It's a bummer. They only had vegetarian food for a short while, but it quickly disappeared. The food selection is very limited, especially for vegetarians. It's a shame the chili cheese balls are gone because they were the best thing they had here. Other than that, the fries are just okay.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit. The food arrived quickly, was hot, and delicious, as you'd expect from McDonald's. The staff was also friendly and efficient. My only minor criticism: the tables could have been a bit cleaner. Upon closer inspection, our table and some of the others still looked a bit greasy. Because the company Loyal Parking (which "manages" the parking lot) shows zero leniency – even if you're a paying customer, have a receipt, your daughter is playing, and you're definitely not a non-resident. If you park for just a moment too long, hey presto: €55 "penalty" + €8 "expenses." I submitted everything – even offered to send a photo showing that I was there with my daughter. Response: Standard text, no chance, no humanity. So anyone who goes there to eat should pay more attention to their watch than to their child – otherwise, that "Happy Meal" will quickly turn into an expensive meal with a pricey ending. Just a friendly reminder.

We regularly have bad experiences here. A large latte is ordered and paid for, but only a medium is served without comment. When asked, the server explains that they're out of large cups. That alone wouldn't be the end of the world – but simply not saying it and hoping it doesn't get noticed isn't okay. It seems like deliberate deception. Unfortunately, this happens regularly at this branch. Things happen here all the time that surprise us in a negative way. Of course, you don't expect luxury from a budget burger joint, but this branch in particular unfortunately repeatedly attracts negative attention. The lack of cleanliness is also a recurring problem, and we can unfortunately confirm this.

Where has the family-friendly spirit that McDonald's once stood for gone? It used to be a place where families were welcome. I recently went to McDonald's and ordered using the mobile app and then paid cash at the checkout. After waiting four to five minutes, I spoke to an employee and asked if she could collect my money. You will receive a €40 fine after staying for just 1 hour. The time is not appropriate. When the store is full it takes 20 minutes just to order. Then the food has to be prepared. Then I'm supposed to eat the stuff in just 15 minutes and disappear straight away? Shameless, you shouldn't visit the restaurants that have this anymore.

Very large and modern McDonald’s branch in Hemer. Everything looks very new and super clean. Some sunny seating and an outdoor playground. There is a McDrive and a McCafe with good cappuccino. Very large parking lot with e-charging stations. Service was friendly and very quick. Definitely one of the much better McDonald’s branches!

If there were negative stars for the ambiance, I would have given them. I've never seen such a dirty branch. The corners under the benches have definitely never been cleaned. The floor of the women's restroom is sticky, and the corners here are also dirty. The toilet paper container is covered in dirt. The soap and disinfectant containers were empty. (It can happen). After I pointed this out to the staff, someone immediately came to investigate. Another customer simply commented that it's always like this here. I just hope the food area is cleaner.

This branch is an absolute disaster. Sat down and ordered table service in the app and paid directly via PayPal. 25 minutes later I thought to myself. Go ask if this will still happen in 2025. The shift leader explained to me that I would have had to confirm the app order with her at the checkout.
