Apparently, it's normal there for orders to be incomplete. My sister-in-law and I picked up food one after the other, and each time a burger was missing. Very disappointing.

Ordering takes forever, then half the order is missing and the staff barely understands German, it's no fun at all 😡

Not much going on for a Saturday evening, no wonder with the waiting times.

What a joke. I ordered a big rosti, bacon ts, and some regular chicken nuggets. Not only did they give me a 9 piece mcplants nuggets, they didn't even give me the big rosti. They also falsify their service records by clearing orders before they've completed them

The food always takes forever! Plus, the orders are wrong, and a toddler could do a better job of assembling the burgers. The McDonald's in Ansbach is by far the worst McDonald's in the area. I've lost count of how many times something was wrong on the tray or missing altogether. They desperately need improvement! It's a disgrace to the McDonald's name.

Did they seriously forget the figurines with both Friends meals?! I waited forever: first the food was packed, and then after almost 10 minutes they finally decided to fill the drinks. Now the food is cold, of course. Working in a structured way seems to be a foreign concept here.

Went here for the friends menu for the collectable, nothing mentioning they were out of them. I order the meal and got some Halloween toy instead. Talked to the register after the rush of people just to be told they were out of the item. This place messes up orders constantly. Giving me regular nuggets when I order the veggie ones. Or forgetting burgers completely when your order gets too big. Highly recommend going to another establishment.

Today was a truly bad experience for us. We never would have imagined a McDonald's employee would treat us like this. We ended our friend's birthday with a lot of stress. I won't go to McDonald's again as long as that bald man works there. You have to pay and still get insulted – it's really ridiculous.

The wait for two coffees was about 30 minutes. It was simply too long. Furthermore, we weren't informed until the order was ready that the advertised cups were no longer available. You could still order them. Absolutely impossible. We won't be coming back here!

Today was my boyfriend's birthday, and we went to McDonald's in Ansbach. Unfortunately, there was a man there with a yellow T-shirt and no hair who was very rude to us. It made my girlfriend nervous. If that man stays there, we really won't be going back to McDonald's.

Tonight around midnight, I went to McDonald's Ansbach with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, we regret going there. A bald-headed employee in the dining room treated us very rudely and even threatened to throw us out if we laughed. We told the manager, but he didn't do anything. If this employee isn't fired, we – the young people from Ansbach – will never go to McDonald's Ansbach again. If the manager of McDonald's Ansbach doesn't take our opinion seriously, we – the young people from Ansbach – will no longer go there.

A €6 burger was missing, and the chicken nuggets weren't fresh. Bad 😡

Super clean and friendly staff. I can charge my electric car in the courtyard and have a cappuccino here. Perfect.

Ordering at the McDrive-Thru was easy, as I had already put together my meal using the app. However, the lady should have spoken a little louder. The meal was served quickly, and the curly fries were hot and crispy. The Burger (Hamburger Royal TS) was poorly prepared; the salad fell out of the burger, and the meat patty was only lukewarm.

By far the worst McDonald's ever! They always forget something on the McDrive order. It shouldn't be my job to make sure everything's there every time! I might as well throw the money out the window if I got it for free!

Most incompetent MC around... You waited almost 15 minutes for an order of 20 nuggets. The place was practically deserted. How long do you wait when something's happening?? 😂 Stay away from this dump!!!!

This McDonald's is a total mess!!! Unfriendly, and the service is nonexistent. Unfortunately, they have to give it one star.

We ordered for pickup using the app, but it couldn't be delivered. When we asked why, the answer was "No idea." When we got there, the order was shown as ready for pickup, but then we had to wait another 10 minutes and watch until the bag was even packed. We immediately noticed that one drink was missing and complained; we had to wait about 5 minutes. During this time, we checked the entire order and two nuggets were missing. That took another 5 minutes. When the bag was being packed, we were told that there was only one apple turnover left and whether the yuzu cheesecake was okay, which we confirmed. In the end, the package with the apple turnover also contained a yuzu turnover, two sauces and a drink were missing, and the rest was, of course, almost cold. How much can go wrong with an order? Everything tasted fine, apart from the temperature. Since we only go to McDonald's 2-3 times a year, we won't be going to Ansbach in the future.

For starters, our first time in the drive through they never told us to drive up and gave us an attitude and pointed forward. We’ve been here 4 times in the last 3 months this morning mainly for coffee with sugar and creamer seeing we have none at home and we specifically asked for EXTRA SUGAR AND CREAMER and you guessed it! We got nothing. Each time we’ve gone here we’ve had missing items and had to go back and we’ve also had issues with customer service here. And yes they spoke English. I see why this mc Donald’s has a low rating. It’s sad the ones in the USA isn’t much better but the customer service is so much better.

A lukewarm burger at best! Now people are hanging around outside the door, begging for food. It fits the image of lukewarm fries. Yes, the blonde, senior boss is only in a good mood when she feels like it, when someone in Ansbach wants to eat her old, cold burgers??? Otherwise, the burgers were actually hot today. They landed on the tray in no time. 👍

Everything was great except waiting times which sometimes lasted more than 15 minutes

We always go there, the food is usually cold, we've gotten food several times and for the third time we've gotten the completely wrong order! It's a disgrace.

Unfortunately, the burgers were pre-prepared again. Employees walked around the room with samples for customers to try, seemingly offering them "by face." The decor was new, but it took some getting used to.

Just as a McDonald's restaurant should be... Everything was fine. The staff was friendly.

I would like to express my deep disappointment with my visit to McDonald's in Ansbach today, August 23, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM. ​The quality of the food was far below the expected standard. The vegan nuggets tasted like they had been poorly stored and were dry. The fries were also all stuck together and didn't seem fresh. The watermelon drink tasted chemically and was inedible. ​The restaurant itself appeared clean, but the restrooms were not. A thick layer of dust was visible on the wall fan, which is a serious hygiene issue. ​Overall, this was a very poor experience. The combination of poor quality food and unclean restrooms made the visit very unpleasant. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve standards.

Staff are completely overwhelmed. We ordered takeout and they set our number to "ready for pickup" even though it wasn't yet... then three numbers came after us, and when we asked what was going on, we were just yelled at.

Very unfriendly staff, and you have to wait a long time for your food. We've been there twice now. Once we ate there, and we waited over 15 minutes for the food. The second time, for takeout, they even topped it: we waited 15 minutes for the food, then the computer said it was ready for pickup. A totally unfriendly woman at the counter just said, "You'll have to wait." Another 10 minutes pass... customers who arrived after me get their food. Then she brings out the cup of Coke and says it's ready. Someone like that shouldn't be working like that if they don't want to work!

We had to wait 30 minutes for our order, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Guests who arrived after us had already eaten and left while we were still waiting. In the end, we went to the counter ourselves and asked where our order was. The staff checked the system and realized they had simply forgotten our order. Afterward, it was prepared, but not brought in its entirety. We had to ask again for the drinks, sauces, and desserts. I also ordered a chocolate dessert for almost €4 – unfortunately, it wasn't tasty at all. The "chocolate layer" on top was more like a 2cm thick layer of butter than real chocolate.

12 people in the service who have to prepare 2 meals need an hour I would reconsider the staff

The wait is really long. We opted for table service. The wait from placing our order until we received our food took about 27-30 minutes. It wasn't busy. But those who aren't eating in the restaurant are served first. That's probably why the wait is so long. Then a burger was forgotten. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. Except for the forgotten burger. It's a shame. You can get better service elsewhere.

This manager thinks he's the king and he's rude! Throw him out! The order was wrong and he was very rude. After waiting 60 minutes, I asked for the Grimace hat and he said I should be happy I got my food!

The food was okay. The burger was "good" for McDonald's. The cheese was deliciously melted. Curly fries were cold. No delivery to the table at 4 a.m., even though I ordered it via the app 😂. The seats aren't the most comfortable. I ordered the Coke without ice cubes... but there were some. Restrooms are good.

Too long a wait time until you can place the order, but you get 1 star for the service

On July 18, 2025, around 7:00 PM, I went to the McDonald's drive-thru. After 25 minutes (!!), I was told in a harsh and unfriendly tone that the cash register was having problems. I should go inside and place a new order. I sent my grandson inside, and after another 25 minutes (!!), he finally came out with his food. The vehicles in front of me AND behind me got their food. I wouldn't call that fast food at all! Problems can happen, but rudeness towards customers is unjustified.

Unfortunately, the MC has by far the longest wait times for miles around. Pre-ordering for in-store pickup can often result in a wait of 45 minutes to an hour. MCDrive is hardly better. And that's even when it's not that busy. I ordered it from my car after queuing behind six cars for 30 minutes.

Didn't have any wipes and the new Borger tastes like nothing!!!!!!

Absolutely unfriendly and rude staff. After we stood in the drive-thru for 40 minutes, they told us that unfortunately we could only order in-store because the system had a glitch, but only for us. After we tried to order in-store, we were rudely told that we would have to wait an additional 60 minutes for our food. In my opinion, the employees are too lazy to do their jobs!!! Absolutely terrible place.

Delivery service arrives 5 hours late

This is how we like to eat shaker fries best, with fried hairs. It's actually unbelievable that this team is allowed to run a branch. Sauces, sides, or entire burgers are constantly missing, and after ordering, you absolutely have to check the items. Your order is shown as ready for pickup long ago, but then you have to wait another 20 minutes in line to see that the burgers have long been ready in the bag, but it takes a long time for the sides and drinks to be prepared. The totally overpriced burgers are accordingly cold. Of course, two sauces were missing again. The employees at the pickup counter also constantly seem overwhelmed, regardless of whether it's busy or not. We won't be visiting this branch again.

Very nicely renovated and the service is very good!

I love this McDonald's. Especially because it's very clean and quiet. I only come here in the mornings, but I like sitting here for an hour or so because I feel very comfortable.

Happy Meal promotions are almost never available. Fresh preparation is only partially accurate. The chicken burger wasn't fresh.

Orders are not always what you ordered. If you take something home with you or are in the drive-thru, you should check the food you received is complete and whether your special requests were fulfilled. Neither of these was often the case for me

I've never had a good Coke there. Apparently, carbonation is so expensive that the tap stays closed. Even if you return the Coke due to lack of carbonation, you get a Coke with only traces of carbonation. Folks, non-carbonated Coke is just sweet slop and tastes like a... and a... Friedrich. You should know that.

Incompetent, more incompetent, McDonald's Ansbach

Only to a limited extent, as they were very unfriendly and awkward when ordering.

We ordered plant-based nuggets, but received meat ones. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until after we'd bitten into the first one. The product was replaced, but for someone who doesn't want to eat meat, that's an absolute no-go. You'd expect the work to be done conscientiously; this simply shouldn't happen!

I was just told that my McFlurry was brownies with chocolate sauce when I tried to exchange it. I'd like to attach the picture, but it doesn't work. My McFlurry actually contains these dragon tongues instead of brownies.

Waiting times of 30-60 minutes are now normal here … nothing for the quick hunger

I had to wait 40 minutes for my food, which I find a bit cheeky, and then the burger was wrong three times. Very poorly organized. I was very disappointed by McDonald's standards.

Edit: So, things have really been going wrong lately. Every time I come, I have to wait 30-60 minutes for my order. A few times, I've even been forgotten. It really takes away all your hunger when you're sitting there like an idiot, watching people come and go after you, while you wait for your food. Yeah, it's okay. I eat there several times a month with my best friends. Only a few of the employees speak German well. But it's okay, since you order at the terminals anyway. Something's missing from about half of the orders, but since we always eat in, you can just ask and they'll replace it. Occasionally, they put things in the burger that you've opted out of (I hate pickles, for example). But that's manageable. The prices are just getting a bit cheeky. In a decade, the prices have almost doubled, while the quality of the food has remained the same. But that's not the fault of the individual branches. The restrooms could be cleaned better. They often smell strongly of urine.

We got Mc Flurry as a birthday present. It's a pleasant volume, our order was there in about 6 minutes.

Unbelievable...I actually just had to wait 21 minutes for a Filet O Fish and a cheeseburger The staff was unfriendly, barely spoke German... and apparently fellow countrymen were given preferential treatment - after I had waited for about 10 minutes, two little boys came and said "quick burger please... bus!". The two then had their burgers within a very short time. My order after 21 minutes - a completely cold cheeseburger, so wet and soggy it looked like it had been dropped in the water beforehand. Disgusting and inedible! Never again McDonald's Ansbach, that was an impertinence! 🫤

Disaster. 30 minutes wait for 2 burgers, 9 chicken nuggets and fries. The crowning glory was that a burger was still missing. The other burger and fries were cold.

It doesn't work at all! Kids wanted to go to MC for the Minecraft toys. Went to the MC with 6 kids and ordered 6X junior bags. When we arrived we discovered that there were no toys in the bags. The children go to the ticket office only to be told in a very unfriendly manner "it's not sold out"! My inquiry with a very annoyed employee was no better. This borders on fraud! Paid and no goods received, no money partially refunded, no apology. This service is simply sad!!!

We drove through the DrivIn and ordered a citizen without cheese. Food got looked in, packaging with glue without cheese is perfect inside. They drove off and gave the children their food and there was already a lot of screaming, citizens with cheese on them. Pity it's too far to turn back.

It's a normal restaurant but when you get your citizen and open the packaging you no longer have an appetite, so it always looks like they're throwing everything on the citizen and handing it over there and when you try to eat your citizen everything falls out.

The seating/lounging area smells terrible (like urine). Often very long waiting times for the food, which is already cold. Too bad

Went to the 150kW Rush charging station in McDonald’s and had a latte chai. The charging station is completely dark and my wife would have been really scared alone. Such a dark corner is completely out of the question.

Unfortunately, we have had things missing several times but were paid for. Unfortunately, we only noticed when we got home that it wasn't worth driving back. Last time there was a hair in the burger 🤮

So I'm not perfect, but today I found a fly in the portion of fries, I wanted it to be normal with the "boss" who came to me, didn't want to do or say anything big, just wanted to say it. I was laughed at and disrespected by the employees. I then asked for a name so that I would know when I was talking, but was laughed at again and then looked at/laughed at me strangely. Like I said, I just wanted to let you know. I would still give another speech. Luckily I photographed the fly.

Once and never again. The staff seemed lethargic and the food was cold. Some tables were covered in trash. Terrible. From now on we prefer to go to the burger restaurant in the city center; it is a little more expensive there, but the service and quality are far better.
