McDonald's in Völklingen

I like to go to Mc Drive after work, not anymore, I received 2 fries without salt, I only noticed this later and today a burger was missing... and the drink, no thanks!

I didn't think I would rate McDonald's, it's good at that, but... Service and clean interior are worth highlighting. Keep it up!

I don't feel so comfortable there anymore. The food was cold and didn't look nice in the packaging.

Today I ordered from Mc Donald in Völklingen, when I took my order I looked in the bag and saw that the apple turnover I ordered was missing, then I went back in and said that the apple turnover I ordered was missing, the answer was: “I'm sorry "Sorry, they're sold out." Okay, I can live with that, but it was a product that I paid for and I didn't receive it, and I didn't get the money I paid for this product back. Next time I'll order one again and not pay for it, then it should be fair.

good McDonald's. -There are enough parking spaces outside -Centrally located to the highway -MC Drive available -The store is quite large and clear -You can sit inside or outside -The scanner of the self-ordering systems has finally improved and responds straight away and the system is easy to understand The food was otherwise very good, the cheese was melted on the burgers, which isn't always the case and the food was hot.

Good thing I only visit McDonald's once or twice a year.

Something is forgotten with every order. The last time I ordered, the sauce was forgotten on my two Mcribs (I don't know how that's possible, the burger consists of almost 50% sauce)

My fries were frozen and the burger was cold, poor service

What can I say? Fancy some ice cream and as always the ice cream machine was cleaned. I stood in McDrive for half an hour to get this information. You can't experience that with the competition. This customer would then also be lost.

I felt like going to McDonalds at around 12:15 a.m. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, chicken and fries. Everything was super fresh and delicious!!!! I was pleasantly surprised because I ate nuggets in another branch a while ago and they were dry. It was delicious, thank you!!!!The employee who served me in the mcdrive deserves special mention. What a friendly, courteous, polite, patient, funny, customer-oriented young man. Hats off to you!!!!! Rarely have I been served so kindly and friendly. It really bothers me that something is always missing from the bag at the Drive Inn. I noticed that before, but it was only the fries that were missing. This time, in all seriousness, MC Ripp was missing. But he was billed. Unfortunately, by the time you realize this it is already too late. We're not going to get anything there now. This annoys me too much now.

First waited 20 minutes to order. After placing the order, I waited another 10 minutes to pay and then the salad wasn't ready. The snack salad is very little for the price. Maybe they should rename themselves McWait.

In my opinion, fast food restaurants have unfortunately been absent since the service was restructured. As an employee from the 2000s, I still know the original concept and the time frame that had to be adhered to... 2 minutes from placing the order to serving the food to the customer... fast food. Today, waiting times of 15 minutes+ are often not uncommon... there used to be a bar for basic products. I wish people here would remember the roots...fast food restaurant instead of a burger boutique.

Ambience for children is for the ass. The gaming table hasn't worked for over a year. It's a great thing, the children can play on it and the parents can chat in peace. For over a year people have been asking politely why the table doesn't work and the answer has always been the same for years. "I can't tell you why" Really makes you sick and always the same answer. Today 21 degrees. The entire slide is closed. So for the kids, the Völklinger McDonald has been sickening for ages

It's been a long time since I've had a McDonald's where the employees are very nice and don't ignore their customers 👍not like in Mac Donald's Bous......in Völklingen it was clean everywhere, the toilets were also fine. Some Mac Donald's branches can take an example from this.👍👍

The employees are miserable and can barely speak either German or English. The food was not prepared and completely forgotten and when asked why, nothing could be said. The request to make the food later was also ignored. Just extremely bad for a fast food chain.

Update 12/13/23 McDrive nothing going on 2 cars in front of me waiting as if there was more going on, no one at the counter, nothing, apparently McDrive is understaffed. I come about twice a month, always at lunchtime between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and always order via app with table service. My experience has been consistently positive. Ordering goes well, the location is clean, waiting times are normal, the service is always friendly (if you're friendly yourself) and the food has always been warm. Yes, every now and then something is missing, but it's never been a problem - just a little hint and it will be added later. I also had the wrong burger and then received the right one as well. That's very fair, I think. So, in summary, I think the branch is good and recommend it.

Newly renovated. Really nice. Service was nice but there doesn't seem to be any greetings here. Food was OK as always. Except for the fries that tasted like old fat.

Worst service ever. Waited twice in a row for half an hour each, then left without eating. The staff couldn't do much about it but the manager is incompetent, poor personnel planning, completely out of place. That's why some other customers never felt like that again. Without words... We were on a trip to the Völklinger Hütte world cultural heritage site, after which our daughter felt like listening to MCD, so we also went to this place. First impression was ugly and dirty. I ordered take-away from the machine and paid at the checkout, then I waited about 40 minutes before I politely asked an employee if I could pay with her. She then answered me in an annoyed and snotty manner that I could have paid with a card and she was busy (with your cell phone). At this point, the store was very clearly occupied with customers. We then left without ordering and drove on. Conclusion: I would first clean this shop, spruce it up and make the entire staff available to the free labor market, worse than no staff is bad staff!!! For us the worst MCD of all time!!! We are from Heidelberg and that would be unthinkable there.

I've seen a lot of McDonald's but this store in Völklingen is catastrophic. A woman who did some of the checkout was so unfriendly and snarky to the customers. She would be kicked out immediately in any other store, a very, very unfriendly person. Otherwise, things are just haywire in the store. We'll never go there again

Everything fine. I quickly found a parking space here. All order machines ready for use. Quick ordering and food came super quickly. Fresh, tastes good. Everything is great. Highly recommended. Am very satisfied.

Now I've really had enough, it's happened so many times that something is missing from my order. I always order on the drive and sometimes I forget to check to see if something is missing, something is missing every time, it's unbelievable, if it happens once or twice that's ok, but every time 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I really don't know what to say. I know it's a fast food place but you can really try harder. The woman at the checkout couldn't handle the system, which isn't a bad thing, BUT the person who "helped" her was really bad. When I asked them that it said on my receipt that I had given 40, which was wrong and that I was still missing the refund, I was complained about and sent away. I mean, if you tell others not to get confused with the numbers, but you yourself have done everything wrong at the checkout, you should call someone who can actually do it

We went to this McDonald's today. We had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was not crowded. When it came the burgers were cold and half were missing. The tables were dirty and sticky. I complained about the issue, but they are not critical and customer-oriented staff. There was only a mushy answer. Conclusion: Sorry never again!

Today after a 10 hour drive we drove to the MC VK drive in...what has changed since my last complaint and suggestion??? Well, nothing...veggie burger cold, although we still had to wait for it, cheeseburger cold, fries an imposition, cold...I live on the Heidstock so it wasn't a long way...how long are we going to let ourselves be kidded...are You don't care about VK customers and don't give a damn about bad reviews??? I paid a total of 23 euros including drinks...when will it finally click with the boss that the team meeting is overdue!? 😠

The McDonald's in Völklingen offers a solid fast food experience. The food is average but the service is excellent and the ambience is pleasant. Particularly noteworthy are the many free and free parking spaces, which enable a stress-free visit. Overall, a good choice for a quick meal.

In my opinion, the fries and chicken nuggets were baked. At least not well. And cold. The Big Mäc tasted as usual, but wasn't really warm either. There wasn't much activity at 10 p.m. Maybe the food was left on the warmer for a long time.

What's this nonsense about ordering at the self-service terminal? If you still want to order like before, you have to queue twice, what's the point? It feels like it takes forever to get your food, I don't feel comfortable waiting twice, what's the point? And unfortunately the burger was also cold, and despite waiting twice, the fries still had to be brought to my table because they were still not ready. So that was better. We can only hope that the next visit will be better.

During our visit today we met a very child-friendly employee. My granddaughter was blown away. She was even allowed to choose a gift behind the counter. That's why from now on she only wants to go to McDonalds in Völklingen-Fürstenhausen.

I now understand why some trainees sell nude pictures in the store in order to earn a little extra money. Apparently the morale of some employees has become so bad that you have to wait up to an hour in a "fast food" restaurant only to get the wrong food or only get half of it. Apparently the payment is really so good here that I would definitely sell myself.

I held back for a long time and didn't say anything, but that was just amazing. I would rather not say anything about the ambience and customer service. It's dirty, the tables stick and I'm at least glad that the staff can breathe independently, but that's it. I don't understand how a restaurant manager can let his business run into the wall like that. There are so many bad reviews piling up here and instead of changing things, it just gets worse.

I often go to this restaurant with my son, unfortunately we often have to check whether everything from the order is there, which leads to some employees being annoyed and showing it. I can understand the stress they are having there, but we are not solely responsible for it.

Last night was an absolute fast food nightmare. We ordered 2 Happymeals from the machine. Nothing unusual with cheeseburgers. After waiting 20 minutes, we had ordered with table service, I went to the counter to complain and ask when the food would finally arrive. As I stood there the problem was relatively obvious. All the burgers ended up in a kind of collection point. The people at the car counter eagerly grabbed it and the people in the restaurant took notice. There is a massive leadership problem here. Enough Man Power was on site. One of the cashiers explained to me in a rather unfriendly tone that it was due to the staff division. A look behind the counter was enough to see that there was enough staff. I asked about the shift leader who later came to our table. At the counter my order slip was taken from me without much fuss. It was also just a succinct I'm doing this in rather bad German. What was noticeable was the amount of staff standing in each other's way. Some of them were women who didn't dare walk past men because they looked a bit angry. I wasn't alone in making this observation. You start talking to people who have the same fate. Sometimes you should consider shrinking the workforce in a healthy way and replacing lazy, unproductive staff with productive ones. If it's up to the management staff either train or exchange. Just don't get us wrong, the restaurant wasn't overly busy. But mainly the male staff had more to do with posing and presenting themselves than with working. And when the shift manager came to our table, the excuse was even better. Incorrect scheduling of staff before a public holiday. I told him that I had made a little video of what his troop was doing. He explained to me that there was data protection blah blah blah. After the shift leader left, a small German woman brought us food and apologized for the extreme delay. This woman has more backbone than the rest of the staff and if I have a vacancy in our company I will poach this woman because I like people who show backbone. The rest of the mobile playing staff can be replaced......

I tried again for a long time, but as always in the mcdrive in vk. Food was ice cold (3 cheeseburgers 2 bigmac). Waiting time with 4 cars in front of us was about 20 minutes. Received and paid for 1x fries that we didn't order, chicken9 with only 1x sauce instead of 2. Really really bad as an overall package

We were the only ones in the restaurant and there were 3 vehicles in the drive-thru, but we still had to wait a while for our food. I hadn't been there for a while and found it really frightening. At first I thought they made the burgers in the Happy Meal smaller for the kids, but - all the burgers are smaller and more expensive! Service bad, food overpriced.

Absolutely not what it once was, unfortunately... everything is just soggy and cold. Staff friendliness and cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired.

I ate there with friends today. Even though I ordered first, I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food. Turns out my order was forgotten!!! When my food finally came after a complaint, it was very bad. There were a maximum of 8 tables occupied in the store and around 3 cars in the drive-in. Accordingly, I wonder how one can forget an order that has already been paid for and then the order tastes like cardboard. The place is really going downhill. 1 star is still far too much. I'll never go to Völklingen again, that's just outrageous!!!

Can only judge the service. Today, Good Friday, want to buy gift vouchers. Not unreasonable, at Easter. We drove specifically from Saarbrücken to Völklingen. Probably the manager, a tall, young, slim lady with long black hair and a white blouse, said succinctly, we don't have any. Apparently sold out. I said we came all the way from Saarbrücken, just a few kilometers. No excuse, no sorry. Conclusion: No customer service, it works completely differently. We'll never go there again. Sad

Was there today and wanted to take an order for me and the children. It wasn't a spectacular order (Happy Meal, smart menu etc.pp). After 25 minutes of waiting, I asked what was going on. Unfortunately, the young woman was completely overwhelmed with this order and the chicken nuggets, ketchup, mayonnaise were missing and instead of iced tea I got cola. Normally I would have gone back and complained about this but after waiting 30 minutes it was too stupid for me. Super disappointing and staff completely overwhelmed

I would like to go home just once with everything we ordered. They are rare in MC Donald's, not once has everything from an order been packed. Waiting times are very long. You often stand in front of the food distribution window for 5 to 10 minutes and you don't even see an employee. She doesn't like saying hello, goodbye or anything like that either. Unfortunately, price-performance is no longer right either. Burgers are becoming more and more expensive, smaller and with less on them. Now 4 euros for 1/2 liter of drink, very heavy. Will not be visiting McDonald's again in the future. A Burger King or Subway in Völkingen would be awesome.

Passed today around 1:30 p.m. The fries that were served to me were clearly not fresh. They were lukewarm and all soggy/old! What should we think ? Do you use fries that have cooled and put them back in an oil bath before serving them to your customers?! Scandalous!!

Very very very long waiting time. The food was as usual from McDonald's. I think they had a personnel problem today or something was technically wrong. I've never waited 3/4 hour for a take-away order (2 cheeseburgers, fries, cola, 6 pieces of chicken). Before that we had a larger order with table service, which was quicker and the service was very friendly. There will be more stars next time if the waiting time is reasonable. What also really annoyed me is that the coupons didn't work for the first big order, but then suddenly they did for the small one to take away.

An employee was very unfriendly because I accidentally pressed “take away” instead of “eat here”. Afterwards I went to the checkout and said that I would like the food to eat here and asked politely if they could bring my food to my table. She yelled at me and said you have to wait here until your food is ready and that was very disrespectful.
