McDonald's in Meißen

The employees all pull faces as if they were choosing the wrong career. They don't even make eye contact when you want to communicate. The restroom area is also rather small. In short, I was glad to get out of there.

Completely misplanned/totally understaffed on Friday evening

Today (September 4th) I was completely overwhelmed, and an employee with glasses and shoulder-length hair was extremely rude and snotty! Waited 20 minutes for the food!

Even though they don't sell juice here, this place is the biggest juice shop for me. The time it takes them to make a simple coffee is unbelievable.

Unfriendly, unfriendly, unfriendly, slow, rude We just wanted a couple of cheeseburgers, and it really wasn't busy. We waited over a quarter of an hour for cold, poorly thrown-together cheeseburgers. Fast food and customer service are a thing of the past here. Uncoordinated, overwhelmed, without a plan... You feel welcome there, with the whole family, and it doesn't cost anything... Simply shabby That only happens in Meissen, because unfortunately, there's no competition here.

The wait was really long at 30 minutes, but otherwise okay. I suspect they used the wrong sauce for the wrap, because it didn't taste like honey or mustard.

Friendly service, everything was fine with the order, would definitely order again 😀. Updated August 2025: Unfortunately, I have to change my review. These days, something goes wrong with almost every order, whether it's the wrong drink, requests for burgers not being considered, the wrong sauce, or simply missing entire items. That's no longer acceptable at these prices. The food has also seemed thrown away for a while now; especially with the burgers, the lettuce and sauce stick everywhere except where they should be, namely in the burger. I'm still giving it two stars, though, because the service is still very friendly.

This is the second time we've visited this place and were looking forward to an ice cream. Unfortunately, they were cleaning the machine in the middle of the day 🧐. This place is over for me!

For the second time, I wanted to get one at McDonald's, and again the machine was being cleaned in the afternoon. It was 30°C outside, and I was looking forward to the ice cream, and then this shit happened again. It's not like they can clean it in the evening. Never again McDonald's...worst service ever.

Disappointed after a wait of over 50 minutes between 11pm and midnight when there wasn't much going on.

They closed the children's play area right in front of the kids. When I asked the staff member to speak German a little more slowly because I couldn't understand everything, he continued speaking at the same speed and very quietly. He told me to step away from the counter, sit at a table, and wait for my order. He was a tall, bald man. I am very disappointed. Today, on August 1, 2025, the service at this location was very poor. The staff behaved rudely and responded to questions in an aggressive manner. They closed the children's play area right in front of the kids. The drive-thru employee was very rude and threw the order into the car. The cashier was very friendly, and I highly recommend him...at least there's one decent person in this dump, otherwise, the rest of the staff would be a mess.... By the time someone arrived at the drive-thru, some time had already passed, and by the time the order was ready, I could have gotten five more doner kebabs...

Tables were dirty, and the wait for food was 25 minutes! The burgers were soggy...a disappointment 😐

The products are typical of McDonald's. Overpriced, but that's not the store's fault. What was particularly tiring was the very, very long wait for a burger, even though it wasn't busy.

So you wait far too long for your food and then it usually arrives cold. What's the point? That has to change!

They always tried their best... Burgers were lukewarm, carelessly put together. Just like McDonald's...

The waiter ignored me when I asked if he could bring me an ashtray. There weren't enough napkins, the table was dirty, and all the other tables nearby were either occupied or also dirty.

My son enjoyed it. I personally can't eat any of the products on offer. The additives in the food cause external digestive upsets. Furthermore, I find (as with B.King) that the products are far too expensive. Therefore, I wouldn't consider visiting on my own.

I wanted to get a happy meal 😭 1. The happy meal was torn in half 2. The burger, the fries and the chicken nuggets were dry and the sauces that day were also delicious. Instead of a happy meal, I got a depressing meal and waited 25 minutes for all of that 😭😠

We stopped by while the car was being charged (in the morning). We ordered two cappuccinos and two croissants. It wasn't a big deal, but waiting 20 minutes for one isn't fast food. It didn't matter to us, but it seems we're not the only ones...

Food is occasionally mixed up, and often something is missing, especially in the drive-up. You often have to wait longer or can't find a seat or parking space (it's too crowded)—during the holidays, you don't even need to try. I wish there were more play options for children (the projector has been broken for a while).

You can't possibly make that many mistakes when ordering. Bad staff. Of course, there weren't any glasses either.

Completely stressed-out employees at 10:32 a.m. I got several burgers and a wrap with scrambled eggs and cheese, along with dressing and sauce. I also had a cappuccino with oat milk and chai. Shortly afterward, I developed severe cramps and diarrhea that lasted until the next day.

Well, let me start by saying that the last few times I've gotten something from there, something was sometimes missing from my order. I understand that because we're all only human. You asked nicely and it was replaced. Now the big thing: when you find the wrong burger in your burger wrapper, I'm at a loss for words. On top of that, the employees are completely overwhelmed. And you have to wait a long time these days. I haven't noticed it as much in other branches as I did here. I won't be going back and I don't recommend it either; I'd rather spend my money somewhere else.

The projector in the children's room hasn't been working for ages and it's so dirty in there ....so McDonald's Meissen is not for children, what a shame.

Very nice and courteous staff, food is of the usual good quality. Food was prepared quickly. If you want fast food you can eat here.

We subsequently complain of nausea and/or vomiting after each visit. that can't be normal.

Service staff very friendly, all special requests when ordering were taken into account. Restaurant and toilet very clean.

The breakfast roll was completely stuck to the paper and couldn't be removed...everything was a lot apart, I asked for a normal spoon...they gave me a mini wooden fork that couldn't pick up anything. Tasteless, disintegrated stuff...no service at all...Never again!!!

We placed 3 different orders within 1 hour. And we were treated incorrectly twice. The first order was missing a hamburger (we received it later when we asked), everything was okay with the second order, but with the third order we ordered 2 McFlurry Originals - one with 1x chocolate sauce and the second with 2x chocolate sauce. The McFlurry with 1x chocolate sauce was prepared correctly, the second one was brought with chocolate buttons (the little Smarties) instead of chocolate sauce. But didn't complain. We sat at table 1.

I'm at a loss for words... Unfriendly staff. Waiting time for 2nd ice cream 1/2 hour. Caramel sauce on top and chocolate sauce on the bottom, turned around for the second ice cream. Our ice cream didn't taste good anymore. I don't even order food anymore. Never again.........

Food is okay, but unfortunately it often happens that food is missing

Over the last few months I have repeatedly overlooked the fact that an item was missing from the order - they are often overwhelmed. I never complained about this, we were always too far from the restaurant! Today, however, despite my friendliness, I was approached in a very, very unfriendly manner. Since the payment window was closed, I drove to the second window in McDrive and paid there. As a result, the toy was forgotten in the Happy Meal. When the complaint was made, people insulted me and accused me of fraudulent intentions. Sure, you have a bad day sometimes, but that was really too much for me. I'm now avoiding Meißen and prefer to go to Dresden!

If you have a simple question, no one feels addressed. I'm also not someone who is rude to employees. But you work in service, that's not possible. Unfriendly staff who do not respond to customer requests & incorrect processing of orders. A disappointment every time

I don't usually write reviews, but I'm starting to like it here. I'm often at work to get something small from other MC's. This is really the unfriendly and slowest Mc I know. Waited over 20 minutes for a small order 2 weeks ago (2 cars in front of us). 2 days ago got 1 large cappuccino and waited almost 10 minutes (I was alone on the drive). Grabbed something with the family after the cinema today. Then came the surprise: part of the order was missing. We live 10km outside and the effort of driving back would make no sense, then the rest would also be cold. The worst part is my youngest's disappointment. A real mess in the store. CHECK YOUR ORDER!!! And another recommendation to the company, urgently train your sales staff - it's underground.

I really like the latte macchiato from McDonald's. Unfortunately our coffee was only lukewarm today. An improvement would be desirable. The price-performance ratio therefore doesn't seem quite balanced to me.

I personally don't like this stuff

Bought lunch for a long time today. There were plenty of free parking spaces, which is sometimes difficult in the evenings. I also got a free terminal right away, although that can sometimes take a while in the evening. Paying contactlessly at the terminal also worked wonderfully. My order was implemented to the point. It was important to me whether attention was paid to whether the burger for my husband really came without tomatoes. It was confirmed again when I handed it over, so a plus point for service! Except for the price of 5 burgers, €40 (!), it was a positive experience.

Unmotivated employees. 1 product was forgotten in the ToGo bag, despite asking if it was there. ...you do the rest yourself.

We waited about 15 minutes for the food even though there wasn't much going on. The table next door wasn't cleaned during the 45 minutes we were there. The burgers were lukewarm, there was no toilet paper in the women's toilet and it wasn't clean. (I was told by my female companion)

It's been ages since I've been to McDonald's. It's an absolute disgrace what you get for your money. The girls behind the counter were nice and quick, but the price-performance ratio is subpar. In addition, there is this loud and constant beeping from the kitchen, which makes a relaxed atmosphere completely impossible. I've never been a McDonald's lover and now that's over for me. P.S.: the ice cream was okay.

We were there yesterday after a long day. I would like to give zero stars for service and food. Waited 40 minutes for 2 burgers which were also cold. Staff totally overwhelmed and with 40 minutes we were still doing well. So much for (almost) food...

It was sickening again. Quickly grabbed two Happy Meals on the way home. Finally at home arrived. What was missing again? The toy. You can imagine the children’s faces. Happy 1st Advent. Never again McDonald's Meißen.

The restaurant inside is full. There is still space outside. At -1 degrees, the customer with children requests that the outdoor area be closed and heated. The boss has to be asked. We asked 3 times and 3 times nothing happened, probably for the guests This branch probably doesn't care at all...

When I'm on the go and have to urgently, I go to McDonald's 😉

Unfriendly and taciturn service on the MC Drive. Didn't understand half of it. When she noticed that you were already slightly annoyed, she apologized for being in the warehouse while the order was being placed. Then how could she remember the whole order? Not at all, because half of them were wrong. She also reacted very unfriendly when paying and simply slammed the window. Service and customer friendliness are not very important there.

If you know what you want 👍 but the ordering system is a learning experience

Joy for the child...McD...Mc Drive and ordered in the app. Waited a long time to receive lukewarm food. The lid on the drink wasn't put on properly...the soup in the car. A drink mixed with water-disgusting. An attempt was then made to exchange this in the restaurant - the service staff questioned what was supposed to happen with it. Upon repeated request, a new drink was made. Again, the lid is not properly on and spread nicely across the counter. There were no napkins to carry his wet cup away. Of course, the counter was left as is. When there was supposed to be ice cream as dessert, one was bought and one was redeemed using points. You can see directly from the amount that was redeemed using points. It's not the first time but this really goes beyond the scope. The unfriendliness of the staff is the icing on the cake. Underground...never again!

Food and service nice and as expected at McDonald's. But: the play tower is locked with the reason “we lost the key”… ridiculous.

It's just an MC, but what disappoints me is that the toilets somehow never have paper. And it has often happened when ordering take away that things are missing. Of the 20 times you were there, a maximum of 5 were without errors. Otherwise, the staff has a hard time understanding German, not all of them but some but they otherwise do a good job. Hello, I would like to let my wife persuade me to go to McDonalds. But honestly, church in the village, please take care of a bit of cleanliness.

The staff made me a large coffee. Unfortunately, there was half a cup of coffee with foam inside. The staff said it was a big mug and that's how it should be. I ordered a Grande Latte Macchiato and got half a cup of coffee

The tables are not clean at all, like everything here, plus the lukewarm (cold) food here and the staff are semi-friendly 👎

So the quality really leaves a lot to be desired... You can now get better burgers in the kebab shop at the train station. Unfortunately, all you can say about this branch is that the quality as well as the service and the cleanliness reflect the EXTENDED staff... It's best to look at who is behind the cash registers before ordering because there are still one or two younger employees to provide an overview and friendliness

Waited over 45 minutes (!) for our order. If you asked repeatedly, you were rudely turned away and sometimes half yelled at. Never experienced such a bad McDonalds. The food was cold and didn't correspond to the quality you usually get from McDonalds. Better avoid the juice shop.

So we were there today at 11:20 a.m., at the mc drive. It is always a pleasure for us when the nice man takes our order; he radiates a lot of calm and joy. You always have to smile when you see him. Keep it up, keep your positive charisma ☺️

Totally disappointed. I can understand that things can go wrong in a hurry, no question! We were at the drive in and my child currently loves the Smurfs. Of course he was all the more happy about the Smurf in the happy meal. I told him not to open the happy meal until he got home; after all, you don't want fries in the car. When we got home there was a huge disappointment... everything was there except his Smurf.

Absolutely catastrophic, waited 45 minutes for an order and that at 30 degrees without air conditioning. Unfortunately, more and especially more detailed criticism is not permitted here, it is simply shocking.

I actually avoid these chains and only use them when necessary because they are relatively expensive and I don't really like them. But every now and then, if nothing else is available and it's quick, it's ok

I was once again looking forward to my burger at home and once again two pieces were missing. Unfortunately we have a little further to go back. This won't happen to me again for the money.

I've been to Mc's for ages (totally starving), I was really looking forward to stuffing myself with burgers, but then I was very disappointed. The price/performance ratio is no longer correct at all. The burgers are just a “taste” and you shouldn’t even think about the price. At least it doesn't have anything to do with an American fast food restaurant anymore. But the service was good and the restaurant was clean. But I probably won't eat there anymore.
