Been here again after 2 years, always worth a visit. The weather and service were great, as I remembered.

Actually, I was always “satisfied” with the me Lounge. You knew what you were getting into - the price-performance ratio was right and the service was always friendly. But last Friday was absolutely disastrous. The menu has changed and the prices were already quite high. I had a burger that tasted like nothing but mayonnaise and grilled vegetables that were drowned in fat. The service was incredibly unfriendly and not just to us. It was definitely my last visit there. It's actually a shame, because the atmosphere is cool, but the last experience has made my gums bleed so far.

Although the food is ok, the service is when I want someone to leave in just a moment, they leave and don't come at all. I don't recommend it.

In any case, it's nice to sit on the Weser and have something nice to drink and eat!!

Food arrived lukewarm. There were no alternatives for sauces because they were empty. Salad was ordered and still came (I think it's a shame because it gets thrown away) I don't like the one from there. Smash burger wasn't that good either..

Unfortunately not good service, no inquiries are made. €6.90 for 5 mini pizza rolls? €6.90 for an elderberry soda? €3.90 for a small berry soda? I pay something like that in big cities. What a shame!

Great large terrace directly at the jetties. Beautifully located in the afternoon and evening sun. Very tasty food. Cocktails and appetizers a bit expensive.

Got really bad. We won't go there anymore. Ordered pasta for €20 and got a children's plate... such a mini portion. That was really outrageous. The cake was still frozen and therefore inedible. Even the coffee wasn't tasty and the service left a lot to be desired... all in all, a super disappointing visit!!

Very nice staff, often inquires about welfare. Reasonable waiting time for drinks and food - although there wasn't much customer when we were there. Cocktails sometimes very strong. Nice atmosphere inside and outside. Beautiful in the evening with the lights on the Weser.

I had the smash burger and popcorn chicken brought for me and my husband today, we were totally shocked by it. The burger looked like a cheeseburger, it was absolutely dry, only the cheeseburger from. McDonald's almost looked better, the size was almost the same and the 20 popcorn chickens were actually around 20 little black marbles, it was so cheeky what was delivered. I called the Me Lounge and a young man answered, his name somehow started with Ar... or something like that. I told him my problem and he just said, I don't know what your problem is, we're just not MC. Donald's. I said, the only one who is happy here is our dog and came again, I don't know what her problem is.... And all for 30€... A dry cheeseburger and 20 black popcorn chicken, so little marbles. No fries, let alone a drink... NEVER AGAIN... P.S. I've never written a review before, but this really shocked me.

It's just a lovely place; you can look wonderfully at the Weser and relax.

Here, service tips are taken for granted and are kept even if the customer doesn't want to give one! Great food, great location But!!! The service leaves more than to be desired! It takes ages until you are noticed by service as a guest. Staff (except for a young lady with tattoos on her arms who really tried hard but seemed to be quite new) were unfriendly. But the kicker was paying. I paid in cash and didn't have any change with me, only banknotes. The lady who collected the money took my money for granted and immediately pocketed 4.80 euros as a tip. This is also a great way to earn a penny! As I have already read below, this rip-off is unfortunately common practice here! We didn't get a receipt either. The store saw me for the last time today! There are better ones in Hameln

The food was very tasty, the staff was very friendly. The ambience also totally fit the bill. All in all, the price-performance ratio is good. I liked it very much.

So you can't really say anything about that, but I think the fact that the waiter just gives himself a tip of €12.40 is a bit crazy and then doesn't even have insight. If we go there again we will only pay in cash and there will be no more tips!!!!!

In the best case scenario, a guest leaves a restaurant with a good experience to very good feeling. In the worst case, actions are not customer- and solution-oriented. Individual training for staff is then strongly recommended.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Me Lounge was not as positive as I had hoped. The cleanliness in particular left a lot to be desired - there were ants running around in the restaurant, which didn't seem particularly inviting. The toilet rooms also urgently need repairs because, for example, some door handles were already loose. I found the breakfast buffet disappointing. The selection was quite limited, and things like quark were completely missing. Greater diversity would be desirable here. The play area for the youngest guests also urgently needs to be reworked. It didn't seem well maintained, which is certainly a big negative point for families with children. Overall, the Me Lounge unfortunately didn't convince me. With more care in hygiene, a better buffet selection and the maintenance of the rooms, the stay could be much more pleasant.

We were served “flower coffee” there on March 29, 2025. When we asked the waiter, the coffee was first taken away but then immediately returned?! The lady said that the coffee machine was set that way and that we had already drunk half of it. They were small cups! The toilets were disgustingly dirty!! We won't be coming back!!

Breakfast was ok, service was good, but the play area was incredibly dirty and urgently needed cleaning!

I was only there for a very short time. Drank a latte macchiato and ate a piece of cake. The service should urgently be trained again. As a guest, you always had the feeling that you were somehow disturbing us.

Are there also minuses? I have never seen such cheeky service. A certain service person at this restaurant should perhaps look for another job. Instead of a friendly hello, you get yelled at without talking first, like anything else. Never again!!!

Super delicious breakfast buffet right on the Weser. Everything fresh. Nicely prepared. Great selection. Something for everyone. Freshly prepared omelet. Service (everyone), especially Constanze, was super nice and attentive. The omelette man is great. Gladly again!!!

Definitely worth a visit. The view is beautiful, the service is friendly and the breakfast is a dream. I haven't had such a good breakfast in a long time.

I wanted to eat there with my girlfriend and called ahead to reserve a table. I was told on the phone that we can just come over. After a full 30 minutes of driving and you're hungry, you're told in the store that you could sit in the smoking area. Why not just be honest on the phone?

The food was good and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the staff was equally incompetent. She didn't really know the dishes on the menu and ignored everything else that was said. We wanted to share a side dish and said so. However, we didn't get them separately and I had to eat from my husband's plate across the table. We also generally had to wait to even order, even though the store wasn't well attended and three service staff walked past us. The worst thing, however, was that there is a large smoking area (good if you smoke) and the door to this area was held open by a wedge. The smoke only reached us when we had already ordered. That's the only reason we decided to stay. Tastes are different...ours didn't like it here

It is beautifully located directly on the Weser. Dogs are very welcome. The service is quick and nice. The prices are fair and reasonable.

The music was too loud for me. The cake and coffee setting was okay. The service could have been friendlier.

We were there for brunch with our child. Thanks to a small play area for the little ones, the whole stay was very relaxing. The buffet was very diverse and there was something for everyone. The service that day was a 1 with stars (the service was always great on previous visits). We'd love to come back for brunch

Unfortunately the food has lost quality... the burgers really didn't work at all! And the salads are far too expensive for what you get... really sobering. The side bread was just soggy. It was much better! Unfortunately we didn't like it and we spent over 50 euros for nothing.

In my opinion, the food, drinks and service left nothing to be desired. The restaurant has a smoking and a non-smoking area. Unfortunately, the smell of smoke sometimes wafts into the non-smoking area.

With a small bus group we visited the lounge for brunch this afternoon. Attentive staff right from the start...and a super start to an eventful day of musicals in Hameln

We were there for the a la carte breakfast and it was very tasty and filling. Price-performance ratio very good! Service was very friendly, but not very present, which unfortunately meant we had to wait a little longer for orders or the bill. Probably due to the crowds. I would like the ambience of the me lounge to develop a little further. It has remained unchanged for years and it seems as if the potential of this great location and this great restaurant/café is not being exploited to the fullest but is simply being left to languish. All in all, as always, a very good experience and highly recommended!

Very cool place for young people who want to spend a relaxing evening. Prices are a bit steep but the cocktails are always delicious and refreshing! Service is quick and nice. I think music is suitable for almost every taste. Not too loud, so you can still have a good conversation. There is a small play area in the entrance. There are blankets available outside so that you feel comfortable when it gets cold in the evening.

We were at the breakfast buffet. The food was OK but there was little choice for the price and there was a bad pudding...unfortunately filter coffee wasn't even included in the price...so all drinks cost extra. Otherwise the service was OK but could be improved...room for improvement...drinks were e.g. Ordered but not brought to the table

We traveled from Bad Salzdetfurth by train to have breakfast in the restaurant. We ordered the breakfast buffet and I have to say, we were really impressed. It was very tasty and rich. From various rolls and croissants there were spreads, sausage, cheese and everything else you could wish for. The service was very nice and quick. We would be happy to come again.

Exelent place. Good for Cofee and cake. Good location just on the River Weser and close to River Tour operator. Highly recommend.

Food okay - not a bit more. Portion of the dips much (!) too small! Second helpings only come with an additional charge - the waitress said the problem was known. If you don't get something to drink yourself, you'll be left high and dry all evening - no one came and asked. Ambience and toilet good

I celebrated my birthday here with more than 100 guests. To put it briefly: I have rarely experienced such a well-organized celebration. The location was perfect, decorated just right, friendly staff, fast service, excellent food, great drinks - everything was perfect. Therefore full marks in all areas!

Not recommended. After we ordered our drinks, we waited 40 minutes to order food but nothing came of it because the waiters ignored us. Then they just left. It would also be nice if the waitresses would dress according to the restaurant.

The worst waiters I've ever seen. You are not served here, and the guests are not taken care of out of their own intention. After half an hour without being served, I got up and left the poor lounge.

A great atmosphere. Very nice and attentive service staff. You can eat there or just drink something. And important for smokers from North Rhine-Westphalia, there is a smoking area there.

Great food, nice place on the Weser and not expensive. The last time we ate there there was complete chaos in the service. The payment was ultimately completed financially, but no excuses. Undoubtedly there is a shortage of staff, but adjust your capacity accordingly.

Nice location on the Weser, but the food there is mediocre and not that cheap. I can't recommend the pizzas, they are relatively small and rather dry. Burgers also quickly become expensive because cheese on the burger costs an extra €2 and the side dish like fries also costs extra... The vegetarian selection is also rather mediocre.

Super friendly, great service and great breakfast buffet

I went there with little expectation as I was here before 2 years ago. If you want something quick to eat and drink, I thought, the restaurant here would suffice. I had a honey mustard burger, Unfortunately it was very bland and already dry at the edges. The accompanying salad was ready-made salad + ready-made dressing. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to add more seasoning, as there was nothing to season on our table or those around us, which was a shame. To drink I had the gin and tonic from the autumn menu, which was tasty but too strong for me personally. The service was okay, but not really attentive, so you had to arrange for someone to come. The service was friendly, but you didn't know what the menu was and so you had to guess what you wanted to order. What I found most blatant was the wine side of the drinks menu. There they sell half a liter of wine spritzer (i.e. wine that is already "stretched" with water) for an unbeatable €15 (approx.), that's pretty wild.

The location is chic and has a very good location. Service is fine, although it can be difficult to be seen. The food was ok, but in terms of price/performance we expected a little more. The fries were very soft, the vegan schnitzel was a bit bland and the espresso was a bit sour. That may all sound harsh, but everything was okay. But given the price, everything has to be right somehow. Maybe just descale the espresso machine...

Nice restaurant, but such incredibly unfriendly and sometimes arrogant staff! Really a shame. The restaurant was full on Friday lunchtime, the outside area was empty, and we came with 3 people and 2 dogs and asked for a seat. The service employee just said he wouldn't open the outdoor area for 15 minutes. I asked if the glass extension would work and had to be rudely told that he had just said that it wouldn't open outside for 15 minutes. I said that I wouldn't count the glass box as part of the outdoor area. He forced a smile and said, okay, you could call it a hybrid. 🙄 Then he said we should just go for a walk for another 15 minutes because he still had things to do inside. If he had said we could sit down, but it would take a moment, I wouldn't have had a problem at all, but sending a group of guests on a walk because you're overwhelmed? Seriously?! We then went to another restaurant, where we were able to sit outside in the nicest weather and were treated in a friendly and polite manner. It's a shame about the nice atmosphere, but it was our last time here. And if you look at the other reviews, this was probably not an isolated case. We've been there every now and then and we've noticed this rude treatment before, but now we've had enough.

You sit very nicely with a view of the Weser. We were there for brunch. It was really first class with scrambled eggs, rolls, bread, jam, various sausages and cheeses. All very tasty. The service was very friendly, even though it was busy.

We have 5 people on September 14th. Booked breakfast online and received a booking confirmation. Unfortunately, this was not transferred to the reservation book, so we didn't have a reservation on site. The service person said that this happens often. We finally got a place. Unfortunately, the waitress only came to us at the beginning to take a drink order. Not again after that. The service needs to be better trained.

I can only strongly advise against booking the Me Lounge for a private party. The service staff insist on only bringing drinks to tables where people are sitting. At a standing party. So to order you first have to sit down at a table, wait until someone comes over and then order. Instead of having simple drinks (beer, soft drinks, etc.) picked up directly from the counter. They're all paid for anyway. This leads to people ordering 6-8 beers in advance, who knows when there will be something available again. What madness.

My wife and I were in Hameln on our motorcycle tour; we have been to Hameln many times in recent years. We wanted to have a coffee on the terrace in this beautiful restaurant on the Weser. After we had been waiting for the service for a while, my wife wanted to go in and let us know. She went to a waiter and before she could say anything she was reprimanded very harshly and unfriendly in an incredibly cheeky tone. "If you want to ask me if I'll come out straight away, I will" My wife was horrified and we left immediately. Everyone can have a bad day, but you can't take it out on your guests. We will avoid this restaurant on our next visit to Hameln.

I was there for a company party and didn't have high expectations since I had been here before a few years ago. The location directly on the Weser is of course unbeatable. The service was mostly friendly, but had no idea. There was no problem with either the food on the menu or the drinks or when paying. The disaster happened after a colleague ordered an Ipanema (non-alcoholic cocktail) and received a Caipirinha. The drink was exchanged, but without much apology etc. Luckily she wasn't a dry alcoholic. The food was rather poor. A component was missing from the starter plate and there was not a homemade dip. Very greasy. The medallions were okay, but then it stopped. Conclusion: This is definitely a good place to go for a drink, but I won't eat there anymore and that's how my colleagues saw it. The staff definitely needs to be better trained so that chaos doesn't break out in a half-full store and the customer goes home satisfied.

It's really lovely to sit in the sun at the harbor. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored as a guest. People paid in front of me, ordered next to me (came after me) and I sat there.

The location is good, the quality of the food and drinks is also overwhelmingly impressive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the staff: in 2 out of 3 cases, either the wrong order came, no order at all, or it took an excessively long time. This happened when ordering food from the menu. The buffet and drinks are usually good to very good. 1/3 of the staff are nice...2/3 come across as unfriendly or overbearing/arrogant. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. This is definitely something that can be expanded! Update 8/25/24: We have been visiting this restaurant for local events for years. You really can't complain about the food/drink, but the fact that there are now more and more people going without good service staff (no, it can't be an excuse that they're missing, because at least there are enough people running around locally...just the wrong ones), I can't understand that. We and our neighboring table, who met because of the same situation, had to wait half an hour and three reminders before we were finally allowed to order. When we ordered a repeat order, we were referred to another colleague twice more, but she was not informed. Same with the bill. Every waiter here seems to have their own little area of ​​responsibility: only drinks, only food, only wiping, only billing. Unbelievable. The ambience now also leaves a lot to be desired, as the "great" service means that a lot of things are left lying or standing and, if you're lucky, the table is wiped in the middle of the meal. Let's see how this develops further. I really can't understand the good reviews...or maybe I'm just there at the wrong times by chance. ;)

It used to be good, but has waned. Was there yesterday with my wife. Most of the tables were in the blazing sun, as it would have been too much trouble to put up the parasols. There was leftover food lying around on a high serving table, which attracted hordes of wasps. It would probably have involved too much work to create order and cleanliness there. We fled.
