Mediterran Tuana Kebab Restaurant in Ulm

Die Bestellung über Wolt war unkompliziert. Ich hatte eine Börek mit Spinatfüllung, eine Falafel im Yufka und unterschiedliche Baklava. Alles war gut, vor allem das Baklava klassisch, Schokoladen-Baklava, Milchbaklava und Pistazienrolle-Baklava. Mein Highlight war das Milchbaklava.

Die Iskender- und Döner-Teller waren köstlich und sehr sättigend. Ich hatte erwartet, dass das Lahmacun wie in der Türkei mit Gemüse und Zwiebeln serviert würde, da „mit Salat“ angegeben war. Stattdessen gab es verschiedene Soßen wie beim Döner – ein typisch deutscher Geschmack. Wer türkisches Essen möchte, sollte dies unbedingt erwähnen. Alternativ könnte man auch „mit Soße“ in die Speisekarte schreiben. Die Tische standen etwas eng, aber es war trotzdem sehr angenehm. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Ich habe eine einfache Pizza Margherita bestellt und Fazit die schmeckt so als hätte man eine Tiefkühl Pizza warm gemacht aber selbst die schmecken besser

KENNERBEWERTUNG! Wo sollen wir anfangen? Eigentlich gibt es keine Worte, die dem Genusserlebnis bei Tuana gerecht werden könnten. Wenn es möglich wäre, müssten hier mindestens 10 Sterne vergeben werden können. Wir werden versuchen, für alle LeserInnen deutlich zu machen, welch kulinarisches Wunderwerk sie hier erwartet. Der Döner ist von a bis z immer PERFEKT, leckeres Brot, saftiges Fleisch und frischer Salat mit außergewöhnlichen, perfekt harmonierenden Soßen machen es für uns nahezu unmöglich, nicht hier vorbeizukommen, wenn wir im Umkreis von 100km unterwegs sind. Doch damit nicht genug! Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wirklich jedeR kommt hier vollumfänglich auf seine/ihre Kosten und schmaust sich glücklich. Sowohl Dönerfanatiker, Pizzaliebhaber, Falafelenthusiasten, Pidevernascher, Baklavasüßzähne und alle, die perfekten türkischen Reis ANHIMMELN, sind hier genau richtig. Auch das Personal überzeugt bei jedem Besuch. Persönliche (Extra-)Wünsche werden mit Kusshand erfüllt, Soßen werden in Hülle und Fülle bereitgestellt und wir haben Tuana noch NIE ohne ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und einem wohligen Gefühl im Magen verlassen! Falls Dir diese Rezension an dieser Stelle noch nicht vollends das Wasser im Mund hat zusammenlaufen lassen, solltest du eins wissen: das hier schreiben zwei junge Kennerinnen dieser hervorragenden Küche, die seit ÜBER DREI JAHREN durchschnittlich wöchentlich hier einkehren, garnieren und kulinarische Köstlichkeiten genießen. FAZIT: kein normaler Dönerladen, sondern ein kulinarisches Erlebnis!

Auch 2026 immernoch mein Favorit in Ulm. Super nettes Personal, faire Preise und die Döner sind einfach bombe. Geschmack, Menge frische, da stimmt alles!!!

Hab Döner bestellt, hat gar nicht geschmeckt. Zu wenig Fleisch und Sauce.

Essen war sehr lecker und frisch (Haloumi Yufka), man wird gut satt zu einem fairen Preis. Ich kann dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Waren übers Wochenende zum Abendessen hier. 2 Personen. Man wurde gleich freundlich begrüßt und ans Tisch geführt.Tische waren sehr sauber auch die Mitarbeiter in der Küche haben durchgehend geputzt... Letztlich kann ich dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens empfehlen. Super Eindruck.

Früher war es viel viel besser vorallem İskender aber heute nach Jahren wieder hier her gekommen naja hat sich einiges geändert da mache ich es mir lieber selber aber nette Personal

War lecker habe das erste mal Dönerteller mit Steakfleisch gegessen

Wir haben bei unserem Besuch zwei große Dönerteller bestellt und waren leider enttäuscht. Für mein persönliches Empfinden war die Portionsgröße im Verhältnis zum Preis sehr klein. Als ich freundlich nachfragte, ob es sich eventuell um eine kleinere Portion handelt, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass dies die normale große Portion sei. Das Gespräch wurde aus meiner Sicht eher kurz und ohne weiteres Entgegenkommen beendet. Insgesamt hat dieser Besuch bei mir einen enttäuschenden Eindruck hinterlassen, sodass ich mir überlegen würde, ob ich erneut hier essen gehe.

War heute das erste Mal dort. Sehr guter Yufka/Dürüm, freundliches Personal und schönes, sauberes und gepflegtes Restaurant. Kann von mir bedenkenlos empfohlen werden.

Eigentlich wollten wir an diesem eiskalten Tag auf dem Wintermarkt in Ulm was essen. Wir zogen es dann wegen der Kälte doch vor, in ein Lokal zu gehen. Da wir in diesem Kebablokal schön des Öfteren gut gegessen haben, entschieden wir uns hierher zu gehen. Pustekuchen. Wir erhielten unser Essen recht zügig, dieses war jetzt nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Und in kürzester Zeit war das Essen erkaltet und wir durchgefroren. Das Lokal war bei Minusgraden draußen fast nicht beheizt, zu erkennen war nur ein kleiner Heizstrahler. Da wären wir leichter auf dem Wintermarkt geblieben.

Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und der Dönerteller schmeckt ganz gut.

Hatten Döner zum Mitnehmen. Wurden alle mehrmals gefragt, was wir für einen wollten, nur dass dann Döner für Kunden im Restaurant zuerst gemacht wurden. Am Ende hatte einer unserer Freunde den Döner sofort, wir mussten dann noch 15 Minuten direkt danach warten, nur um dann einen doch schon sichtbar dünneren Döner zu bekommen. Döner war ok, aber für den Preis halt echt schon mittel. Gemüse war fairerweise frisch und Soßen sind auch gut. Aber zum Mitnehmen nicht zu empfehlen.

A definite go to restaurant in Ulm. I am a visitor from the UK and am always made to feel welcome. The kebabs are 1st class and never disappoint. A must for any visitor to Ulm.

The food was brought to the table. It was hot, fresh, and delicious! The service was friendly. Everything you could want for a quick snack! Unfortunately, the food was visibly worn, but that was fine for our short visit.

Tuana is considered one of the best kebab shops in Ulm, but our experience was quite the opposite. Even simple requests like less meat or more sauce resulted in insults in Arabic: "Are you kidding me? Add another euro to the bill," he said to the cashier, accompanied by a mocking laugh. The meal itself was disappointing: dry meat and a strange taste, the bread tasted a bit old, and the bland sauce was far from "the best kebab shop in Ulm," as advertised at the front of the shop. Shame on you! That's not how you treat customers. That was the first and last time! Don't talk if you can't even recognize your fellow countrymen (:)

The meat tasted good but the döner bread was hard as a rock. Don't fry it too much.

Lahmacun tasted like nothing. Eight of us came and placed our orders one after the other. Unfortunately, only one of them came out right; the rest were all wrong. Instead of steak, we got minced meat. I'd understand if someone got the order wrong once or twice—that's human, but all of them? That's incompetent. They also made no effort to apologize or give the correct order. I came once, and I'll never come back. Thank you.

The döner kebab is legendary. It tastes just like Türkiye.

It was truly delicious. The portions were quite large and spotlessly clean. The products used were high quality and fresh. Friendly service. A place we will stop by every time we come.

I can say it was the best döner I've ever had. It was quite plentiful and filling. I also really liked the salad. All the staff were very friendly. I especially thank Mr. Sefkan for his pleasant conversation. The prices are also very reasonable.

I've been there for the first time in a long time, and you can tell someone has put some thought into how we can become a restaurant instead of just another kebab shop. Exceptionally delicious falafel kebab with bulgur and vegetables, served without aluminum foil or plastic, very attentive service, and everything is clean. Excellent value for money.

I've eaten many kebabs in my life. Good ones, very good ones, even award-winning ones. But what happened to me today was no ordinary fast food. It was a culinary awakening, an explosion of flavor that temporarily overturned my perception of reality. With the very first bite, I forgot who I was. The kebab—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, like the whisper of a poem—transported me into a state I can only describe as "enlightenment incarnate." The bread? Not your average flatbread—it was fluffy, slightly crispy, as if it had been resting in a secret oven right in seventh heaven. The meat? Incredibly juicy, with roasted flavors so complex that I briefly thought Beethoven himself had conducted the rotisserie orchestra. And that sauce! I'm not sure, but I think it spoke to me briefly. Gently, but firmly. In an ancient language that comes straight from the heart. The combination of everything—vegetables, spices, temperature, timing—was so perfect that I swear the vendor opened my chakra. As I chewed, I saw the matrix, felt the universe, and heard birds singing, even though I was standing in the middle of a noisy city. I'm not the same person I was before. This kebab filled not only my stomach, but also my heart. It wasn't a snack—it was a poem, a manifesto, an invitation to inner peace. 5/5. If I were a restaurant critic, I'd put down my pen—because it doesn't get any better than this. With that in mind: Enjoy!

Forget about Mediterranean, it reminds me more of the Baltic Sea. The guy at the cash register doesn't take his job seriously (something was going on behind the counter?) and struck me as very unfriendly. Inside, it looks like a morgue: rice is flavorless and hard as pebbles, and the doner meat is salty and barely edible. What a shame, I expected more!

It's really gone downhill!!! It used to taste really good there. But it's gotten a lot worse over the years, and today we were really disappointed!! The meat, salad, and sauce weren't tasty at all anymore! To be honest, the salad and sauce were really disgusting!! The meat was also extremely dry and just plain salty. And no matter where you get a LARGE kebab plate, it's LARGE. This one is sold as a large one, but a smaller one will come!! So the portion is way too small for €13.50!!!! You can't call it a large plate!! On top of that, they overcharged us by almost €5 and didn't give us a receipt!!! Only noticed afterward when we did the math. The child was allowed to pay and didn't receive any change or a receipt!!!! That's really poor.... If it had at least tasted good, I wouldn't have cared...but we were all really disappointed and spent €60 on it!! So, based on the last 3 times I've been there, I can NO LONGER recommend eating there!! There are much better restaurants!! P.S. I didn't finish it because, as mentioned, it didn't taste good!! It's a disgrace to present that as an answer!! It can't be because of the "huge" portion either 😉 But somehow you have to downplay the bad review!!!

Quality has deteriorated significantly! This has been my favorite kebab in Ulm for years and I went there regularly and without exception it was always very, very tasty. Unfortunately today it was catastrophic. The ingredients were slapped onto it completely carelessly and there was just an excessive amount of sauce slapped onto the kebab. Plus it wasn't as fresh anymore. Unfortunately it tasted more like run-of-the-mill standard sauce. The Turkish Tuana touch of the last few years was completely missing! I don't know what's going on with you right now, but this was the second time in a row that it was a very poor experience. Unfortunately I've heard this from several sources. Urgently need to get back to the old quality. Otherwise you will lose some regular customers.

My standard sentence at the beginning: taste can be debated. I had a lentil soup and the pide with minced meat here. A little note: The minced meat pide is served gratinated with cheese. If you don't like that, you should mention it when ordering. The taste was great and the prices were also very reasonable. The lentil soup tasted like it was in Turkey.

5 stars – highly recommended! I've been to this kebab shop several times now and I'm completely satisfied every time. The kebab is super tasty, the meat is juicy, well seasoned and the ingredients are fresh. But I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the pizza – crispy base, plenty of toppings and really good taste! To be honest, I wouldn't have expected this in a kebab shop. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair and the waiting time is completely acceptable. Whether it's for a quick snack or a relaxed dinner - I'll definitely be back!

It can be said that Turkish cuisine is at the highest level. We came from Turkey and there is no such taste in Türkiye. The employees are very sweet and attentive. The atmosphere is also very nice, it is a warm environment. It is definitely a place to go.

The service is friendly and fast, and the food arrives promptly. If you're looking for a quick and affordable kebab, you can't go wrong here.
