Rarely have we eaten so well in Duisburg! The salmon steak was very tasty, the ground beef steak was well seasoned and the spaghetti aglio e olio had the perfect spiciness. The service staff were also friendly and courteous without being intrusive. The tiramisu was also very tasty. At first I was surprised to see peppermint in it, but in the end it enhanced the taste even more. Will come by again!

We had just come from swimming and were dressed comfortably, basically in sweatpants 😂 No problem at all for this lovely restaurant. We were served very friendly and warmly. The food was very good as usual. Food top Service top Keep it up 👌

I recently visited Mein Stübchen and decided to try the Pizza Havana. It was delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty pizza option.

A nice restaurant right in the pedestrian zone. Super nice and attentive staff. The food was super delicious. There was tortellini with shrimps in a white wine cream sauce, followed by a large cappuccino and crunchy ice cream... Perfect!

Last week we went there for dinner as a family for the first time after friends recommended the place to us. The food was excellent, there was a lot of choice and allergies were taken into account without any problems. The service was top without being intrusive. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

The food was super tasty and a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were left high and dry very quickly. During the main course we were already out of drinks and even after we signaled, no one came to the table. The same when paying. We then put on our jackets which gave us enough attention to pay for our things. It's a shame actually.

I used to really enjoy eating at “Mein Stübchen” in Duisburg, and the delicious rump steaks were a particular highlight. The service was and is always very nice, even when the restaurant is busy. A table reservation is therefore an advantage. The food is fresh and tasty, the side dishes are crunchy and al dente. Unfortunately, there has been a big downer for some time now: the rump steaks, which used to be one of my absolute favorites, are no longer what they once were. Although they are still on the menu, you now only get a lean, slightly streaky piece of meat without the characteristic edge of fat. Apparently because customers want it that way. For me, this argument is incomprehensible, because a rump steak without a fat crust is simply not a rump steak. If you don't like fat, you can simply cut it off or order a fillet steak straight away. This change significantly diminished my enjoyment of “Mein Stübchen”. I used to often come here for the authentic rump steaks, but now I'm missing the appeal. It's a real shame that one of the best dishes has been so changed. Nevertheless, the “Mein Stübchen” remains a nice restaurant with friendly service and good cuisine. But if you're a fan of real rump steaks like me, you'll unfortunately be disappointed here.

Absolutely fresh and above-average food (especially the Pinsa, are highly recommended) in a very nice, stylish atmosphere. The service is professional, super friendly and attentive. If you want to have a really good meal in downtown Duisburg, you should definitely visit this restaurant!

We popped in twice during our visit to Duisburg. We had pizza twice, and both times, it was so tasty. It's great to sit ,eat, and people watch. Great variety of international food , beer, and wine. Friendly staff.

Visited for a beer and wine while staying nearby. Friendly welcoming young server took our drinks order, we sat outside and people watched. Fancied some food to share so ordered a Salami Pizza, it was piping hot and delicious. Wine was also very nice, bottle of Faustino Rivero at €18 was a very reasonable price to pay. On our return visit we were greeted with a friendly smile from a very nice server who had served us the day before. This time, we shared a Grecia pizza, feta cheese, olives, and spinach, again delicious and very enjoyable. Inside is luvly with wooden carvings, wall decorations and chandelier type lighting, its very spacious and welcoming. We really njoyed both our visits, the pasta dishes we saw being served also looked delicious. Worth a visit. :) :)

Good and tasty. I was there a few times during the year. And nothing has changed. The food remains good and is delicious. It is definitely worth a visit.

A quick and friendly service. With a large terrace in the pedestrian zone. The ambience outside is simple and modern. The food was good, but the ingredients could have been cut smaller. Pasta Milano tasted great. A balanced menu with good value for money.

For me it is the best address in downtown Duisburg to have a delicious meal in a cozy restaurant.

I particularly enjoy visiting the restaurant “mein Stübchen” to celebrate my birthday there with my family (over 10 people). Everything just fits here. Be it the reliability of the reservation, which also fulfills all my special requests, to the dishes that are always very tasty and also enough to fill you up without it being too much. Here I can warmly recommend the “Tortellini con Filet” or the “Salmon Steak”. In addition, the ambience is good and the decoration has been updated from time to time in recent years. Finally, I can only say that I am already looking forward to my next visit and would like to thank you again for the great service.

After having eaten here more than twenty times with three colleagues, we are still more than satisfied, delicious meals, sweet service, a top, TOP restaurant for incredibly low prices. If you are a fan of football and good food, be sure to drop by here for a snack and a juice,… say Ollie sent you and maybe the boss will give you a juice! Really honest, delicious food for little money!!!

The food was really good and is recommended. There were five of us there, we had reserved and got the table right at the entrance - not that great. Bringing a dog wasn't a problem; if it stays under the table - directly the entrance. The service was initially quite reserved when asked about seating - but then became friendly as it progressed. Just remember how it started. As I said, the food was good; I personally wasn't impressed by the ambience and service.

Chic restaurant in Duisburg city center with a beautiful outdoor area. The food was very good (pepper minced steak and penne Thai), the service was slow at first, but when it came it was good. This is probably due to the general personnel situation. However, if you have a little time, this restaurant is definitely recommended. Price/performance ratio is appropriate.

We come from near Cologne and have met friends here for the second time. The food is super tasty and very plentiful. The staff are very friendly and are happy to accommodate all requests. It's a shame we live so far away.

I had a salad, which was perfectly acceptable. Salad accompanied by a glass of Riesling. Then 1 second. The wine was ok but turned out to be more expensive than expected. The terrace is pleasant, has very pleasant covers.

Located in the middle of Duisburg's pedestrian zone (not far from the historic town hall), 'Mein Stübchen' offers the opportunity to take a relaxed break for lunch or dinner. You sit quietly and comfortably. The menu offers a diverse selection of pasta, pizza, steaks and home-style food. Fair prices, the daily specials and the 'quick plate' are also interesting. Friendly staff and fast service.

At 8:45 p.m. it is rudely pointed out that the restaurant is closing. According to the opening times it is open until 10 p.m. This situation has happened 4 times and the waitress was always male.

Ich war überrascht so ein gutes Restaurant in der Duisburger Fußgängerzone zu finden. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, der Service ist wirklich gut und die Speisen haben auch überzeugt. Die Preise fand ich angemessen. Ganz klare Empfehlung. Nur bitte aufpassen, der Eingang ist von der Fußgängerzone aus zu erreichen, das wurde in google Maps falsch dargestellt.

Der Vorspeisenteller für Zwei Personen war lecker - auch das selbstgebackene Brot dazu. Es war uns zu viel Carpacio im Verhältnis zu den anderen Komponenten - z.B. lieber mehr Tomate Mozzarella und Oliven. Der Aufenthalt hat uns ansonsten gut gefallen.

Wir hatten heute eine Reservierung für 11 Damen im „Mein Stübchen“ für 15 Uhr. Wir haben das Restaurant 10 Minuten vor Reservierung betreten und den Kellnern höflich mitgeteilt, dass wir eine Reservierung für 15 Uhr haben. Daraufhin folgte die Aussage „Ja aber wir haben ja noch nicht 15 Uhr“. 10 Minuten vorher eine solche Aussage zu treffen fanden wir unpassend. Zumal das Restaurant bereits geöffnet war und außer uns nur zwei Tische besetzt waren. An unserem Tisch war ein Stuhl zu wenig und eine unserer Damen hat sich einen Stuhl dazu gezogen. Daraufhin folgte die Aussage durch den Kellner „Das soll jetzt nicht so sein“. Getränke und Speisen wurden schnell aufgenommen. Die Getränke wurden schnell serviert. Die bestellte Apfelschorle war nichts als Sprudelwasser mit einem Hauch von Apfelsaft und der Aperol Spritz war einfach nur mit Wasser verdünnt. Nach der ersten Bestellung wurden wir auch nicht mehr nach weiteren Getränken gefragt. Auf unseren Wunsch etwas Parmesan, Schärfe und Knoblauchöl zu den Speisen zu haben wurden uns zwei Mail 3 Euro dafür berechnet. (Wir waren bereits im Oktober 2023 dort essen und zu dem Zeitpunkt war es kostenlos) Daher einen Stern auch weniger. Auch wenn das Essen sehr lecker war, haben wir uns sehr unwohl gefühlt. Wir saßen im Restaurant etwas über einer Stunde, waren eine ruhige Gruppe ohne andere Gäste zu stören oder sonst etwas und waren wirklich froh, als wir raus aus dem Restaurant waren. Durch die Belegschaft des Restaurants wurde uns klar und deutlich gezeigt, dass wir unerwünscht waren. Daher haben wir beschlossen, nicht nochmal das „Mein Stübchen“ zu besuchen.

ACHTUNG: Eingang wird bei Google falsch gezeigt! Eingang von Kuhstrasse!!!!! Wir sind durch Zufall hier "gelandet" und sind sehr begeistert. Tolles Ambiente, toller, netter Service und unser Essen war auch super! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Von aussen wirkt es sehr klein und unscheinbar, aber wenn man rein geht ist es riesig. Der Service ist top und seht freundlich. Das Essen selber ist super lecker und frisch zubereitet.

Wow, unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort... 20 Personen, alle 100% zufrieden, einer war mit der Zusammenstellung des cocktails nicht zufrieden:-) sonst fantastisch... Essen traumhaft die alle... trotz der vielen Gäste, nette, tolle Mitarbeiter... Kommen wieder, versprochen 😀

Wir waren am Samstag zu 7 im Stübchen Essen, zum ersten Mal. Es war Super, meine Kollegen und ich waren begeistert vom Essen, und vor allem vom Service Personal. Wenn wir wieder in Duisburg sind kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Super leckeres Essen. Ich komme gern wieder. Wir waren auch mit der Firma zur Weihnachtsfeier hier. Alle waren zufrieden. Gern nächstes Jahr erneut.

War ein sehr schöner Abend für ein Familientreffen. Wir saßen draußen im Pavillion mit Heizstrahlern mitten im Weihnachtsmarkt. Der Service war super und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Alle sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Essen hat uns allen, wir waren mit 15 Personen, sehr gut geschmeckt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.
