Very disappointing. The service was very slow, and the staff seemed tired. One employee swept the floor, took the payment, and then packaged the food without gloves – no hygiene standards. We won't be back.

The food was generally ok but the chicken in wraps was clearly overcooked. The service could be better - at first they tried to skip our coffee claiming that the coffee machine was either broken or turned off (because it was already 11pm) but eventually they turned it on and prepared a very nice coffee. What was a complete failure is the men's toiled - so awfully smelling toilet I have never seen in McDonalds chain globally, absolutely disgusting and non-compliant with cleanliness standards of the trademark.

The order arrived incomplete despite friendly warnings! They told me I was lying! But they want to take your money! Once and never again! Very unfriendly and arrogant.

I've been attending this MC for over 5 years... In general they are always friendly and the food is good and hot. I'm not going to say they're perfect... Sometimes they make their little mistakes, but as soon as we say something, they quickly rectify it. Today in particular I want to thank you because in 10 minutes (at 10 pm) and we already had everything on the table, although there were a lot of people. We picked up a Happy Meal for our little girl. When it arrived, there were no toys inside. When we asked, they said, "There aren't any!" How can that be? Then they should have pointed it out when ordering! The fries were completely burnt, the burgers (crispy chicken and Big Tasty) fell apart carelessly and were cold in the box... Never again McDonald's Merzig!

You're at the dive-in at 8:10 and wait almost 20 minutes. The online opening hours are 8:00, but I called and they said no, 9:00 because of a holiday. Then, damn it, they put it online, too. There were five cars behind me.

Very cramped and small parking lot. A slightly larger car has no room. Only two monitors work for orders out of four. The card does not work, you have to pay at the cashier. I waited for an hour. McDonald's Germany still has 100 years to reach the level of McDonald's UK or France. A lot of garbage everywhere. Very messy. I got stuck in the parking lot simply because of the crowd. I had to drive half the car on the curb. The messiest McDonald's. I have never experienced anything like this even in Romania or Bulgaria. I am seriously considering suing this McDonald's. I will never go to any McDonald's in Germany again

Worst service ever! Unfriendly staff, the ordering machines don't work, and despite the problem being known, the employees couldn't care less. Food was cold, slapped together carelessly. McDonalds should finally take action.

Card payments were never uncool for anyone at the terminal. The service was even more annoying... even more uncool. Pretty much the worst MC I know.

Today at McDonald's was really bad. Not only us, but everyone waited forever for their food. We stood in line for almost 45 minutes for two burgers and an ice cream, without anyone saying anything or apologizing. The people around us were also totally annoyed. In the end, the food was cold – that just shouldn't happen.

Remember to bring books or a tablet with you, because you'll be waiting!!! 20 minutes to get just a fries and two small burgers. 20 minutes with a complaint, otherwise we would have definitely waited up to half an hour.

We've been to Mecces in Merzig many times, but what happened on July 22, 2025, around 8:30 p.m. is just not acceptable! Ordered food at 8:30 p.m. First the food at 8:50 p.m. (fries arrived 5 minutes later) Kids were very hungry Two of our McDonald's arrived COLD! I asked the man to take them back, because you want warm food, after all, you're paying for it! 10 minutes later, still no burger in sight... I went to the cashier and confronted the person... then we got our McDonald's (unfortunately lukewarm again), oh well!!! My daughter (4) had to do her business in the bathroom... no toilet paper (another bathroom was occupied) I asked someone to bring paper... after 10 minutes, someone came with a roll 🤨 Dirty and disgusting!!! Sorry, but if you have a lot to do, you either need to hire more staff, organize things better, or at least understand us when we talk to you!

Didn't get a burger before GTA 6

It's always cold in the place, so you have to wear a jacket to eat. The food is cold, and my ice cream was a popsicle, not a McFlurry. When I complained, they suddenly ran out of ice cream, and then I got a dried-out donut that was €2 cheaper. I wasn't offered a refund. My friend didn't get any ice cream, and when he didn't want anything else, he didn't get a refund. I'd rather not give it a star at all, because I won't eat anything else. Also, the staff is very unfriendly. I was there today for the first time in a long time, but the conditions are just as bad: tables not cleared or cleaned, the floor covered in leftover food and dirt, so that will be my last visit. I'd rather go to Luxembourg, where everything is great. I wonder if the owner even cares about the reviews, because nothing's changing.

Our order at the McDrive-Thru was taken quickly and very friendly. Then something happened that left me speechless. While I was paying with the friendly employee at the counter, the "shift supervisor or boss" came over and, in a completely inappropriately loud tone, called the employee away, so we as customers had to wait. I don't know how the customers in the restaurant felt, but we in the drive-thru were embarrassed by such disrespectful behavior. Terrible. The five burgers were all hard and cold. The wait was probably 20 minutes on a Sunday morning, and the wrap speaks for itself. Unfortunately, that was the last time we were there.

Every time, something is packed incorrectly or something is missing from the order. We have more problems in this store than in any other. After every drive-thru order, we have to check and file a complaint.

Disappointing Visit – McDonald's Merzig Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is anything but inviting – the restaurant feels dated, dirty, and poorly maintained. Tables were sticky, the floor dirty, and there was a general lack of cleanliness. The prices are now significantly too high for the quality offered. The entire concept seems outdated. It's no comparison to other, more modern branches. Definitely not a place I'd happily return to.

Drive-thru: Ordered and paid for food not received. Unfortunately, we didn't notice it until we were on the highway. Judging by the many bad reviews, there seems to be a system in place here. Is it intentional? At the very least, gross negligence.

It has nothing to do with the original "fast food" anymore. Back then, some of the products might not have been quite as hot, but compared to the waiting times today, it was far more pleasant and acceptable.

The BigMac is now as small as a cheeseburger, the cardboard straw is only available upon request, the tap has been broken for weeks, the hand dryer is broken, and the constant beeping from the machines is a horror, and not just for the customers. Savings are being made at every turn and it is more expensive than ever. If the kids didn't ask me every few weeks, I would definitely never come back. Loveless and inferior.

I like going to this restaurant! The employees are all friendly and accommodating. A lady with a headscarf in particular stands out to me - she always greets you warmly with a smile and asks: "How can I help you?" /Here you go/, would you like to order something or are you just waiting?", Even when you leave she wishes you a nice morning, afternoon or evening, depending on the time of day. I always notice her friendliness in a positive way - she really does a great job. Regarding cleanliness and orders: If there is a lot going on and there is a long line of orders, then it just takes a little longer. Even if something is forgotten - of course, that shouldn't happen, but we are all just human. A little patience and understanding are simply part of it.

Very bad experience today. We ordered two menus with free Fanta, but only received one. When we asked, we were simply told that there was no more - with no alternative or excuse, even though we still paid the deposit. Then the milkshake came without a straw... not exactly practical. The fries weren't even cooked properly - totally soggy and almost raw. Long waiting time for simple products, no accommodation, no apology. Really disappointing - that's not how you should treat customers.

On March 30, 2025, at 9:00 PM, I ordered a McFlurry from McDonald's. The order was deliberately marked as "ready" by the staff, even though it wasn't yet prepared—just to artificially reduce the average processing time and give them an advantage in the internal competition between stores. Meanwhile, the team stood around idly, chatting instead of working. When I asked about it, the manager initially claimed there was no such order and accused me of making a mistake. Only later did she find the order in the list of completed orders and finally prepared it—without even apologizing. This behavior is not only unprofessional, but also intentionally misleading and disrespectful to customers. I demand that appropriate action be taken against this manager. This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated.

UPDATE: They've since contacted me. They apologized and plan to enforce stricter hygiene controls at this branch in the future. I also received two vouchers. That's a good thing. After years, I decided to go back here. Unfortunately, it was a bad decision. The prices are now beyond exorbitant, and a Big Mac is now only the size of a cheeseburger. The staff is listless, and you don't get a greeting or a "have a nice day." What I found in my Sprite was the last straw for me. Luckily, I removed the lid from the cup first. Today I was at McDonald Merzig. I ordered two plain cheeseburgers. I got two chili cheeseburgers. After the complaint, instead of 2 plain cheeseburgers, I got two normal ones, which were only luke warm. The bad thing was that the employees only listened with one ear. And to make matters worse, there wasn't even anything going on. The 🍔 were only luke warm. I didn't feel like complaining anymore. Tried again after a long time, fell in again.

There wasn't much going on here and we still had to wait 10 minutes at the drive-in counter for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 shakes and 1 portion of fries. Well, it can happen, BUT…. The fries were dripping with grease and extremely salty. The burgers were poorly packaged and were in the bag without their paper. Nothing served The shakes worked, at least something positive. I can't say whether it was due to the unmotivated staff or something else. I'd rather go somewhere else in the future.

Ordered something to take away this morning, both muffin Saturdays and egg were without eggs. In addition, mc toast with Baron was without Baron, so something like that just doesn't work, unfortunately it was only noticed at home...

The handling at the Drive Inn and the service have improved significantly!👌 keep it up..... Were at the Drive Inn yesterday. Waiting in line too long.... Dip for shrimp not in the bag. My niece was in the store afterwards. No dip received. Apparently none there. Employee rolled her eyes. Sorry, but they don't taste good without dip.

We went to Mc Drive to order. There were 3 menus, we paid and waited at the 2nd counter for over 10 minutes. Then we were told in a rather unfriendly manner whether we could drive to the side 'quickly' where we then had to wait another 8 minutes. What was strange was the car behind us (a friend of ours) received its order immediately, as did the other two cars... Finally someone came and gave us the bag and drinks and apologized for the long wait. We checked the order in the bag and oh wonder as always something was missing in this McDonald's, back to the counter,... wait,... Finally we have everything. Almost everything at home was cold and we were able to throw away the fries. The sauce was missing on the MC Rib Burger... Next time we'll either go to another McDonald's or straight to Burger King where the employees enjoy working and are friendly and you don't think that the boss is behind it with the whip! In itself, the fast food restaurant didn't deserve a star but had to do one in order to be able to write the recession.

When it comes to service, there is absolutely no limit to incompetence throughout the entire company, no employee makes a motivated impression and they can't handle an order without missing content. The food was impossible, everything was cold, a Mc Rib (if you know the burger there must be sauce stuck everywhere, your fingers get dirty with the burger) well unfortunately I can't say that because the sauce wasn't there!!! No onion, no sauce, just pickles! Even just a single one, sadly, but with additional training in preparing well-known burgers you should be able to put a stop to this problem. Speed, so the word "fast" in fast food is definitely not the case here. Waiting 30 minutes for a half-cobbled-together meal, well that's different! If I could give fewer stars I would deduct 5... so check your orders because half of them will be missing anyway.

We only drank one coffee, which also gets 4 stars...it was delicious. Aaabut the tables outside were totally dirty, inside there was a similar picture, not quite as extreme. The bulging tray cart left me no choice but to place the tray on top. I wouldn't have said anything if the store had been full, but I could count the customers on one hand. Sorry, I won't need it again anytime soon.

My partner & I were there for the first time today. We ordered. At first it took forever, as if the food was freshly cooked, which isn't the case + plus the shop was almost empty. Then our food came & the burger was cold. It can't be. An MA with light brown colored hair and curls wanted to bring me a new one. Understood. When I had eaten my other burger, the fries were empty & over half an hour had passed... there was still no burger. Meanwhile, another employee walked past us, heard us complaining, and skillfully ignored it. I then went to the front and asked what was going on with my burger, by now the rest had been eaten. It was clear: nobody knew anything about it. She then wanted to make me a new one, I read the note there. 10 minutes later she came to ask which burger it was again. It can't be. Well after another 20 minutes passed we got the burger. When we complained again about the service and the whole situation, we were told by the long-haired woman with dark brown hair with an accent that she couldn't do anything about it. That's nice, but if 3 of the 6-8 employees screw up, that's all your beer. There is clearly a lack of communication in the team and also respect. We prefer not to talk about toilet hygiene. You couldn't sit down, even if you held your pants forward you still got wet with urine. The pants. Great, thanks for that. The floor by the toilet was wet and full of toilet paper. So sry but whoever the manager is... with a tour like that you can close the shop straight away. I cannot recommend this store & would stay away from it. In the 1.5 hour 3 more complained. One got a cold coffee & when she got a new one the MA rolled her eyes behind her back & looked at her spitefully in front of other customers?! Boy then do your job right & don't get cheeky (the ones with the accent behind the counter).

Very tasty food, unfortunately every time I get severe diarrhea from the BigMac sauce, I can barely make it to the toilet and then whoosh. I'm often disturbed by the staff while doing business and the looks when you come out aren't exactly nice either. All in all, I would like to see more discretion on your part.
