Update 09/08/2024 I keep asking myself why I don't get my order that has already been paid for at the pickup window but instead am asked to drive a few meters in front and wait there for my order!? Update 12/13/23 McDrive nothing going on 2 cars in front of me waiting as if there was more going on, no one at the counter, nothing, apparently McDrive is understaffed. If it were possible, I would give zero stars. Update November 22, 2023 McDrive, as one would expect, once again works very civil servant-like. Update 7/19/23 McDrive is once again working in slow motion. Update 7/3/23 McDrive is once again working at a snail's pace, how could it be otherwise? Update March 2, 2023 McDrive underground again! Update November 30, 2022: The waiting time in Mc Drive is a disgrace!!! =========================•=== In MC Drive, the lady at the counter wanted to sell me food that was already in the car in front of me and was returned. I could see the bag of food being passed into the car, being searched by the driver and being returned. Of course I asked the lady from the MC Donald staff about it, who then tried to tell me a lie and firmly claimed that it wasn't the case. I asked her to give me a new meal, then she disappeared with the bag and 1 minute later I got my food. I can't judge whether only the bag or the entire meal was exchanged, I definitely think so It's a huge mess for the MC Donald employees to deal with customers like this, especially at this time. BTW: when I got home, drive time about 3 minutes, the food was cold, not lukewarm, but cold.

The employees are completely incomprehensible, the monitors don't work, it's very loud and you can't hear anything, not even your own number, the food is very tasty but way too expensive

The employees are miserable and can barely speak either German or English. The food was not prepared and completely forgotten and when asked why, nothing could be said. The request to make the food later was also ignored. Just extremely bad for a fast food chain.

I come about twice a month, always at lunchtime between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and always order via app with table service. My experience has been consistently positive. Ordering goes well, the location is clean, waiting times are normal, the service is always friendly (if you're friendly yourself) and the food has always been warm. Yes, every now and then something is missing, but it's never been a problem - just a little hint and it will be added later. I also had the wrong burger and then received the right one as well. That's very fair, I think. So, in summary, I think the branch is good and recommend it.

Just like an MC should be, there are seats outside, everything was clean and tidy when I visited

Worst service ever. Waited twice in a row for half an hour each, then left without eating. The staff couldn't do much about it but the manager is incompetent, poor personnel planning, completely out of place. That's why some other customers never felt like that again. Newly renovated. Really nice. Service was nice but there doesn't seem to be any greetings here. Food was OK as always. Except for the fries that tasted like old fat.

I've seen a lot of McDonald's but this store in Völklingen is catastrophic. A woman who did some of the checkout was so unfriendly and snarky to the customers. She would be kicked out immediately in any other store, a very, very unfriendly person. Otherwise, things are just haywire in the store. We'll never go there again

Without words... We were on a trip to the Völklinger Hütte world cultural heritage site, after which our daughter felt like listening to MCD, so we also went to this place. First impression was ugly and dirty. I ordered take-away from the machine and paid at the checkout, then I waited about 40 minutes before I politely asked an employee if I could pay with her. She then answered me in an annoyed and snotty manner that I could have paid with a card and she was busy (with your cell phone). At this point, the store was very clearly occupied with customers. We then left without ordering and drove on. Conclusion: I would first clean this shop, spruce it up and make the entire staff available to the free labor market, worse than no staff is bad staff!!! For us the worst MCD of all time!!! We are from Heidelberg and that would be unthinkable there.

I waited 30 minutes in MC Drive for 5 cheese wedges and a small Coke. Absolute impudence!!!

Everything fine. I quickly found a parking space here. All order machines ready for use. Quick ordering and food came super quickly. Fresh, tastes good. Everything is great. Highly recommended. Am very satisfied.

Now I've really had enough, it's happened so many times that something is missing from my order. I always order on the drive and sometimes I forget to check to see if something is missing, something is missing every time, it's unbelievable, if it happens once or twice that's ok, but every time 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I really don't know what to say. I know it's a fast food place but you can really try harder. The woman at the checkout couldn't handle the system, which isn't a bad thing, BUT the person who "helped" her was really bad. When I asked them that it said on my receipt that I had given 40, which was wrong and that I was still missing the refund, I was complained about and sent away. I mean, if you tell others not to get confused with the numbers, but you yourself have done everything wrong at the checkout, you should call someone who can actually do it

Every time a burger is missing as soon as the order is a little larger and the burgers you get either look like someone drove over them in a car or like you shook them vigorously before putting the burger in the bag... We went to this McDonald's today. We had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was not crowded. When it came the burgers were cold and half were missing. The tables were dirty and sticky. I complained about the issue, but they are not critical and customer-oriented staff. There was only a mushy answer. Conclusion: Sorry never again!

Today after a 10 hour drive we drove to the MC VK drive in...what has changed since my last complaint and suggestion??? Well, nothing...veggie burger cold, although we still had to wait for it, cheeseburger cold, fries an imposition, cold...I live on the Heidstock so it wasn't a long way...how long are we going to let ourselves be kidded...are You don't care about VK customers and don't give a damn about bad reviews??? I paid a total of 23 euros including drinks...when will it finally click with the boss that the team meeting is overdue!? 😠

The McDonald's in Völklingen offers a solid fast food experience. The food is average but the service is excellent and the ambience is pleasant. Particularly noteworthy are the many free and free parking spaces, which enable a stress-free visit. Overall, a good choice for a quick meal.

In my opinion, the fries and chicken nuggets were baked. At least not well. And cold. The Big Mäc tasted as usual, but wasn't really warm either. There wasn't much activity at 10 p.m. Maybe the food was left on the warmer for a long time.

No matter when you go there, the ice cream machine is strangely always broken. Waiting time for McDrive is clearly too long. Food is actually always cold. Other branches clearly do a better job. Never ever Mc.Donalds Völklingen.

The food yesterday was disgusting, burgers without sauce on them, cold patties, cold fries and then I had a stomach ache. We'll never go to McDonald's in Völklingen again. Bous is much better

What's this nonsense about ordering at the self-service terminal? If you still want to order like before, you have to queue twice, what's the point? It feels like it takes forever to get your food, I don't feel comfortable waiting twice, what's the point? And unfortunately the burger was also cold, and despite waiting twice, the fries still had to be brought to my table because they were still not ready. So that was better. We can only hope that the next visit will be better.

During our visit today we met a very child-friendly employee. My granddaughter was blown away. She was even allowed to choose a gift behind the counter. That's why from now on she only wants to go to McDonalds in Völklingen-Fürstenhausen.

I now understand why some trainees sell nude pictures in the store in order to earn a little extra money. Apparently the morale of some employees has become so bad that you have to wait up to an hour in a "fast food" restaurant only to get the wrong food or only get half of it. Apparently the payment is really so good here that I would definitely sell myself.

I held back for a long time and didn't say anything, but that was just amazing. I would rather not say anything about the ambience and customer service. It's dirty, the tables stick and I'm at least glad that the staff can breathe independently, but that's it. I don't understand how a restaurant manager can let his business run into the wall like that. There are so many bad reviews piling up here and instead of changing things, it just gets worse.

I often go to this restaurant with my son, unfortunately we often have to check whether everything from the order is there, which leads to some employees being annoyed and showing it. I can understand the stress they are having there, but we are not solely responsible for it.

Last night was an absolute fast food nightmare. We ordered 2 Happymeals from the machine. Nothing unusual with cheeseburgers. After waiting 20 minutes, we had ordered with table service, I went to the counter to complain and ask when the food would finally arrive. As I stood there the problem was relatively obvious. All the burgers ended up in a kind of collection point. The people at the car counter eagerly grabbed it and the people in the restaurant took notice. There is a massive leadership problem here. Enough Man Power was on site. One of the cashiers explained to me in a rather unfriendly tone that it was due to the staff division. A look behind the counter was enough to see that there was enough staff. I asked about the shift leader who later came to our table. At the counter my order slip was taken from me without much fuss. It was also just a succinct I'm doing this in rather bad German. What was noticeable was the amount of staff standing in each other's way. Some of them were women who didn't dare walk past men because they looked a bit angry. I wasn't alone in making this observation. You start talking to people who have the same fate. Sometimes you should consider shrinking the workforce in a healthy way and replacing lazy, unproductive staff with productive ones. If it's up to the management staff either train or exchange. Just don't get us wrong, the restaurant wasn't overly busy. But mainly the male staff had more to do with posing and presenting themselves than with working. And when the shift manager came to our table, the excuse was even better. Incorrect scheduling of staff before a public holiday. I told him that I had made a little video of what his troop was doing. He explained to me that there was data protection blah blah blah. After the shift leader left, a small German woman brought us food and apologized for the extreme delay. This woman has more backbone than the rest of the staff and if I have a vacancy in our company I will poach this woman because I like people who show backbone. The rest of the mobile playing staff can be replaced......

I tried again for a long time, but as always in the mcdrive in vk. Food was ice cold (3 cheeseburgers 2 bigmac). Waiting time with 4 cars in front of us was about 20 minutes. Received and paid for 1x fries that we didn't order, chicken9 with only 1x sauce instead of 2. Really really bad as an overall package

We were the only ones in the restaurant and there were 3 vehicles in the drive-thru, but we still had to wait a while for our food. I hadn't been there for a while and found it really frightening. At first I thought they made the burgers in the Happy Meal smaller for the kids, but - all the burgers are smaller and more expensive! Service bad, food overpriced.

Absolutely not what it once was, unfortunately... everything is just soggy and cold. Staff friendliness and cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired.

I ate there with friends today. Even though I ordered first, I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food. Turns out my order was forgotten!!! When my food finally came after a complaint, it was very bad. There were a maximum of 8 tables occupied in the store and around 3 cars in the drive-in. Accordingly, I wonder how one can forget an order that has already been paid for and then the order tastes like cardboard. The place is really going downhill. 1 star is still far too much. I'll never go to Völklingen again, that's just outrageous!!!

Can only judge the service. Today, Good Friday, want to buy gift vouchers. Not unreasonable, at Easter. We drove specifically from Saarbrücken to Völklingen. Probably the manager, a tall, young, slim lady with long black hair and a white blouse, said succinctly, we don't have any. Apparently sold out. I said we came all the way from Saarbrücken, just a few kilometers. No excuse, no sorry. Conclusion: No customer service, it works completely differently. We'll never go there again. Sad

Was there today and wanted to take an order for me and the children. It wasn't a spectacular order (Happy Meal, smart menu etc.pp). After 25 minutes of waiting, I asked what was going on. Unfortunately, the young woman was completely overwhelmed with this order and the chicken nuggets, ketchup, mayonnaise were missing and instead of iced tea I got cola. Normally I would have gone back and complained about this but after waiting 30 minutes it was too stupid for me. Super disappointing and staff completely overwhelmed

I would like to go home just once with everything we ordered. They are rare in MC Donald's, not once has everything from an order been packed. Waiting times are very long. You often stand in front of the food distribution window for 5 to 10 minutes and you don't even see an employee. She doesn't like saying hello, goodbye or anything like that either. Unfortunately, price-performance is no longer right either. Burgers are becoming more and more expensive, smaller and with less on them. Now 4 euros for 1/2 liter of drink, very heavy. Will not be visiting McDonald's again in the future. A Burger King or Subway in Völkingen would be awesome.

Passed today around 1:30 p.m. The fries that were served to me were clearly not fresh. They were lukewarm and all soggy/old! What should we think ? Do you use fries that have cooled and put them back in an oil bath before serving them to your customers?! Scandalous!!

It's okay, sometimes things go well and quickly, sometimes you have to wait forever. At least mostly hot and ok.

Very very very long waiting time. The food was as usual from McDonald's. I think they had a personnel problem today or something was technically wrong. I've never waited 3/4 hour for a take-away order (2 cheeseburgers, fries, cola, 6 pieces of chicken). Before that we had a larger order with table service, which was quicker and the service was very friendly. There will be more stars next time if the waiting time is reasonable. What also really annoyed me is that the coupons didn't work for the first big order, but then suddenly they did for the small one to take away.

An employee was very unfriendly because I accidentally pressed “take away” instead of “eat here”. Afterwards I went to the checkout and said that I would like the food to eat here and asked politely if they could bring my food to my table. She yelled at me and said you have to wait here until your food is ready and that was very disrespectful.

Nice staff, friendly and fast. One point is missing because, like everywhere else, they are slightly hard of hearing if you need help. Addition: for a Cheeseburger Royale and 2 normal cheeseburgers over 15 euros? You must have a blast. That was the last time for me.

Seit einiger Zeit muss man leider sagen das die Wartezeiten für ein Fast Food restaurant nicht mehr hinnehmbar sind, wenn ich jetzt nur einmal 45 min im Drive in auf mein essen gewartet hätte, OK. Im letzten Jahr war das aber mehrfach der Fall, ebenso beim letzten Besuch im Restaurant. Das kenne ich von anderen Filialen so nicht, folglich muss ich daraus folgern das irgendwas in Völklingen gehörig schlecht läuft. In der Zeit hätte ich im randvollen Hans im Glück 2 mal mein Essen bekommen...

Schnellrestaurant War einmal je nach dem zu welcher Uhrzeit man dort ist lange Wartezeit egal ob abholt oder vor Ort isst.

Man muss sehr lange auf das Essen warten. Ansonsten okay!

Der Letzte Kackladen von wegen Schnell Restaurant 50 min warten auf das Essen . Angestellte komplett überfordert in der Zeit fahre ich lieber nach Saarbrücken essen .

Ich kann nicht verstehen wie man in einer einzigen Bestellung 3 Fehler einbauen kann. 1 Double Mac Menü mit sour Creme , 2 Chicken Burger, 2 Double Chili chees Burger, 1 Erdbeer und 1 Vanille Shake. Sour Creme fehlte ersatzlos, anstatt 2 Double Chili chees gab es 3 Chicken Burger ( abkassiert wurde natürlich der teuere Chili chees) und anstatt Erdbeershake gab es ein Schoko Shake, ist ja geschmacklich fast das gleiche 😡. Zudem die Burger Furz trocken, etwas Soße schadet da nicht. Ergo das war mit Sicherheit der letzte Besuch in diesem Laden.

Das Nummernsystem wird absolut nicht benutzt, man wartet bis zu 45 min auf sein Essen und man merkt einfach die komplette Unfähigkeit des Personals, bzw. der fehlenden Führung. Also alles in allem ist es eine komplette Katastrophe und nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein McDonalds wie jeder andere in Deutschland. Aber dieser hat noch nie einer meiner Bestellungen falsch gemacht.

11minuten für einen BIC Mac ohne Gurke...nach mehreren nachfragen kam heraus, der war schon längst fertig. Aber übersehen worden. Na danke. Manchmal wartet man und zig Leute kommen vor einem dran,was nicht unbedingt nachvollziehbar ist. Und bei den abartigen Preisen ist es unverschämt wenn Eis und Soße immer weniger werden....

Online bestellung gemacht mit selbstabholung. Die Hälfte wurde vergessen oder falsch eingepackt. Da viel los war im McDrive hab ich selbst versäumt sofort nachzuschauen. Dennoch, man zahlt virl Geld, da kann man erwarten das alles richtig eingepackt wird. Das mal was vergessen oder vertauscht werden kann ok, passiert. Aber des, des ist frech.

Extrem lange Wartezeiten,vorallem Mc Drive ist in Völklingen eine Katastrophe.Die Wartezeiten sind mit Abstand die längsten im Umkreis.Und immer wieder falle ich darauf rein😡🙈

Essen wie überall bei McDonald's. Der eine liebt es, der andere nicht. Wir gehen dort gerne hin, allerdings immer seltener - aufgrund der stark gestiegenen Preise. Restaurant in Völklingen wurde vor einiger Zeit nach einem Brand neu aufgebaut und sieht daher schön und modern aus. Wir nutzen gern die SB-Bestelltafeln - tolle Erfindung! Drive-IN gibt es natürlich auch und man kann schön draußen sitzen. Kindergeburtstage werden hier oft gefeiert. Die Mitarbeiter sind i.d.R. freundlich. Eine Mitarbeiterin vertut sich oft beim Rückgeld. Man will der Frau nichts unterstellen, es war aber immer zu ihren Gunsten und allein uns ist es bisher mehrmals passiert. Also Achtung, nachzählen! Oft sind viele Tische unaufgeräumt. Man muss erstmal ein sauberes Plätzchen suchen. Liegt eventuell an Personalmangel. Denn Betrieb war dieses Mal nicht viel, was natürlich unterschiedlich ist.

Ist ein Standard Mac Donalds. Schade es es nicht mehr rund um die Uhr geöffnet ist.

Inzwischen hat dieser McDonald's stark nachgelegt was Essen und Services angeht. Ich hoffe, dass das so bleibt

Man wird dort regelrecht dazu gedrängt irgendwelche Pflaster zu kaufen ja für ein guten Zweck allerdings bitte mit etwas Anstand man möchte nicht von der Seite gedutzt werden Grad wenn diese Person nicht kennt.
