Delicious doner kebab, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. Would gladly come again...

If you're paying an extra €1.50 (!) for cheese on your döner kebab, then it should actually be there. It's very disappointing that, despite asking three times whether the döner had cheese, you only find out at home that the order was wrong. Perhaps they should put someone at the till who isn't so easily overwhelmed.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab tastes only average. Very little sauce, little salad, and what little there is has a sour dressing. In my opinion, the price is not justified.

We ordered our food to go. It was quick considering the large order. The kebab tasted OK, but nothing special. I was actually really disappointed by the size. The kebab was very small. Basically, you can eat there. Considering it was recommended to me as the best kebab place in Dresden, I was a bit disappointed. The restaurant looked really cozy, though.

Always happy to come back. The food here is really good! And the lovely outdoor area is also worth a mention.

Well-rolled dürum. A generously filled kebab! The staff is pleasantly friendly and serves the food in about four and a half minutes. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the sauce and cheese are creamy. One criticism, however, is that the spicy sauce we ordered isn't very spicy, but that's a matter of taste. The portion size is very generous and well-suited for hungry mouths. Unfortunately, there weren't enough napkins provided with the food. The background music fits the atmosphere of the beer garden. The thyme bush on the table has been well watered and smells fresh. Speaking of scents, the restrooms are clean and the smell pleasant. All in all, a pleasant stay, and I would recommend a second visit. Thank you, dear Meliz team.

For a long time, this was a really good and tasty kebab place. The atmosphere is very nice, especially the beer garden outside. Unfortunately, both the quality of the service and the quality of the food have declined. Today the ingredients were wrong, and for the first time, it didn't taste good at all.

Overall, a poor restaurant. The prices are outrageous and the wait times are incredibly long. The atmosphere is substandard and, in my opinion, doesn't belong in an expensive, fancy fast-food restaurant. It's a shame, we won't be back.

Laut Bewertungen sollte der Laden sehr gut sein und darum wollten wir und selbst davon überzeugen. Wir kamen Abends nach 20 Uhr und der Laden war trotzdem sehr gefüllt und wir mussten für unsere Bestellung schon eine Weile ca. 15 Minuten warten. Das Bestellsystem vor Ort ist eigenartig und nicht unbedingt toll. Man bekommt eine Nummer, die man sich merken muss und steht dann im Eingangsbereich zwischen anderen Gästen herum und wartet. Es wurde leider nicht gefragt, ob man etwas nicht möchte oder was im Döner/Dürüm enthalten sein soll. Man hätte dies wohl bei der Aufgabe der Bestellung tätigen sollen und nicht wie man es gewohnt ist, wenn der Mitarbeiter mit dem Befüllen anfangen möchte, dass er fragt was rein soll und was nicht. Hier bitte darauf achten, dies bei der Bestellaufgabe zu erledigen! So hatten wir dann eine Dönerbox mit Salat und einen Dürüm mit allem. Reklamieren wollten wir aber nicht, da wir uns hätten von Anfang an melden bzw. nachfragen sollen. Der Dürüm war überdurchschnittlich, also besser als 99 % von den Dönern in Dresden, aber gehört nicht zu den besten, die ich gegessen habe. Die Saucen schmecken wie üblich, also vermutlich Convenience-Produkte. Preislich schon in der oberen Liga und bei weitem nicht mehr, was man als „fair“ bezeichnen kann für einen Döner/Dürüm, aber so sind mittlerweile alle Läden geworden. Darum gehen wir auch seltener bzw. kaum noch auswärts essen. Im Endeffekt ist der Laden okay und den würde ich jederzeit den Läden der Innenstadt von Dresden vorziehen.

We like going here. The selection and quality of the food is really good. The people are friendly. In summer, you can sit in the garden, where it's sheltered and there are shady spots.

The food wasn't prepared correctly according to the order, and the service left a lot to be desired. I was then told to just eat what he had prepared. After a brief discussion, this was possible. I probably paid for both anyway, but no receipt was issued, citing the reason it wasn't possible. Tax evasion + fraud Report to the tax office will be filed! PS: I've never experienced anything like this anywhere...

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. I opted for a large doner kebab plate for €13 instead of the regular doner kebab for €7.50. There was less salad on the plate than in the regular doner kebab. There was less salad and not the usual doner vegetables. I didn't even get a whole flatbread. Just two strips. Sorry, but that's almost cheating. I'd be better off getting a regular doner kebab on my plate.

I think it's the best kebab restaurant in Dresden. The sauce is fantastic and the meat tastes truly authentic. And the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend the place. Top!

Great apple tea! Everything was really delicious, and the prices are still very reasonable considering the atmosphere. However, they should change their payment provider. It's very outdated when you can no longer pay with a debit MasterCard on your smartphone.

Doner kebab only half full despite the royal price! The store can't be beaten in terms of intrusiveness! You just want to eat your kebab in a relaxed manner and are pestered to write a good review! Everyone prefers to go to Welat, larger portions + value for money is right!

You can only dream of a meal like this!!! The full-flavored mixture of warm, crispy flatbreads and regional tender veal will keep you eating well beyond your hunger. The red sauce has an oriental, spicy taste that leaves you hoping for more. The excellent kebab, the extremely friendly staff and the fair price are reason enough to give this restaurant 5 stars!

Texas kebab is very tasty. It is also no problem to get variations of kebab plates that are not officially on the menu.

We ate here for the first time based on a recommendation and it is becoming our new favorite kebab. You don't eat like you're in a snack bar, but you sit nice and comfortably (there's also a large outdoor area). The service was nice and the boss is in a good mood, it feels very familiar. The kebab variations are very tasty, the one with grilled vegetables and the Texas kebab are particularly recommended.

The kebab tasted excellent, especially the red sauce was of the finest taste. You can taste the regional origins in the meat. What is particularly noteworthy, however, is the ambience of the restaurant. It's the perfect atmosphere to take your wife out in the evening!

To this day it has been my favorite for kebabs etc. Unfortunately, they are now going back in time and no longer allow credit card payments. It's 2025 people. The 1.7% should be worth the customers to you. Everything else is great as always, but this really spoils the visit for me. I hope you come to your senses again soon. Until then, I'll unfortunately have to eat somewhere else.

I said NO salad twice. You can give three guesses what they put in it. No matter how difficult it is, I don't recommend it.

The last time I was here was 15 years ago and I was satisfied even then. We were there last weekend and it was great. The atmosphere is great and there are lots of seating options. You can also eat well there in larger groups. Of course there isn't that much going on. The food and beer were great. Price performance fits. Highly recommend this restaurant. By the way, I only had a small plate of kebab.

I wasn't really convinced by the kebab. The bread wasn't crispy, my request "without tomatoes" wasn't fulfilled and the taste was average at best. The portion size was good, but for a reasonable €8.50. The service was neither friendly nor unfriendly... you were just served.

The Meliz is in itself a good address if you eat there too. Then it fits. What unfortunately doesn't fit at all is the take-away food because you can never really manage to take into account the simplest special requests (with without sauce.. with without tomato, onion, etc..). This has been going wrong for a year and every time we try again the surprise when unpacking is annoying. You should pay more attention to quality instead of quantity... we won't be choosing take-away anymore because the simplest wishes are regularly wasted here...

We placed two separate orders and both times sauces were put on them without any questions. Very unusual and extremely questionable, especially for allergy sufferers and vegans.

We just had dinner here and I am writing down my thoughts in the heat of the moment. The environment is awesome. Everything is very well thought out and designed. Very cool. The employees are very attentive and helpful. They hosted us very nicely. I drank soup, it was very delicious. I ate pita, it was good. My wife ate döner, she said it was average, no lie. Baklava was also very delicious. I invite everyone who comes to Dresden to come here. You won't regret it.

From our point of view, the prices are pretty reasonable and the normal kebabs/dürrüm are really the smallest/thinnest you can get in DD. But we're happy to pay the hefty price for the super delicious kebab pizza, which is very tasty and filling. However, we actually have at least one piece of cartilage in every kebab pizza. But now we're used to it and so it's only minimally annoying. :D

Very popular Turkish restaurant with a wide range of dishes. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come back.

Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. Regular customer for many years and now not anymore. The meat no longer corresponds to my previous good experiences and ideas: limp, not cut and forever long, bitten on a piece of bone and was still extremely thirsty the next day. Furthermore, the (new?) employee was cheeky and presumptuous. I can save myself a trip there in the future. It's really a shame.

When I'm out and about in Plauen, I like to eat at Meliz. It's the best place - the food and drinks are always delicious!

The food is extremely delicious. We come often and are always happy about the excellent food and the friendly service. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine.

Large selection on the menu, pide fantastic, everything tastes fresh, including the salad. The portions are large, the service is nice, and you always get a table so you can eat in peace. Ayran also tastes very good. Recommendation!

Ordered a great kebab to take away for €9.50. Unfortunately I wasn't asked about the sauces and only had herb sauce in the kebab. In terms of taste, I didn't find the kebab to be anything special.

Very very tasty! We are from Munich (they don't know kebab in Munich^^) for us the best kebab we have tried so far here in Dresden! Delicious meat, spicy sauce and the cheese was also super tasty! We'll be back!!!

I'm not a big fan of donner, but this place really has something special going on. I had the best vegetarian durum sandwich ever. Really high quality food for a very fair price. Don't miss their Biergarten on the summertime

I've been a customer here for 16 years and I've never been disappointed. An absolute recommendation in Dresden :)

As always, very tasty. Ate there for the first time all day and I was very positively surprised by the atmosphere. Almost all tables were occupied. Older gentlemen were playing MauMau, another table was celebrating a child's birthday, and I was just there to eat with my dad. It wasn't just out and in like in many "kebab shops" but had a great "pub feeling". In addition, the food was delicious, served quickly and the lady who served us was very friendly. You really feel comfortable there.

I've been eating kebab here since I was a little child. This is by far the most beautiful and stylish kebab shop I know in Dresden or anywhere. Unfortunately I have to say that the kebab (and only the kebab) has lost a lot of flavor and I no longer want to pay the price. I don't know anything about the rest of the food, 5 stars for everything else but unfortunately the kebab is no longer what it used to be (more sauce would help)

Doner kebab and Dürum: unfortunately I was disappointed, very liquid sauces and little taste, the kebab meat was also crispy enough for me. Lahmacun plate (see picture): I found it very tasty. The meat could have used a little more heat and it could have been a little more, but still tasty. The Lahmacun bread was very good. Salad also very fresh. As before, the sauces were too runny for me. Still a nice shop and I would come again, priced on a par with the other kebab shops here in Dresden.

Greetings :) I come from beautiful Freiberg and like to test kebab all over Germany. What do I say about the kebab? Ambience etc. absolutely great, rarely seen!!!! It could be that other dishes are great, but a classic kebab? With the resonances? I don't understand it... in my opinion it was a bad standard kebab... nothing, absolutely nothing was good about this kebab! It's a shame and definitely has more potential. It's a shame really.

After an eventful day in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, we were in the mood for a really good kebab on the way home. I asked Google and headed for the “best kebab in Dresden” called Meliz. The atmosphere was great and the staff, especially the boss, were really very friendly. But then we were really impressed Food disappointed. With a kebab plate for €14.50 you expect an oriental delicacy. What we got tasted good and was of okay quality, but absolutely standard, if not a little below it. Meat and sauces were hardly seasoned. With our provincial kebab, people always ask whether you want herbs, garlic or hot sauce. We weren't even asked the question at Meliz. The kebab plate came with a light sauce with a dollop of ketchup-like sauce. In hindsight we are really disappointed. Especially because the ambience is so nice. Conclusion: Standard performance, princely prices.

I am a passionate eater of Turkish dishes. Today I was in Meliz Palace for the first time. I'm thrilled! I can now understand why the hype is so big. Ambience, service and taste is first class. If I come to Dresden again, I have to come by here again.

I don't quite understand how this can be the best kebab in Dresden. It's just a normal standard kebab and nothing special and the sauces were very messy. Bread was completely open at the bottom and you couldn't eat the kebab in your hand
