Very good cuisine, both sushi and the other main dishes, e.g. B. the duck. Well prepared and way better than the to-go version of sushi in the supermarket. The good selection of drinks - both wine and specialties/spirits - also offers a few delicacies outside the mainstream. Tea was made with fresh mint. The ambience is reduced, but not uncomfortable, everything is quite harmonious. Since it is usually quite full, the acoustics are appropriate. So maybe not the best choice for a first date, but otherwise absolutely recommended.

I used to be a regular until the service started to decline over time. Yesterday I gave it another chance. Despite having a reservation, we waited at the door for 45 minutes. The food came quite quickly, but otherwise the service was very poor. The employees are very friendly, but it takes ages until someone comes to the table. Empty drinks. Cheap soy sauce (you should pay attention to little things like that when it comes to prices). Unfortunately, that's why I didn't give a tip. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and stylishly furnished. There is nothing special in terms of taste. Unfortunately this time it was the last visit for me.

So I've been eating at Meiwei for a long time. But I recently noticed for the first time that I have the feeling that Meiwei has slacked off a bit. It all seemed very careless and slapdash. It didn't taste fresh at all and didn't seem as clean as usual. I hope it was just a slip-up. I hope Mewei doesn't rest too much on her previous good reputation.

Unfortunately, the taste of the food today didn't impress me at all. Neither our sushi nor the noodles were tasty.

Had some sushi with my boys today. The ambience is kept very clean and appears well maintained. The waitress was stressed but that was understandable, but she still did her job very well. The quality of the food was bombeeee! First classic sushi and starters! Definitely worth a visit if you want something decent to eat and your wallet isn't too empty.

It's a shame, the food itself wasn't bad, except for the fact that my daughter had diarrhea after the sushi. But the taste was great. What unfortunately didn't work at all was the service: They were nice and friendly, but they couldn't be bothered to serve us at all and when you ordered something, for example a glass of wine, it took over half an hour and you ended up getting it yourself. The bowls for soy sauce for the sushi were also not brought. Too bad. In the end, two out of six people got their food more or less straight away and everyone else had to wait and then it happened little by little so eating together unfortunately didn't happen

Noodles were more than meat, i have to pack it home, it tasted good but lacked the sauce somehow... so come to a point, it was quite bored.. My friends liked his Chicken-rice dish. So it was fine! Drinks : Maracuja-Minze and Mojito. Both were nice and refreshing! (Still the leaves were a little brown) The service woman was fast with coming and cleaning stuff away, but she didn't care so much to ask if we still needed anything. And she left also fast. Outside sitting is better than inside, way more fresh and cooler. Pretty good vibe! Prices (2P): ~40€

The employees are very unfriendly. For the money you spend here you won't be treated nearly nice. The food tastes good but if there is a lack of friendliness then you just don't want to waste any money on it. Especially not considering the prices, a portion of pasta with chicken costs 15 euros. Summary: Serviceable sushi underground service. A group of 8 people had been ordering for almost an hour now, 2 people received their dishes (warm) about 20 minutes ago and are ready. The rest is still waiting. The advice that it's not good if you wait so long and then the dishes come separately was answered with the advice that you don't have to come next time. We definitely won't be coming back

Underground! We were there with 8 people, 2 of whom received their food after about 20 minutes. The remaining 6 people only got their food after the first two were completely finished. To my comment that unfortunately that didn't go well, the waitress told us to just not come back. And neither will we!

You can get really tasty and authentic sushi here at fair prices! The lunch specials are definitely worth seeing and are reasonably priced. The sushi is freshly prepared and the service was very friendly and quick. I would definitely come back and try something else on the menu☺️

The quality and taste of the food has deteriorated significantly, and the success of the "SushiLadenausBielefeld" is probably having too much of an effect on the bosses' wallets. It's better to go back to the roots and focus on food and quality. For now we will boycott the store because the food is simply not good. This was our second time at this restaurant after our first experience a year ago was very satisfactory. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time. Although we arrived as a group of four, the food was served at different times which detracted from the experience. The taste of the food was okay, but nothing special. Overall it was not a satisfactory visit.

Today I was with my friends on recommendation in their restaurant for lunch. Although we had reserved at the front, we were offered a table at the back in the garden, which was very pleasant given the warmth today. It wasn't very crowded. The menu looked very promising and we quickly found something, including delicious homemade drinks. The food came quickly and the drinks were a bit slow. We chose 2 delicious dishes from the daily menu and one dish from the normal menu. Everything tasted excellent. I was thrilled 🤩. That wasn't my last visit with you. Everything worked out… wonderful 🥳

I used to go there at least once almost every week. The quality has decreased significantly in the last 2 years. I gave the store 3 more chances and was disappointed every time. The sushi falls completely apart every time and is no longer cut properly. It's just thrown in messily. You can't eat with chopsticks because everything falls apart. The sushi tastes like nothing, the salmon is also tasteless, the cucumbers are not fresh. For 4 portions you get a mini portion of ginger and wasabi (it used to always be in great portions!) and you also save a lot on the soy sauce and the sticks. That's really a pity! Today I had one last chance but €75 ended up in the trash because everything fell apart and in the end you just had a mess. On the phone they said “no one has complained today”. Dear Meiwei team, it's better to take fewer orders and make your food with love again!! Many of my friends don't come anymore because it just doesn't taste good!

The cook came to meet me in the toilet (Saturday April 27, 2024 at 3 p.m. Blue shirt on) without washing his hands. When I said that washing his hands was probably not necessary, he came back and washed his hands with WATER without soap. We lost everything then. Afterwards our food and glasses are touched. I have never experienced anything like it. The service sits around and smacks their lips, looks at their cell phones and eats themselves. The chewing noises and eating manners are the last thing. Completely unprofessional. The store just above the counter was full of trash and dirty dishes. The food wasn't good, sushi just tasted like fish (veggie). The noodles extremely like metal or pan. But really a strange aftertaste. Nice and loving service looks different.

Die Bedienung war wirklich unterirdisch. Meine Freundin hatte Gemüse, Reis und Hähnchen bestellt, ich Gemüse, Reis und zusätzlich Tofu. Letztendlich hatte meine Freundin auf ihrem Hähnchengericht meinen Tofu. Nachdem wir darauf hingewiesen haben, wurden wir dazu angehalten den Tofu einfach auf meinen Teller rüberzureichen…. Die Portion Reis würden wir auf 70 Gramm schätzen, für 17€ ist die Portionsgröße nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Essen war so salzig, sodass wir es nicht essen konnten. Nachdem wir auch darauf hingewiesen haben, hatten die Mitarbeiter lediglich 50% Nachlass erlassen. Wir kommen nicht wieder!

The service was really substandard. My girlfriend ordered vegetables, rice and chicken, I ordered vegetables, rice and also tofu. My friend ended up having my tofu on her chicken dish. After we pointed this out, we were encouraged to simply pass the tofu over to my plate... We would estimate the portion of rice to be 70 grams, but for €17 the portion size is not justified. The food was so salty that we couldn't eat it. After we pointed this out, the employees only gave away a 50% discount. We won't be coming back!

We were there on March 21st. a guest at Meiwei. It was very well attended. The tables are very close together, making it cramped. The rooms are high and the walls are bare, so it echoes and is loud. As a result, we found the atmosphere uncomfortable. The service tried hard but was actually unfriendly and uninterested in us. Unfortunately, two of the three meals we ordered were too salty. The rice portion was puny. The drinks were simple in view of the ambience and comparatively expensive. We won't be going there again.

On Sunday, March 17th, I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend between 12 and 1 p.m. When we arrived we politely asked a lady working there if we could sit at the back of the restaurant. Unfortunately her response was quite unfriendly, she said something like "Can't you see I'm alone? I have a lot to do, sit at the front". This initial response created a bad mood from the start. Then, when my friend ordered a fork and knife, the lady barely seemed to hear her and left her to speak alone. When she finally brought the cutlery, she did so reluctantly and threw it on the table. When ordering, I clearly described to the lady the dishes I wanted and pointed to the pictures on the menu for clarity. Still, when she brought the drinks we were surprised that she brought us a large Fanta, even though we never asked for the large version. In addition, the price of €3.50 for a 200 ml apple juice glass seemed excessively expensive to us. However, the worst happened when the lady brought my order. I started to eat but noticed that my friend's food had not been served. When I asked about it, the lady told me that it was on the same plate, which was not true. There were only some very small rice rolls on my plate, which were obviously not what I had ordered for my partner. The lady had obviously made a mistake, but instead of apologizing, she scolded me for eating a few of those rice rolls, thinking they were intended for my partner. To make things worse, she left the table with a very negative attitude and spoke in Japanese from the start. After this unpleasant experience, I definitely don't plan on visiting this restaurant again.

It's just an Asian fusion restaurant. Sometimes I forget this and am totally disappointed with the sushi. Price and performance really don't match. The other dishes seem to be better.

If you want to eat Japanese food, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here. The sashimi was very small and thinly sliced. Completely covered with sweet sauce. That is not how it works. The nigiri were ok, but also very small. I think over €80 for 2 people for sashimi, 2x sushi and dumplings is really expensive. It's a shame, that used to be better.

The horror from the Far East. Anyone who dines in this place and thinks that it is authentic Asian food is probably more likely to frequent fast food temples. Already in the entrance area of ​​the shabby and slightly dingy dining room you come across complaining guests who were parked at the barren bar despite having a reservation. The grumpy, rushed and overwhelmed servants run back and forth confused like frightened chickens. There is a musty smell of plastic furniture and sweat in the dining room because there is not enough space for the customers who are crammed together. After an unfriendly waitress assigned us to an uncomfortable and dirty corner table, we waited 30 minutes for stale beer and lousy room temperature white wine. The menus look like those at the trashy Asian restaurant in the shopping center and the illustrations have little in common with what is served. Duck is stringy and hard, sushi tastes like it came from the freezer. The frass tastes like glutamate and franchise kit. The udon noodles were overcooked and too salty. Basically, starters and main courses seem to be served in a mixed bag and criticism is met with evil looks. The prices are a disgrace anyway for what is on offer. The store is busy for some unknown reason. This is probably due to the undemanding Bielefeld provincial student audience. For fans of fine Asian cuisine, a visit to this restaurant is like a taste revelation.

Ambiente: Man fühlt sich etwas wie in einem Hühnerstall. Die Tische und Stühle stehen alle sehr dicht an einander, um das Maximum aus der Ladenfläche zu holen. Dadurch ist es eher laut und und ungemütlich. Überhaupt ist der Laden vom Design her eher clean und wenig detailverliebt gestaltet. Essen: Beim Sushi passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Es sieht jedoch besser aus, als es schmeckt - leider eher fade. Mein Wolfsbarsch war über gart. Da ich jedoch bereits über eine Stunde darauf gewartet hatte, habe ich ihn nicht zurück gehen lassen. Das Essen an sich kam leider nicht zeitgleich für alle Gäste am Tisch, sondern nochmals 30 min Zeit versetzt. Auf das Sushi haben wir tatsächlich deutlich über 1 Stunde gewartet. Für die Gäste am Tisch, die nur Sushi bestellt hatten, war es entsprechend mies. Achja die Udon Nudeln meiner Frau waren gut. Service: Dadurch das der Laden randvoll war, wirkte die Bedienung sehr gehetzt und die Gastfreundschaft blieb aus. Wir warteten 40 Minuten auf unsere Getränke, obwohl wir zwischendurch nachhakten. Ein Entgegenkommen, oder eine wirkliche Entschuldigung für die langen Wartezeiten für Essen und Getränke gab es nicht. Fazit: Wer günstiges Sushi in mittlerer Qualität haben möchte und dem Service, Ambiente und langes warten egal sind, der wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen.

Das Essen war okay, zu teuer für meinen Geschmack. Was absolut schlecht war, war der Service. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren unfreundlich, die Vorspeise kam nach dem Hauptgericht. Zu einer Suppe haben wir eine Gabel erhalten und zum Bezahlen warteten wir auch min. 20 Minuten. Preis Leistung passte nicht.

Vorspeise kam nach dem Hauptgang und hat insgesamt relativ okay geschmeckt. Es war sehr überrannt und stickig.

Wir haben Meiwei besucht und eine Reservierung vorgenommen, jedoch mussten wir draußen 30 Minuten warten. Drinnen wurden wir an einen Platz gesetzt, an dem bereits ein Käfer über die Bank lief und an einem Bild ein Spinnennetz mit einem weiteren Käfer hing. Wir warteten eine halbe Stunde, ohne dass wir bestellen konnten. Die Atmosphäre war stickig, laut und beengt.

Ein schönes und authentisch-japanisches Restaurant in Bielefeld-Mitte. Unweit des trendigen Lutter-Quartiers bietet das Restaurant Meiwei eine schöne Möglichkeit einen kulinarisch hoch qualitativen Abend mit seinen Freunden und Familienmitgliedern zu verbringen. Wir waren an einem Freitag-Abend da und es war ausnahmslos jeder Platz im Restaurant belegt. Der Biergarten wurde kreativ mit einem Zelt überdeckt und mit Heitzstrahlern ausgestattet. Es war sehr gemütlich und warm, allerdings hat die Atmosphäre ein klein wenig darunter gelitten. Wir mussten aufgrund der hohen Auslastung manchmal etwas warten, bis wir etwas bestellen konnten. Das was bestellt wurde kam nicht gleichzeitig zu uns an den Tisch (auch das Essen). Die Kellner waren allerdings sehr freundlich. Das Essen war unglaublich gut. Wir 4 hatten die Gerichte: 5, 8a, 8b, 105, 122, 90, und b3. Besonders die aromatische meiwei soup mit den dicken Udon-Nudeln und die frischen Sushi Stücke haben uns den ausgelassen Abend vergoldet. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum 3. Mal bei Meiwei und sind jedesmal begeistert! Sowohl die Suppen und Nudeln als auch Sushi und diverse Vorspeisen wurden von uns probiert und allesamt als grandios empfunden! Das Essen ist unglaublich frisch und geschmackvoll. Die Kreation sind außergewöhnlich und entzückend angerichtet. Wir werden immer wieder hier genießen!!

das Essen (Suppe und Suschi) war sehr lecker. Ich würde gerne wieder kommen. Aber man muss einen Tisch vorher reservieren, sonst wird es wohl schwierig, einen Platz zu finden. Das warme Essen hat ein bisschen gedauert, aber das ist normal, wenn es voll ist.

Das Meiwei war ursprünglich ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant, leider wurden wir wiederholt enttäuscht. Die Qualität der warmen Gerichte (Sushi passt immer noch) hat sehr nachgelassen. Dazu die Atmosphäre, erinnert in Teilen ein wenig an ein Schnellrestaurant (bis auf der vordere Gastraum), lassen einfach keine gute Bewertung mehr zu!

Schlimmstes Restaurant Erlebnis bisher: Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort, leider war der Abend eine riesige Enttäuschung. Es war überlaufen und wir haben lange auf unser Essen gewartet. Wir saßen mit 8 Personen im Hinterzimmer an der Heizung und mir ist aufgefallen, dass ein Scharbentier auf der Heizung rumkrabbelte. Als es herunterfiel und ich auf dem Boden danach suchen wollte habe ich eine ganze Scharbentier Versammlung gefunden. Nachdem wir die Mitarbeiter darauf hingewiesen haben, haben sie direkt mit vollem Einsatz versucht die Tiere mit einer Serviette zu beseitigen, was sie nur wiederum mehr aufgeschreckt hat und viele von ihnen in alle Richtungen krabbelten. Ich habe mich dann umgesetzt, konnte den Abend und das Essen jedoch nicht mehr genießen und mich überkam stets Ekel. Wir haben hierfür außerdem keinerlei Entschädigung vom Restaurant erhalten. Das war unser letzter meiwei Besuch.

Das Essen ist mittelmäßig gut, ALLES andere ist überdurchschnittlich schlecht. Wir haben für 7 Personen reserviert, Platz war allerdings nur für 6. Wir mussten uns eigenständig darum kümmern uns an den Tisch zu quetschen, Hilfe oder Lösungen wurde dabei keine angeboten. Der Tisch war dreckig und es gab zu wenig Servietten, das hat sich über den Abend hinweg auch nicht geändert. Nach 30 Minuten wurde dann endlich unsere Bestellung aufgenommen. Als das Sushi dann an kam, war die Hälfte davon nicht das was wir bestellt hatten. Anstelle einer Entschuldigung kam dann eine patzige Frage „ Ist das hier denn nicht auch okay?“ Nach mehrfachen Anmerkungen unsererseits, wurde der Teller dann trotzig weggerissen und wir wurden vertröstet, dass gleich das richtige Essen kommt. Lange Wartezeiten und kein gleichzeitiges Essen waren daher die Folge. Fehler können passieren, aber dann kommt es darauf an wie damit umgegangen wird. Wie die Kunden dort behandelt werden, hat uns schockiert. Schnelle und lieblose Massenabfertigungen. Wir werden dort nie mehr hingehen, das steht fest!

Zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und Lust auf mehr bekommen. Sehr empfehlenswert für Alle, die die asiatische Küche mögen. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich die Nudelsuppe mit Tofu, sehr empfehlenswert! Insgesamt ein gutes Angebot an vegetarischen/veganen Gerichten. Das Sushi sah ebenfalls sehr lecker aus. Ein Stern Abzug weil das Ambiente etwas „einfach“ ist und es sehr laut in dem Raum war.

Enttäuschend… Service unfreundlich.. Essen für Bielefeld okay… da es einfach keine Konkurrenz gibt. In anderen Städten würde kein Gast 2 mal hin gehen!

The food is amazing, there's lots of choice and the temperature of the fish is perfect, you can notice how fresh it is. The very basic food, like the Miso Soup, are just very well done, nothing compared to any other asian restaurants in the area where they are usually lackluster. The only downside is, the tables are very cramped together, and with that many people in a small area, it does get very loud and it's hard to have a conversation. That being said, it's loud because it's popular because... it's good. Would recommend booking a table, it's usually difficult to get a spot otherwise.

Das Sushi war einfach ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend. Vom Sitzen her war es etwas eng und es war so gut besucht, das der Service kaum hinterher gekommen ist. Das hat unseren Besuch aber nicht getrübt.

War dort zum ersten Mal. Würde sagen, eines der besten asiatischen Restaurants in Bielefeld und auch darüber hinaus. Karte mit Spitzenauswahl und schmeckt einfach klasse. Sehr zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal. Der Laden rappelvoll aber keine zu lange Wartezeit. Wir werden zukünftig öfter hingehen

Ich liebe die Hausgemachte Nudeln bei meiwei! Sushi und Co. ist ebenfalls lecker!

Das Ambiente ist in die Jahr gekommen, das Essen ist gut, es bleibt noch Luft nach oben.

HIPSTER SCHUPPEN! Insgesamt macht der Laden einen Kantinen Eindruck, besonders hinten. Speisen haben asiatischen Fastfood Charakter. Tische werden massenweise in den Raum gequetscht, um so viele Gäste unter zu bringen wie möglich. Es kommt kein Ambiente zustande, trotz Buddha Figur, es ist sehr laut und voll! Service ist nicht organisiert, alles auf Zuruf. MAN MERKT, DASS ES HIER UMS KOHLE MACHEN GEHT, NICHT UM DEN GAST - LEIDER SCHADE, POTENTIAL WÄRE VORHANDEN! Wir mussten 15 Minuten warten, trotz Reservierung für 7 Personen. Warteten an der Bar, wurden nicht mal nach Getränken gefragt. Nach 15 Minuten wurden wir an einen 4er (!) Tisch geführt. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten wurden Tische zusammen geschoben und wir konnten uns alle setzen. Es gab nur 3 Speisekarten für 7 Personen, Tische wurden nicht gewischt. Getränke kamen relativ zügig, alle 7 haben gemeinsam essen bestellt, Speisen wurden nach 45 Minuten nur für 2 von uns gebracht, die restlichen Speisen nach weiteren 30 Minuten. Die Ente war ungeniessbar zäh und trocken, Sushi war echt gut. Der Nachtisch des 4 Gänge Menüs wurde erst auf Nachfrage gebracht. Bitte dringend nachbessern - 30% weniger Tische, ordentlicher Service, Tische säubern nach jedem Gast! Dafür zahle ich dann gerne mehr!

Jedzenie jest dobre ale najsłabszy punkt tego miejsc to obsługa . Zawsze chaos. Jeden stolik obsługuje 5 różnych kelnerów , co minutę kto inny przychodzi zapytać co zamawiacie. Dania przychodzą dla każdej osoby w rożnym czasie , przystawki równocześnie z daniem głównym .
