The location is good, the quality of the food and drinks is also overwhelmingly impressive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff: in 2 out of 3 cases, either the wrong order came, no order at all, or it took an excessively long time. This happened when ordering food from the menu. The buffet and drinks are usually good to very good. 1/3 of the staff are nice...2/3 come across as unfriendly or overbearing/arrogant. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. This is definitely something that can be expanded! Update 8/25/24: We have been visiting this restaurant for local events for years. You really can't complain about the food/drink, but the fact that there are now more and more people going without good service staff (no, it can't be an excuse that they're missing, because at least there are enough people running around locally...just the wrong ones), I can't understand that. We and our neighboring table, who met because of the same situation, had to wait half an hour and three reminders before we were finally allowed to order. When we ordered a repeat order, we were referred to another colleague twice more, but she was not informed. Same with the bill. Every waiter here seems to have their own little area of ​​responsibility: only drinks, only food, only wiping, only billing. Unbelievable. The ambience now also leaves a lot to be desired, as the "great" service means that a lot of things are left lying or standing and, if you're lucky, the table is wiped in the middle of the meal. Let's see how this develops further. I really can't understand the good reviews...or maybe I'm just there at the wrong times by chance. ;)

It used to be good, but has waned. Was there yesterday with my wife. Most of the tables were in the blazing sun, as it would have been too much trouble to put up the parasols. There was leftover food lying around on a high serving table, which attracted hordes of wasps. It would probably have involved too much work to create order and cleanliness there. We fled.

The location and the ambience are top class. The food is good. What I liked best was the service. Franziska was very nice and friendly and also knew her way around the catering industry really well. Great. Keep it up. Now I was there again this month. We just had a drink. We noticed that the cocktails contained very little alcohol. For a fruit juice, these drinks were very expensive. I've been to Me Lounge twice in the last month. Unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly both times. When we entered the restaurant we were neither noticed nor greeted. The truffle mayo is a scam. More garlic than truffles. As a mayo lover, I was very disappointed. No garlic should be added to the mayo. You should edit it again. Here is an easy recipe for vegan truffle mayo: 200 ml rapeseed oil 50 ml truffle oil 100 ml soy milk 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp white vinegar 1 tsp mustard 2 pinches of salt

Ordered ice cream, iced coffee and pasta. The iced coffee had already been drunk when the rest finally arrived: a totally runny ice cream sundae and pasta with pressed chicken. Complaints were dismissed or totally ignored.

Sad experience for families!!!! We've been there several times and wanted to sit on the terrace again when the weather was nice. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get to the tables with a stroller because everything is so close together. Then you find a table with 4 seats and drive there with the stroller, which takes a while due to the narrow space. During this time a gentleman sat down alone at the table for four that we had chosen. My husband then kindly asked him if he would mind taking the other table two seats further (two-seater table), as unfortunately we couldn't get through there because of the stroller and there were no other free tables. Unfortunately, the man was very unfriendly and immediately rejected the request. We could only shake our heads. The man seemed offended and started a discussion. The waiter at the restaurant then intervened and said we shouldn't scare away his guests and “kicked us out”. Sad but true. Even the other guests at the other tables have already stood up and offered us their seats. We have never experienced anything so unfriendly from both the guest and the employee!!!

I was there in the evening with a friend. We had to wait over 25 minutes before anyone even noticed us. Because everyone was busy with each other. And the store was maybe 1/4 full. So it's pretty empty. Then the waitress was also quite annoyed. The food tasted as if a bag had just been opened and mixed with noodles. So for me it was definitely the first and last time. I didn't expect such service and food for a place like this.

According to him, it is not understaffing that is the problem, but rather the economic crisis. There were 10 people in the Me Lounge. Located directly on the Weser. Due to the warm weather conditions, all the doors were open and you had the feeling of sitting outside. Which would have been possible if our group had been smaller. Service was very quick, attentive, friendly. The food was delicious, I had an appetizer and then didn't finish my burger. A screen was then lowered for the football viewing so that the men didn't have to miss out... ;)

Unfortunately, the service in the Melounge was extremely poor. The waitresses are sometimes inattentive and unfriendly. There is also disagreement regarding the payment system. Sometimes you can pay by card, then again you are told in a rude manner that you can only pay by card if you spend more than €10. Another colleague then said it wouldn't be a problem at all. The food was very poor and some of the cocktails were undrinkable. The only plus point is the great location.

We actually wanted to go with a group of 11 people. Sit outside and had announced this in advance. This lounge is located directly on the Weser. So you have a great view while sitting there. We had an ice cream cafe, iced tea and very tasty waffles with ice cream and cream. Since it was warm in summer, we were able to chill there wonderfully ❤. Highly recommended after a nice day of shopping, as it is located right next to the Pied Piper Hall and its underground car park.

Expensive for no reason! Everyone who gives this 5 stars has never eaten outside of Hameln. The pizza dough must be frozen and the so-called bowls are nothing more than salads. It was a good attempt to restructure the menu, it would be good if that could also happen in the kitchen. If you pay just under €21 for a pizza and a large soda - then I ask myself whether I should eat at the KÖ in Düsseldorf or in the humble Hameln. Breakfast is excluded from this review as it is really good.

The location is basically nice, but we noticed weeks ago that all the decorations, ceiling lights and walls were extremely dirty with cobwebs and lint. That hasn't changed. Last night we sat under a huge wall clock with dust mice forming on its surface... I was worried about finding some of it on my plate We shared our criticism with the service staff and I hope something changes. In the end we paid €62 for the asparagus, the burger and two drinks and two espressos. Significantly too much for below-average quality… we probably won't be back for a while

Ambience really very good. Unfortunately the rest was just a case. Tables were dirty and were only cleaned after request and 3 dishes were ordered, all of which were served cold. At the first dish the waiter said that the plate was warm, which is the problem. In the end, all the dishes were served new, but I think that can't and shouldn't be that way.

The schnitzel was by no means freshly made with a terrible breading, the asparagus was mushy, cooked and the potatoes were so bad. The food wasn't really any better for the other guests at our party either. The service was okay, but we could have visited more often to take more orders. Overall, unfortunately a huge disappointment.

Reason: "The assessment would violate his personal rights." In order for the review to stay online, we should send private data to the lawyer via Google to prove that we were there in the first place. Of course we didn't think of that. Hello everyone....First of all, on a positive note, the view is great....terrace and inside in good to new condition, where I and my wife and friends were definitely hoping for quality.. Now for the negative: Well we looked for a place outside, there were still fries on the table and the table hadn't been wiped down. Well, it can happen. I went in and asked for a rag. Answer Waiter comes immediately and wipes the table (about 10 minutes) then someone came. Okay, we thought... After a while the waiter came again and took the order... We were looking forward to our food, especially because we saw the food from the people sitting next to us and it looked very tasty. When our food came (5 people + 5 different dishes) we unfortunately discovered that the food was cold (for everyone) and that my wife's meat was tough. When I asked the waiter if he could please warm up my food, he grabbed the plate and said it was warm (it's nice if I take a plate fresh out of the dishwasher) then it's warm too!! Quality 5 to 6 (school grade) The end, however, was awesome: we had to pay €1.20 extra for the sauce that was included with the dish and it didn't say anywhere that this had to be paid extra!! Well, after some discussion, the €1.20 was credited back to us!! All in all once and NEVER again!! P.S. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL EXACTLY BEFORE YOU PAY!!!!!!!

We came here for the first time on our motorcycle tour for the breakfast buffet and were very impressed. We had reserved, it wasn't full, the buffet was lovingly prepared and very varied. The food was tasty enough (Burger and ‘luke warm‘ chips and chicken salads). €30 per person with a drink. The outdoor seating area was thick with tobacco smoke… ‘it’s Germany, get used to it!’ Probably the nicest place along this part of the river.

It's a shame that the schnitzels are frozen goods 😞. the side dish is also bland, fries are not good. The pike perch was oversalted and had lots of bones. We were there with 4 adults and one child.

I went there for coffee a few weeks ago - the selection is okay, but I think the prices are too high depending on the drink. You can easily pay more than €4 for a little hot apple juice with spices (really not a big glass). That makes you think about having a second drink.

I actually like to come on weekday mornings to chill out or have breakfast. The service at the table is very friendly! I don't experience that often. But now I had lunch for the first time and was disappointed. I ordered gnocchi with turkey. Now I thought about sliced ​​turkey. Not even close. The slices of cold cuts were chopped short and small. So small that I didn't even see it and asked if perhaps they had forgotten the turkey. The waitress then showed me a piece on my spoon. So I can understand that you have to save money in the catering industry in these times, but I felt really ripped off. A pity.

We spontaneously went to the Me Lounge on a Saturday afternoon when the weather was very good to have something to eat/drink before an event. It was packed and correspondingly loud. The music in the interior was quite loud, so we had to talk very loudly. The music could be quieter here to reduce the overall background noise. The waiters didn't pay any attention at first. We took a seat at a beautiful table in an open window with a direct view of the Weser. We were able to place the order after about 10 minutes. It was super busy and there were a lot of waiters around, but I would have liked better management of the service staff here. We ordered lemonade and bruscetta and the Me Lounge pan. The drinks came quickly - but we waited over 45 minutes for the food.. The sodas were very good! We can highly recommend the melon lemonade! The food was good. Overall, I would recommend a visit to anyone who is nearby due to the location and the selection on the menu.

Update: The restaurant threatened me with a lawyer to remove my 3 star rating because I had allegedly never been a guest. I know of few places where the service is so subpar. You wait a long time until you can order and no one ever came to pay, so I always had to do it myself (go to the checkout).

We came here for coffee and only ate waffles, which were freshly made and tasted very good. The only reason I didn't get full marks was because the sanitary facilities weren't that great. Maybe just check things out once in a while. But otherwise clear recommendation.
