My criticism goes to the store management, not to the team: ❄️ Ice cold! It was colder inside than outside in February - eating burgers in a winter jacket? I can't do it. 👥 Understaffed! Three people for the whole store? Of course, mistakes happen. Our group ordering was a challenge. ♻️ Sustainability? Oh well. Despite ordering in Recup cups, disposable cups came. ✅ The positive: fries and burgers were great! But no “KingDeals”, no “BigKing” and a broken coffee machine – what a shame!

I don't even know where to start, so I'll go through the visit chronologically. In the drive I was told that EC payments were only possible in the restaurant, ok, I thought, then we can sit down. Once inside we noticed that the heating was apparently broken and it was extremely cold. Even the employees who were running and working the whole time had winter jackets and thick sweaters on (it is currently February). Speaking of employees, they were polite and tried hard, but completely understaffed and hardly able to keep up with the rush. We had the food packed to take away and ate it in the (warm) car. Then the next fear was confirmed: the food was no longer even lukewarm. The fries were untypically limp from Burger King and the drinks were non-carbonated. It's a shame, I was happy about the reopening. To the owner/franchisee: They should do a little more than the bare minimum and spruce up the place. Otherwise, like the last time you closed, your customers will run away.

The place used to be really bad, but mainly because of the preparation time. Today we wanted to place two orders. The first one went smoothly. With the second one we would be told that there are no more rolls for chrispy chicken, long chicken, hamburgers, cheeseburgers etc. There was no information posted for customers, the ordering machine seemed to know, but we only asked about it. But we couldn't return our first order, so only one of us could eat. In addition, the air conditioning is set to what feels like 5 degrees. Never again Citizen King and especially not this store.

We wanted to order a simple hamburger - that's not possible, they're out of meat (6:55 p.m., closing time is 9 p.m.). Small bugs are no longer just big ones. We should drive up to the counter. We were greeted by an unfriendly employee with an Addidas jacket and sweatpants, work clothes are probably no longer available. He then told us that the grill for the small meat (?) was broken and only the grill for the big meat (?) and the big burgers worked...

It's a shame...the doors have still not been repaired for almost 5 months now, when me and my partner noticed this. Even after a complaint email to Burgerking's customer service, who assured us that they would take care of the problem, nothing happened. The employees stand at the counter and in the kitchen in down jackets and private clothing to be prepared for the cold. The service from the employees is good despite the adverse circumstances. That's why the service is given 4 stars. What I'm worried about, however, are the hygiene requirements that have to be met. As far as I know, this doesn't necessarily conform to private clothing. In addition, I wouldn't be surprised if the employees constantly have colds due to the cold. I wouldn't even want to imagine having to work in such conditions, and that comes from a Marine soldier who actively goes to sea and is used to the cold, but we just have the clothing for it. The Burger King management here also seems to be completely inactive when it comes to the problem. All in all, I feel sorry for the employees and the associated quality standard shrinks to a minimum because the food is cold in just a few minutes. We ordered something to "eat here", but we will eat it outside in the car because the temperature inside feels lower than the temperature outside. All in all, it's a shame that no action follows adequate criticism. We'll probably stop by again in six months or so... until then we'd rather eat warm food at the competition around the corner.

(Jan 2025) In the meantime we have a fun guessing game when we just drive past there. Is the store open or not? The shop is often closed during the week... (Sep 2024) Things aren't getting any better. Wanted to eat there again. Unfortunately I left without food because the shop was completely closed. It was not possible to find out whether this was just an isolated case. That won't work........ (Oct 2020) after a while I wanted to eat a delicious Wopper again. But at the entrance I was greeted by a sign that said “electronic payment only possible”. Okay, that's the end of this visit. Dear franchisee, despite Corona, cash is still an official means of payment in Germany that you have to accept and it's hard to believe, there are still people who are old school and want to pay with cash. So thanks for nothing. -- 4 years older - 3 stars ------- Things haven't been easy for Burger King since the negative headlines. Unfortunately, in this store you can see that the store is working at the lower limit. Not all cash registers are available anymore. The staff is limited to the feasible minimum. The cash register system is outdated and cannot record Payback points. The cleanliness in the store needs improvement. The furniture has also seen better days. The food is OK. Most of the time you have to wait a moment because the burgers are freshly made. What confused me on one of my last visits was why not all the dishes were on the menu. The vegetarian country burger is not advertised, that would be a way to attract customers.

Unfortunately you have to give one star. Before the renovation, I was actually always happy there, sometimes the burger was lukewarm, but it tasted good. This time, specifically Monday February 3rd, 2025, I can't think of anything else. Point 1 The store itself is very unclean, there are leftover fries stuck to the floor and other things that you shouldn't think about. The burger was so-so, you could eat it, it didn't really taste good. The chicken nuggets had a hint of rancid fat, the fries were the only thing that could be described as good, but only until you dipped them in the fries sauce. It had such a disgusting artificial machine taste that it still makes me shudder today. For me, Burger King is dead until further notice

If you're the first customer to stand in front of a closed door at 11 a.m. and it doesn't open until 10 minutes later, that's still okay. The dining room makes a good impression visually from the furniture. However, I don't think it's okay if there are old fries under benches when the restaurant opens, i.e. before another customer has been there, trash that has been dropped lying around in the aisle and there are skid marks in the toilet. These things would have to be from the day before and unfortunately I have to question the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Some of the people who wait at the drive-in even return because the orders take far too long to process. I wonder why the store isn't just closed down.

Well, aside from having to look for the BBQ sauce on the new rib... (seriously that's not possible). The shop is freezing cold (even the staff are wearing jackets) because the doors neither close on their own nor stay closed when you push them shut yourself. The ambience no longer exists, the whole store seems sterilized. Even if there were guests, the store would stifle the atmosphere. It seems as if you don't expect too many guests anymore, as there only seem to be 2 employees.

Because of the Wallraf reports from rtl, I haven't been to Burger King in ages! But today's experience unfortunately confirmed everything and made it even worse. This store has an internal temperature like a freezer store. we could see our breath while speaking (no exaggeration) / and this also reflects the other reviews. And based on the reviews available, that seems to have been the case for a long time!!! The employees work in down jackets??? !!However, praise to the employees who make the best of it…. !! Complaint about the fries being cold after 1 minute was dealt with immediately and there were 4 new menus. + Sorry! BUT it shouldn't be like that. When I asked why it was so cold, it was explained to me that the air conditioning system was defective and was always cooling. ??? When I asked, I was told that no one knew how to deactivate the air conditioning. ??? It all sounds strange and not recommended/so it's best to give it 0 stars and avoid it

I'm unsure whether I should feel more sorry for myself or for the two employees behind the counter who have to look at customers' angry and disappointed faces all day long. This store is truly incredible. After the store was closed for several weeks for a company meeting (🤔), according to the sign at the entrance, it is now open again. No idea if the owners have changed again. During my last visit, the front door was permanently open and the drive-thru window was on the other side. The temperature in the store was a maximum of 5 degrees. Outside about 1 degree. All 3 customers had jackets on and hats on. The burgers wouldn't have tasted bad at all, but they were just cold! Apparently ice-cold cheese slices and then cold jalapenos or lettuce and tomatoes were put on the warm patties. The breads were also not warmed up. Oh yes, the One Piece shirts were of course not available in sizes over M. Unfortunately, the only option left in the future will be McDonald's.

NOT recommended!!! It's been a long time since we've been to this Burger King. At the ordering terminal we noticed that the room temperature was no higher than 5 degrees, and our breath could be seen as a cloud of steam. We ordered anyway, which we quickly regretted. About 30 minutes later we were allowed to pick up our food and noticed that many things were very cold. Other guests have already complained to the very limited staff employed and were dismissed in annoyance. The cola was warmer than the Burger King itself. I just think it's a disgrace not to be able to enjoy a reasonable room temperature given the prices have already risen so much and then also get cold food. I would prefer not to give a star at all.

In principle the food itself was okay, nothing special but I've eaten worse. The shop itself is very cold, as if the heating is on fire and the cola is warm, the staff themselves advise against the soft drinks. Burgers themselves were okay and arrived quickly. I've known the shop for years and come here about once a year, it's amazing to see how it has deteriorated over the years.

We were at Mc Drive around 8:30 p.m. and ordered these chili cheese fries, among others. They were "cold" and mixed with cold curlys "disgusting" I actually think there were some leftovers that had been shoveled together. They weren't even warm anymore. We waited for 20 minutes even though there were no customers in front of us or behind us. I'm really shocked. The onion rings were so hard and instead of 6 there were more in them. Then the service didn't know what was on the menu (said several times that the tortilla wasn't available as a menu, but it was on the display right in front of us, but in the end it worked). The waiting time was relatively okay. Ordered burger without cheese, it was even verbally confirmed that it came with cheese, of course. Ketchup was forgotten. Everything cold... We are aware that the employees are under immense pressure and that they are not necessarily always able to do something about some of the circumstances in such working relationships! But our last visit there will also have been our last: 1. Toilets incredibly dirty!!! 2. Waited 15 minutes for food! 3. Ordered and paid for reusable cups, but they weren't available and we had to ask for the 2 euros back. 4. Bun of the burger cold. 5. Fries half warm! 6.ENVIRONMENT:Sure, fast food with disposable packaging! Nevertheless, you can save resources! HOW CAN YOU PUSH A STRAW AND THE PLASTIC CUP COVER ON EVERY GUEST'S EYE WHEN ORDING IN A RESTAURANT?! HOW NONSENSE IS THAT AND WHY DON'T YOU THINK THAT IT COULD BE SAVING!? IN ADDITION, THERE SHOULD BE REUSABLE CUPS!! WE HOPE THIS WILL BE CHANGED,(((((((( We will not eat here again and will not recommend this branch! The operators should think about how they can improve the circumstances mentioned above, for example! Abnormal. The store was completely full (6/7 p.m.), and it's really incomprehensible that there were only three people assigned to it at that time on Friday: a woman and a man in the kitchen and a man at the checkout who was also doing the drive-thru. had to operate (extreme pressure). This made the waiting time extremely long and frustrating for the guests! However, you can't blame the employees! They did their best under the circumstances. I visited the restaurant that had a sign on the door that said “open until 9 p.m.,” but the restaurant was closed. I noticed that there were at least three employees inside. I went to an employee and asked why it was closed. He told me he was going to call the manager so he came screaming and threatening me to leave or he would attack me. The manager tried to jump out the window to attack me, an employee had to restrain him... I would like to do it Do you know if this is the standard of service in your company? What's up? We were there again for the first time after the bad experiences about 10 years ago because we had the hope that something had changed. It doesn't!! Sad because the problems could be fixed without spending a lot of money. This was our last visit...we live in the area and would be regular customers. Points: - Both fans in the toilets for F/M are defective! There are no alternative towels. - The ladies don't even have trash cans...that says a lot. - Toilets are extremely dirty even though there was nothing going on in the store. - Tables were ALL dirty. As I said, there was nothing going on and the employees had enough time! - Before us there were 2 customers. There has already been a complaint there about incorrect delivery. We were missing the Cola with ice. Nothing serious and was corrected immediately, but when there is so little going on it doesn't indicate any careful work. - Atmosphere is bad. No music or melody, the employees fall asleep while talking, but are friendly. Conclusion: I can only advise you not to buy here. Since the rating is currently 3.4 stars and all reviews are repeated, there seems to be no interest from the owner in offering quality here. This is a shame for Burger King.

Just because of the convenient location, I was happy to take something to eat here. With all the friendly staff - Since Corona, people have felt like a disruptive factor there. Ordering yourself on the keyboard and working your way through a program that leads you to the expensive products is not my thing. Even if you order at the drive-thru, only the expensive ones are really legible and highlighted on the boards, the simple burgers are hidden in the barely legible and small print area. Today I've been back for two years- However, please refrain from doing so again in the future. Cash payments are now possible again, But you can only order via the screens. There were four people at the table in the shop and six were waiting. And waited. There was nothing going on behind the counter; two employees, who only had a minimal command of German, were trying to work. Anyone who neither respects their employees enough to pay them in a way that shows motivation nor their customers with a human touch Service handled should be a mail order business from China and not here in the catering industry

It wasn't possible to order on the drive and we were sent away with the advice to order inside or drive back. However, the 3 cars in front of us were all still being served - incomprehensible. The employees seem overwhelmed, stressed and annoyed, if I hadn't already paid I would have gone back - > because you didn't feel welcome there. Waiting time almost 30 minutes!! There was a sign at the front saying no drinks at the moment - that shouldn't be the case either.

My husband and I aren't necessarily fast food fans. Thanks to our daughter (17), we have been to McDonald's a few times. When we were shopping alone, we bravely decided to try Burger King because it seemed more tempting to us. Well. Our experience at McDonalds: - Order at the terminal stating the table number, pay at the terminal. Sitting down at the table (clean), waiting for the order to be delivered, delivery, delicious. Everyone, including “auxiliary staff,” greets you in a friendly manner. After 25 minutes we are through with 4 people - fast food. Conclusion: efficient, clean, friendly, relaxed Our experience at Burger King: - Order and pay at the counter - Choice of table, unfortunately only dirty tables were available - At the table you have to listen carefully to the counter the whole time to see if the staff is calling out your order - Waited 35 minutes at the table until some of the 4 burgers were ready - it became apparent that the return stations were completely full - 2 burgers were ready 5 minutes later - After 45 minutes we had the 4 burgers - that doesn't sound like fast food Conclusion: unclean, unfriendly (it's really stressful to wait 45 minutes for a quiet voice at the counter far away to say your order number, it's stupid if as a customer you have to wait 10 minutes at the counter for the forgotten burger to be delivered ), no modern ordering process. My husband and I would never set foot in a Burger King again. This is mainly due to the fact that far too few staff are obviously employed. Because it felt like the 3 people were so busy that no one had time to wipe the tables or anything like that... Too bad. But for us it was an absolute negative experience.

Would love to be able to rate the food, service and ambience. The only problem is that I can't do this because the shop already closes at 7 p.m. (If not sooner) Although it says on the internet until 9pm and on the door until 8pm. Absolutely not recommended. There weren't even any fries left. The items were freshly prepared and tasty, but when you don't even get fries, that's sad. The toilets are an absolute disaster. There was toilet paper all over the floor and the toilets looked like they were cleaned very irregularly and sloppily. Deposits from I know how long ago. Looked very unappetizing. We don't go there anymore.

Wasn't that plump... If you place an order via PC... it suddenly crashes. At the counter, with great difficulty, we explained to the nice employee what we wanted...unfortunately he understood very little, but then it worked! The surprise after paying, the nice employee only then informed us that there were no fries at the moment... why only now and not during the ordering process???? Money back.....not possible 🤨 just a voucher. We then accepted the free offer of 2x 6 nuggets. Plus point...cold burgers were exchanged for hot ones without any problems. The cleanliness is really bad.....Our 8 year old said about the condition of the toilet, then I'd love to pee in the bush. I feel sick here in the toilet. The general impression of cleanliness...negative. The nice employee had gloves on, but he didn't even change them between taking out the garbage, checking out the cash register and preparing the food on the trays.

The vegan burgers are surprisingly good. Chili Cheese Nugget and the Whooper were delicious. It's a shame that the drinks are more expensive than the burgers. So unfortunately we didn't have anything to drink. But the rest was good.

I once really fancied a Citizen King... Haven't had one for a long time but what's on the table is, from a culinary point of view, a rape of food. Unfortunately I have to give a star in order to post... But it's buried in the 5th basement... The Wopper roll fell into a state of shock and there was really only a corner of a lettuce leaf next to a lonely and abandoned onion ring... It's unbelievable how you manage to do something like that. I still had onion rings that were probably fried again to warm them up... crispy is something else 🙄 The cola with ice was warmer than the fries 😳 My conclusion is NEVER AGAIN IN REISDORF TO THE BURGER KING... It's a shame what happened to the store... It's a shame 😞 He won't survive for long...

So we were only at the other bk towards Eckernförde. According to the Bk app it was open. When we got there after 20 minutes of driving, it was closed. We arrived at this bk at around 7:20 p.m. There was already a notice outside that said it was open from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. I couldn't order correctly at the terminal. Because only one out of 4 pieces worked. Then I'll be there to serve you. First of all totally unfriendly and totally annoyed. True to the motto “Customer threatens to order”. Yes OK. get food. Everything was limp (onion rings not cross) and almost cold (double wopper). All customers after us were kicked out because the store supposedly closed at 7:30 p.m. No explanation etc. We were allowed to eat it, but it was stupid when you had children with you who wanted ice cream... that was still available at McDonalds... Toilets totally disgusting. It feels like it hasn't been cleaned in months. I was previously in Denmark. Super clean.

The staff is bored. We had to wait a long time for the food even though there were a total of 4 tables in the restaurant. Feb 2025: unfortunately the quality is declining here too. We wanted to eat in the restaurant, but decided to take the food with us because of the dirty tables. Unfortunately, we then had a communication problem with a service person who unfortunately didn't speak enough German, but didn't ask back in English either. That would have made the whole thing easier. Nov 2023: Operation on the drive currently takes a very long time. It took us 15 minutes from lining up in the short queue (3 vehicles in front of us) to accepting our food. Little tricks are used so that this doesn't show up in the restaurant's statistics.
