McDonald's in Pirna

We'd usually be satisfied, but not today. We ordered several different coffees to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately, they didn't arrive in glasses as usual, but in paper cups with wooden spoons. Since we had ordered different types of coffee, we couldn't tell them apart. It would have been okay for takeaway, but eating in, sorry, that was really not good. ☹️

Everything was great, very good Mec's. The restrooms were clean in the morning, but unfortunately there was no toilet paper left in the afternoon.

We were there today. It's a public holiday and it was really busy. There was still one table available. We ordered food and everything arrived in 3-4 minutes. Everything was hot, everyone was friendly, it was incredible how fast it was. Respect, great service! We'll definitely be back. Best regards

First time here. The staff at both the counter and the table service were very friendly. I've never been wished a nice day at Meckes before. But today was one of those days. The food arrived quickly and was freshly prepared.

Yeah, well, it's a fast-food restaurant like you see in American pop culture movies. Quick, ready-made, and in huge quantities. That's fine, and for what it's supposed to be, it's alright. But where I have to agree with many people is that the food here is a complete gamble. Wrong burgers, wrong fries, wrong sauces, ice cubes even when ordered without, etc. It's a tradition of mine to eat here at the beginning and end of each semester, and after three attempts, we have a 100% success rate of at least one item being wrong. It's quite noticeable. Aside from that, it's okay for what it's trying to be.

If you like the food there, you're in good hands. Unfortunately, the tables and floor are often dirty, the tray carts are full, and it's usually very busy and noisy.

All in all, a typical McDonald's. If you order in advance via the app, there's hardly any waiting time, and the employees are mostly very friendly. Unfortunately, you have to double-check your order, as something is often missing. They often served burgers 🍔 that were already cold. Yesterday, I was given three baked goods that were old and dry (see pictures). Since McDonald's has raised its prices quite drastically, I think it's cheeky to sell old food to a customer...

There's always an employee walking around the restaurant, keeping things tidy, which I find annoying, but maybe the restrooms should be cleaned properly. I find it very dirty, with dust and dirt everywhere. UPDATE A FEW WEEKS LATER CATASTROPHE!!!!!! NO CLEANING WAS DONE!!!! The question? Do you want to look behind the counter and into the kitchen area? It's 2:30 p.m., there are a maximum of 6 people sitting in the "restaurant," and the McDonald's group employees (counting 8 people that we could see) are standing there, talking privately and laughing. For such a LARGE COMPANY, they're a SHAME!!!!!! I'll get another coffee soon and see if they've cleaned it 🤪 The last 9 pictures are from my current visit.

Here, they actively work to counter the stereotype that McDonald's is fast food! I've rarely experienced anything as slow as this!

I eat at McDonald's quite often. Too often, to be honest. I've been to this McDonald's twice now, and both times I had digestive problems. It's okay to go there once, but twice is definitely noticeable. I advise everyone not to eat at this particular restaurant. The staff were very nice.

Hello, I don't really care for negative reviews, but in some cases, something needs to be said, so: When I entered the store, naughty children were sliding right past me. The order monitors were extremely dirty, and after I pointed this out to the employees, they insulted me. On top of that, the nuggets (only 18, actually there should have been 20) were very soggy and anything but "freshly" prepared. The only positive thing was that there were actually fresh pee mats in the squats in the men's restrooms. So, unfortunately, only one star. I hope the employees can count better on my next visit and maybe even use a cleaning rag... See you soon! ...Despite the serious shortcomings, I have to admit that the McRib I ordered there was the best of my life. Plenty of onions, super juicy meatballs, and the sauce was a dream come true. All in all, I recommend a visit!

Everything was really fresh and hot. It was delivered super quickly, and absolutely everything was there the first time. It was very well attended!

People shouldn't work there if they can't get it right. You drive there just to try these fries "around the world" and get fries without seasoning for €4!! No one sees me there anymore.

Waiting times are far too long for a medium-sized customer base, even though there are enough staff. The staff look like they're completely unhappy, but they're friendly and helpful. Generally, you have to check to make sure everything's there, because something's always missing. Milkshakes are made first, so they're already melted before they reach the table. Cleanliness is okay, but could be worse. The food is great; you can't complain.

Stale, soggy, and cold fries in the Happy Meal. After complaining, I got new ones, and at least they were a bit fresher/warmer (albeit with the counter staff's misguided eyes). Second time there, so disappointed. Restrooms were okay. I had to go to the bathroom urgently.

Well, it's an emergency solution when things really need to happen very quickly.

The Mc Drive has often been without food.

Honestly, it couldn't have been more rude! We probably didn't decide quickly enough at the McDonald's drive-thru, so the lady across the way was really annoyed. A question about the coveted rainbow glass when paying was obviously way too much. I haven't been yelled at like that in a long time! Just a quick note on the subject of rainbow glasses: How is it possible that on the evening of the launch of this promotion, you can't get one in three different stores? Over the course of the week, we tried five more stores, and today, on our way to vacation, we tried this Pirna store. Nothing. Sorry, McDonald's, you simply didn't have enough in stock! THAT really can't be right! It could have been available for at least a full day. That's shabby! I'd also like to make another criticism. You didn't do anyone any favors with the paper straws. There's hardly anything more disgusting! They're introducing such a deterioration in the name of supposed environmental protection! You separate waste anyway, don't you? So what is the problem with continuing to dispose of the plastic straw correctly along with the beverage lid?

Well, I can't help but complain. I ordered a McDonald's Crispy Chicken and was deeply disappointed. The burger bun was completely moldy. I only noticed it too late. I called the branch and the employee on the other end was uncooperative. I didn't receive any compensation and was only told that they would look at the other buns. Since the mold was black, I now have to monitor my general condition because mold is known to be bad for the human body and can cause a lot of harm. I find it incredibly irresponsible; something like this shouldn't and shouldn't happen in a bistro!

Normally like in every McDonald's, you are hungry on the road and do not want to have a long break in the bathroom, you eat in this place, probably not very healthy but safe. There were two coaches with excursions but it went smoothly anyway.

At 10 p.m. on a Friday evening, not a single table in the entire restaurant had been cleaned. Other guests were also searching for clean tables, unfortunately in vain. My suggestion to the staff was reluctantly accepted. They replied that there wasn't time for that. I disagree. I pay for my food and expect a minimum level of hygiene and cleanliness in return.

Just a disappointment for me, starving for a long time on the trip, only to find out that this is the only McDonald's that doesn’t serve any kind of gluten-free bun variations. I've never had this happen to me in Sweden, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, or Italy. Shame

Something is often forgotten when ordering!!!

Fast and friendly service, tables clean and any trash left behind is quickly removed. The food is what you would expect from McDonald's.

You will be rudely turned away if you ask for a straw!!! We're not allowed to do that - only at Shakes. I've never experienced anything like that. Instead you get a cover for a coffee. But that doesn't work at all! You're kidding us!!! That was the last time there!

Ordered Big Tasty Bacon from the menu twice, paid dearly and discovered on the way home that there was only a damn burger in the bag. If you make a complaint over the phone, you will get confused even if you speak broken German. Then you'd really rather have a bockwurst at the gas station!

Terrible branch! Orders appear to be thrown out in the kitchen. You'll only get what you want and what you paid for if you're lucky. Food cold and mixed with ingredients from other dishes.

Finally properly topped burgers again! Very nice staff, late at night and for breakfast. Everything clean and tidy.

Extremely unfriendly staff, they fail to fill up the receipts and then they make a fool of you because you forgot something about your order. The shift manager should work on his friendliness a bit. If he doesn't want the job that involves dealing with people, he should reconsider working there. He really approached us! Then they forget my nuggets too, I'm going to crash!!!!

McDonald's, the cleanliness was still acceptable as there were quite a few guests present. Not a long wait and the food is like in all other branches.

Food is of course clear, but such dirty and disgusting toilets are a big mess. In the restaurant itself it wasn't much better, there were pickles stuck to the ceiling on the back left, the side walls were also dirty and the corners/baseboards were really underground.

Very honest and decent people work here!! I dropped my phone in the toilet and I didn't find out about it until three hours later. The phone was waiting for me at the manager's and it was returned. Thank you very much and greetings to the entire MC Donald crew.

I had dinner there on April 24th, 2025 around 10:15 p.m.... I last reviewed this branch 2 years ago... I now have over 20 years of experience in gastronomy...including system gastronomy... Apart from the fact that the burgers are getting smaller and smaller...the prices are more expensive and the discount offers are more limited than they were back then... I have to say, I find it *MORE THAN DISTURBING* when the employee (responsible for drive in that evening) - during his cleaning round in the guest room - CONSCIOUSLY pushes every empty chair across the floor! ! ! This creates a “kick-out atmosphere” like no other! A BIG PRAISE IS TO BE EXPRESSED FOR THE “RELATIVELY” NEW SERVICE STAFF (YOUNG MR, BLONDE HAIR - ATTACHED TO THE ANNOUNCE THIS EVENING) HE BROUGHT WITH: *FRIENDLY WELCOME, *A SMILE ON THE LIPS & *A “GOOD APPETITE” the order to my place. He deserves 4 stars for his service! (Without this positive impression, my overall rating would certainly have remained at 1 star!!!

Food as usual at MCD... However, I wanted to eat in the store and take my drink with me. Since I ate on site, I was NOT given a lid for my drink and NOT a straw, not even a piece of cardboard 🤮 Soon no longer recommended for travelers... PS: At BURGER KING I can still get a lid and straw for my drink without any problems!!!

Another bad experience with the staff. That was probably the last time. I wanted to buy a specific figure from the Happy Meal individually (the bee from the Minecraft film), I first received the wrong box from the still quite friendly gentleman at the checkout, so far so good, I unknowingly accepted it and only unpacked it in the car. Noticing the wrong contents, I made my way back to the checkout and asked for the correct box. I was then informed that the figure was already sold out. Logically, I then wanted my money back. The seller at the checkout was not aware of whether it was even possible to return the money. He then summoned the SCHHICHTLEITER, who then pointed out to me in a specific and unfriendly way that the figure was sold out. I'll spare you the exact course of the conversation. Of course, getting money back isn't an option either, he "can't take the money out of the cash register." Understandable, it would be terrible if companies simply took back their goods, how can they... I then left the store and probably won't enter it again. Anyone who treats their customers like that probably doesn't want to have any. Of course I hope that the responsible shift manager is happy about his €3 turnover, if you want to allocate that internally - we were there on April 11th. there at 9:25 p.m. :) ...you have to know.

Unfortunately we failed to check the order on site in Pirna. At home we discovered that the 20 nuggets and all the sauces we ordered were missing. This means that 25% of our order was paid for without receiving anything in return. Memo to ourselves, check the order.

The quality of the food is somehow getting worse and worse. The fries were completely soggy, and the Big Mac looked like it had been draped into the box from two meters away.

Today I walked along the B172 past McDonald Pirna. There is a lot of packaging waste in the green areas surrounding the branch that clearly comes from McDonald. Why doesn't McDonald Pirna take care of collecting and disposing of such garbage from its apparently underexposed customers???

It was quite okay for such a food chain. What I have to give credit to is that for the first time in a long time I was able to experience McDonald's where, despite the high rush, the food came relatively quickly and nothing was forgotten. The food was okay, as is the case with a fast foot chain.

Worst McDonald's ever! Cold and tasteless food. Brown salad. Dirty bathroom! Sad and incredibly rude and obnoxious staff!

We went to McDrive because we wanted to eat at home. It went relatively quickly, but when we looked through it, we noticed that there were three children missing a menu. A new one was packed straight away, but when we got home we were still missing more. Of course we should have seen this on site. But when I order from McDrive I have to be able to rely on it and not have to unpack everything in the car where it gets cold and there is no space at all.

"Normal McDonalds" like everywhere else. Waiting times are slightly higher than at other restaurants in this chain. Cleanliness is ok, but you could be a little more demanding. You should sweep a little more often, especially in the guest rooms. What I noticed is that some burgers have been sitting for a while and are then very dry. Not the first choice for a fast food restaurant, but it's ok.

The ice cream machine was broken, it doesn't work at all. A friend of mine had the top burger bun lying loose in the bag. Shame on you, such a juice shop.

It's McDonald's... they're all uniformity same.

I've eaten at quite a few McDonald's. But I haven't experienced anything like that. The rolls were burnt, the butter was missing, the wrong shake was brought, the coffee tasted burnt (however you can manage that with these machines), the cocoa stuck to the bottom of the cup, the tea cup was dirty and the service was "highly motivated" and mushy. You can have a bad day, but I can't take it with me to work. Even years later, the employees can't manage to pack an order completely.... The citizens are simply missing and you only get a bag of fries.... Thanks for nothing....

Eating McDonalds is just good if you need something quick during your 15 minute break

Unbelievably bad service. Ordered online, paid, asked about the order on site. The employee was immediately annoyed. It wouldn't be paid for. Invoice was shown and rejected. Then I got a kebab.

Absolutely not recommended. Immediately after the issue, the window was simply closed and half of it was forgotten.

Once again something was missing... Yes, it's my own fault because I didn't check everything when I picked it up, but with 2 menus and 2 apple turnovers it can't be too much to ask for everything to be there. So always make sure you have everything that was paid for or get annoyed like in my case.

I have rarely seen a McDonald's as bad as the one in Pirna. The tiles in the restaurant are dirty, the toilets are dirty, the sink is full of dirt and hair, the wastebasket is full... I honestly thought about whether I should pick up my food or leave again...

Absolutely recommended! We came with 80 people (three school classes) and it went smoothly! Everyone was happy, all the employees pitched in and were super friendly! The cherry on the cake was that we had a birthday boy and we even got a candle for the donut and the whole McDonalds sang! Great experience! Thank you Ms. Schnitzele and team!

Unfortunately, entire burgers are often forgotten, even if you're the only one who waited 10 minutes in the McDrive. mcsunday, drinks and milkshakes are often only half full.. Stitch? Stress? In any case, neither is an excuse.

At weddings the staff is completely overwhelmed. Tables were dirty and sticky from previous guests. There was also a smell of Eckelhalter in the restaurant. Food was McDonald's as usual.

Once again the order on the mcdrive was not complete. (that's how you get money). I also discovered a dead insect in the fries… Ugh!!! We were definitely there for the last time!!!!

Count your nuggets. Bought a 9 in McDrive and discovered at home that there were only 7 (seven!) in it. mess. Children are snarky.

Solid McDonald's with small weaknesses 🍔​🍟​🥤​ The McDonald's on Dresdner Straße in Pirna delivers exactly what you expect from this fast food chain - nothing more and nothing less. The food was solid but not spectacular. Ordering at the terminal followed by table service worked smoothly and without any problems. Unfortunately the quality of the burgers left a lot to be desired. They had just a tiny dollop of sauce on them and the rolls were hard around the edges. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the restaurant and toilets was fine. When we arrived the tables were being wiped down which left a positive impression. Conclusion: Overall, the McDonald's in Pirna offers a typical McDonald's experience. If you're looking for a quick and easy meal, you'll find it here. However, there is definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to the quality of the burgers. This is my personal experience, other customers may have had different experiences. 🤷🏼‍♀️​

We went to McDonald's this evening around 6:50 p.m. As soon as we entered the branch, we noticed that there was a long line waiting for our orders. We were able to place our order at the machine and pay immediately. Due to the rush, we were prepared for a longer wait. However, the conditions we observed during our wait were extremely worrying. It appeared that each employee was assigned a specific task, but there was a distinct lack of support at the output. What was particularly noticeable was that behind the counter there was a kind of collecting basin for the finished burgers and other dishes, which was so full that the employee at the counter had to literally dig through the various orders to get the right products out. This led to further delays as the finished food had to be found before it could be put into the bags. Meanwhile, the drinks were piling up and were only slowly being served. A McFlurry, for example, stood around fully prepared for about 20 minutes before it was brought out to the table - it is questionable whether it had not already melted by then. Even a latte macchiato was hardly at the desired temperature because it also waited a long time to be served. The employee at the counter had great difficulty keeping up with the packing of the orders because she was not only responsible for packing, but also had to bring orders to the tables. Support from other stations seemed urgently needed, but this did not materialize. Another lady at the chip station preferred to continuously portion out her fries. What particularly bothered us was the cleanliness of the kitchen, which has been visible to guests since it was opened. The floor was covered in chips and salad and it seemed very greasy with staff slipping on the floor. We understand that a kitchen can be hectic, but this situation is not pleasant for guests to see. As we left the branch, we noticed that the cart for guests' trash was completely overfilled and a new place for trash had already been created on a neighboring table that resembled the Leaning Tower of Pisa. When we got home - after a drive of less than five minutes - we noticed that our burgers were no longer hot. This is extremely disappointing as we wanted to enjoy our meal at an acceptable temperature. Overall, our visit was unfortunately disappointing, as both the organization and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. In particular, the lack of assistance at the counter caused significant delays, and the result was that our burgers were already cold with such a short drive home.
