McDonald's in Hemer

Dined with a friend for 2 hours. 2 cars. Fine for exceeding the 90-minute parking time: €63.00 per car. €126 + €40 (food) for one McDonald's. My respect. Highly recommended 😉 Better to walk.

A beautiful and modern branch that is well located in the middle of Hemer. It feels very cozy inside. The service is good and the food is very tasty. Here is a McDonalds that is not completely overcrowded. The branch is also spacious.

Our employees drove up to eat in two vehicles, waited forever to order, reordered again because the first slide wasn't great, and after 2 months of mail from the parking attendant we received another 63 per vehicle because the parking time was exceeded by 90 minutes. The only problem used to be the sometimes cold fries, so we switched to Burger King.

It's an absolute joke what's been going on here lately... Maximum parking time is only 90 minutes. Beyond that, there's a nice post office where you'll get a fine of €63. Biggest joke, honest rip-off to the power of 10. Absolutely avoid this location!

I was at McDonald's on March 14th, 2025 and ate and played with my two daughters from 4:24 p.m. to 6:27 p.m. With the restaurant cameras you can check how often we ordered different dishes, drinks and desserts. I am a regular customer, but after this incident and this unjustified fine (€63 for overstaying the parking time by 3 minutes)? I will never visit McDonald's again and prefer Burger King.

Ate like a normal customer etc. Parked for 6 minutes too long and got a €60 fine (the parking lot was completely free) I'd rather go to Burger King in Iserlohn.

I recently went to McDonald's and ordered using the mobile app and then paid cash at the checkout. After waiting four to five minutes, I spoke to an employee and asked if she could collect my money. She replied that I should order at the terminal, even though I explained to her that I had already ordered via the app and would like to pay in cash. Her reaction was stroppy. I gave her the money, but she didn't want to take it and instead looked to her employees. Finally I put the money on the screen and she told me that this doesn't work. Also, on my last visit I ordered a Cola Zero, but received a regular Coca Cola, which as a diabetic I couldn't drink, so I had to throw the drink away. Overall the experience was very disappointing and I didn't feel well treated. Also the store is very very very dirty!

Overwhelmed staff. Ban talking in the car in front of MC Drive. Since they probably can't turn off their headsets. Rude tone… Shame. Not the first unnecessary incident. Been there last time.

This is terrible. Very dirty. The tables are constantly dirty. Toilets too. I understand that the establishment does not care about these reviews. Therefore, I am writing this for the next clients who suddenly want to visit it.

I've noticed problems with cleanliness several times. There is also rubbish everywhere around the restaurant. The staff doesn't clean the area sufficiently, the parking lot by the swimming pool looks like Ronald MacDonald's garbage dump. Recently, portion sizes in all of the chain's restaurants have been shrinking while prices have doubled. But the biggest shame is the parking surveillance by a camera. You will receive a €40 fine after staying for just 1 hour. The time is not appropriate. When the store is full it takes 20 minutes just to order. Then the food has to be prepared. Then I'm supposed to eat the stuff in just 15 minutes and disappear straight away? Shameless, you shouldn't visit the restaurants that have this anymore.

Make sure you have plenty of time at the Mc Drive

Very large and modern McDonald’s branch in Hemer. Everything looks very new and super clean. Some sunny seating and an outdoor playground. There is a McDrive and a McCafe with good cappuccino. Very large parking lot with e-charging stations. Service was friendly and very quick. Definitely one of the much better McDonald’s branches!

If there were negative stars for the ambiance, I would have given them. I've never seen such a dirty branch. The corners under the benches have definitely never been cleaned. The floor of the women's restroom is sticky, and the corners here are also dirty. The toilet paper container is covered in dirt. The soap and disinfectant containers were empty. (It can happen). After I pointed this out to the staff, someone immediately came to investigate. Another customer simply commented that it's always like this here. I just hope the food area is cleaner.

Fast food takes on a whole new meaning here. Please allow plenty of time until your order will hopefully be ready at some point.

It has nothing to do with a fast restaurant...no more table service, everyone gives the impression that they are tired or don't feel like working at all. The food is awesome: “cold, somehow thrown together and the fries are a complete disaster…just bad.” Addendum: was there again a week ago ¿¿... still full of disaster, the citizens have to be choked down with a cup of cola, dry as a piece of cardboard... The store is catastrophic. Employees are very unfriendly. The store is completely not clean. Food leftovers are spread everywhere. The table is sticky and when you say something to the employees the answer comes. Take a rag in your hand. Be respectful of how you treat customers. I won't be visiting the store again

Unfortunately, when you order, no time is given for when you will receive your food. If we hadn't paid when we ordered we would definitely have left. We paid for our order at 6:34 p.m. - we received it at 7:26 p.m. Definitely the last visit.

This branch is an absolute disaster. Sat down and ordered table service in the app and paid directly via PayPal. 25 minutes later I thought to myself. Go ask if this will still happen in 2025. The shift leader explained to me that I would have had to confirm the app order with her at the checkout. I explained to her that the purpose of this app is not to have to queue at the checkout, and that paying for the order is confirmation enough. Just like in all other branches. It then took another full 25 minutes until the food was there. No excuse. Nothing. You don't even have to wait in a real restaurant that long. In addition, the toilet was an imposition. You couldn't even wash your hands properly. Instead of a soap dispenser, there is a 3 liter soap bottle that you have to turn over so that what comes out. The rest of the condition of the washrooms fit into the picture accordingly.

Hygiene in this store only seems to play a minor role. Floor in the restaurant, toilet etc. You can expect more.

Order prepared online. Unfortunately I couldn't pay in cash for 17 minutes and canceled the process. It doesn't work at all. Ignorance is not possible. If the staff is not available at the moment, you can let them know in a friendly manner.

I forgot about the food after I saw an employee come out of the next toilet and, without washing her hands, storm out and then continue distributing the food trays. If she had at least gone to the employee toilet, if there was one, at least I wouldn't have had to see it.

The staff was very unfriendly there on November 17th, 2024 around 2:45 p.m. The storage trolleys are full to the top and dirty. My daughter wanted to exchange her Happymeal toy because she got Luigi and wanted the princess and didn't even open it. The statement came back: no, we can't exchange in all branches, but that's not strange!!!! Very unfriendly. In Neheim in Menden in Iserlohn everything is so clean and friendly, you should take an example.

Dirtiest McDonald's ever on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The board was broken, it was very full, all the orders were mixed up, people who ordered later got their food sooner, no table service, tons of complaints I've never waited so long for food, 45 minutes for 2 Mc Smart menus, cold food, sticky burgers. You can feel sorry for far too few employees who were completely overwhelmed.

We had dinner here today, October 26th, 2024, around 7 p.m. I ordered 9 spicy nuggets and only got 6. I then went to the front to report the error and couldn't believe my eyes when a lady from the service threw the 6 nuggets in the trash in front of me and gave me a new box with 9 nuggets in his hand. Why can't you just put 3 nuggets on top or give them back to the customer if they're going to be thrown away anyway? I don't think food should be wasted unnecessarily. We also got the wrong drink, but didn't complain about it for fear that it would be thrown away afterwards. It was the first and last visit for us!

Downstream service very disappointing! I recently ordered from McDrive in Hemer. There were errors during on-site processing. The subsequent handling of the complaint has so far been an absolute catastrophe. After it took an unusually long time, I was asked to park next door so that the order could be brought to me. When the employee finally arrived with my order, it wasn't until we got home that we realized that the bags had been mixed up and we had received completely the wrong food. Even more annoying: After I reported the problem to McDonald's customer service, there has been no appropriate response. No excuse, no replacement.

Some of the employees are very friendly and helpful. The food was okay. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. This is the second time in 2 years that we have been there in the afternoon/evening at WE and were extremely shocked at what a terrible clientele there was in front of the entrance, in the parking lot and in the restaurant. Loading has slowed down a lot over the course of the year. Cashier fails to type in two orders correctly and cash out. Issues incorrect orders. Afterwards, the correct order was received but only according to the motto “Quickly and throw it in the bag”. If you bring it up you will be told there is nothing you can do and no money will be refunded. Pure incompetence, nothing more. In the future I would rather drive 10km further to another McDonalds with employees who know what they are doing.

I think this is the worst Mac I've ever been in. Payment at the terminal only worked on the third attempt, then I waited 15 minutes for an order to be ready, the food was all half cold (it's never super hot at McCen), the most listless staff I've ever seen and the whole store was complete dirty. A first and last visit to Hemer.

We were really not happy about the cold food, the floor stuck everywhere. The toilet was dirty and the whole toilet smelled of urine because it was everywhere on the floor. Tables sticky and walls massively covered in dirt, see photo. Felt like I was at a cheap rest stop.

Even if there is little or nothing going on, almost every order is now missing at least one thing. Especially with larger orders that you want to eat warm, checking is super annoying but now necessary. What's also annoying is that the ice cream is always made before the rest of the order is ready and then melts behind the counter.

Everything on the seating area or two corners was full of urine. Not very nice, the pigeon that almost jumped into my food from the table opposite me was extraordinary 😉

According to the receipt, instead of a shake there was a Fanta. Lt. The menu was supposed to include a shake, but we didn't get either that or Fanta, but two cokes. Nuggets were also missing.
