Walking on the path to the toilet was like walking on ice – only it was covered in grease. After pointing out the problem, our food was thrown into the bag, leaving the fries everywhere but out of the packaging. The men behind the counter were snide and arrogant. This was on November 1st, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. We only wanted to get two coffees and waited a total of about 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes, we asked and were told it would be ready right away. After another 5 minutes, we had to ask again, but it turned out our order had been accidentally deleted. At least we got the coffee. The restaurant was barely busy (only a few customers, and there were only a few cars in the drive-thru), but others who had ordered after us received their orders much earlier. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly either. While there was a brief apology at the end, you could hear them discussing our request afterward – that doesn't make a good impression.

The cashier said, “Two McMenus?” Els replied, “No. Two souls.” I didn’t translate. It felt right. The fries were perfectly crispy, the Coke smooth, the silence between us meaningful. Outside, a biker glided by—black leather, full moon. Els looked at me and whispered, “Harm, one day our belts will be hanging in a display case here.” Recommended for: anyone on the go, lost, or just wanting a taste of how simple life can be. It looked like there was no McDrive, but actually there was one. The staff are very nice, a young, committed team. The food was brought to the table relatively quickly. There was something missing, as is often the case, but they apologized immediately. I was very pleasant. In another branch of the chain, we waited 25 minutes for a Big Tasty Bacon. After asking three times, we were asked why we were being so annoying. I was just sorry, the item costs 10 euros and more. Why be annoying? He said something can get lost sometimes. And the other thing was played down as if you should just forget about the money and ask three times for a burger. I said thank you and left immediately. I have no understanding for such a statement. Even if you have a lot to do, you can forget a lot of things, but just not worrying about the money, that was too much for me. And today everything has calmed down a bit, which was really nice. Otherwise, as usual. There are 3-6 terminals and everything else is as usual.

Dirty restaurant. I always get the wrong things at the drive-thru. Instead of a cheeseburger, I get a McFish. Instead of a berry McPops, I get a hazelnut. Something's missing every now and then. Employees sit down at the table next to young girls and harass them (I've witnessed this twice so far). This place definitely needs updating. In conclusion, this place is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't let my children go there alone.

I'd like to share my extremely negative opinion of the service at McDonald's—and especially of Ms. Iris, the shift supervisor. My orders have been completely messed up several times. Once, instead of a drink, I received only the leftovers from the vending machine—basically water with a drop of Coke. The next few times, I was given a Coke Zero instead of a regular Coca-Cola, even though I clearly stated what I wanted. Mistakes can happen, I realize—especially when it's busy and understaffed. But I expected at least a simple "sorry." Instead, all I got was indifference and complete disrespect. Most embarrassing is that the regular employees took my complaint more seriously than the shift supervisor herself. Ms. Iris didn't even manage to say "Hello" or show any interest. She acted as if the customer was a nuisance—not the reason the restaurant even existed. What can you expect from a "manager" whose only difference from the other employees is a measly €1.49 gross supplement to her hourly wage? If this is how a shift is "managed," I'm not surprised that service and quality are completely down the drain here. Ms. Iris has clearly demonstrated that a management position guarantees neither competence nor decency. That was one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional reactions I've ever experienced at McDonald's—and I honestly wouldn't have thought a shift manager could behave worse than an overwhelmed cashier. Dear Owner, perhaps it's time to change something—other customers' opinions aren't exactly complimentary either. And as the saying goes, the fish always starts to stink from the head.

So we went downstairs and inside to check on our food. It had been sitting in the pickup area for some time and was cold. When I opened the wrap, an insect smacked at me. I was honestly shocked at how dirty this McDonald's was. Not a single free table had been wiped clean, and in some places even the benches were covered in wet stains. I didn't even want to sit down; I found the place so disgusting. The employee who brought the food came shuffling along looking bored, and bending down and picking up trash on the way back didn't seem to be part of his job. It's better to just leave everything on the floor. The absolute highlight: a huge puddle in the entrance area didn't bother anyone during our visit...does someone have to slip on it, or do they wait for the puddle to evaporate on its own? It was clear that the restrooms weren't any better either—so disgusting that I don't even want to wash my hands there. Ugh! I don't remember it like that!

Was out with the family on July 20, 2025. Ordered a cappuccino and a Happy Meal for the child. Ordered a cheeseburger in the Happy Meal. In the photo you can see the cheeseburger ingredients: schnitzel, ketchup, bun. No cheese, no pickle. The cappuccino looks different. They made it for about 2 minutes, and ours was the only order. Then they just added milk to the coffee. There was no milk foam. We asked for it to be made again, and it took them a minute to convince us that this is what a cappuccino looks like. Only after I explained to the employee what a cappuccino should look like did a second employee come and make the coffee again. However, I must note that even the newly made coffee tasted disgusting. Today's staff change was the worst and most incompetent I have ever experienced at the McDonald's chain.

Unbelievable! The employee's behavior can only be explained as pure harassment this morning, Saturday March 8, 2025, shortly after 7 a.m. at McDonald's in Kaufbeuren. Since the intercom at the McDrive obviously wasn't working, I drove up so that the order could be taken at the first counter. But the employee wasn't able to do that, she said, and was extremely rude. She then emphasized twice that it was more important to her to continue to look after and serve the two male guests who were flirting with her at the counter inside. I have never experienced such behavior in such a service area. Incredible! Just for the sake of form, I would like to mention that I asked very carefully and politely and didn't even say hello. This employee can definitely only be employed in a work area with no customer contact at all.

Now I have to leave a review, this is the fifth time that something from an order has been forgotten, 3 times when my husband got food and twice when I got something and that within a few weeks. Since I always order from Mc Drive, I assume that the staff is able to correctly carry out an order with 10 products, but after experiencing it several times I have found that it doesn't seem to be that easy. If you now think about it, people often talk about Mäcess in colloquial speech instead of always using the full real name McDonalds. MCAS sounds suspicious; Oh, what am I saying suspiciously, just like Mäcess. How can this be a cooperation between the 2 largest exporters in the United States of America. If so, what did you want to achieve with it? Was MCAS never a system to adjust the "pitch trim" but to change our minds to consume more American goods??? This is where it's getting scary for me. I've already informed the Federal Intelligence Service about my findings and I'm excited to watch RT for 24 hours over the next few days to hear independent news about it. The world needs to know.

After 3 hours and 2 calls (2nd time they simply hung up) my food arrived at home. I have never seen or heard anything like it in my life. From now on I'll give this McDonalds a wide berth. In other words, if I want to drive from Kaufbeuren to Neugablonz, I first drive up to the B12 and then to Neugablonz, just so that I don't have to see that M at the roundabout.

We ordered six chicken nuggets via the app. When we were there at 7:25 p.m. we wanted to pick her up via drive in. No one responded on the radio until 7:31 p.m. I then drove up to the window and wanted to give my code to pick up the large order of six chicken nuggets. The employee then informed me on the radio that he could not give me the six nuggets in the issuing window without me giving my code below. I should get back in line again. The line at that point stretched all the way to the entrance to the large parking lot. The order was canceled and we left without having achieved anything. I've never experienced anything like that. Fast food and customer service are definitely different. When I asked why no one said please wait for over 6 minutes, he couldn't give me an answer either. Of course, as a customer I know that there is no technical problem.

The order was placed via the digital terminal with service to the seat. We chose the table with the interaction surface. The nephew was fascinated by it, even though the question pool in the quiz was very simple with just a few questions and when repeated it showed that there is no variable question pool. The timer was too short for children who don't read quickly. The idea itself was good and shortened the waiting time nicely. The display just couldn't keep up with the inputs in terms of speed, which meant that games tended to stall. 😉 The food came quickly and was of the usual McDonalds quality. We were all fed up.

The quality and speed are right. The restaurant itself was cleaner. The McCafé is only a shadow of its former self - then you can leave it alone. What doesn't work at all is the pricing. I can't understand what justifies this high price category. It's cheaper in Munich and almost everywhere in Europe, index-oriented, too! I don't know of any McD where selected sauces end up being “forgotten” so often. When making ice cream, in 90% of cases only half the ingredients are added. When asked, it was said that “the experience was that the additives were overdosed”. In this context, I would like to point out that this can be quite problematic for a diabetic if the product does not correspond to the composition stated in the nutritional information!!!

However, do as before NEVER pay in the app! The withdrawal works, and then there is a "technical problem, contact staff". Which then explains to you that you have to pay again despite the debit being demonstrably working, because of course the transmission of the payment flow between the credit card, app and branch does not work and will never work.
