NEVER AGAIN!!! Unfortunately, I only had to find out from the review that the owner had changed. I had dinner there with my girlfriend on Saturday evening. The food looked good and tasted good too. 4 hours later my friend started having extreme stomach cramps and nausea. I suffered the same thing a little later. Later vomiting and diarrhea that lasted the whole night. End of song: we both had food poisoning. My girlfriend got through it relatively well, but since I was already suffering from a flu infection, I ended up in the hospital that night. We both had a kebab plate with fries and salad. Nobody knows what the cause is, but I don't need this experience again. I used to enjoy going to Medo, but now I'll give it a wide berth.

Ate there for the umpteenth time. Always a big recommendation when things have to go “quickly”!

Got a pizza there yesterday. I was surprised at the completely different employees, apparently there was a change of operator there. According to one of the employees, it was clear that I wanted hollandaise sauce on the pizza INSTEAD of garlic. For the same price, of course. The other person who cashed in later suddenly charged me an additional 1.50 euros for the additional hollandaise sauce. I then explained again that I had forgone garlic for this, so there was no additional ingredient, but a swap. I was then made to believe that you couldn't compare garlic with hollandaise sauce. Do you think people are stupid or something? A portion of hollandaise is certainly no more expensive to buy than a portion of garlic. They didn't want to accept it there and I had to pay an additional 1.50 euros. Well, you've now earned money from me, but from now on you'll have one less customer if you think you have to calculate like that. The pizza tasted okay, but considering that it had pepperoni on it and was supposed to be spicy, it wasn't even spicy.

We hadn't ordered from MEDO for a long time, but we were hungry for kebab the delivery (3 different kebab dishes) came promptly | but we were very disappointed | the meat was very gristly and so we threw half away | Now we know again why we didn't order there anymore... what a shame!

Ordered there for the first time today and also the last time. Side salad for the schnitzel was missing, the schnitzel and fries were cold and another salad that was ordered was wrong, i.e. not the one that was ordered.

Medo is simply great, the food is very good as is the service. The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. Even if a small mistake happens, we are all human, it can happen, then you don't have to leave an unnecessary review in an unfriendly way. Normal feedback works too. Medo has been just great here!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered food and when the delivery person arrived he pocketed 10 euros from us and claimed that we had to pay that amount again. This is simply unacceptable! The quality of service was unprofessional and I feel cheated. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will definitely not come back.

We have pre-ordered food. For The phone call took 5 minutes to get a kebab plate and a pizza. We were told “ready in 5 minutes”. It took us 10 minutes to get there. I've been standing for 20 years now Minutes here. And still waiting. It's the most outrageous thing Stealing people's time. And I find that an absolute disgrace. Instead of saying honestly That it takes longer.

Today we ordered kebab home... I grew up with Medo. I've eaten my kebab there since I was a child and have always relied on it, but today I immediately noticed that it tastes different somehow... The meat has a different consistency, no taste anymore, it's apparently mainly just pressed fat and cartilage. .. there was also something hard in the meat (bones?) in the kebab bag. Other kebab bags. Unfinished fries... I'm really shocked. For 20 years I've always eaten my kebab there as a matter of course and suddenly it's different... and it just tastes disgusting... unfortunately it ended up in the trash... I hope @Medo reads this and changes something quickly... So I don't eat there anymore, I'm waiting for feedback on whether the conditions are improving again.

The employee didn't understand the order (2 kebab bags with 1x extra kebab to get over €15) and then the hammer came, with the words "I'm not interested in that, order somewhere else" he simply hung up !!!!

I ordered a pasta casserole with sujuk and gratinated The noodles weren't cooked through and the cream tasted very sour And the pizza rolls were burnt

“Hunger drives it in.” Due to the lack of alternatives in the region, I tested the kebab at Medo in Overath today. Not an upset stomach, but not tasty either. Ready-made bread from the toaster, cheap pressed meat from the minced skewer where you don't know what's in it, loveless sauces and no red cabbage. From €7 upwards, customers are now used to steak meat, fresh homemade bread and their own sauces with grilled vegetables, sheep's cheese, fresh lemon and parsley. Conclusion: not recommended!

After 6 years we gave another chance that we could have saved ourselves. Got old rancid fries. A kebab that tasted totally disgusting. Sauce that tasted totally sour, like it was bad. And on top of that, poor and unfriendly conditions. _________ Doner plate is way too expensive and doesn't taste good. The salad sauce is not edible. I haven't tried the other dishes yet

A huge thank you to the Medo team! It saved us today! After my caterer was canceled on the day of the event, a replacement was urgently needed. The Medo team conjured up delicious food for 50 people within an hour and even delivered it!! Absolutely friendly and competent! Thank you again!

Medo used to be so good. I really enjoyed eating there. I don't know what happened, but I find €7 for a kebab really hard. Apart from that, it doesn't taste good anymore either. Hardly any sauce and half meat half vegetables. But it's so disgustingly stuffed in and there's little sauce and it tastes like water. I'm very disappointed and won't be buying anything else here. In addition, the service is very unfriendly.

The food itself is delicious - but the prices are incredible. Charging 1€ for a dollop of ketchup or mayo is really baseless and cheeky... I'll get my food somewhere else in the future!

Since the new owner arrived, I've only been eating in the restaurant. I think the friendly and welcoming atmosphere is just perfect, not to mention the food… an 11/10!!!

It used to be a really good shop. Everyone was friendly and the food was always delicious. After the change of ownership, everything is different. The quality has completely deteriorated and the dishes are not prepared as ordered (missing sauces, wrong meat, pasta almost dry, etc). The staff no longer has the connection to the customers that they once had... a shame

In principle, apart from one thing that bothered me, I can only say good things... I'll start on a positive note I had a kebab bag + Flatbread hot and slightly crispy on the outside + salads looked fresh and display was clean + Chicken meat delicious.. juicy and no gristle or goo + friendly service Negatives - I had to bite off the same side 6 times to get to the meat... at first I thought there was so little meat on it... but no, it was decent and there was plenty of meat in the kebab... but unfortunately it was all in the middle... I would have liked it Personally, I would have liked it better if the meat had been more spread out... so that you wouldn't notice it until the 6th bite and for my taste the tzatziki could have had a little more spice... but it was always tasty.. At 7 euros, of course, nothing for every day, but that's what the prices have been since Corona... the shops are also fighting for their survival Lg

I ordered a kebab without onions and got one with onions. When I said that I ordered without, he answered no and then he just unwrapped the kebab and tried to put down the onions, but only got half of them. Not highly recommended if you are also allergic to onions...

To keep the kebab rating short: - Bread was toasted broken - Sauce tasted like a mixture of herbs, salt and spices - Meat was a minced skewer and very dry - Onion has already sprouted - Salad was fresh - Tomatoes, okay Conclusion: probably not again

I can only give it full marks. The food tastes great, the decor is chic and the staff is super friendly and does their job very well and in a good mood.

A pizza with really good toppings👍. The pizza base deserves 6 stars... extremely fluffy, crispy and extremely thin... the kind I've only seen in Italian and Sardinian restaurants... Since I wanted something extra spicy, I even received a separate personal greeting from the kitchen in the form of beefy hot pepperoni, the boss's “favorite pepperoni” - which should please be “enjoyed” with caution before I eat it. Grisu the Fire Dragon” would mutate…. Extremely tasty, friendly, charming service, very lavishly topped, crispy pizza - simply wonderful 🙏 - thank you for letting me eat so well with you!

Es ist ein typischer Imbiss. Der Döner ist geschmacklich in Ordnung, allerdings für 7 Euro, meiner Meinung nach, etwas überteuert. Für die schnelle Mittagspause oder ähnliches ist es okay, aber ich würde den Verzehr vor Ort nicht wirklich empfehlen. Nicht gemütlich, dreckige Tische und ein Service, der OK ist.

Komme gerne hier hin, wenn es mal wieder schnell gehen muss. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und schnell. Das es frisch und lecker, Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt.

Super das die Küche durchgehend ist! Ampiente u Essen sehr gut.

Wir waren nach Monaten einen Döner essen. Der Hänchenspieß war leider leer. Das Kalbfleisch war von mittlerer Qualität. Geschmacklich hat es mich nicht überzeugt. Der Service war sehr gut. Alle freundlich und flink. Im Gästebereich wurde in neue Sitzmöbel investiert und renoviert. Gefällt mir 👍

Ich habe einen Salat "Overather Art" gegessen. Der Salat war frisch und die Soße dazu lecker. Bei den Hähnchenstreifen hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es kein frisches Fleisch war, möglicherweise sogar ein Formfleischproduckt! Schade

Preis Leistung passt nicht, 8€ für einen Döner ist einfach zu viel, für die Menge und Qualität.

Wir waren früher öfters dort, nun seit langer Zeit mal wieder und waren sehr enttäuscht. Essen hat Nachgelassen fritten schmecken nicht so Fleisch war sehr trockenund ein Dönnerteller 13 Euro. Ich hoffe es wird wieder besser.
