McDonald's in Hennef (Sieg)

The employee at the drive-thru was truly wonderful and magical. I've never been greeted so incredibly warmly, and I really hope she sees this review. I hope she never loses her smile :)

I've never experienced such a dirty McDonald's as this one. At 1 a.m. on a Friday night, full trays were stacked on tables, stools, and the carts were overflowing. The staff was completely overwhelmed with the number of customers. Sorry, but I'll never see you again.

Unbelievable! Waited in the drive for 40 minutes and the service, which is really regrettable, doesn't even manage to complete the menu after 30 minutes. Instead of gas there was water in the cup.

Went there again today. Things were going really well there. You can really feel sorry for me. What you have to hear from the so-called customers. Sad. Disrespect on the part of the customers above all... Anyone who isn't blind should see that there weren't enough staff to pay for this. That you tried to please everyone. I take my hat off to you. Bad service again. We ordered beforehand and wanted to pick up our food. Since it was very busy we had to wait, which was OK. Unfortunately the glasses were missing. So I went back in. In retrospect, it was unfortunately only when we got home that we noticed that we had two wrong burgers and that all the fries were missing...unfortunately not the first time...

Very empty at breakfast time, but we still waited a few minutes for our order. The egg wraps were an absolute disappointment, half empty... The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean.

This McDonald's branch is recommended. The tables were cleaned regularly and also the floor. The employee responsible for the service was very friendly, courteous and quick. Booking via the app worked without any problems and the food arrived promptly. We were very surprised.

Burger ice cold. Waiting time was about 10 minutes even though there was nothing going on. Service unmotivated and incomprehensible.

Staff very friendly, especially at the drive-in counter. Everything has always gone great so far. Food and ambience - it's just a McDonald's. Usual quality.

Never had fries as bad as today. Completely limp, no color and not even a bit crispy. Indoors, children eat in the play area and no one says anything. It gets worse every time.

We come here often and are very satisfied

We have been here several times in the last few years, but this time it was not recommended. We waited a really long time for the food. Admittedly there was a lot going on too. Then the large portion of fries was only half full and my burger was so poorly topped that when I opened the package, the entire contents were already lying next to the burger bun.

Burger was cold and when I brought it back and said it was cold, the stroppy and annoyed question came. How is it cold? New burger came on a tablet with used paper and it was also the wrong burger. The cleaning of the tables, chairs and benches is not taken very seriously here.

Paying with the McDonald's app doesn't work here, and the staff confirmed that there are always problems here.

Well, McDonald's is just McDonald's. What do you expect there?

When ordering via App/Drive Inn, be sure to check that everything is included. Spoiler: there is (almost) always something missing and that really annoys me about this branch!

The fries are always not cooked through and some are still cold. In 2 out of 3 dishes picked up, something was forgotten or mixed up.

We go there every now and then to see if anything has improved, it's always full but not clean🤨, food on the floor, tables not wiped, the trolleys for the full trays not taught..., some chairs are pretty worn out Food was quite good

Children's box is always not complete

Wir haben noch einmal probiert für die ganze Familie etwas online zu bestellen. Abholung vor Ort. Da beim letzten mal etwas fehlte, wollte ich vorsorglich an der Theke mal in die Tüten sehen. Es war viel los. Keiner hinter der Theke hat verstanden was ich wollte. Stattdessen böse Blicke weil ich störte. Und draußen war festzustellen, es fehlte wieder etwas. „Nur“ mein Salat. Willste Dich deshalb nochmal anstellen? Die asoziale Art, Essen zu verkaufen ….

Staff very unfriendly and very rude

So it can't be that the same McDonald's three times in a row when I order online and the order isn't ready three times when I'm there. I really ask myself why this service exists if it is not used properly in this McDonald's or cannot be used properly. So please, if you're reading this, do something because it can't be that you always come there and the food still isn't ready after half an hour

Employees can have soles on their shoes while they run! 20 minutes for 2 mc menus and 1 happy meal! Nothing has changed! Cleanliness also leaves something to be desired! Hairnets are not even worn! Long hair fits nicely into the burger! I have to add something we tried again. Strangely enough, NOTHING has changed and something is ALWAYS missing from the order! I advise you to check before you leave the store.

Absolutely disgusting store. I was ggn. 11:00 p.m. there. The entire staff went crazy and screamed wildly in the kitchen. From fecal language to joking insults to loud cries for help from the drive-in counter, it was all there. The store was dirty and the employees were visibly unkempt. I waited over 10 minutes for 2 burgers. I was neither greeted nor farewell. The burgers were dripping with sauce and difficult to eat because they fell apart. With prices that are almost at restaurant level, everything has to be right. Everyone knows that eating is dirt. Then at least the service and cleanliness should be good and the food should be almost as good. Nothing is wrong here.

Extremely busy, sometimes a 50m line of cars to find a parking space. Very loud acoustics in the restaurant, staff visibly very stressed.

The burgers are very tasty and have enough sauce. However, the fries have never seen salt and are inedible, so you couldn't eat them.

On January 11th, 2025 I placed an order at Mc Donalds in Hennef using the app. This was confirmed at 7:37 p.m. and I was shown the pickup number. After waiting about 20 minutes in the restaurant, I asked an employee how long the order would take because I had been waiting for 20 minutes. -In these 20 minutes I was able to watch the drama in the output area. Some employees were running around haphazardly and it was absolute chaos. I saw a slightly larger bag on the edge in the serving area and a cup holder with three drinks and I thought to myself, this could be my order and it will be ready soon. - As already mentioned above, I spoke to an employee and asked: how long it would take. She just said my order is next. When I was told that my order number had been at the top of the display for 15 minutes, it was not received at all. Suddenly everything happened very quickly and one employee became very hectic. As already assumed, the bag that had been at the distribution stand for 15 minutes was packed and handed over to me with the three drinks. When asked whether the food was still warm, there was no response and the employee simply left and disappeared into the back area. Since we had an appointment and were already late, I gritted my teeth and left the restaurant. On the way we noticed that a Mc Chicken Classic and a Big Mac were missing and the remaining burgers and fries were cold. We used to go to Hennef regularly and happily because everything there was very satisfactory. But now there is no visit where something is missing or the products are cold. It's a shame that the quality and service are no longer as good as they were back then...

There was nothing going on, I ordered a coffee and a Franzbrötchen and paid for it in advance. It took almost 20 minutes, even though there were at least three employees there, one was leisurely sorting pieces of cake, one was serving customers who came in after me, I was about to ask for my money back. Very annoying experience.

Latte macchiato glass only 3/4 full. Muffin bacon is also getting smaller and smaller. Torn benches and some lounge chairs with massively torn seats... you don't see something like that as an operator... it's a shame

After receiving the order, I drove onto the highway in a hurry. First the fries, just lukewarm. Then the hamburgers, same result. Apple turnover was completely missing, ordered mayonaise once and received it 4 times. Staff HARDLY know the German language. Go back??? As already described, it was on the highway. What the fuck? This store never again. I think the whole thing has a system, because that's how you improve your wages. Looking at the month, a lot comes together. All of this should be reported to the relevant authorities.

I ordered a Berger and ate it, then I got a bad stomach ache and had to go to the hospital. If your health is important, it's better not to order it there

You have to be a "friend" of McDonald's fast food. There is nothing to criticize about the quality and preparation. The form of the order on this control panel is good. Understandable, clear and quick processing. The order was also served promptly. A little more friendliness in the service wouldn't hurt the "waiter". Is a fast food restaurant with friendly service staff

So far eating and drinking is quite good and sometimes it doesn't taste like it does in other chain restaurants. Otherwise good.

The orders came out in no logical order. The service person was rude and snippy when asked for an extra bag.

If there was so little ice cream in Mcflury, MC Sunday would even be more for half.

I binged on food like I used to when I was high on cannabis

Such an unfriendly shop makes you go to the drive-in several times to pick up two orders just because you couldn't say anything at the drive-in counter, very rude and unfriendly!

The staff is very friendly and loves children, but here and there they forget to pack toys or pack food. It is also understandable that the staff is under time pressure, but it is better to take a second look.

I had to deduct the stars again after I repeatedly had too little in the bag. Do the employees then eat the things or what?? Unbelievable. Edit. 2024 new attempt. Chicken nuggets were missing again. Age..... The employees are nice but things are missing from the bag four times over a period of months...

I've been here many times over the years and in my opinion this McDonald's is an absolute no go. Even with the smallest order (2 burgers and 2 ice cream), things are forgotten, gifts for the child are not included in the Happy Meal or a Mc Flurry which now costs €3.75 contains just a tablespoon more ice cream than a Mc Sundae for now already €1.99. A quick snack on the way home is always tempting, but my personal goal is to no longer be a customer here. As a customer, check your orders and take a close look at what you get for your money!!! Today September 28th, 2024 McSunday approx. 1/3 cup for €1.99!!!

Highly recommended for a quick snack in between! The service staff is very friendly to our children and in a good mood. Unfortunately, some guests really behave like pigs, so the staff has a hard time. The employee in the drive is also very friendly!

Unfortunately, once again 2 burgers were not packed enough. These have of course been calculated. So that's why the tip is to open your bags and your eyes. Unfortunately not the first time this happened.

Well, Ronald, maybe today was the wrong day... Answered various questions at the quiz terminal at 10:18 and placed the order, then waited with number 118 so that I could pay in cash. In between, the plump black-haired woman calls out to the next guests: "You have to hurry up with your order, we're changing the menu right away!!!". At some point I was standing around alone and an employee asked me: "Do you still have to pay?" I said no, put the order slip on the counter and left the field. There is another Mac a few kilometers further. Sequel follows......

The food is delicious and the treatment is nice

If I could I would rate it zero stars. ALWAYS, really ALWAYS something is missing. After the first two times we learned and mercilessly unpacked the bag on the counter to look and I have NEVER experienced everything being in there. Today it was full, my husband was tired from work, waited 30 minutes for the food, the lady said "is everything in it" - the end of the song - 1 citizen was missing, one was packed incorrectly. I've never seen a McDonald's as bad as this one in my life. I really don't know what kind of incompetent loading this is. I don't experience anything like this anywhere else. It's just annoying 😑

Always eat vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. This is very tasty 😋 The service was very friendly. Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the ambience; more attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the seating. A cloth with a little water works wonders. And not like with us, where the mayonnaise is still on the seats and you get your clothes dirty.

Our favorite of all McDonald's branches. Nice staff, the food is warm when it is brought and there are no mistakes when ordering. The selection of food is probably like any other McDonald's.

We were guests here on Thursday and what can I say? Rarely, honestly never, have I experienced such unfriendly, incompetent and child-hostile service. I'm really at a loss for words. In the almost 15 minutes that we waited for our order, we were able to observe how a woman who wanted to have a glass warmed up for her baby was completely let down. After all, there is no microwave at McDonalds. Okay...but there's probably no electricity or hot water, so the woman could have found other help. No, they didn't feel able to help her in any way. Very sad and pathetic! When I asked if our children (2 and 4 years old) could please get a straw with our drink, we were also punished with the words: "We no longer have straws, only for milkshakes!" Ahhh ok, logically, of course you can't misuse it and make an exception. This was possible in pretty much every other McDonald's we have visited with children in recent years, except in Hennef, where it is not possible. It's a shame that a fast food restaurant that is designed for families can be so hostile to children. Unfortunately, as you can see from the other reviews, there is zero value placed on the quality of the staff. That was our last visit here. But for the future you should definitely consider training the staff here in dealing with children and families and customer contact in general! If I could, I would give it minus stars!

Depending on the shift, everything is fine, or everything just goes wrong. There's usually something missing, which isn't actually a problem, but with the Mcdrive it is because it's usually only noticeable at home. Or you get the McFlurry in half liquid without chocolate sauce and you're made to queue up and give it out like that. That would be new to me ;-) Keep your fingers crossed that you get the right shift, otherwise check and count backwards from 10, don't get upset...

Fast food works differently; thanks to the new ordering terminals, work seems to be reduced even more than before. My negative record: 25!!! Minutes from placing the order to receiving the order. And then it was neither warm nor complete. P.s. By the way, the cola I ordered had a yellowish color and tasted a lot like Fanta.

Basically something is missing. Since we always get food for several people, the bags are always full to the brim. You can't manage to clear out and check everything in the parking lot. At home it's always annoying! Last time, two sauces were missing again and the two “large” fries were a real disgrace. Only half full! Excellent friendly service at the drive in

My impression: When I arrived there were so many employees standing around just chatting with each other. Nothing against a good atmosphere at work, maybe I just came at an inopportune time. I ordered take out, when my order was ready an employee pushed two bags into my hand. The bags were squashed (balled) at the top and it didn't look appetizing. But I thought well, it has to taste good and the packaging is secondary. When I got home I opened the bags straight away and the fries that were for me were cold and soggy and unfortunately inedible. They've definitely been lying around in the store for a while. I can't say anything about the taste of the citizens, I brought them with me, but then there was still one citizen too few in the bag! That's not possible, I hope the branch takes this to heart and trains its employees. Examples of topics: Employee deployment planning, lying time, possibly food preparation time, closing/folding a paper bag, counting to 10 or changing the process, checking first and then packing up. My conclusion: I definitely won't come back a second time. I wish the branch a speedy recovery in the future.
