A very mean woman at the coffee stand. When asked if she speaks English, she replies that she does, but she won't because we are in Germany and German is spoken here. It feels like an order is taken, paid for and issued and only then can the next person order. The queue behind you gets longer and longer and unfortunately progress is slow.

There was another employee who was responsible for the drive in but didn't want to help with normal operations, even though there wasn't a single person in the drive in. I ordered my order through the drive in terminal. When offering chicken nuggets, I also noted “plant-based please” i.e. plant based. When we arrive at the counter, the lady with the headset and the shift manager suddenly stand in front of the window. After I greeted the ladies, I was immediately told “always problems with Turkish people” I didn't know what the ladies meant, so I asked. She continued to laugh and mentioned again, always Turkish, always Turkish. I told her I wasn't Turkish and what she meant. The lady from the headset understood, fresh please, when I said vegetable please. And then the shift manager with the white blouse stands there seriously and says, we're just freshening up for you Turkish people. It was my first time in this branch and, due to a misunderstanding on their part, I had racist remarks thrown at me. An absolute no go!!

We were also given the wrong drink and waited half an hour for that.

We've been to the MC Drive Pfungstadt several times and were actually satisfied for years. Of course there was something missing, but we noticed that straight away and still got it. Today for the 2nd time in a row we couldn't use any coupons and the points we collected didn't work. Why? It's offered, but it doesn't work. Driving out in Drive is also difficult. It's been like this for a week, they couldn't tell us anything more. The staff hardly speaks German and is of no help in such cases! 11 euros for a Mc Rip in the menu is also awesome, 2 of them and you're way above the coupon price, I think people stop here on purpose to collect money. A pity. So McDonald's will soon be history for us!

As far away from the corporate philosophy as you can get, drive in has nothing to do with said people, people prefer to chat with their compatriots rather than do their work. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, the branch manager's reaction to my complaint only confirmed the miserable impression. Instead of trying to find a satisfactory solution, she appeared annoyed and impatient. An apology? None. Instead, I was made to feel like I was a burden rather than a customer whose legitimate complaint was worth hearing. I understand that mistakes can happen, especially in a busy drive-thru. But the way a company handles these mistakes says a lot about its values ​​and customer service. In this case, the experience was consistently disappointing. It is unfortunate that a globally renowned company such as McDonald's demonstrates such poor standards in this branch, both in terms of the quality of the food and the treatment of customers.
