Unfortunately, only 1 star. The store was packed, two employees were sitting in the customer area on their phones; I don't know if they were on break, but it didn't look good. The tables were dirty and hadn't been wiped down. I've never experienced anything like this at our "home branch" in Hamm Uentrup. A disappointing experience.

It's no longer enjoyable to eat there. Yesterday, there were 10 people working the front of house, and they couldn't even manage to make a new burger that I sent back because it was freezing cold. During the time I was there, there were four other complaints. I got my money back. Too many staff members aren't a good thing either; mistakes happen.

I repeat, the place was absolutely chaotic. People have already complained after waiting over 30 minutes. They were just rudely dismissed and shown the stack of order slips. It's truly a shame that this place is one of the worst in the Lippstadt area. It's high time for a change! A new manager and new staff!!

The trash area is overflowing, and the restrooms reek of urine. The tables are sticky, and the counter is covered in rings from drink cups. There were six people sitting in the restaurant. There was only one car in the drive-thru. I've been to other McDonald's restaurants where both the restaurant and drive-thru are busy. They're much cleaner!

Ordered a double meal deal – fries and Coke were great, but the burgers were oversalted, almost entirely covered in onions, and cut way too thick with hardly any lettuce. They tasted only of salt and onions. Too bad. I'll only order the burgers without onions from now on, but lately the burgers have been tasting good again, with a decent amount of lettuce. Friendly staff. Currently good deals with the app.

From Friday to Saturday, November 1st, at 12:20 AM, I ordered four chicken burgers without sauce and four extra portions of mayonnaise. I gave a €3 tip, and when the employee handed me the bag, he said he'd put the mayo in the burgers. Why? I wanted to use the mayo for something else and order the burgers without sauce! That was one mistake too many, and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure this place gets what's coming to it. I came straight from the night shift, wanted to eat, and then this happens. (Maybe they wanted to use one portion of mayonnaise to make two burgers and charge me four times for it? Spoiling the customer's meal for small change and a handout?)

It's usually pointless to review a McDonald's. But here in Lippstadt, I have to. The atmosphere is awful! Loud radio music that cuts out every few seconds before starting up again. Add to that the constant whistling and beeping that makes every visit to McDonald's almost unbearable. The employees stare right at you and grin. Mind you, this happens when you're eating at a table and they're standing behind the counter, right across the room. Very unpleasant. In the restroom, the urinals are covered with garbage bags, the door handle is missing and just leans against the wall in a corner. It stinks in there, and the water doesn't run after you've urinated. Truly disgusting. I recommend avoiding this place!

This branch makes a rather poor impression. While they're visibly tidying up and cleaning, during our visit, it was only a quick, brief cleaning. Some food scraps were left on the table or floor. The food itself was generally up to standard and arrived quickly enough.

The worst McDonald's I've ever known. The employees are always unfriendly, orders are always wrong, and some burgers come with sauces that aren't even part of the burger?! If you order without onions, for example, you only get onions 😂. Truly awful!

I've been there several times, and it gets worse each time. No table is cleaned, and customers' food is everywhere. But what's absolutely not the case is that there was once a dead fly at the very bottom of the fries. Disgusting. Getting the wrong burger, ordering a new one, and getting the wrong one again—you have to be able to do that, crazy. In general, the place is so low-key dirty and everything is sticky. I'm happy to give you five stars because you're always nice. Burgers are always delicious, just like McDonald's. But what's really annoying is when you're at your drive-thru McDonald's and there's a leaky gutter in front of the window where you pick up your food, about 3 meters from the window, and it's constantly dripping onto the window, which is so annoying when you're standing in line. You're not informed that items are out of stock (but you can still order them), and the order is simply given to the customer incomplete. The chocolate milkshake tastes like strawberries. Simply a disappointment.

Worst order ever at a McDonald's! I ordered and paid for 3 takeout items. When I picked it up, one item was sold out. When I got home, I realized I hadn't gotten a McSpicy, but a McCrispy, and instead of a strawberry milkshake, I had a vanilla one. So, I ordered 3 items, and nothing worked. What a shame!

The worst McDonald's I've ever visited! I've been to many McDonald's locations around the world, but none have been as disappointing as this one in Lippstadt. The staff are unfriendly, irritable, and completely unwilling to compromise. Simple customer requests are ignored. We've never gotten a fresh cheeseburger here; we've always gotten lukewarm or stale cheese. The worst part: Even a single hair in one cheeseburger was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! For an international chain like McDonald's, this is a real disgrace. I honestly can't recommend this location to anyone.

This branch is impossible. We were just passing through and wanted a quick breakfast. You get something different to what you ordered and then they start arguing even though you keep showing them your order on your phone. In the end I gave up and just left. I don't waste energy on that. Apart from that, we waited over half an hour for two breakfast menus, even though there was only one car in front and maybe five people in the restaurant when I complained about my incorrect order. I thought there couldn't be as many bad reviews as there are here, but this branch really does seem to be so abysmally bad. The worst I've ever experienced and I travel a lot all over Europe.

The black-haired employee, who often works late shifts, is extremely unfriendly and treats customers disrespectfully, as if they were worthless. I have the feeling the employees either can't read or can't count. I placed a takeout order yesterday and unfortunately didn't check to see if everything was okay until I got home. I ordered 9 nuggets and got 6. Furthermore, the entire order was jumbled together in the bag, with some of the burgers lying sideways in the bag. That's why they looked the part.

I drove through the McDrive-Thru on Sunday evening/night. My order included a cheeseburger and McShaker fries. Instead of a cheeseburger, I got a chicken burger and no McShaker fries. It was too crowded to drive through again. What a shame! My daughter was very sad.

We ordered from the drive-thru. Despite repeated inquiries, we received the wrong order. We wanted plant-based nuggets but got regular ones. We were at home when we noticed this and called and asked for new ones, as this wasn't the first time (it was a 5-minute walk). We were assured we would receive new ones in half an hour. After over an hour, we still hadn't received anything, and our number was blocked, so we couldn't inquire further.

Since the new franchisee took over, the store has become a complete dump. Everything is just dirty and disgusting. Tables, floors, outdoor area—everything.

We pointed out to an employee that our table could be wiped down. The place was simply disgusting. Tables and floors were dirty. I didn't dare go to the restroom again, and I don't even want to know what the kitchen might be like. It was definitely the last time we ate there.

Most shocking, however, was that employees smoke inside while on duty. With behavior like this, it's no wonder I felt sick after eating. Food poisoning is no surprise in these conditions. Overall, my visit was a disgrace, and I absolutely cannot recommend this branch. An inspection is urgently needed! A restaurant cannot be operated like this.

I went to this McDonald's today after years. The fries tasted old and like the fat hadn't been changed. The chicken nuggets weren't even cooked through, and the McDonald's had a really strange aftertaste, as if it had dish soap in it. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and if we served something like that, the health department would shut us down. My mom and I felt sick after trying the "food." Please contact me for compensation. This is absolutely unacceptable, and please rethink your staff!

I've traveled a lot in Germany, and right where I live is this McDonald's... 6 burgers (all the same), 3 fries, two of which were only half full. 3 Cokes (more ice than Coke), and 2 20-ounce nuggets. This is what my takeout order looked like today. One 20-ounce nugget was completely missing, two bags of fries were only half full, and the burgers looked kind of overcooked. There was more ice in the Coke cup than Coke. I'd understand if the place had been full, but if anything, the place was only a quarter full. Sorry guys, the first thing you have to do is choose your career. Customer satisfaction should be your top priority. I'd rather go to a kebab shop in the future. I know my money is better spent...

After all the one-star reviews, we had absolutely no expectations of this branch and were rather hesitant about even going there. After yesterday's visit, I can at least say for us: it's a McDonald's like any other. You simply can't expect a Michelin-starred menu or sparkling clean dining options here, but then again, I generally don't expect that from fast food chains. The atmosphere at McDonald's is generally not pleasant. However, we got some of the hottest fries we've ever had at McDonald's, and the rest of the food tasted exactly as expected. The Coke had ice in it, and the food itself and the packaging weren't dirty. The employees we interacted with were also friendly. The food arrived at our table after a short wait of about five minutes; the fries were brought later, but that was also no problem. Overall, not the prettiest place, but at least we didn't encounter the problems mentioned here.

You could wait 100 years until someone comes along. Tables, benches, and the floor are filthy. On top of that, the benches are stapled so close together that it makes you claustrophobic. Two of us went there and ordered a cappuccino, ice cream, and a donut via drive-thru. I've never eaten such a bad donut. The dough tasted old and rancid. Even the chocolate wasn't good. I had to throw the donut away after one bite because neither I nor my boyfriend liked it. The cappuccino was okay. Still, it only gets one star because the donut was incredibly bad. 🤢 The McDonald's in Geseke is a thousand times better.

When you visit the golden M, you're probably aware of a few things, but this branch is truly substandard. The "vegetables" on the TS smell rotten, there's no ice in the Coke, the cheeseburger is cold, the fries aren't cooked through, and the building is filthy. Tip: If you're just passing through, keep going and stop at the next branch.

I was at McDonald's on Erwitterstrasse today. The place was completely filthy. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the previous customer's business was still in the bowl. There was no soap in the sink. The sink was also clogged. The floor was sticky. All the tray return stations were overflowing, and trash was piling up on the tables. The restaurant was only moderately busy, so the employees should have had plenty of time to clean up. But no one felt responsible. I've never seen such conditions in other restaurants.

The fries and chicken wings had been sitting under the heat lamp for what felt like three hours. We had to reassemble the still Coke and the burgers; the ingredients were scattered chaotically throughout the box.

Some employees are unfriendly, and the drive-thru line takes forever. We ordered a Big Mac meal and got everything except the Big Mac. When the problem was addressed, I was not understood and received no compensation or anything else. Paid €10.99 for nothing! A disaster.

Complaint about an employee at McDrive Ladies and Gentlemen on May 1st, 2025 at 11:44:55 p.m. I placed an order via the McDrive in your branch (order number #296/0). Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of your employees. When I pulled up to the first counter I wasn't greeted or served. There was no one present at the second counter either, which is why I continued to the third counter. There I finally met an employee who then went back to the second counter. As I drove back to the second counter, the employee spoke to me unfriendly and in a condescending tone. She accused me of not placing an order at the first counter. When I explained to her that I had tried to order but no one responded to my approach, she denied that she wasn't there and claimed that the cameras showed I wasn't there. No apology was given for the inconvenience. Instead, she continued to speak to me in an inappropriate and disrespectful tone, explaining that she was alone and had to operate all three counters at the same time. I was particularly irritated when, after placing my order, she reacted angrily to my request to order two additional cheeseburgers and asked why I hadn't ordered them right from the start. Normally you'll be asked if there's anything else you'd like to add - this wasn't the case here. In addition, she spoke to me several times in a foreign language during the conversation, although I cannot rule out that insults were also used. In the end I discovered that I was charged for three portions of mayonnaise even though I didn't order it. Instead, I just asked for a portion of fries. I find this employee's behavior extremely unprofessional and disappointing. When I asked to speak to someone in charge, she succinctly told me to come back the next morning, as if I had any time to do so. I request you to take this matter seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.

We've been there twice. They made my McFlurry wrong the first time (luckily I still had the receipt!). Today I picked a Minecraft Surprise Happy Meal and it wasn't until it arrived at the table that they said, "We're out of Minecraft Surprises." That was the only reason I was there. Bad service. The nearby Burger King is better – friendlier staff!

The food was McDonald's quality. Cleanliness wasn't really a priority, which even the few plastic flowers couldn't save. But at least the table service was friendly. The preparation time for the “food” was quite long for fast food, rather like that in a higher-order restaurant (waited 20 minutes) 😉

Twice I purchased meals from this McDonald's twice I had rancid meat in Big Tasty burgers. This is unnaceptable in 2023. It's simply a major health issue. Normal Hamburgers and fries were ok though. Edit from 2025: while meat quality improved a bit, a new problem happened twice. For takeaway the burgers were missing for 2 times now. Employees simply count on stealing

Unfortunately one of the worst McDonald's there is, people smoke in the kitchen and complaints to McDonald's are not responded to. They can't get the food out of the ordering terminals if it's no longer available. The tables are always full of leftover food and garbage, mainly due to the antisocial customers and the poor service. I can't recommend it more, you know.

Our food was simply forgotten. It was only after the second question that we understood what the problem was and the food came at some point.

Das Personal ist ebenfalls extrem ungeschult/unfähig und unfreundlich. Selbst wenn man nach Monaten Pause mal wieder spontan dort kauft, sind die Probleme immer dieselben. Es gibt bestimmt auch einzelne „vernünftige“ Angestellte, die sind aber scheinbar zu selten oder gar nicht mehr dort am arbeiten. Fazit: Seit Jahren ein Geschäft, welches man am besten weiträumig umfährt. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

My parents went to McDonald's today. The restrooms were dirty and the tables weren't clean. There was trash lying around everywhere outside. The food was lukewarm. The only good thing was that Mr. Martin Kranz was, as always, very nice and friendly.

FINAL CATASTROPHE!!! After standing in the MC Drive-In for 15 minutes with nothing moving, we decided to go to the restaurant instead. A fatal mistake! After placing our order, we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. It was packed, with at least 7-8 employees running around like a madhouse, disoriented, and it was just awful. Sorry to put it this way, but it really was like that! It was dirty, too! At least nothing was missing.
