McDonald's in Rinteln

The best example of one of the worst MC Ds. What is going on here? So dirty, the rubbish is piled so high that you can't put your own down. Rude staff, I can't put it any other way. We ate there, and almost all of it was cold. (We accepted it because we didn't feel like arguing and it's not a gourmet restaurant.) On the way out, we dared to buy some ice cream. We noticed that there was only a tiny drop of sauce in the ice cream; we had already seen that the chocolate sauce was empty when the employee pumped the pump and nothing came out. When I pointed out that the chocolate sauce was missing from all three ice creams, he said he had pressed it, whether I was blind or the sauce would have run under the ice cream. He looked at us disparagingly, shook his head, and told us to leave. Rude, dirty, incompetent. We have truly NEVER experienced anything like this before. 20 minute wait, and the staff were completely overwhelmed. I'm really surprised that this branch can exist in Germany, given all the hygiene controls.

At this McDonald's, whether at the drive-thru or in the restaurant itself, you have to be patient. I don't know of any comparable branch that's this slow.

Always friendly staff and fresh produce. Watch out for hot fries 😉. Everything's always perfect here, other branches could learn from that.

You have to wait a long time for the food, otherwise like everywhere else

At some point you've had enough. You go there to pay for your order and they look at you and act as if you have something to do. You go to the colleague and start gossiping, then someone comes up to you and says I'll be right back. You get a derogatory look and go away to say something to the other colleague and leave the customer standing there. Instead of taking the order, "customer service" says no, you walk away quite leisurely and then you're gone. It's getting worse and worse there, it makes you less and less want to go there. Firstly, it's gotten really expensive and secondly, the customer service, if you can call it that, is a complete disaster, not to mention the cleanliness where you'd break your neck without non-slip shoes.

The food tastes the same in every branch. The drive-thru is disastrous. This is a fast food restaurant.

The service is a complete disaster! You do table service and you wait 17 minutes and nothing happens. After 20 minutes, the store calls your number and you have to pick it up yourself!! Even though it's hardly busy! This place is getting worse and worse. Not recommended.

Unfortunately, it's often very dirty; I even had to wipe it down with a cloth. My orders have often been forgotten, and the staff are often unpleasant. The food is obviously overpriced, but everyone is the same, so you know what to expect. The new iced matcha for €4 was truly disgusting, and the Grimace Shake tasted like chemicals. I'll be staying away from those drinks from now on!!! Otherwise, the food is acceptable 👍🏻.

Very dirty..🤮 Usually there isn't even a single German in the building... So it's impossible to understand, food (extras) are sometimes completely forgotten... The food is okay, there are worse things. Don't even need to talk about the toilets. Always full of vaping teenagers and always extremely dirty. 🤬 Everyone thinks the toilet is now a photo room and you can harass other people there if you just need to go to the bathroom. That's absolutely NOT OK!!! The prices are really expensive, barely affordable for cheap food. €20 for four things, never... With a lot of luck, it's hot. Staff who understand and speak German, a clean atmosphere, and getting your whole order! Would be great!!😒

Incompetent and rude staff, dirty shop and extremely slow

The hamburgers at McDonald's for €2.20!!! I'd skip the bun altogether...the company can make even more profit that way...I haven't had such a bad bun in a long time. Thin as a pancake. McDonald's products around the world are a mess of artificial flavors and over-seasoning. It's not my thing at all...and the prices for the products are completely inflated.

No. The women's restroom is broken. You can't get out once you've locked it. After informing the staff, the only response was that they were aware of it. No action has been taken. Restaurant Rinteln at 7:00 p.m. today. That's completely unacceptable.

I made an order where I only have to pay on site. The order was not made and the topic of attention was not even mentioned. It took 10 minutes for a cash register to stand there and then the missing order didn't work at all and the team was totally lost. It's a shame.

It's still pathetic that McDonald's, unlike Burger King, can't manage to offer a wider selection of vegetarian and, above all, vegan products. We went to McDonald's because we didn't have any alternatives, and afterwards we realized why we've been avoiding the store for years. Update June 13, 2025, 4:55 PM: The server in the drive-thru (brown hair, braid) didn't understand one of my questions and asked with a "HUH???"... Substandard behavior. P.S. Four years ago, my review had more stars. Definitely not anymore. It's a fast food restaurant, and now you wait 20 minutes for your food. The tables are always dirty, the floor sticky. The service is terrible, no greeting, nothing at all. You wait forever at the checkout without even being looked at. Plus, something's always missing. This used to be much better. I'm so disappointed!

The staff is really confused. They take your number from the order board early, but you don't get your order until 15 minutes later, after your number has already been taken and you've already waited 15 minutes for five cheeseburgers. McDonalds should find decent staff. This is a fast food place, not waiting until your temper explodes.

It's completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, you have to give it one star to post it, but it deserves zero stars. The food was cold, something was missing again, so you had to go back. Diarrhea was inevitable. This McDonald's is completely unacceptable. We won't be going to the store again.

We were just at the McDrive. The employee was extremely rude. After our order was taken, there was no indication that we could pull up, so we waited to see if we could follow up. After a while, we received an unfriendly response saying that our order had been taken and that we should continue driving. Likewise, when the food was handed out, there was no comment as to whether anything else was coming. So we left after a while, as despite eye contact, there was no further comment. When we got home, we noticed that a portion of fries was missing. We're not used to such poor service and are very disappointed.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to – twice! I've been to this branch twice now – and that was definitely two too many. As soon as you walk in, you notice how dirty it is. Trash everywhere, sticky tables, dirty floors, and awful restrooms. You get the feeling they don't clean here anymore. But the employees are even worse: zero friendliness, no "hello," no "goodbye," no eye contact – just completely disinterested. And the best part: I didn't even get my change! The employee just kept it without a word; that's never happened to me before. When I asked, I was just given a strange look, as if I were being annoying. Customer service? Hygiene? Respect? – None of that exists here. This was by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. And I won't be doing it again. Absolutely not recommended!

Even one star is too much. I ordered two McFlurrys, but the employee didn't seem to begrudge us any. There was only a small blob of Smarties in the McFlurrys, and you could even see the bottom of the cup. I've been eating there less and less lately anyway, but this surpassed everything and I'll never set foot in that place again. Better go to Burger King in Minden if you want something decent like that.

To order at the drive in you have to know Japanese, so I can communicate better in the nail studio than with the Asian woman who runs the drive

Sorry, but unfortunately that's just bad - and not worth more than this 1 star for the efforts of some employees. As an aside, it should be mentioned that the existing x chances of winning were more like x-50% because there is no sticker on the packaging of the promised product. Apart from the fact that the user is forced to download the app and enter a code there before the classic instant win, the street or anything else from McDonald's Monopoli is even visible and STILL there is a sticker on the packaging to print the code... if it's digital, then please do it correctly.

It went pretty quickly until it was your turn. When I order the 322 you should assume that everything is in stock. Unfortunately it wasn't like that, no Ceesnuggets, no iced tea. Then she recommended the MC Grispy to me with Nugget, okay, I took that. I was at Mc Donalds Rinteln in the Mc drive. First I wanted a milkshake and was told "we don't have it" then I wanted a Mc Flurry. Then they said the machine was broken. Then I drove. The employee spoke almost no German and didn't say hello or goodbye.

Been there again after a long time. I'm surprised that the health department hasn't been there yet. UPDATE: 15.01.25 The attention and waiting times have improved greatly. This "Fast Food" restaurant is missing the "fast" It took us 40 minutes to get our food in an almost empty restaurant. This used to be a really nice location, but since a couple weeks ago it has been declining. First it was only at night, there would be items missing from the orders, then the waiting times became longer. We tried giving Breakfast time an oportunity, but again, we were disappointed. After waiting for about 25 minutes we asked for our order to be packed to-go instead of dine-in... it still took an extra 15 minutes until we could have our food. Just sad.

Unfortunately it is always very busy at the appropriate times. If you come at typical meal times you usually have to wait a long time. We had always waited 40 to 50 minutes on our last three visits. And that's even worse with the McDrive. Here you wait a maximum of 20 minutes, but the cars waiting for food pile up in front and block traffic. Cleanliness and order also look different. The floor is always dirty, sometimes with life-threatening slippery grease that cannot be wiped away. And the toilets are the crowning glory, mostly clogged and broken and endlessly dirty. McDonald's used to look different. But this doesn't just apply to McDonald's. But the worst thing for me is that the food is often delivered completely cold and dried out, and then it doesn't taste good and everything is in vain. However: IF the food is brought fresh, then the taste is great, you have to leave that alone!!

I drove to mcs at 10 p.m It started with the terminal not working, you had to break your index finger on the screen to get it to respond. The chicken burgers were raw, I thought I was eating a live chicken, which I only noticed after 5 bites. I then handed them over and only heard that the chicken was done. Then got 2 new ones and what happened, I ate live chicken with wet breading again. The first employee who came to us and brought our food couldn't speak any German. We tell him there's something else on the number, he says I don't understand and leaves. Shortly afterwards he also broke a plate. The tables were terribly dirty, we waited 24 minutes to order even though there were almost no visitors.
