It's unbelievable how long you have to wait at the drive-thru! There are no waits like this anywhere else in the country! And then half the food is cold...

I can't order food through Lieferando after 6 p.m., even though yours says delivery by 10 p.m.? I was a minute late, just about to pay, and I got kicked out with an error message. What's that? Change your hours!

I have nothing against the food. Typical McDonald's... But sometimes the staff is just terrible... They didn't give me a straw with my shake. I wanted to get one myself, and then they rudely told me they had no business being behind the counter! Plus, I had to wait 25 minutes for that one shake. The wait times here are truly horrific compared to back then. Update: The McSundae is getting smaller and smaller. New employees look at it 100 times to check what they're supposed to give out... The game table with the screen hasn't worked for years. The displays on top are constantly broken, so you can't see the number... Just crap

I've been downright dissatisfied with McDonald's ever since they redesigned their "everything is made fresh" concept. The concept would be great, but unfortunately, it doesn't work at all at the McDonald's in Uelzen (which, even before the redesign, wasn't "fast" food for me because it always took so long). I arrived at the construction site, where construction hasn't been completed for two years. First, they accidentally put caramel sauce on my shake, then instead of a chocolate McFlurry, they gave me a Sunday McFlurry. The restrooms are cramped and poorly equipped, with non-working hand dryers. The staff seemed incompetent.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The Sprite tasted like water, the syrup dispenser was apparently completely empty and wasn't refilled even when I asked, so I was given the same Sprite again. The fries were lukewarm, dry, and soggy all at once; it's quite an achievement to make such bad fries... Also, the dip was missing, and I had to pay 50 cents for a new one. The store in Uelzen is truly a disaster. Everything looks dirty, as if it's never properly cleaned. Construction sites are everywhere, everything looks unfinished and chaotic. And the staff works so slowly that you feel like you're standing in line in slow motion. For fast food, this place is a joke.

The burgers are repeatedly incorrectly tossed, the employees are rude, the corners are dirty, the screens have been broken for months, and the entrance has been packed for ages. It only survives through travel to exploit even more unaware people passing through. Worst McDonald's in all of Northern Germany.

Incredibly bad and dirty McDonald's. The interior is old and broken. The ripped seat cushions were repaired with tape. The chairs are broken and dirty, too. There's dirt and dead wasps down by the windows. All but one of the displays at the checkout area is broken. The food takes a long time to arrive. I couldn't order salad anymore, there was no paper on the trays, and my Big Mac was made with buns from other burgers. The cheeseburger was soggy, like a car had driven over it. Do everyone a favor and just close the place down.

Everything was broken. The ice cream machine wasn't working. And there were no milkshakes. After waiting half an hour for our order, we asked about it. The order had been forgotten. What a fast-food restaurant! When they finally noticed, there wasn't even an apology.

I've visited a few of these fast-food restaurants, especially while traveling. But THIS was the worst restaurant I've ever seen. Some of the employees were unkempt and smelly. The restaurant was dirty, run-down, and filthy. The food was cold, the fries were way oversalted. The benches were broken. I didn't even dare use the restroom! The patio door is so dirty you can barely see through it. I won't be going back to this place!

Today we were at McDonald's in Uelzen, and when we got home we discovered that more than half of our €50 order was missing. Never again.

I haven't experienced such a crappy place in a long time. I arrive there at 10:30 p.m., only to wait 20 minutes at the cash register while it's being dismantled. This has nothing to do with fast food – the wait time is shorter in good restaurants. Shut down that garbage dump! Hygiene is out of place.

This was the worst McDonald's I've been to so far. As mentioned in other reviews, there were flies everywhere, sticking to the tables and floor. Most of the seating was taped down. The ordering terminal was broken. There were no table numbers, so you had to wait until your order number was called out. And then there was the restroom. The food was okay, though. We will definitely avoid this restaurant in the future.

You'll be ignored at the drive-thru in the morning, stared at in the store window, and simply not served after five minutes without waiting in line. If you don't feel like serving customers or working here, please just leave!

We returned from our vacation and stopped off at McDonald's in Uelzen. When we entered the branch, an extremely pungent, disgusting smell immediately hit us. As soon as we got closer to the collection area, the smell got stronger and more disgusting. There was a noticeable restlessness in the team that the customer could feel. We found this very disturbing. We ordered for three people. Among other things, we had 9 chicken nuggets and 9 Mc Plant nuggets because I am not allowed to eat meat due to an allergy. When we picked up our food, we suddenly had two things that we didn't order (a tetra pack juice and fruit). It was only when you went out that you could see where the main door was and it was reminiscent of a ruin. The floor was disgusting and the windows had been made temporary cover with wooden boards. We're never coming back here!

Despite pre-ordering via the app and the information that it would be freshly prepared when you arrived and gave the code, the fries arrived six minutes later soggy and cold, the pineapple turnover I ordered was an apple turnover instead, the burgers were simply carelessly slapped together, and the chocolate chip cookie unfortunately tasted like it was three days old. At least the drink was cold and didn't have tons of ice in it. It was worth another try, but I'll be avoiding this McDonald's in the future. The employees at the drive-thru were friendly, the food was below average. For €2 more, you can get two larger burgers and three times the amount of fries at the local restaurant, if you skip the drink and cookie, and they taste really good, too. Tested it two days later ;-)

I used to be in Uelzen quite often, including at McDonald's. It was being remodeled at the time, but since then, it's been declining. Strangely, the entrance has been closed and boarded up for years. It's certainly no longer pleasing to the eye. But since it's unrivaled near the bypass, not much will change.

But the worst part was watching an employee empty the trays, carry them on the trash can to the serving counter, and simply hand them to a colleague, who put them with the fresh ones. We went there on a weekday. We were shocked by this McDonald's - we had never seen such poor facilities before. Most of the seats were covered in tape. When ordering, there was no option for table service as there were no cards with numbers on the ordering machines. After ordering, we looked for a seat and noticed that the music was very loud, so you could hardly hear the staff calling out the numbers. It's not a place where you can eat comfortably as the music is shouting at you. Then we waited about 20 minutes until the food was ready. The food was ok, but we ate it quickly because the atmosphere was uncomfortable and we wanted to get out quickly; it would have been better to eat in the car. No straws or napkins were given; we couldn't find them either; we had to ask the staff for them. The toilets are reminiscent of a motorway service station toilet, although even those are sometimes cleaner. This was our last visit there.

Yes, the shop appears to be under renovation. But even so, there were no table numbers for takeaway, and you had to keep track of when it was your turn. Today I was really annoyed with McDonald's in Uelzen. The manager was unfriendly and didn't come forward. We ordered and the receipt didn't come out of the machine. They promised that they would give it out and we didn't get it. The tables outside were really dirty and there was rubbish everywhere. We had to ask them twice for someone to please wipe the table. The burger was burnt and the fries weren't cooked through. There was no food or drink. The coke was wrong and the iced tea tasted like water with colour.

The people who work here certainly can't help it...but this McDonald's is so dirty that you'd rather not sit anywhere. There are leftover food items everywhere, the tables and benches are dirty, the floor is sticky. The trash is piled up next to the take-out bin...let's not even mention the restrooms. The workers all seem overwhelmed by the sometimes large volume, and it takes a correspondingly long time to get your food. Despite the circumstances, I think the food is (still) quite okay. As residents of the tranquil Hanseatic city of Uelzen, we've been visiting "our" local McDonald's quite often recently. Therefore, this review isn't a snapshot in time, but rather exactly what we've been experiencing for quite some time. This McDonald's has resembled a construction site for months (it feels like years), with little work being done here and there, and then nothing happening for months. Access has long been restricted to the outside area, which severely limits accessibility. It's dirty both inside and outside, with packaging flying around, and the service carts overflowing. The tables are still covered in food leftovers from the last five visitors, and the floor is sticky. The restrooms (the men's restroom with urinal and the women's restroom, whose amenities I can't comment on) are in a deplorable state. Toilet seats are broken, dirty, and discolored, holders are lying on the floor or are missing, and there's a very unpleasant smell. On our last visits, the soap was almost always empty. The ordering process is typical of McDonald's. They usually don't have place cards anymore, as the staff already seem overwhelmed with the orders and preparation. How is it even possible to return place cards, let alone clear the trolleys or wipe down the tables? Sometimes the service staff are very unfriendly and rude when you point out incomplete or incorrect orders. When you receive your order after an endless wait (sometimes 30 minutes for two milkshakes and a McFlurry), it is often incomplete and/or cold. I don't even want to start on the apparent lack of hygiene. Basically, everything is wrong at this branch. It's one of the worst fast-food restaurants we've visited in recent years, including all the food trucks we've eaten at.

The playground is outdoors, but is marred by ashtrays that stand and smell so bad that you don't want to sit there. Indoors Flies everywhere, very loud music in the "restaurant", a strange smell from the kitchen, not deep fryers or normal Mc. Donald's smell. And the men's toilet is very small, dirty and the lock doesn't work and the door looks broken open. All in all, not a place worth recommending and doesn't follow the chain's standard.

Never seen a McDonald’s so broken

So: the restaurant can't be blamed for the lack of coffee (it can happen sometimes), but the fact that the restrooms in both the men's and women's areas were filthy and dirty, with toilet paper just lying around and no towels because the Dyson handheld dryer in the women's restroom wasn't working – the restaurant can be blamed for that, just like the overflowing trash cans on the terrace and the sticky tables! This branch really takes some getting used to. Perhaps hygiene training would be a good idea here!

Unbelievable but true, the coffee is sold out!

Today we wanted the 351 from the voucher card. It clearly states two classics to choose from. We were told several times that a fish burger was the default, and then you could choose another one. But it's not stated anywhere. The young man refused to engage in any discussion. A complete customer rip-off. We only stayed because of the grandchildren. So we'll be going back to Grill Stop in the future.

Who would have thought that two employees wouldn't be enough in a store on a Friday evening?! It's an absolute disgrace that such an extreme wait time, when such a large corporation has so few staff. It's not just an imposition on the workers but, in my opinion, also a test of patience for the customers! On both of my visits I found it a real shame that you can't turn around at the drive-thru. It's got nothing to do with fast food anymore!
