McDonald's in Ottersberg

We were stuck in the drive-thru for an hour with our baby; we are speechless and will avoid this branch in the future. Nothing was moving.

The drive-thru is a disaster. 10 minutes of standstill with no information.

Way too long a wait, many items already cold before they even made it into the bag, some items forgotten, totally overwhelmed staff, no system, running around like a flock of startled chickens. Maybe they should put someone at the drive-thru who speaks and understands our language. Sorry, but the worst McDonald's in the north.

Super fast and flexible service; the food was exactly as I ordered, without any mistakes like at other restaurants, which unfortunately often happens to me and involves a very long wait. Here, they were very quick and even took an extra order.

We ate there, and the food arrived on time. Mr. Alkanli was very pleased – he is an extremely polite person. I took special care to ensure everything ran smoothly, and he greatly appreciated my attention and kindness.

I have to say, this McDonald's is by far the best I've ever been to. The food is always fresh and hot, the service is fast, and the staff are always friendly. Like anywhere, things can go wrong sometimes, but here you always get quick and customer-oriented help. Most importantly, it's always clean and tidy, which is unfortunately quite rare in other McDonald's locations.

I wanted to grab something from the drive-thru last night around 9:30 pm, but it was a complete disaster. The employee wasn't very motivated. After he refused/couldn't put together my meal the way I usually do, I left without any food. A total catastrophe.

The food was good. The ice cream was nothing like the quality we're used to from other McDonald's. Completely watery. Drinks without ice. Toilets were awful. Even though, according to the schedule, someone had cleaned them 40 minutes before. The sink desperately needs a proper cleaning. Toilet seats were dirty. There were maybe 15 people there at the time.

A McDonald's like many others doesn't stand out in either a positive or negative way.

It couldn't be better! Staff who come to the table and ask if everything is okay! Clean tables and chairs and a clean restroom. Fresh cut flowers in vases on the tables. And the food is freshly prepared! Other McDonald's branches should take a leaf out of their book!

We waited 10 minutes in the drive-thru before we could place our order. Then another 10 minutes until the chicken nuggets were ready. A simple meal for a low-volume crowd. This has nothing to do with a fast-food restaurant.

We were there today and ordered and paid via the app. Two M menus with a side dish and a drink A honey mustard wrap without tomato A double chicken burger The first M menu consisted of a burger, fries, mayo, and a Fanta without ice cream. I got a burger that looked like it had been used for handball. The fries were cold and soggy. There was no mayo at all. Fanta was with ice cream, even though I had specifically requested this. The second M menu consisted of a burger, lattice potatoes, and sour cream. The drink I ordered was a latte macchiato with white chocolate. My girlfriend got An M burger, lattice potatoes, and no sour cream dip. The latte macchiato had no white chocolate, so it was a regular latte. The wrap was ordered without tomato, but it wasn't included at first. After complaining about the Fanta, mayo, and dip, I was given two mayo and dip and a new Fanta without ice cream. However, he didn't want to take the other Fanta back either and told us to keep it in the car. We had to mention four times that the wrap without tomato was still missing before we got it. So we drove out of the drive-thru and sat down to eat. We then discovered that the wrap was with tomato and not the one we ordered without. It must be said that the waitress at the window wasn't very friendly when we complained about what was missing. They didn't provide any napkins either. It's a shame how things work there.

I was there today and I'm really satisfied. The team was friendly, attentive, and worked calmly and organized despite the large number of guests. My food was delicious, especially the fries. The restaurant itself was also clean and tidy, which is very important to me. Ordering via the machine was quick and easy, and the food was served promptly. Overall, a very pleasant visit; I'd be happy to return!

I usually hate fast food! But I'm happy to make an exception for this one. Especially because it's so quick and the staff is always friendly :))

We celebrated our son's birthday here today and had a fantastic day! We received super friendly service, the staff was fantastic, and everything went better than expected. The kids were absolutely thrilled, especially with the tour, the cooling... and, of course, being able to pour their own soft serve ice cream. Kudos to the entire team! We were completely satisfied and can absolutely recommend it. 👍

We were there earlier and ordered three takeout meals. The place was pretty empty, and the employees seemed to have little to do, but we still had to wait almost 25 minutes for our order! By the time we finally got it and went to the car, our food was already cold. Then we noticed that the burgers weren't topped as requested. Since we didn't feel like going back inside and waiting for a long time, we simply scraped the unwanted topping off ourselves. Oh, and during the 25-minute wait, we also got a good look at how many customers complained about receiving incorrect orders. You really have to have studied to create such a service! We'll probably go to Bockel next time!

First of all, I have to admit that I'm not a huge Mecces fan, but due to my children and the amount of time I spend on the road, I go there regularly. But today—oh wonder—I enjoyed it. Right from the start, I noticed the extremely attentive manager, who was proactively checking the receipt rolls at the terminals and didn't wait until the last terminal had pulled out a leg. And, even more amazingly, the food was really good. With the new concept, the food is freshly prepared at Mecces anyway, but this time it tasted just as good. The service was better than in many other restaurants. Full marks—who would have thought there were such differences here? Someone has their place completely under control!!!

Big praise for this McDonald's! All the employees are super friendly, and they're very kind and helpful to each other. Employees ask you if everything is messy or if there's anything wrong. Everything is very clean. 5 stars!!! I'm extremely satisfied.

We were there today for the release of the BTS happy meal and, as always, were not disappointed! The food was made quickly and was very hot and, as always, delicious :) The people who work there are always very nice too! Special thanks to the nice gentleman whose name I don't know 😅

We celebrated a child's birthday here today. What can I say... A huge thank you to the restaurant manager, who organized everything. The decorations were beautiful, she was very attentive to the children, and always made sure no one was missing anything. The children really enjoyed the tour of the kitchen. Thank you for still having such dedicated and enthusiastic people who enjoy seeing children's eyes light up.

It was very busy and took a little longer, but the staff were still very friendly and did their best.

Unfortunately, I'm completely overwhelmed. Even when it's quiet, I rarely get what I ordered. Today it's busy, customers are waiting for more than 50 minutes, and there's a lot of stress and hecticness, both of which aren't very productive. The screen with the pickup numbers hasn't been turned on for a long time, and with all the noise, I can only hope to hear my pickup number at some point. If only I had gone to a decent restaurant, I would have at least waited for decent food in a nice atmosphere.

Fast food came fast as expected

It's taking so long right now. You wait forever for a simple standard order – and then often half the order is still missing. It's really awful!

Every time, you wait at least 30 minutes for your ordered food at the drive-thru, regardless of whether it's busy or no one is there at all. The food doesn't exactly taste fresh either. These waits are so annoying because it's like this every time. That's why we often prefer to drive to Achim, but it's the same there these days.

I was just at McDonald's and ordered a Burger. Since I was in the drive-thru, I didn't check my order until I got home, where I discovered that my Burger had been bitten. This is a complete disgrace...

McDonald's is like garbage. If you go there and eat from the garbage, it's healthier. Basically, you're taking your money and throwing it in the trash.

Run away, a huge operation is tarnishing the McDonald's name. You can hardly walk because of the filth. There's sauce and bread all over the floor, it's horrible under the tables, and the smell is unpleasant. An irresponsible operation with an irresponsible owner.

Was there yesterday afternoon. Ordered, received our food after less than 3 minutes. The shop is beautifully clean and the food is freshly prepared, just the way you want it to be, great!

We were here at 9:30 p.m. Besides the three of us, there was only one other couple there. Although everything has been renovated, it's absolutely filthy and dirty, from the electrical outlets to every single table. The floor was filthy, too. All three of us had fries, and they weren't even lukewarm, they were cold. The staff were busy talking privately. They clearly didn't care about the mess around them. Absolutely the most disgusting McDonald's I've ever been to. The photos don't even begin to capture how filthy it is.

Unfortunately, you can't give 0 stars. First we waited 15-20 minutes for the food, then we got a bad milkshake. The milk was sour and smelled unpleasant. After asking for a new shake, we got the same thing again... a mess...

The worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. Slow, overwhelmed, order incorrect. This is my second visit, but also my last. Truly not recommended.

Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. A hamburger wrapped in cheeseburger paper—that says it all. Everything was cold and sticky. I don't know why all the old staff left, but there must be reasons. It's very difficult to talk to the staff. It's a shame you can't eat there anymore...

Horrible... It might have been a fast-food restaurant once, but today you wait 20 minutes for your food. The fries were at least as old. In the 45 minutes we were in the restaurant, not a single table was wiped down, and they'd rather not even look in the corners or at the electrical outlets. So, this restaurant has absolutely failed, and no one will see us there again!

Ordered takeout with three people. Waited almost 40 minutes. ALL the burgers were carelessly smashed and squashed together. One burger was missing the sauce, another was missing the lettuce. One of two packs of 20 nuggets was forgotten. The other pack was the disgusting plant-based nuggets instead of the regular ones. The fries were already cold when we got the food. A double cheeseburger had a McRib sticker on it. I will NOT go back here.

July 31, 2025 Unfortunately, we had already ordered via the display... only then did I go to the restroom. The women's restroom was absolutely disgusting; one restroom was too dirty; the toilet brush was stuck in the second restroom. Our food was brought to us straight away - I pointed out the condition of the women's restrooms, and the response was appalling: "That's just how it is, there aren't enough staff, so the restroom can't be cleaned." The food didn't match our order, was partly cold, and seemed to have been thrown together with an extremely careless approach. Later, we had stomach problems... August 2024 Almost all of the free tables were dirty, so we had to clean them first with disinfectant and napkins. The salad had brown spots, one menu was served quickly without a word, the second menu sat on the counter for at least 2 minutes and was not served, and when an employee went to serve it, she walked through the entire restaurant with it and served it without a word.

The staff were very rude. We received cold food and the place wasn't clean, especially the toilets. When we asked about the problem, they responded very rudely and irritably. When our order arrived, half was missing and the other half was cold. When we told them what was missing and the other half was cold, the staff claimed that everything was there, even though we could prove with the receipt that what was missing. The only downside was that our vegetarian food wasn't vegetarian. I wouldn't recommend this MC anymore; go eat at Dodenhof instead; it's much cleaner and more polite.

The worst MCs I've ever been to. It takes forever to get your food even though it's not even that full. It was dirty, and the staff were really unmotivated and forced themselves to be nice. I'll never go there again.

Very long wait! I've never waited so long for food at McDonald's... 35 minutes later, the food still wasn't delivered. It's so fast food! The employees seem unmotivated... I won't be coming back!

We were there with a child and didn't want to wait in line, so we ordered to our table. The order arrived, but we were missing a burger, a wrap, and six chicken nuggets—about two-thirds of the order. It wasn't so bad, as it arrived quickly when we asked (although it was a bit difficult to communicate due to the language barrier). Two tables next door had the same problem. Otherwise, the restrooms weren't very clean, and the towels weren't coming out of the dispenser. I found it so-so.

Hello and good day...I was at your POSTHAUSEN branch on Monday, July 28, 2025, around 1:00 PM...I just wanted to get a chicken burger...I had already paid and was waiting in the branch...and it took and took...after 20 minutes...I wanted my money back...because I didn't have any more time...and a few customers there had the same experience...some had already waited 30 minutes...the wrong money was given...I still haven't gotten my money back today...it was chaos there...Your employees were totally unfriendly and barely understood German...my rating is a solid "6" POSTHAUSEN NO THANKS!!!!!

A disaster. The staff has no German language skills, moves slowly, and is overwhelmed! After waiting for over 45 minutes, the food still wasn't there. Please train the staff and replace the shift manager, as they were hiding in the office!

Trashiest McD Ive ever visited. They let someone take our bag without controlling receipts, almost didnt want to serve us due to their mistake and provided us with an order almost 60 percent wrong. In a party of 3 orders, all three of us had something wrong with our order. That on top of the atmosphere in the kitchen being completely silent, as if they didnt dare speak with each other. Noone able to converse in english in order to fix their mistakes. Would NOT recommend.

We were there yesterday, and the air in the store was bad. The floor was sticky. The tables inside and outside were all dirty. The return counters were full. However, the staff were very busy serving the customers on site. Perhaps they're simply short on staff?

Despite the new employee and the stress, the staff remain pleasant, friendly, and fulfill all our wishes! We felt very comfortable and welcome! Keep it up!

Absolutely not recommended. The staff is completely overwhelmed, and hygiene isn't a priority. The fries are prepared without gloves, there's trash on the floor, and half of your order is missing. Furthermore, the wait is extremely long. If you want to pay in cash, you'll probably have to wait 10-15 minutes...

We chose this McDonald's after we were no longer satisfied in Rotenburg. Initially, we were satisfied, but now this place is no longer recommended either. The fries are usually cold, the burgers are usually thrown together carelessly.
