McDonald's in Merzig

The handling at the Drive Inn and the service have improved significantly!👌 keep it up..... Were at the Drive Inn yesterday. Waiting in line too long.... Dip for shrimp not in the bag. My niece was in the store afterwards. No dip received. Apparently none there. Employee rolled her eyes. Sorry, but they don't taste good without dip.

We went to Mc Drive to order. There were 3 menus, we paid and waited at the 2nd counter for over 10 minutes. Then we were told in a rather unfriendly manner whether we could drive to the side 'quickly' where we then had to wait another 8 minutes. What was strange was the car behind us (a friend of ours) received its order immediately, as did the other two cars... Finally someone came and gave us the bag and drinks and apologized for the long wait. We checked the order in the bag and oh wonder as always something was missing in this McDonald's, back to the counter,... wait,... Finally we have everything. Almost everything at home was cold and we were able to throw away the fries. The sauce was missing on the MC Rib Burger... Next time we'll either go to another McDonald's or straight to Burger King where the employees enjoy working and are friendly and you don't think that the boss is behind it with the whip! In itself, the fast food restaurant didn't deserve a star but had to do one in order to be able to write the recession.

Where should I start? When it comes to service, there is absolutely no limit to incompetence throughout the entire company, no employee makes a motivated impression and they can't handle an order without missing content. The food was impossible, everything was cold, a Mc Rib (if you know the burger there must be sauce stuck everywhere, your fingers get dirty with the burger) well unfortunately I can't say that because the sauce wasn't there!!! No onion, no sauce, just pickles! Even just a single one, sadly, but with additional training in preparing well-known burgers you should be able to put a stop to this problem. Speed, so the word "fast" in fast food is definitely not the case here. Waiting 30 minutes for a half-cobbled-together meal, well that's different! If I could give fewer stars I would deduct 5... so check your orders because half of them will be missing anyway.

Systematically pressing the order to “ready for pickup” even though the preparation of the order hasn’t even started yet. Then you can also give yourself the gift of the entire ordering process.

Acoustically one of the worst branches I know. Something is constantly beeping and beeping at different pitches and at a penetrating volume, sometimes for minutes. You feel like you're in a slot machine casino.

We only drank one coffee, which also gets 4 stars...it was delicious. Aaabut the tables outside were totally dirty, inside there was a similar picture, not quite as extreme. The bulging tray cart left me no choice but to place the tray on top. I wouldn't have said anything if the store had been full, but I could count the customers on one hand. Sorry, I won't need it again anytime soon.

Had lunch with my grandson today, we all enjoyed it and were fed up. We sat outside in the sun. And my grandson had fun on the slide 🥳 We would love to come back 👍👍👍

My partner & I were there for the first time today. We ordered. At first it took forever, as if the food was freshly cooked, which isn't the case + plus the shop was almost empty. Then our food came & the burger was cold. It can't be. An MA with light brown colored hair and curls wanted to bring me a new one. Understood. When I had eaten my other burger, the fries were empty & over half an hour had passed... there was still no burger. Meanwhile, another employee walked past us, heard us complaining, and skillfully ignored it. I then went to the front and asked what was going on with my burger, by now the rest had been eaten. It was clear: nobody knew anything about it. She then wanted to make me a new one, I read the note there. 10 minutes later she came to ask which burger it was again. It can't be. Well after another 20 minutes passed we got the burger. When we complained again about the service and the whole situation, we were told by the long-haired woman with dark brown hair with an accent that she couldn't do anything about it. That's nice, but if 3 of the 6-8 employees screw up, that's all your beer. There is clearly a lack of communication in the team and also respect. We prefer not to talk about toilet hygiene. You couldn't sit down, even if you held your pants forward you still got wet with urine. The pants. Great, thanks for that. The floor by the toilet was wet and full of toilet paper. So sry but whoever the manager is... with a tour like that you can close the shop straight away. I cannot recommend this store & would stay away from it. In the 1.5 hour 3 more complained. One got a cold coffee & when she got a new one the MA rolled her eyes behind her back & looked at her spitefully in front of other customers?! Boy then do your job right & don't get cheeky (the ones with the accent behind the counter).

Very tasty food, unfortunately every time I get severe diarrhea from the BigMac sauce, I can barely make it to the toilet and then whoosh. I'm often disturbed by the staff while doing business and the looks when you come out aren't exactly nice either. All in all, I would like to see more discretion on your part. Half of the machines were not in operation. The order took forever. Then we had to watch for 40 minutes as orders were received first after us. Actually not possible with the system. But there was also really a lot going on. Therefore it wasn't really clean in the restaurant.

If you like a lot of people, you have no problems. It's usually busy and you have to wait a while for your food. You can also have it brought to your table. I think it's a little quicker, but maybe that's just because the waiting time goes by faster when you sit and watch the goings-on. But the employees handle the situations confidently and are always friendly. The cleaning of the tables suffers due to the busyness and the tray trolleys are so full that you have to somehow squeeze your empty tray between them. I still go there again and again, the food is always of the same good quality and I simply like my personal favorite, the Big Tasty Bacon McMenue.

Sunday evening: 2 of 4 terminals defective. Waiting for food for 20 minutes. Tables unclean. Employees very stressed. No fun here.

Dirty, pissy toilets, mold or a lot of dirt around the tap, every time we are there the waitresses are unfriendly to customers and to each other, the food is often already cold and when the touchscreen didn't work today, we went to Losheim driven. The extra expense of travel and gas money is worth it.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to! 25 minutes for a happy meal and two burgers. The customers came in one after the other, mostly ordering ice cream. By the time we had our food the ice cubes in the drink had melted. No thanks!!!

I'm super angry, first you wait a really long time, and now I seriously haven't gotten a cola with coffee in it?? That's not normal, there were 2 cars in front of me & my menu went to another car first & then to me...

I'd like to say it was ok, but it wasn't. Ordered specifically via the app so it's quicker and easier. There are 2 cars in front of us on the drive. More than 10 minutes until we were able to give our number, i.e. until the 2 orders before us were taken. Then another 15 minutes until we get our 2 menus at the counter (Big Mac and Nuggets Menu, so no special things). You have to work extremely hard on the speed, almost 30 minutes for an order placed in advance, that's not possible. And the food wasn't a burner either... meat wasn't seasoned, everything was simply bland...

Passing through Merzig I stop by the local Mc Do, and the surprise, a very cold welcome, an order that arrived late, it seems that the premises have priority!! and in addition we have been sent copiously on roses, one wonders if these people are anti-French

Nice little visit there that won't be repeated. Waiting time enormous. Staff is unable to enter orders into the system. It's better to discuss with customers that they would have overlooked a person who is 1.80 meters tall. After waiting, I had to point out to the staff that my companion had already finished eating and unfortunately discovered that my order had still not been prepared. Instead they wanted to hand me someone else's order. In the end, the order did not find an owner. My order was given to me in a somewhat friendlier manner quite late, but the overall experience was enough for me. For me personally, no recommendation!

The order could not be completely processed after repeated repetitions. After only receiving half of our order, we went back in and complained. We were then called liars by the cashier and had to clarify the problem with the store manager. EXTREMELY unprofessional behavior from the cashier. I really can't recommend the store more.

The fries were raw. The drinks were warm and the waiting time for 3 burgers, 3 fries and a drink was 30 minutes with light traffic. Won't be coming back

It's fast food but it still takes them almost half an hour to prepare the order. Dirty tables, rubbish on the terrace, slide looks very tired. As for the food, the fries were very limp and the chicken nuggets were quite cold. We go to McDonalds a lot, but this branch is the low point. Given the many negative reviews, it is time to wake up the manager. WAKE UP!

Underground, cash register or system collapse. But you only get told that after waiting twenty minutes. Then nothing works anymore. On a second visit the food was a disaster, stuffed through and slapped on. Definitely NOT recommended. The friendliness of the staff was just as bad. You mumble something into your beard and quickly dismiss it. Terrible.

Mc drive doesn't work, the guy at the reception can't handle the system at the checkout at all

McDonald's every now and then, that was always my motto, but after the burgers got smaller and the prices got higher, I decided not to go there anymore. Then it's better to have a pizza from the local pizza maker, you get more out of it. Disappointing!

Incompetent nothing more! None of the employees speak French, no way to explain the problem we had with their faulty order terminals! Obliged to show proof of payment on the banking application, I have never seen that! The staff are dying of boredom and are not at all friendly, on the contrary they are mean! That's pissing people off!!! A large ice cream for almost 5 euros only a 1/4 in, if at all. The best is yet to come. They said they weren't allowed to put it in anymore. There is just as much ice in it as a small one. There was no friendliness either

I always order fish burgers, but they never arrive fresh and out of date/dry. People are always served something that has been sitting around for a long time and then you pay the full price, which is ridiculous and that's always only here in the Mc, ridiculous!!!

ABSOLUTE RUDE! For a long time we avoided going to McDonald's in Merzig and preferred to go to Burger King. Then we had a good experience in a McDonald's in Berlin and wanted to try it again in MZG. Catastrophic. The service was terribly slow and even though there was nothing going on, we had 30 minutes! Waited for 2 items. The food was cold and there were missing ingredients on our burgers. What still bothers me personally is that there are almost never vouchers and the prices are outrageous. For us it was really the last time MC Donald in Merzig. From now on BK again: hot food, nice service, regular low-priced promotions.

When visiting this MC Drive, it is always advisable to check the bag to make sure the order is complete before you set off. Well, the fries also look, let’s say, very special. Edit 01.06.24: The loud beeping of the fryers and other devices in the store is annoying and that doesn't seem to bother anyone of the staff. The burgers are somehow slapped together and don't look anything like the pictures on the ordering terminal.

I ordered in Mc Drivr, then I was supposed to pay at the first window, but there was no one there. Suddenly he did, but he didn't open the window. Then he opened it briefly, closed it again and walked away. Then the car in front of me moved forward and I followed. At that moment the window opened. Then the employee shouted after me that I had said pay at the first window. I had a car key behind me, then got out and paid at the window. Got another cheeky answer. Very very unfriendly. I got my food at the second window, the boss wasn't interested in his employee's inappropriate behavior. No apology. And to make matters worse, the food was also cold.

This McDonald's is located opposite Fitness First and offers the typical range. The service was satisfactory. The food was of good quality and freshly prepared. Here you can sit down and eat. Toilets and dining room were both clean.

I just got green curly fries and no ice cream in my drink

Unfortunately it's always the same unpleasant experience. We're almost not there anymore. Was here today after a long time. For now I have to say, definitely the last time. It's Sunday evening. Basically always a lot going on. Of course no staff, oh yes the shortage of skilled workers, we've been waiting for our food for 20 minutes. I'm curious to see if everything will come. Oh yeah, let's see if the toys are there... Oh, no. As expected, both the Playmobil toys and the glasses are empty. It's really sickening what's going on in the juice shop.

Today I got something there again and again very disappointingly ate it cold and something was missing again!!!!!

Half of the order is always forgotten, you wait forever for your food (we waited over 20 minutes for 20 nuggets and 1 chip) and by then it's usually already cold. This shop is a complete joke, you don't even want to talk about the technical problems that always exist. In addition, this branch doesn't know the word "hygiene".

Just terrible!! Yes, that’s right, it’s a fast food temple!! But one that no longer fits the frame. Price-performance doesn't work at all. €50 for 3 menus. You sit on wooden benches at a dirty table and saying please and thank you must really hurt for some people. I don't charge much at these places but a portion is a portion. And not like, for example, the photos that were included, which were then simply slammed onto the table for us!! That gave me the rest for this review. When we work in the service sector you can at least be friendly and make the portions full and not half full. No matter whether it was ice cream or fries!!! You can actually go to a restaurant and you won't pay much more.

It's always cold in the shop so you have to eat with a jacket on. The food is cold and my ice cream was water ice cream, not Mc Flurry. When I complained there was suddenly no more ice cream and then I got a dried out donut that was €2 cheaper. I was not offered any money back. My friend didn't get any ice cream and when he didn't want anything else he didn't get any money back. I would prefer not to give a star at all because I won't eat anything anymore. Also a very unfriendly staff.

The restaurant has a very nice and attractive interior, very child-friendly staff (I've rarely seen this before), the staff is great with children, I felt very comfortable there with my grandchildren. I'll definitely and happily come back there

Yesterday I ordered something to take away and when I got home I noticed the recurring problem: The fries were missing and the chicken burger (ordered without salad) was packed without sauce but with salad instead. The 6 nuggets only had 4 pieces in it. To me, the staff sometimes seems really overwhelmed, incompetent and unmotivated. Not to mention some of the friendliness. That was the last visit to this juice shop.

Closing has become so bad. A test buyer has to show up. And close the shop.

We usually eat freshly prepared food, so fries, burgers, etc. are warm and delicious. This wasn't always the case in the past (years ago). Staff very friendly.

Drive in is an absolute disaster. The 30 minute wait is simply unacceptable. When you ask the employees why it's taking so long, you don't even get an apology, just: "I'm not the boss". It was my last visit, I'd rather go to BK or Dillingen!

Unfortunately it was pure chaos today! Waiting times beyond patience... Food was cold and totally wrong. Many customers are in a heated mood. Unfortunately, ONLY ONE dedicated employee responded to the situation! Thank you for that. All men in service are welcome to copy this, then such chaos would NOT arise. But unfortunately they obviously took it with amusement. In addition, all the dips were still missing at home.

Fast food in the typical loud McDonalds atmosphere, no longer cheap food either.

Highly recommended if you feel like bad service topped with cold burgers. But you should take your time to enjoy it to the fullest, on average you wait 20-30 minutes from ordering to eating in the fast restaurant. So if you want to spend a lot of money on what is described, you can go to MC Donalds Merzig.

The food is always cold. And something is always missing from an order. If you go to the staff and point out that something is missing, you will be insulted. This has been the case with us every time we visit.

It's just Mac. Like everywhere else in the world, ok, with long opening hours. If you have an appetite at night and like fries or something like that, this is the right place for you?

Unfortunately the worst visit ever. There were no numbers for the tables at the terminals, they were all at the checkout so you couldn't see them at first glance. 2 terminals could not be used. Waiting time after ordering at the functioning terminal 35 minutes. Food was cold and a burger was missing at the end. The only positive thing was that the ladies still helped bring the 4 tablets to the table because we had 3 children with us. If that hadn't been possible I would have canceled the order. Very disappointing.

After you wait for your burger to expire, it steals from you...... today I bought hamburgers with potatoes and mayonnaise..... when I got home, I saw that there was no mayonnaise. Congratulations McDonald's
