Yesterday I was at McDonald's in Zwickau (Oskar-Arnold Str) and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. I had a 20 nugget menu - the nuggets were completely dry and didn't even seem to be cooked properly. There was also an iced coffee with a caramel flavor that consisted almost entirely of ice cubes. Taste? None. When I pointed out to one of the employees that the receipt roll at the ordering terminal was empty, I only heard an indifferent "I don't care" from an unfriendly, rather fuller employee - and he just kept walking. No service, no interest. Unfortunately for me, this McDonald's is the epitome of a juice shop. It's a shame, I was hoping for a quick and uncomplicated snack - instead there was pure frustration.

Unfortunately, there are always incorrect and incomplete orders. Today, after the drive-in, unfortunately it was only at home that I realized that a complete menu was missing. Very annoying since you paid for it - I'm still hoping for a positive response from customer service. Most things were still sold out - well, you can't change that. I'll avoid this branch in the future and prefer to go to Meerane or something similar.

Since the renovation, I have consistently avoided this store and prefer to drive the extra way to Meerane. Setup, waiting time and also the article itself is bad... sometimes something is missing, sometimes something is wrong. Add-ons like the Coca Cola glasses are simply no longer available. It's really catastrophic what has become of McDonald's. I can only agree with the negative reviews.

It used to be a great store, but today it's by far the worst store in the area. I can't remember when the entire menu was last in stock, not to mention the collectible glasses. The employees don't necessarily seem to know what they're doing either. From incomplete orders, to food that looks like it was packaged by a three-year-old child, to complete ignorance of the German language, everything is there. With complaints that now arise with every order, you almost have to go to the kitchen yourself to get what you ordered. Then let's move on to the new great renovation... It looks modern and attractive at first, but it has nothing to do with a practical structure inside. Once you have ordered you have 3 options: - standing back to back with people who are eating, - stick to the counter or garbage stations - or stand in the way of everyone else in the middle of the aisle... In addition, the order numbers on the monitor simply disappear after a while and when the food is ready, no employee says that order "xy" is ready for pickup. Do yourself a favor and go to Meerane or Wildenfels if you want to stay loyal to McDonalds and keep your nerve.

No, I can't recommend it. Maybe you should hire staff who can read the orders, be it extra cheese slices or orders without onions, the order never fits, and to make matters worse, CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM is confused with VANILLA ICE CREAM! The whole thing happened several times; when I approached them, the exchange was refused and I was sent away. I will definitely NEVER set foot in here again! The only positive? A super modern branch!

We waited almost 3/4 hour for our food. Although we pointed out in the meantime that we didn't have our food yet. In the meantime we noticed that our food was brought to other guests and they ate it without saying anything (with the words, we noticed but ate it anyway...) As a thank you, they received their correct order. We asked again...Although the mistake was noticed, there was no compensation of any kind as an apology, NO the people who had our food got it. In my opinion, completely overwhelmed and an apology in the wrong place.

Went there twice this week to get ice cream. The staff didn't get the order right both times and always did something wrong. Wanted the chocolate ice cream and got the regular one. Maybe you should really hire people who understand what you're ordering.

You can't eat worse than in this store! Fries COLD and soggy! A bus drove over the McRib. The glass ordered with the menu was not included! One side dish was completely missing! Just a disaster. Reading things off the screen and putting them in the bag is that hard?! Maybe the franchise entrepreneur should look for a more competent team!

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and unfortunately the errors in our orders increased. Last time the nuggets we ordered were missing, and this time an ingredient we ordered was still put on our burger. In addition, napkins and the glasses that were supposed to be part of the menu were missing. Because of these repeated problems we are thinking about eating somewhere else. We also have the impression that some of the staff have difficulties with the German language, which makes communication difficult. We also sometimes had to wait a long time for our food.

When asked after 10 minutes: The order was removed from the system. The money was gratefully kept. I could go on with this list forever. In each of the above cases, the store was less than half full. It's best to replace the entire staff with monkeys. The monkeys would do better than the current, actually incompetent staff. I don't like using the word, but incompetent really applies here. The shop was closed for a long time, there was hope that things would get better: none. It was my last visit to this McDonald's and all of the franchisee's others.

So breakfast was delicious at McDonalds. But especially in a newly opened store you assume that everything will work. Nothing worked. Ordered dark chocolate drink with extra whipped cream. What was delivered. Of course without whipped cream. The complaint only casually mentioned “also cream on the side”. Second drink Latte Macchiato with an extra two sugars. What was delivered. Of course without extra sugar. Two sauces were provided with the panacakes. As ordered, BUT who makes the sauce in such large cups. How are you supposed to get there?

The last cough. You have to wait for every coffee or ice cream because something isn't working. (Technical problems) Home delivery not possible even though we only live 4 km away.

But certainly a very good service, friendly and small errors are corrected immediately

Guys, please train your employees properly.. we had 3 mistakes in our order... first they want to give us cake with a complete corner broken out, then you forget a sprite and the top hammer, we order the new vegetarian wrap and then at home you notice the chicken that's wrapped in it.. What the fuck is that....

So when it comes to a Happy Meal, you should be able to distinguish between Fanta and Cola, money and brown. I'm not asking much of your underpaid employees, but trying to force a child to drink a Coke isn't all that great. :)

Great, newly remodeled and you find yourself in front of a locked door because of incorrect opening times! Maybe a general communication problem because of the hardly any German-speaking staff...even on the MC Drive it's a complete disgrace every time because you either stand there forever because nothing is understood or you get the wrong things

If you can't deliver, then don't offer the delivery service! Tried to order several times, either the service is not offered for that time, or it is canceled in the middle of the ordering process and the service is not offered...

Food is OK. However, things that are ordered very often are forgotten, especially in the drive-thru... If things are no longer available, they should either be made aware of it or may no longer be offered.

The first time I didn't think anything of it and thought, you didn't tolerate something so well. But now we ate there again on Sunday and since then I've been struggling with my stomach and intestines again! And I only had a wrap, milkshake and Mc Flurry.

Ladies and Gentlemen We are almost regular customers in your branch but the service at the checkout is almost disrespectful and anti-social in my opinion and some people have no respect at all and today I was standing at the checkout to order something. From 1:00 p.m. to 1:07 p.m. I asked if the lady (Elena) could take our order. We faced 3 different customers. She answered coldly, "I don't have time," even though other employees were free at Dressen. Thank you for your understanding but such A... I think social behavior doesn't need a business. The food tastes really delicious but I ordered an MC Smart menu and what do they bring me? They bring me a Coke and a Fant and two MC Sundays. The staff can barely speak German and that's why I'll never go there again.

On April 4th, 2024 around 10:00 p.m. we were at McDonalds Zwickau again after a long time and today there was a super friendly and really competent male waiter at the drive counter. Unfortunately, the vegetarian offering was very limited, but I think this service deserves high praise!

Unfortunately we discovered again that something was missing. This time it was 'just' the sauces that were ordered with it. Still, it's very annoying, after all, you're paying for it! On the last visit, two double cheeseburgers were missing, which of course isn't possible.

It's been less than pleasant since the reopening. A junk car has been parked in the parking lot for months. The license plates are now missing, and fluids are leaking. The restaurant hasn't improved either. The counter is impractical. There's no storage space for people waiting. The dishes and cutlery are dirty. This can't be considered hygienic. Add to that an app that only works sporadically at best. The promised bonus points haven't been credited yet. Considering pharmacy prices, you can expect reasonable service.

Since it was new it has looked so bare and desolate. You can wait forever for your food, half of the employees don't understand you and the only thing that has deteriorated is the juice shop and once it's there the help is wrong. I'd rather go to the McDonald's in Meerane next time

McDonald’s impresses me every time! The food is always fresh and delicious, ordering is quick, and the service is reliable. I come here up to three times a day – simply because it tastes good. Yes, it's a little more expensive, but the quality and experience are worth it. Absolute recommendation!

Also with us, ordered 2x MC Drive for the third time since opening today and today directly at the terminal. I would say that if a burger was forgotten, I can still ignore it (but actually not) but today I find it a disgrace to forget a 20-piece nugget for €10.98. (I made a large order and only found out when I got home, but the sauces were there). The next thing is that the staff usually seems helpless or overwhelmed. (There are 8 orders and suddenly there are no more but no one has eaten). Numbers were then determined by calling. For the next order we will think about ordering there again and then going to the company canteen instead.

If we go to Mac Donalds again we will probably go to Wildenfels. The Zwickau branch will no longer be open after it reopens. Constantly changing, unmotivated, unfriendly staff. Something is missing from every order. The crowning glory was that after the last visit the entire family had gastrointestinal problems.

The McDonald's is simply embarrassing for such a relatively large city like Zwickau! Too little space and no logistics when preparing the orders. There is no system between pickup and table service and it is constantly messed up. You wait for ice cream until it melts. There are always the same toys in the Happy Meal and there are no Curley fries. Some orders are simply forgotten or parts of them are left lying around on the counter somewhere. We were very disappointed after two visits!

I have ordered from this restaurant three times now since it reopened and twice the order was incomplete. Since my orders are always a little larger, it's not immediately noticeable if something is missing. Once a hamburger was missing and yesterday there were only 19 chicken nuggets in the box instead of 20. Can't count the employees or what's going on? In any case, 2 errors in 3 orders is not possible for me.

Catastrophe on Sunday evening. Completely unchallenged employees, every to-go order was missing at least one thing And it went haywire. When people asked, they just said it took a while. If you eat here, it's your own fault...the food tastes like I've been experimenting in the kitchen...the fries are too salty and the cheese isn't melted. Zero to recommend. I was eating there on Tuesday lunchtime with two friends when we were literally harassed by two employees. They came to our table and forced us to fill out this feedback form. Not just us but also other guests. They took my friend's cell phone without asking and sat at the table so that we couldn't even stand up. They were very pushy which I think was very inappropriate and above all disrespectful. It was a man and a woman. They said we would get something for free (small coke, ice cream, etc.) but then they asked us for money. They also watched what we wrote on this review, which made us feel pressured to falsify it. Since I can't undo this, I wanted to leave my real impression here. I like to eat there with friends, but I've always been to another restaurant of this brand before and I've never had anything so unpleasant and intrusive happen to me before.

Pure disappointment again😡 Ordered food at the drive in and got the big surprise at home: something was missing👍. The bag was packed in such a way that you didn't have a clear overview of what was in it when you were driving. If you read the references here, it seems to be common practice now. When you look at the prices you can only talk about it being a rip off. You just have to calculate how often this happens per day and how much is collected there. Of course it's easy money. Actually, I'm not the kind of person who gives my two cents here, but this McDonald's is a disaster! Delivery is almost always offline in the supply chains, no order acceptance. The burgers that you order, regardless of whether they are picked up or delivered, are simply thrown wildly into the pack so that you first have to throw the burger together again. Open again. I found it positive that there are now 2 DriveIn order counters. I was the first in line, 4 burgers and some finger food. Apparently the gentlemen had already had bad experiences with the kitchen processes at lunchtime, and at 5 p.m. it was my turn at the McDrive. Despite asking whether everything was really packed - and being assured - when we got home we discovered that a McRib was missing. You won't be able to reach anyone if you call. So just AGAIN, FRUSTRATION. The same as before many times. Sad.

Saturday, January 4, 2025, order at 5:15:57 p.m. (drive-in). We have the receipt. Unfortunately only half of the order was packed for takeaway. Unfortunately, I only noticed it at home. Can't understand the bad reviews after the renovation at all. Yesterday I ate in the branch for the first time after the renovation. Even though it was full, the food came quickly, was warm and tasty.

After the renovation, things went downhill considerably, the food was cold, especially burgers and fries. Your fries are no longer salted, even after asking three times if you can get extra salt. Employees seem annoyed if you have extra requests, such as: no pickles on the burger. Conclusion: drive to Wildenfels or Meerane to McDonalds

These things tasted like water had just been frozen and dusted with a pinch of sugar. This was light years away from a creamy, flavorful milkshake. I seriously wonder if they even know what a real milkshake should taste like. And the nuggets? After I complained again, they were replaced. This time they were no longer hard as plaster - progress, you might think. But the taste was still a complete disgrace. It was like taking the previous batch, running it through the fryer a second time, and hoping I would now accept the taste of charred rat. It's unbelievable how a simple order can be screwed up so consistently. Each attempt to repair the damage was worse than the last. I have rarely experienced such a mixture of pure incompetence, taste cruelty and complete customer ignorance. This store needs to be closed – forever. Peak of refusal to work!

It's a very nice McDonalds and it's super modern. I ordered a mc menu and wanted a cola without ice but there was some in it and unfortunately it didn't contain any carbon dioxide. There was no Monopoly sticker on my burger and my milkshake didn't have one either. I asked an employee about it in a friendly manner and he just grumbled: The stickers are blank. Then I asked another employee who answered very friendly: Wait a minute, I'll get you two more stickers. And shortly afterwards he came back with 2 stickers.

First of all, we waited a really long time for our food...the ambience is a matter of taste and has been renovated in a rather dreary manner. The long waiting times and the chaos are just terrible. If I didn't have a little grandson I wouldn't come there anymore. And if you go there with your grandchild and they choose a toy for their happy meal, that's not even available anymore.

Absolutely bad and unfriendly after reopening. Absolutely overwhelming. Terminals defective or not ready for use. Extremely long waiting time. Closed checkout. Even when asked, they are very unfriendly.

I honestly hoped for more after the renovation. Entrance very modern but you walk directly past customers at the tables - not well solved.

I ordered online with a delivery service for the third time and did not receive a delivery. Once, at least after 1.5 hours of waiting, I was informed that it had been canceled. The other times not at all. Then just don’t offer delivery please!!!!🙏🏼

Unfortunately there was no improvement in the rooms after the renovation. The rooms have become smaller. Especially in the lower area. The comfort in the lower area has decreased significantly, especially for families, and there is no longer a play area in the upper area. So family friendliness 0. I had hoped for more after such a long construction period. As well as the seats at the entrance door.

Food 5/5 because it is folded neatly Service 4/5 as there are occasional mix-ups but it goes quickly. My experience here was that the milkshake machine was broken. As compensation, however, I was given two ice cream cones worth €1 each - a really great service that significantly increased my satisfaction at this point. Unfortunately, my last order, a McFrappe, was less than enjoyable. The drink did not correspond in any way to the product advertised, but consisted almost entirely of cream. The manager explained to me that the desired result could not be achieved due to the new ice cream machine as it was not able to mix the McFrappe as shown. In my opinion, if a product cannot be prepared to the quality advertised, it should not be offered. It would be desirable for improvements to be made here in order to meet customer expectations.

McDonald's was once a fast food restaurant with a certain standard. They threw this standard overboard with the pandemic. Instead, the focus is on maximizing profits and less on quality. The burgers are about 1/4 smaller, have less filling and are suffocatingly dry. The quality of the meat has also deteriorated significantly. The portion was also smaller with the paper cups, the sauce is about half as much. All this at twice the price within just a few years. Unfortunately, people have also stopped using refills for drinks. Napkins are only available on assignment, the tables are dirtier than before. The formerly well-paid, committed and long-standing staff have long since left. Unfortunately, the company is developing on the backs of the guests and the staff (now low-paid foreigners, which makes me feel more pity), while the franchisees are only lining their own pockets. Apparently the system still works quite well until the burgers are no longer visible, but they become increasingly expensive and inferior. In any case, the spirit is gone and has fallen victim to the pure capital of the shareholders. It's a shame what happened here. But luckily my junior wants to go there less and less as he grows up, thanks to good upbringing.

At a On another visit we see that the employees themselves remove the Monopoly codes from the customers' packaging which is on the return shelf, which is a no go.

Very unfriendly staff, burgers were a mess. They looked like they could have been taken out of the trash. Fries weren't crispy, on the contrary, they were really mushy. It was a disaster...
