The food tastes good, but you have to wait 10 minutes for your kebab before you can take it with you. The employees are friendly and nice but sometimes a bit annoyed.

Very detailed menu and very good dishes; courteous and quick service. The place offers several tables, both inside and outside, and is very clean. The reputation as the best kebab in Dresden seems well deserved to me.

I don't quite understand how this can be the best kebab in Dresden. It's just a normal standard kebab and nothing special and the sauces were very messy. Bread was completely open at the bottom and you couldn't eat the kebab in your hand

€8.50 for a Dürüm that tastes like nothing. The thing didn't taste like anything!! And then there was the disgusting chicken meat, burnt and tough. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Good standard kebab - Arbitrary prices The kebab is made from minced meat. Tasty and good quality, even fried vegetables to choose from. Sauces are run of the mill and can't keep up with the Berlin style. You can say really a good standard kebab. Where the food gets stuck in your throat is the price. 12€ for a Dürüm with cheese and grilled vegetables...it's obviously not worth it. With all understanding for inflation, rising food prices, etc., the customer is being skimmed off to the maximum here. I've never heard of €2 for 3 spoons of cheese before.

The beer garden in the back yard is much larger than expected and totally stylish. I had a Texas kebab here, which was also absolutely delicious.

Great find. We were staying locally for the night. We sat in the garden to the rear which would highly recommend if weather permits. 25 euros approx for x2 large beers and x2 mains. Staff very friendly and spoke English.

The Meliz Döner in Dresden is simply fantastic! From the warm welcome to the last bite, my visit was an absolute pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting, the cleanliness was impressive and the staff was incredibly friendly. Despite the large number of customers, everything was extremely orderly and structured. Every bite of the kebab was a feast for my taste buds, with fresh vegetables, tender meat and the perfect amount of spicy sauce. I can recommend the Meliz kebab to everyone!

Some reviews here are not fair and not very realistic. I've been a guest at this restaurant for over 5 years and very regularly, even though I don't even live in this part of town. The overall selection of dishes is large and the alternatives to meat dishes are impressive. Since I like to feast on everything from the menu, I didn't notice any differences in the quality of the food during my time here. They played through the “Kebab Level” once. Add to that the ambience! Very cozy, with a lot of space inside and in the garden. For a kebab shop, it's pretty much the only kebab shop in Dresden that I know and appreciate. Regarding the prices, I have to say that this quality has to be financed somehow. Regardless, things have never been overly expensive here. For me, normal prices at this standard. And yes, things are currently getting more expensive across the entire catering industry. Conclusion: Whether you are a “native” Dresdener or visiting, Meliz is a good alternative to eating… if there is no room in the 5-star restaurant 😉 Have a good meal

My regular kebab for years... unfortunately no longer recommended. Requests are no longer taken into account (allergy) and far too dry, despite the fact that you say a lot of sauce, what a shame!

How can you slack off like that? The large kebab plate was as big as the small ones elsewhere. "A little more onion" was the part of half an onion ring. The bread was missing. My cheese slices are almost thicker than the kebab. On the vegetarian plate you could look for the salad. The sauce was missing from the kebab box. And at 20% higher prices than in the surrounding area. It's no use if it happens relatively quickly. Not again so soon!

Very disappointing. I had the worst kebab in a long time. Little content and no sauce. This store has gone extremely slack. Only the prices have increased.

When we visit home in Dresden, Meliz kebab is a must. A very great atmosphere, cozy, the selection is huge and delicious. Prices are ok, kebabs are becoming more expensive everywhere. Reservation online works, but you don't get a confirmation.

Our regular restaurant for over 10 years. Doner kebab is great, pizza too and super tasty pide. We always receive a friendly welcome, we now know each other and enjoy chatting together. When I come into the store and the staff already knows what I want to order, it always feels like home. For me it's not a snack bar, but really a kebab restaurant where we like to spend the evening with friends. Prices aren't super cheap, but how can that work with fresh ingredients? I therefore find the price level more than reasonable. Anyone who complains about the prices should ask themselves where else in the restaurant you can get a delicious main course for 7-12 euros that is fresh and will fill you up. Dear Baris, dear Halil: we always feel comfortable with you and your team and will continue to come to you in the future. We are already looking forward to the coming beer garden season!

It's not without reason that it's the best kebab restaurant in the city. Super nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. Table booking is absolute recommended! By phone or online it usually works well (that's why service is only 4⭐️), waiting time for ordering and picking up on site is 5-15 minutes. always worth it! Once a week is mandatory! We are already waiting for the beautiful beer garden to finally open! Kind regards from the neighbor!

After this kebab shop was voted the best kebab in Dresden last year and I was in the area, I wanted to test whether it lived up to the award. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely sobering. For me an absolute standard kebab. No special ingredients or sauces. Bread is also standard. I only got one sauce and it tasted extremely garlicky. I have no idea whether there were other sauces or whether you only get the kebab with one sauce? Salad was fresh and the meat was well seasoned but everything was at a normal level. The employees showed a minimum of friendliness and were quite taciturn. Only the ambience was quite convincing. Very nice and somewhat rustic furnishings. Seems very cozy and despite it being lunchtime, all the tables were clean. Overall, absolutely not recommended, as nothing goes beyond mediocre. At "Aslan" or "Planet Bistro" you get much more (homemade sauces that are not standard, home-baked bread or less used salads such as white cabbage or rocket). Shows once again that many Dresdeners are more than satisfied with an ordinary kebab...

Doner kebab style rotisserie says it all. If you are used to the kebab in Berlin, then it is really difficult to find the kebab here. The meat could be of better quality (at least proper doner kebab). Taste ok.

Unfortunately, the kebab bread was very soggy and unroasted. But the content was tasty and there was a lot of halloumi, and the service was very quick (probably because it saved time for toasting the bread)

Doner now costs €7.00, Dürüm costs €8.50. Stately prices. Unfortunately the taste is no longer that convincing. More like 08/15.

I don't understand how the positive reviews come about. Bread not toasted, meat cold, and not crispy. Sauces taste like nothing, service is subpar. Cheap minced meat, not layered, unfortunately normal in Dresden. Herbs not used, just at the counter. But the crowning glory is the price. The cutting machine pays, not the product.

Great place for families or couples. I highly recommend the vegetarian dishes and everything is good to share, so be brave for new things 😀

The second and last time I got something from this kebab shop. The staff at the counter were not necessarily friendly but rather arrogant. The snack bar itself looks very nice but when I get my kebab to take away I don't get much out of it. The kebab itself was not good. No garlic sauce, stale bread and the chicken didn't taste like anything. These points in combination with the high price result in a 1 star rating. I wouldn't recommend the store!!!

Unfortunately the waitress wasn't able to explain the allergens properly. Unfortunately, this is quite unfavorable for life-threatening allergies. After a lengthy explanation, there was neither a word of apology nor any accommodation. The full price also had to be paid. Meliz, you supposedly have Dresden's best kebab, but that's an absolute NO GO! I was here for the last time.

Halloumi dürum is now 10 euros! Normal doner kebab 7 euros. One can also exaggerate. It's not that tasty here either.

I don't understand what's so special about this kebab. The veal skewer is cheaply made from minced beef. No breathtaking sauces and other things were meager for the price. But the conditions were nice and the restaurant itself also looks nice. Still, I find it strange that it gives a diner feel but you are served like a restaurant...I won't be back

Was there on 01/27/24 around 8:30 p.m. Ordered a vegetable dürüm and a beer. Since there was no interest in further sales after consumption (waited 15 minutes), I went to the checkout and, after a brief lack of interest from the staff, was finally allowed to pay €14.50 (!!). Despite the tip, the departure was also without a word or greeting, as the gentlemen were obviously busy with other things than, for example, guests. That used to be much better! I missed the gold rim on the beer glass a little...

Sensationell. Wer gern Döner ist, und keinen 0815 zusammengeschossenen Döner mehr möchte, geht zu Meliz! Lecker lecker lecker!

Hier ist das Pide besonders zu empfehlen, sehr fluffig und lecker. Wer es salzig mag nimmt Pide mit Käse. Es sind alle lecker! Sie sind super schnell, wenn man zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Spitzen Essen und eine große Auswahl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen wird sehr schnell gebracht. Man wird zu einem Tisch geleitet und von der Bedienung werden, auf einem Zettel, alle Bestellungen notiert. Am Ende geht man und bezahlt mit Abgabe des Zettels. Ein Absacker ist auch mit drin. Wer zur Primetime kommt sollte bessere telefonisch reservieren.

Znam kebaba od roku 2007. Ciągle się rozwijają i miło upływu czasu jakoś nie spada. Zawsze smacznie świeżo. Gorąco polecam najlepszy kebab na świecie.

My experience at Meliz Döner Kebab House was extremely disappointing. As tourists, we were provided with an English menu that displayed lower prices, but when the bill arrived, we were shocked to find an extra 3 euros added to each dish. When we questioned the staff about this discrepancy, they not only refused to rectify the situation but also displayed a complete lack of accountability. It felt like they were intentionally cheating us, and the customer service was unacceptable.

We got 2 menus, one in English and one in German. We choose the products based on English memu but the prices they calculated are based on German prices. We were not informed about this in advance. Another point, i got a Mexican type doner but it was with too much sauce. It did not test well with much sauce. Overall, maybe they have a good menu, but our experience was bad.

Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten da wir auch voll außerhalb kamen und spontan hingefahren sind haben wir einen Platz gekriegt sonst immer mit Reservierung

Als ich 2016 nach Plauen gezogen bin, hat mir der Meliz Döner richtig gut geschmeckt. Ich wohne inzwischen nicht mehr in der Nähe aber heute dachte ich, ich wage es mal wieder. Ich habe einen Döner mit Käse zum mitnehmen bestellt, "Salat, Soße, alles?" Ja bitte unbedingt. Warten musste ich nicht lange, schon mal top. Zu Hause der erste Biss in den Döner - Ernüchterung.... Das Brot war nicht wirklich gebacken sondern weich, es war nur grüner Salat und Zwiebel drinnen, keine Tomaten, keine Gurken, nur ein Hauch von Rotkrautsalat... Schade :( Ich erwarte ja keine Zauberei aber die Basics an Gemüse wären schön gewesen für einen 7,50€ Döner.

Eine Frechheit, Das Fleisch ist nicht mal mehr warm, die Pommes sind labbrig und die Sauce ungenießbar. Schade!

Ich war hier mit mehreren Kollegen. Die Servicekraft war sehr nett. Das Essen kam schnell und war lecker. Nur das Parken ist nicht ganz so einfach vor Ort, aber dafür kann das Geschäft nichts. Klare Weiterempfehlung von mir.

Nachdem ich dreimal sagte wenig Soße haben die extra nochmal Soße drauf gemacht! Und der Höhepunkt ich habe mir ein Getränk aus dem Kühlschrank genommen kam nach 2 Minuten ein Mitarbeiter zu mir ob ich dort essen möchte oder das Essen mitnehmen möchte ich sagte ich esse hier der Kollege Mitarbeiter meinte dann ich soll ein Getränk im Glas bestellen anstatt aus der Flasche angeblich sein die Flaschen nur zum Mitnehmen gedacht und ich soll es zurück stellen ich habe noch gefragt ob es verboten sei er meinte zu mir ja! Und ich bin dann direkt rein und habe gesagt das ich mir die Flasche nehm zum Trinken und der Mitarbeiter sagte zu mir dann ich soll Glas bestellen mit wo das Getränk drin sei ich meinte nur ok dann gibt mir ein Glas kein Problem ich Füll selber ein er meinte dann nur nein das geht nicht 🤣 was für eine Logik!

Schon viele Jahre Kunde in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist Klasse und die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich. Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt.

Sehr guter Dönerladen. Die Auswahl ist sehr gut, das Personal freundlich und die Speisen in der Regel sehr gut. Ob das der beste Döner Dresdens ist, sollte sicherlich jeder für sich entscheiden. Aber er ist sehr gut.

Waren Sonntag spät abends bei dem döner. Konnten zügig bestellen und das essen kam auch schnell. Portion sehr groß und der Preis auch gut. Geschmacklich sehr lecker. Auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert.
