McDonald's in Schwentinental

Feb 2025: unfortunately the quality is declining here too. We wanted to eat in the restaurant, but decided to take the food with us because of the dirty tables. Unfortunately, we then had a communication problem with a service person who unfortunately didn't speak enough German, but didn't ask back in English either. That would have made the whole thing easier. Nov 2023: Operation on the drive currently takes a very long time. It took us 15 minutes from lining up in the short queue (3 vehicles in front of us) to accepting our food. Little tricks are used so that this doesn't show up in the restaurant's statistics.

Super unfriendly and overwhelmed staff and complains to the guests.

Ordered 4 things, received 2 things and they were also cold There was hardly anything going on in the store and two waitresses were just standing around

It's not what it used to be... 🤧 Endlessly dirty. I'll go straight back out. Luckily I'm not at McDrive, then I wouldn't have seen all the dirt and maybe eaten the food.

As almost always (oddly enough, only here) the cheeseburgers are cold.

After a wait of over 50 minutes and multiple rude discussions with those in charge, this fast food restaurant is definitely not recommended.

Very, very rarely have I found myself in an MCD at 9:30 p.m. that was so empty and had the volume and atmosphere of a machine shop. It felt like devices beeped until they finally gave up in annoyance. Now I give up and drive on, annoyed. Sigh. THANK YOU FOR THE UNPLEASANT BREAK!

Employees steal the Monopoly stickers

Yesterday around lunchtime we were at Mc Donalds in Raisdorf and my friend ordered a large Big Mag and there was a paper clip in the Big Mag and he almost choked on the paper clip. That really shouldn't be the case.

Super bad. Went there on January 1st, 2025 around 9:30 p.m. Mc drive waited 20 minutes even though there was no one in front of me and everything was cold fries big mac cheeseburger.... never again.. It's better to drive to the B76 because the service is still good.

Anyone who offers such good charging infrastructure deserves at least 5 stars!

The waiting time was relatively long and the food was rather cold. Unfortunately, the toilet was not clean.

Since the waiting time was a little longer, I thought the burgers were freshly prepared. They were almost cold. I was the only one at the counter. Really disappointing

McDonald's probably says it all. I like it and that's it.

Today the food came quite quickly. It has improved

I wanted spicy nuggets, I also got a spicy packaging but there were normal ones inside. I don't think that's possible because it happens there all the time.

After a wait of 50 minutes (no big or complicated order!) I asked where the food was. A short time later we had it, without apology. It was packed, but most people were just waiting, hardly anyone had food on the table. You shouldn't always save on staff.

Waiting 20 minutes for someone to take my order and then another 20 to get my order. Multiple workers chatting and ignoring customers

The worst McDonald's I've been to. It always takes an incredibly long time here. Then you type in all the orders and get something wrong every time. Then once a cola has tipped over, there are no lids, you go to the counter, ask for cloths or a rag, get napkins with which you can get it sour and dry. Nobody came to clean anything at all. You just walk by and look, at best there will be some chatting 🤣 We would have liked to have cleaned everything ourselves...

So today was the worst day of my life. After work I actually wanted to eat chicken wings, but my sister had already finished them. Of course I was very sad and angry, so I went to MCCES and wanted to eat a happy meal to get a Mario figure. Of course, they only seem to have the Mario figure in their range, which made me very sad again... I already had that. In addition, we ordered a Sprite but received disgusting sparkling water... then there weren't EVEN ICE CUBES in the drink. I was bitterly disappointed...

Preferably 0 stars. The last 5 times we've been here there's always been something wrong with me. Either we were completely forgotten and then something was still missing, it was cold or something was wrong. That can't be.

One of the nicer McDonald's branches in Kiel. Not too crowded, relaxed staff and a nice, quiet branch. Even after a night of partying in the atrium, you can still go for a burger and fries here

If you really want to get disgusted, then you should definitely stop by this branch. This is the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to. Coffee with extra cream (60 cents) a joke and almost cold. Ice cold cheesecake. The toilets are just so dirty that you have to wash your hands several times afterwards using the tiny stream of water. Urgent need for training in hygiene!

This restaurant doesn't get anything done. A whole happy meal was not delivered and the 3 sauces were wrong. The last time the ice was missing. This is the last time I ordered from there. Sad and annoying everything

Only vending machines, staff unfriendly, don't understand German and extremely slow for "fast food"

I ordered there at 8:40 p.m. and after 2 hours I asked what was going on and then they just hung up on me and canceled my order! I've never had such a bad McDonald's before, it sucks. Will never order there again.

Food was only lukewarm. Ordered chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce come with mayo. The app doesn't work with the ordering machine again. Finally, you can only order from the machine, without an app. I was just annoyed. Additional point deduction because there is no information about the current order via the app (Q-R code)

Mcdrive is mega full, as well as in it too. Long waiting time, and then you don't always get your order completely, weekends it's really dirty there, rarely clean tables.

Wow, that really wasn't necessary, such a grand finale on Saturday. The order itself was a disaster, then the terminal was greased and then some of the food was missing. The vegetarian plant nuggets were probably normal nuggets, you would have to report them to management... they weren't edible either and my iced latte was a lukewarm broth. Fries rock hard, like they've been warmed up three times in the deep fryer. I had to go back 5-6 times for our group because something wasn't right or the quality was bad. Staff unfriendly. That was the last time. It seems to be a permanent condition according to the reviews. One star is still too many.

Wait at least 30 minutes before you can even order and then another 15 minutes until the order is ready. I could write the review and listen to my CD at the same time

The entire restaurant was dirty. It was completely overcrowded. Table service has been discontinued. But the worst thing was the toilets...I've never seen anything so dirty. That was the last visit to this branch!!

Unfortunately, this branch is getting worse and worse. Disorganized staff. The employees look completely listless and that is reflected throughout the entire store. Eating takes a long time, the shop is dirty everywhere even though there is nothing going on. No casseroles in the machines. My drinks were often dirty with crumbs. Absolute failure of leadership!!!!

One star is actually too many, this MC Donals is horror. The tables here are full of rubbish, nothing has been wiped off, everything is totally dirty. There is only trash and food leftovers on the floor. Trash cans are overflowing and are rarely emptied. Staff speaks little to no German. It's best to move on to another one. You can still get the plague here.

Well located shop, food is tasty, often clean on site, toilets could be cleaned more often. What's stupid is that there are few terminals for ordering, so when there's a rush it's difficult to order. Otherwise a good shop that has been around for several decades.

Incredibly dissatisfied! It has regularly been the case over the last year that the staff is incompetent, unstructured and extremely disorganized! There are several (more than enough!!!!!!) people working and it takes an unbelievably long time, something is missing from the order pretty much every time, the food that comes is not packaged properly and then ends up in the bag and is often cold. Unfortunately, it has often happened that due to language barriers, orders in the drive-in take a long time and are then not accepted in full. It always takes longer for the orders to arrive, whether in the restaurant or on MC Drive. Staff doesn't smile at all anymore, it's no fun.

November 28, 2019 My 1 star rating remains. Experienced something cool again today. After waiting for free for 15 minutes to order something, we were told we could only order at the self-service terminal. No, we couldn't because we're old fashioned and only have cash with us. I think it's a disgrace to make customers wait pointlessly for 15 minutes and then tell them that you can supposedly only order at the self-service terminal. If I treated my guests like that at work, they would never come back. And if you are overwhelmed, you should perhaps get a few more employees who also work in the kitchen and don't just wait for the food to be prepared. In the end we went to the Chinamann next door and left our money there if McDonald's didn't want it. Ps: switching to the new system was the stupidest decision in the history of McDonald's. You wait longer than before and the food is still cold. After the renovation it's no longer so strange, but the waiting times are really crazy. 10 minutes for 3 burgers and a happy meal is really too long. In addition, the burgers have been served cold since then. Been here 3 times now and the same thing every time. The kitchen team should be replaced here. 09/06/2018 Nothing has changed in my rating, I was just there with my son. Ordered burger without cucumber. The label on the burgers said no cucumber. What was on it, cucumber. It's crazy that things didn't get any better after the renovation. I have the feeling that it has gotten worse.

I ordered three menus at the Drive Inn, and once again a burger was missing, which unfortunately we only noticed when we got home. Unfortunately, no one was reachable by phone. Really pathetic...

Despite the empty shop, the wait was usually long. So this isn't a quick restaurant. Edit: was there again and regret it. The store is a disaster. It was really the last time

You are cheated out of burgers, 2 pieces upon request, where they are you are insulted. They don't know HYGIENE, who is the boss that something like this is tolerated?

McDonald's, like everywhere else. The staff was a bit overwhelmed but still very nice. Food as always, I really enjoy eating it.

The employees try very hard to produce "fast" food quickly, which sometimes doesn't quite work. The two nice gentlemen at the checkout are very friendly, but their foreman bullies them so much that it borders on being embarrassing.

As if it wasn't bad enough that we had the wrong sauce for our McFlurry, the man at the drive was extremely unfriendly and didn't understand anything. Maybe we should let more competent people take over

Very nice staff, accounts even in English and German. And it tastes just like in Germany - no difference to notice.

Anyone who eats, in addition to the usual, somewhat tolerable noise of other visitors, hears a constant, loud "Peeeeep, peeeeep!" from any deep fryers or similar devices, which can sometimes be a continuous tone, is right here. Everyone else should avoid this "restaurant". One can only feel pity for anyone who has to stay here for longer than 5 minutes, e.g. the employees.

There wasn't much going on, but we still had to wait forever for our food. The net potatoes, which were the last to be cooked, seem to have been ready for a while. Tasted totally stale. Table numbers were not replenished at the terminals. Table service would probably overwhelm them. Unfortunately, we were no longer able to clear away the tray as both tray drop-off points were already overflowing with rubbish. One Fanta had small crumbs of dirt inside. But it was replaced without any problems.

Toilets in an absolutely destroyed condition, toilet cannot be locked because it is broken, half of the food is cold, the shop is endlessly dirty. Never again

Hold on tight because my experience will blow your socks off: I was in the restaurant at night and wanted to order a Mcflurry. When I ordered this, my grandma at the checkout told me that it wasn't my first time here and that I should know that there is no ice cream at this time of day. No, I don't need to know, I found it really outrageous how I was hit on there. Afterwards she offered me a coke and I wanted my money back, she gave me €2.99 back even though the ice cream cost €3.99. But the spat doesn't end there because my friend's 6-piece chicken nuggets were missing. Afterwards I had to wait 20 minutes for my chicken burger. Sorry but with staff like that you won't see me there again.

The sleaziest store I've ever seen. Mountains of packaging waste on the tables, spilled drinks. Dirty, partially broken toilets and a branch manager who only grins when you complain. Unfortunately you have to pay in advance, otherwise we would have left the store quickly...never again!!

Staff totally overwhelmed. 6 customers in the store. I waited almost 20 minutes for my food. Cleanliness in the store as well as in the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired.

Disappointing! The order itself was an act. Although I had ordered mayo with the fries in the menu, the receipt said there was no sauce and I only got it after a long discussion. I am absolutely in favor of integrating refugees, but I expect at least a minimum of understandable communication and friendliness when serving. The supervisor solved the problem, but without eye contact or apology. Sad! Instead of the Caesar chicken wrap I ordered, I got a sweet chili wrap, which I only realized halfway through the wrap because the packaging didn't show it and the sauce only came further down in the wrap. Complaint was not possible because I ate on the way. However, the correct wrap was stated in the receipt. It's a shame and absolutely not recommended.

Extremely long waiting times (Sunday)

One of the most chaotic MD restaurants ever... Also very unhygienic, as the kitchen staff repeatedly accepts money and then prepares food again without cleaning/disinfecting. The floor was very dirty, the waiting times (for fast food) were extreme, the ice cream machine was constantly broken or was already cleaned 1-2 hours before the end and then no longer in use. What a shame! Definitely could be better.

Super unfriendly and incompetent staff, no overview of the orders, and the entire menu was forgotten after I had already said that the drinks were missing. If I worked like that, I would be unemployed.

As always at McDonald's there is no salad on the menu. This has been going on for months now. One less customer.

Here you have to wait a long time for your food, or you have to wait a long time before you can even take the order (drive). Disappointing. According to the internet and the app, it should be open until 1 a.m. So you drive there after work full of joy and with a growling stomach, you get there at 11:10 p.m., want to go in to order and all you get is a shake of the head from the lady behind the counter. We immediately turned back and didn't order anything. If you only accept orders via MCdrive after a certain time, you should perhaps note this, otherwise I would advise employees to think about changing jobs. Zero points and thumbs down.

Today around 3:45 p.m. we took a menu with 2x chicken burger fries and cola on site. I've been sitting on the toilet for an hour now with diarrhea.

Unfortunately, waiting times are now very long, both in McDrive and in the restaurant. The summit was once a 30 minute wait. That was definitely the last time that my daughter and I were there, and many other customers also commented on it there. 05/22/24 approx. 5:30 p.m. Normal number of customers, so not much. Personnel ratio: Ideal 1. The toilets were unbelievably filthy. 2. A personal order in the branch was rudely rejected by the staff (refusal to work) and ran away. 3. There was leftover food everywhere in the serving waiting area. 4. Waiting time for a Happy Meal 20 minutes. 5. The food was only lukewarm. Conclusion: The branch management failed completely and the subordinate staff unfortunately didn't shine either.

Beautifully furnished in and of itself. Unfortunately that was it. Ordered two menus, a 20 nuggets and two extra chicken burgers. One burger was missing, two were wrong, the sauces ordered 1 right 1 wrong 1 was completely missing. We waited a total of 27 minutes for the order with light to medium operation. Ordered table service, none. Toilet, soap dispenser poorly glued with tape and no towel paper. In summary: Unfortunately, it failed across the board. The staff was hectically running around and was completely overwhelmed. What should be there when it gets full.

Waited 18 minutes for a cappuccino at an empty shop. Service totally unfriendly. Toilets dirty as always.

The slowest McD I've ever been to. Employees extremely unmotivated. Soap dispenser in men's toilet has been broken for months.
