't often see dessert and a free shot of schnapps. All in all: a pretty good place for a budget! There were still parking spaces available on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Good restaurant. Excellent food. Everything cooked to perfection and delicately seasoned and seasoned. I've known 'Doree' for almost thirty years and at some point there was a change of ownership and at some point it was a non-smoking restaurant. This circumstance has prompted my family and I to stop by more often. And since the 2000s at the latest - our daughter was still very young back then - we have been 'caught': Ice cream for the daughter, grappa & co for the parents, plus a family atmosphere and a hospitality that sometimes borders on friendship. All of this needs to be taken into account in view of some condescending and negative criticism. Since we are not gourmets, we cannot make a final judgment about the quality of the food. We, on the other hand, have never been disappointed here in terms of cuisine, nor have we had to complain about anything or ever have to return it. Perhaps it may be because of the fact that with active and benevolent communication on both sides, the result is more likely to be correct. I can only confirm this from the local hosts! Food: good Ambiance: pleasant Service: 'on the ball' and open-minded and friendly. Doree 'p a s t' for everyone who appreciates culinary quality, even if it doesn't immediately ruin financial resources.

Ordered a medium Entrecôte, the meat was surely no such, more sort of a rump steak well cooked. The table was not cleaned before the food served.

I was there today with my wife and my 17 year old daughter. The steak was very good, to the point and well seasoned, unfortunately everything else wasn't that great😐. The beans were bland, the fried potatoes have never seen a frying pan as they were fried and therefore greasy and the service was mediocre. Despite being asked five times, we waited almost 30 minutes for the bill and to make matters worse, the waiter asked me if he could marry my daughter because he needed a German passport to be able to stay here. I'm not one to joke, but I definitely meant it seriously. I've read some reviews here and can't imagine they're serious. Will definitely never eat there again.

Great food and all the staff were super nice

We were there with 8 people and had booked a table. The service was...mediocre. It took a long time to clear and clean the table from the previous ones. The drinks and our food were almost thrown on the table :-( Maybe it was because it was very crowded that day. The food was very good. :-)

We went to this place last night. The meat wasn't bad, but on the bill they had added 9 euros of pieces of butter (not requested by us, because as Italians we certainly don't put butter on meat), 3 euros of a sauce with which the broccoli was seasoned, not requested by us.... the most absurd thing.... two bottles of water.... 14 euros 😱. Not to mention the smell of embers on our clothes when we left. The prices on the menu are low, but then they charge you for things the customer didn't request and the price skyrockets. Excellent. the tiramisu "offered" by the house...."offered" so to speak because then they made us pay 14 euros for the water and 9 euros for the unsolicited butter😅

Wir waren um 12.30 Uhr da waren noch die einzigen. Bedienung super nett, schneller Service Salat super frisch das Fleisch sehr zart und die Preise verdammt gut. Ein Verdauungss...aufs Haus. Nur mit Parkplätzen ist es schwierig wegen Baustellen .S-Bahn in der Nähe und Busverbindung direkt vor der Tür. Ab den 04.03.2022 braucht man nur noch Masken wenn man nicht am Platz sitzt.

The service was so bad that we actually had to leave the restaurant again after repeated requests, we were able to order then at some point the food came, it was cold, the meat was bad, we had to get the plates ourselves, the granddaughter got her pizza on a serving tray instead of on a plate we were with speechless never again.

The steaks are cooked as requested. The quality of the meat is good. The pork fillet medallions were sliced ​​too thin and quite tough, and the gorgonzola sauce that went with them wasn't intense enough for this spicy cheese. The waiters are understaffed and therefore find it difficult to keep up with serving the guests. The prices are unbeatable, but cheap doesn't always mean good.

The restaurant itself has seen better days but is comfortable nonetheless. Service is hit and miss. I've had some really bad, rude service here. The waiters are always aloof and have an attitude. You must get there attention for every little thing.

Best steakhouse in town! Service is great

This steakhouse is extremely popular in the evenings and especially at the beginning of the month and is known for inexpensive food that comes to the table relatively quickly. I've been a regular there for about 10 years. However, the interior is very old and worn and dates back to the old Chinese restaurant era. In the evenings you can't always find a spot spontaneously, which is less of a problem in the warm season due to the large outdoor area. If you would like to visit this restaurant with several people, a reservation by telephone is recommended. Unfortunately, in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day business, this sometimes gets “sweaty”. Parking spaces are very rare, especially in the evenings. However, you can also park in the bus lane after 6 p.m., which increases the likelihood of finding a parking space. All in all, this was and is a recommended address.

Finally a fillet that deserves the name.

Ich habe ein nettes Restaurant für eine Weihnachtsfeier mit meinen 10 Mitarbeitern gesucht. Ich bin durch einen Mitarbeiter auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden, der es mir empfohlen hatte. Daraufhin bin ich hingefahren, um einen Tisch zu reservieren und meine Wünsche bezüglich des Essens zu besprechen. Man hat meine Wünsche und den Termin notiert. Als meine Mitarbeiter und ich dann im Restaurant eintrafen, waren jedoch alle Tische besetzt. Wir mussten warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Obwohl vereinbart war, dass drei Platten mit verschiedenen Gemüsesorten, verschiedenen Fleischarten, Salat, Brot, vegetarischem Essen und Vorspeisen serviert werden sollten, Lieb- und geschmacklos bekamen wir: 1. ein paar Stücke gegrillte Fleisch. 2. einen kleinen Teller mit kalten Pommes. 4. einen weiteren kleinen Teller mit Kartoffeln. Ich hatte bei der Reservierung extra betont, dass ich kein Fleisch esse und unbedingt Gemüse benötige. Als ich dann feststellte, dass weder Gemüse noch Salat serviert wurde, bat ich den Kellner, mir etwas Salat zu bringen, da dies fehlte. Daraufhin wurde mir ein Salat mit fettiger Soße serviert, den ich nicht essen konnte. Zusätzlich musste ich für diesen Salat noch 12,00 € extra bezahlen, obwohl Salat laut Vereinbarung enthalten sein sollte.
