Very good food, friendly people and a nicely decorated snack bar. You couldn't ask for more - definitely a recommendation!

Warning to all burger fans! Here you get an unseasoned, not tasty, formed meatball in a supermarket bun with iceberg lettuce, a huge amount of Bautzner burger sauce, some cucumber, a slice of tomato, some ketchup and a teaspoon of fried onions for an overpriced €8.50. Small fries cost another €3.50 Book it! Better not!!! If you can't do burgers, you shouldn't offer them!

Our snapshot October 18, 2024 around 12 p.m.: We ordered a meatball, a fries with curry sauce. We were supposed to pay €9.50, I asked what the price was, the waiter said: €3.50 for the meatball, €3.50 for the fries, €2.50 for the curry sauce, that wouldn't be ketchup but curry sauce and sauce costs €2.50 extra, I said €6 for fries with curry sauce? She said the boss sets the prices! Bratwurst costs 3.50€, currywurst costs 4€, so I pay 0.50€ more for the curry sauce if I take a currywurst, if I have a fries with curry sauce I pay 2.50€ more, what's wrong here??? According to the price list, the meatball costs €3, we should pay €3.50, doesn't the waitress know the prices? The bar table wasn't wiped down, there was time, there was nothing going on, we were the only customers, the meatball was flattened, perhaps to appear larger? That made it too dry, fries + service ok but nothing more, for the ambience without proper seating inside The prices (burgers + schnitzel) are too high, we are often in the area but we will no longer stop at this snack bar, unfortunately, although we like to eat out, today it was very disappointing and it is really very rare that we only give one star give. To your answer: We didn't order double sauce or get it, we just ordered curry sauce with the fries, nothing else and should pay €2.50 for sauce which costs €0.50 more for a currywurst compared to a bratwurst. We felt just bummer for us... Maybe you should work on criticism and not just look for excuses?

Since the takeover, the whole thing has been upgraded a little, otherwise it's exactly what you expect from a snack bar, delicious quick food 👍🏿

We stopped here and ate the western burger and a cheeseburger. It was delicious, I'd love to come back :)

Today you ate there again for ages. The new owners were very friendly, everything was super clean and the food was delicious and freshly prepared. Thumbs up, I hope it holds up 👍👍👍👍

Great schnitzel dishes, this is what Rinteln has been waiting for. Quality is far above snack bar level. We'd love to come back.

On the way home (Holzminden district) today we decided not to take the motorway but rather a country road. When hunger hit us and our baby demanded a break from driving, we came to this snack bar. Even though the journey here was a bit more difficult thanks to the construction site, it was worth it! Both the cheeseburger and currywurst were freshly prepared and tasted great. The ambience and operator are also convincing. Clear recommendation! :-)

Finally a good German snack bar where everything is super fresh and not just made for convenience. Schnitzel is super tasty and not too expensive for the size. Gyros delicious. Small menu but always fresh. Hopefully the new owner will survive the construction site. Go there despite or precisely because of it. Keep it up.

German cuisine, good atmosphere, nice beer garden. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and the food is more of a restaurant level than a snack bar. An enrichment for Rinteln and the surrounding area.

The new operators of Schauinsland have only been there since August 1st. at the start. And I can only recommend it. The chef and the staff are really nice and warm. But above all, it tastes really good and the prices are right too. I had a (large) Jägerschnitzel, the sauce was with lots of fresh mushrooms. Yummy. If I hadn't been so full afterwards, I would have tried the cake or muffins too. I'd love to come back.

We ate there today on the way home from vacation, everything was great from the choice of food to the friendliness to the ambience. Top snack, I can only recommend it. We had several different dishes, all of which were great. I will definitely eat again.

Went there today on the trip from vacation with the caravan, parking lot was great, meadow for children was also great, on a long journey! Terrace in the front area and in the beer garden was really nice, now for dinner we had homemade gyros with ttatziki, great schnitzel, burgers and everything homemade with love and joy in the food, top restaurateur, just great

Highly recommended since the reopening on August 1st, 2024! Everything homemade, no frozen goods. Everything the three of us ate was very tasty and sufficient! In addition, the boss, who cooks himself, and the employees are very friendly. We'd love to come back!!!

Was there today, the snack bar has only been open since August 1st, 2024. Had the 300g burger to take away. It was super tasty. The chef was super nice and the snack bar looks great from the inside. Simply great. I hope that the owner can have the old reviews from the 4 previous owners from the last 6 years deleted because some of them are really bad. The current owner doesn't appear first on Google, but the previous owners. I hope the store will stay. I will come back 😊

Brand new opened on August 1st, 2024. Great food and great service. Gyros very tasty and currywurst and fries too. Chef cooks himself and is Austrian. I would also give 6 stars.

A great snack, I ate the gyros and it was way above snack level! You can eat very comfortably in the small backyard. Super friendly staff

I'm really surprised! The best kebab in Bückeburg... The owner makes it with so much love, always adds extra meat and sauce, great!
