McDonald's in Olpe

Please understand this is just my opinion and impression; I wouldn't recommend it. In no way could I recommend it. Wrong item delivered, half the ingredients were missing, the ordered lactose and sweetener were forgotten, or maybe they just couldn't be bothered. Of course, there was nothing to stir, even with the XXL drink. No thanks, I'm done for next year 🤬

The toilets could be cleaner, but the service was okay.

I visited the McDonald's in Olpe on November 20, 2025. Unfortunately, one employee stood out to me due to his very unprofessional behavior. While working, he repeatedly made statements about being a rapper, spoke loudly about "Geisweid Rap," and seemed disoriented and uncertain about his tasks. As a customer, I had the impression that he wasn't in control of his responsibilities. The visit was therefore disruptive and left a negative impression.

McDonald's is no longer an option for me. It's all just junk now, nothing new, and it doesn't taste good anyway. So I went straight across the street. I ordered a McPlant Wrap and got chicken. I had to give it to my daughter because I can't eat poultry. Good thing I saw it. That's just unacceptable.

Very fast service and food preparation

As soon as it gets busy and there are many customers, they can't keep up with the orders. You get forgotten or have to wait over 45 minutes for your food. If you bring it up with the staff, they usually fix it pretty quickly… It's quite alarming how quickly McDonald's in Olpe can deteriorate in terms of customer service.

Absolutely disastrous! The staff were completely overwhelmed – at least every other order was wrong or simply deleted without ever being packed. 40 minutes wait! The burger and fries were cold because they had been sitting in the display case for far too long.

You can't pay with cash anymore, which is outrageous! And on top of that, you have to wait a really long time before anyone even gets through the drive-thru! Outrageous!

The place is actually perfectly fine, but the employees are completely awful!!! I was just there and wanted to pay with cash at the McDonald's drive-thru, but they rudely told me that it wasn't possible to pay via the app anymore. So I went in and placed my order (2 chocolate iced coffees without cream or ice cubes). The guy who took the order (probably new) didn't really know how it worked and made a small mistake, which wasn't a problem, but then three people standing around the guy and shouting at him was completely unacceptable. I'm not surprised why people keep quitting McDonald's with such unfriendly behavior!!! I'm very shocked at how new people are treated! I'm considering going to the competitor, Burger King, soon because I don't want to support such behavior.

Staff was friendly and food was ok.

Currently experiencing a hygiene problem: all the tables are dirty. There are flies everywhere in the restaurant.

We arrived around 5 p.m. and, unfortunately, found almost exclusively dirty tables. It was also very cold, so we were freezing while waiting and eating. I know it's not a five-star restaurant, but I wouldn't want to freeze while eating, even in such an atmosphere.

There's one car in front of us, and the staff can't take and prepare the order within 30 minutes.

The new burger from Mexico is way too spicy and burns your chair

10 minutes for a chicken burger and then a rude reaction from the employee.

Staff rude and too lazy to bring the food to the table, unpleasant remarks and comments towards the customers (good boy etc.)

All tables littered with crumb sauce everywhere, takes a maximum of 3 minutes to clean, lazy sacks lol

I've rarely experienced such a clean, friendly, good, and, above all, fast McDonald's. Keep it up 👍🏻

Decent prices, clean place. A great place for a quick bite to eat.

The team at this McDonald's seemed very friendly and engaging today – service was prompt and cheerful. There was plenty of seating outside, and with today's beautiful weather, it was a pleasant place to eat and relax. All in all, a positive visit.

Fast food, coffee, EWEgo charging station, and a small Ionity Laldepark right next door. Perfect for a quick charging break.

No, where I come from they still speak German, but in this store they speak English. Clean, no. I wouldn't recommend it.

Fast preparation at the drive-thru

The food itself is tasty and everything is just right, but sometimes things get mixed up, and that's not so nice. Everyone is very friendly nonetheless. Perhaps they should wipe the tables more often, though, and when people point it out, don't say, "We're very busy right now, it's not possible."

Not recommended. The only people who work here are people who were fired elsewhere for incompetence.

There's not much to say about McDonald's; everyone knows it. The parking spaces are quite small and the fries aren't cooked all the way through, but otherwise, it's a fairly modern McDonald's.

Excellent establishment; we had an excellent meal there.

May 31, 2025 Evening The lady at the drive-thru was super friendly and accommodating. The food was ready super quickly, and most importantly, it was hot, not lukewarm. The lady who brought the food to our vehicle was also extremely accommodating and friendly. I wish it were like that here in Siegen!

Very unfriendly staff. On the way to the car, an employee yelled at me, saying I rang a doorbell even though I hadn't done anything. Attempts to clarify the matter were useless, as I was the only one who would have left long ago. Then I was threatened with a ban from the premises. The employees at this branch should be trained in friendliness and customer service, and not take their bad mood out on customers. It's a shame; I'd otherwise enjoy coming here. From now on, I'd rather go somewhere else or work for the competition.

Of the McDonald's within a 20-30km radius, this is the best. I tried the others again and again and regretted them again. If there is something to complain about, let us know and a solution will be found.

Nothing to do with fast food anymore. Aggravated, stressed workers, unfriendly, and not particularly clean.

We loved coming here for breakfast because it was the only one with a real MC café. And from one day to the next without notice...breakfast was abolished. Thanks for that. -.-

The best McDonald's in the area. Come especially from Siegerland. Great attention is paid to hygiene here. Always friendly employees

The food was good, tasty and hot, unfortunately sauces were missing again. Unfortunately, this is difficult to control in the car. And then you don't have to make a special trip back. But it's always annoying.

Service was good, the ambience was well known, but what happened to the vegetarian burger? It used to be the best thing at Mc (about a year ago). No more lettuce leaves, no tomatoes, no freshness, flabby, compressed, really not nice to eat, no taste anymore. That was my last plan 🍔 at Mc.

It's just a McDonald's like any other. This also offers a McCafe and an extra family room where you can sit while the children can play. A projector shines various games onto the floor, which are a lot of fun and get the children moving. Now I want one of those too!

It's not my thing, everything is too expensive, taste- well, almost everything tastes the same

This is the first time I’ve been to a McDonald's restaurant where I was asked if I enjoyed my meal. I’ve never experienced such great service before – the staff are friendly, professional, and truly care about the customer. They deserve a high rating because everything here is really well done. This is exactly how every McDonald's restaurant should be!

We ordered breakfast to go from the store. First of all, everything took a very long time (over 10 minutes). We were the only ones in the store, plus two cars in the drive-thru. The employees' private conversations were apparently far more important than work. After almost all of the products on our order were incorrect and cold, the first thing we did was look for the customer's fault, as to why we had taken the wrong order in the first place. Next time, we'll probably have to unpack everything completely in the store to check if the contents matched the label. We quickly discovered this outside and went straight back inside to complain. Mistakes can happen, no problem. However, being called an "idiot" by a kitchen employee only made me want to demand my money back. Since criticism should always be constructive: Perhaps McDonald's offers internal training on customer communication. Perhaps they even teach you how to apologize after such an incident. This employee desperately needs such training.

The bad reviews are incomprehensible...especially the manager is always friendly and courteous. It should be clear to everyone that the delivery is checked during the drive-thru.

Unfortunately, ordering in advance via the app is completely useless. At the McDrive, they asked if I wanted to eat in or takeaway. I'm not driving through the McDrive to eat inside, after all. So, of course, the answer was takeaway. This took a full 15 minutes, and then another employee unpacked the food and placed it on a tablet. Then the other employee said that the order was for takeaway after all. So everything was packed back into bags. The food was, of course, cold. The service, unfortunately, is abysmally bad.

I don't go there very often. I always eat the same thing: a chicken burger. I really like it.

Our nearest Mäckes. It tastes as we'd expect. The seating is comfortable. The staff is friendly, though sometimes a bit stressed when it's busy 🤷🏼‍♀️ But we like to stop by or come in every now and then 😊 For my taste, the fries could be cooked better 🙃 they're often soggy. If I'm not the only one reporting this, I'd like to see a correction here 😅

Unbelievable! For a long time, everything was going well at the McDrive-thru, but today I didn't check and, whoosh, half of it wasn't there. Really disappointing. Next time, I'll go across the street to Burger King.

Everything was nice and modern, touch monitors also worked well. Food was warm and tasty. Gladly again. Tray trolleys are emptied regularly.

I was there at Mcdrive earlier and ordered €34 worth for several people. I was given a bag and I made the mistake of trusting that everything was there because I was in a hurry. I would have preferred to have looked inside. More than half were missing.

Hello friends of the sun, I thought nothing of it and drove here, then had to wait 40 minutes for my food, which had been forgotten. I'm still just hungry but also angry.

I ate there last week. Some of the people who work there are very nice and work well. But you can see how understaffed they are. The drive was absolutely overcrowded and the shop was also full. You could see how the employees were doing their best, but of course people were complaining and you quickly noticed that even the “boss” or whoever was in the shirt was simply overwhelmed. Food was good, the fries were very hot. Unfortunately my mc rib was melted by the sauce. Still, everything is good

Disaster! First we were forgotten and then we were given completely the wrong food and drinks.

Lots of busy teenagers, but the food and service are excellent. Service only needs half a word, what more could you want? 😉

We usually love this branch. But apparently there has been a change in personnel. An arrogant young lady who cashed in on us had no desire to work today. Snappy answers and when our son asked if he could have another Smurf, the child was told loudly and specifically that there was no such thing. Thanks to this unsympathetic person for exposing my child. Incidentally, I already said something about their behavior on site. Personal training is absolutely necessary here!

Incompetent employees, as always the order didn't arrive completely or things were missing! I don't understand how this really happens every time. Maybe the employees should take a German course! And what's more, the table in the children's corner wasn't clean.

Apparently they don't clean after midnight, the floor in the men's toilet was disgustingly sticky. If you're open until 2 a.m., you have to take care of the cleanliness until then.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Even though there wasn't much going on, there was hardly any clean space. The lady at the counter licked her finger for every paper she put on the tray. Unfortunately I saw that too late. In between, she “helped” herself to the products and then continued to pack up the food. Apparently she also had a cold because she kept coughing into her hand and then continued without washing or disinfecting her hands. Instead of plant nuggets, I got “normal” ones and when I asked, I was assured that they had just made a mistake with the packaging. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Full of anticipation, we picked up breakfast after more than two years. Pure disappointment. The Franzbrötchen is a flat piece of dough that isn't even cooked through. Grade 6. Ask about the wraps I wasn't sure if the things were still raw either? Had a pretty disgusting consistency. The scrambled eggs had no taste at all. All in all, it tasted totally mushy. It's a shame about the money you wasted. One thing is certain: breakfast at McDonald’s never again

So... I ordered 3x Mc Sunday and all 3 came to the table wrong. As a surprise, there was a lot of cola on the seat, it was an accident!! The lady wasn't happy, but anyone who screams in the forest also gets an echo. Bad service. How can you confuse cherry sauce with chocolate, man. The ambient lighting is missing.

On December 19th, 2023 we ordered a menu with, among other things, a Rösti. Check that everything is complete in the car and head home. At home I noticed that the Rösti was missing from my Rösti Burger. I contacted customer service. They wrote to me on December 20th, 2023 that this would be forwarded to the responsible franchisee. I've already asked again when my concern will be taken into account and absolutely nothing... However it can happen that the most important thing is missing from the burger... You should at least comment on it at some point. It's hard for me to check every time after a visit to the drive whether everything on the burgers is as it should be. It's a shame that you'll probably be forgotten as an individual customer.

Ein sehr sauberer sowie ordentlich geführter Laden. Trotz des hohen ansturms blieb das Personal professionell, füllte immer wieder das Papier auf der Toilette auf hielt alles sauber etc. Sehr Empfehlenswert.
