A horrible store. The display with the order numbers is completely ignored; the employees just click away the orders so they don't exceed the maximum processing time. Orders regularly take over 30 minutes and are almost guaranteed to be incomplete. It's been like this for over a year now, and the same experience every few months.

I don't understand it. Every time I place an order, the employee immediately marks the order as ready for pickup on the screen, even though the order isn't actually ready. Perhaps they're trying to stick to McDonald's time limits. And what's the problem? Some employees forget the order, and you wait 10-15 minutes before you get your food. Please stop arbitrarily marking orders as ready for pickup. That goes against the concept. Furthermore, the store often seems understaffed.

I wanted to brag to my friend at 3 a.m. on September 26, 2025, about how amazing the garlic pepper nuggets were. Then came the big disappointment: The nuggets tasted way too dry and as if they'd been sitting in old grease. The burgers were just as poorly prepared and had meager toppings. The shop was spotlessly clean (dusty as hell), and the fries were completely unacceptable. The only thing that tasted good was the Coke. I don't recommend it...

Wanted to get some ice cream in the evening, ordered it, and waited. And waited and waited. During that time, I noticed that some employees seemed really overwhelmed. Okay, I can be patient. To a certain extent. The pickup number had long since disappeared from the screen, supposedly ready for pickup. Nothing like that. After 15 minutes, I politely inquired. A nice employee replied that he'd check. He didn't leave or look around for anyone. He just carried on. He probably asked himself, and the answer was "I don't care?" – you never know. After 25 minutes, I got in line to pay and pointed out that I wanted my money back. It wasn't possible. But I did want the product. Unfortunately, the ice cream I'd ordered wasn't even there. I noticed this when I was holding the wrong one. Then the cancellation suddenly went through. But instead of giving the correct amount, they forgot half of it. I've rarely experienced anything like that. That was definitely my last time there.

It's only fast food if you have a window of at least 30 minutes between arriving and taking away the fancy food. My recommendation: Go to the nearest chip shop. It's certainly unpleasant to be stuck in the drive-thru for 30 minutes without being able to get out. This franchisee is absolutely unacceptable. The employees aren't to blame for this mess. The fish stinks from the head. That was the last time.

Anyone who lets their staff down like that on the Tuesday of the Neuss Citizens' Shooting Festival and apparently only plans for six people at a time for the late night really should be removed from the Frenchaise. Respect to the staff! They made the best of it. Unfortunately, I still didn't get my food after waiting 45 minutes, with my order number not even showing on the monitor despite asking, so I canceled. When I asked the employee to send me the manager to cancel, all I got from him was an annoyed response from the manager, telling me to wait. After another five minutes, I had to summon the manager/team leader myself to cancel my meal.

Unfortunately, one has to give one star. This restaurant actually deserves zero stars. After ordering through Lieferando and waiting for more than 90 minutes, the only question on the phone was "AND?" They kept telling us to contact Lieferando. But not only Lieferando gets the money, but also the restaurant. The lady was beyond rude and totally aggressive on the phone. Since our order "supposedly" couldn't be found in the system, we contacted Lieferando in writing. We can't expect any help from the restaurant. I will NEVER enter this business again, and your boss should consider continuing to employ such staff. I'm not surprised by the Google reviews!!!!!! A little tip: don't order through Lieferando!!! Normally, you can reliably expect a certain standard at the "Golden M." UNFORTUNATELY NOT HERE! I waited 25 minutes for a meal. The burger was cold, the fries were soggy, the packaging was underfilled, and the vanilla shake tasted of various flavors (blueberry, chocolate, etc.) instead of vanilla. The staff behind the counter isn't a team, but a chaotic bunch of people who get in each other's way and aren't organized. Some customers demanded their money back after about half an hour. Unfortunately, management didn't respond appropriately to this request, but instead started arguing...at least the outsiders had a little "entertainment" while they waited. The cleanliness in all areas (restrooms, inside, and outside) leaves a lot to be desired!!! Unfortunately, I only noticed this after ordering. Conclusion: It's better to stay well away from this place and eat somewhere else.

Update We ate here last Sunday. Unfortunately, two of the three burgers were only lukewarm, or one of them wasn't even that warm. If I pay around €6 for a burger, that's just not good. About three weeks ago, I tried the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, I had the same problem. The wrap wasn't even remotely warm. Too bad. The quality is good in my opinion, but lukewarm food is a nuisance for me. We won't be eating there again for a while. Previous review We really enjoyed the food. On rare occasions, the burger wasn't quite as warm as we'd like it to be. What's often annoying is the sheer number of customers. It's incredibly hectic. A lot of students and teenagers go here.

After a long weekend at work, my colleague and I ended up at this McDonald's at 5:00 a.m. McDonald's advertises that it's open 24/7, which means you can eat "normally" there any time. Unfortunately, we were so incredibly disappointed that I thought I had to leave this review/criticism here. My order was quite simple, a double meal, and with the points I had left, a McFlurry with Oreo and caramel. Things turned out completely differently for me. I got my beloved McFlurry with mango frozen yogurt, caramel, and Oreo. The fries were totally soggy and unsalted, and had probably been there for some time. The iced tea tasted purely of syrup. Apart from that, the employee at the counter was very rude. I spoke to him about it. He told me I couldn't expect anything, that it was 5:00 a.m. and it was just now. I didn't want to argue any further, so I just let it go. I also want to stress that the atmosphere in the store is really uninviting. There are a lot of pills left on the table that aren't cleared away. I think it's a real shame that this McDonald's isn't being looked after properly. It's in a good location, they just need to improve a few things and look for areas where quality is lacking, where staff training is lacking, and where other things are lacking. I definitely don't want my money back or anything. It's just important to me that they simply offer customers what any other McDonald's can easily do.

For example: Big Tasty Bacon with no sauce, but an absurdly large amount of salad. Total chaos On August 14, 2025, shortly after 6:00 PM, I placed my order. After 20 minutes, I realized that everyone who had ordered after me had received their order, so I asked the staff what was happening with my number. All I got in response was, "Please be patient." Total chaos, as the order display board has been broken for months. All orders that come in are printed out and stacked on top of each other, so the staff only process the new orders. After half an hour, I asked again what was happening with my order. All I got in response was, "Please be patient, I only have two hands." The staff who were there were completely overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. Everyone was yelling at each other. Many customers were angry and wanted their money back, which, of course, was refused. The explanation was, "Please be patient." After 50 minutes, I asked again if I could still get my order today. The employee asked me for my number. I gave it to him. The answer I got was: I don't have the number in the system anymore. Can I see your receipt? I told him I ordered it online and my receipt is only visible on my phone. Then he turned around and simply processed the next order. At exactly 7:00 p.m., the employee grinned at me, raised his hands, and said, "I'm off work." He turned around and left. The whole thing started again with the next employee. After about an hour and a half, I had to read my orders from my phone and read them out to the employee because they had lost my order. I have absolutely nothing against the employees, because the current heat is truly unbearable. But apparently, no supervisor cared about the chaos there. P.S. I was horrified to see that the boy standing to my left had a time of 5:14 PM on his receipt. That means he had to wait over 2 hours for his hamburger!!!!!! And this hasn't been the case at this branch since yesterday.

Absolutely not recommended. 2 Happy Meals were simply not fully packed; there was only a burger and fries, nothing else. Nuggets were made from animal products instead of plant-based. The iced matcha latte was made with cow's milk instead of oat milk. I noticed the latte in the car and had it remade immediately. The rest, however, came much later, which is very annoying. The price here is €30, which I spent, and I didn't receive the goods, and that's without the latte. Even worse than the branch in Dormagen.

Hey! I ended up here for work. I thought I'd go to the bathroom and grab a tasty burger. After I used the toilet, I gave up on the burger. I also stuck my pee in there. A bladder has quite a capacity, and I wanted to test it out. Thanks to this branch, I was able to test it out. I was there on Tuesday around 11 p.m. on my way back from Holland. First of all: I've had a lot of experiences at my local McDonald's back home, but they also have significantly more customers per employee on average. I just found it spectacular how the presumably manager simply shouted at an Uber driver, who was already desperate when I walked in, "Yeah, we only have one in the kitchen, he's just alone there." Of the three customers who were there with me, each had to go back to the counter and complain, and I really should have, too, but I didn't realize until I got home 40 kilometers away that my "The M" was simply a Big Mac in the wrong packaging and with three times as much salad and sauce. There are instructions hanging in the kitchen. I used to work at McDonald's myself. It's simply a disgrace that they apparently deliberately give out something like that incorrectly to get rid of people. In this situation, where the employees were already completely overwhelmed with one order per employee, the manager spontaneously announced that all orders should simply be marked as completed, which then meant that everyone had to somehow dig out slips of paper from the trash to keep track of what was actually still missing. I have no idea how anyone could possibly run a McDonald's franchise or work there under these circumstances. Maybe they should start practicing making scrambled eggs, coffee, and a bowl of cereal for themselves in the morning without forgetting anything and without swapping the egg for a banana or something. Absolute disaster. Edit: I was actually too lazy to take a picture, but after the mushy Big Mac got too disgusting for me, I ate half a double cheeseburger and kept thinking, why is it so sweet? It's just too much ketchup, but no, it's just that sweet chicken burger sauce on it. I can't take it anymore. Just shut up and find something else, ideally at a company where I'm not and won't be a customer.

I'm aware that McDonald's is usually busy on a Sunday around 6:00 p.m., but what we experienced yesterday was the first time I've ever experienced anything like this. After placing our order at the drive-thru (which was already a hurdle because they apparently didn't understand us properly), we went to the first counter to pay. We weren't asked for a receipt, but we didn't really think it was necessary. When we finally arrived at the second counter after a whopping 15 minutes, we were given our drinks and politely asked to wait in the large parking lot. It apparently took a little while. We did so and waited a whopping 30 minutes. We saw orders that had been placed after us being handed out. So my partner went back to the counter and asked where our order was, to which we received the dry reply that our order had been lost, what we had ordered, and whether we had the receipt. After a brief discussion about whether we wanted our food immediately or our money back, we received our order within five minutes. We checked it in the car and noticed that a burger was missing. So we went back to the counter. We got the burger, and only then did we receive a callous apology from the shift manager. If you're so overwhelmed on a day like this, the system at this place should be reconsidered. This isn't the first time things have been forgotten. Burgers are often cold, fries are soggy and unseasoned, toys are left out of the Happy Metal...we will definitely avoid this McDonald's from now on!

The worst-organized McDonald's I know. Order numbers are called out for pickup even though they haven't even started processing the order. Complete chaos at the checkout. Then the bag of hamburgers was left on the counter, and only then did they start preparing the fries, which resulted in the hamburgers being cold. While talking to other annoyed customers during the long wait, they pointed out that orders are often incomplete. And sure enough, when they checked at the counter, a Royal TS was missing. No apology.

A fast-food restaurant without any hustle and bustle. The wait time to order was 29 minutes, and from there, it was a leisurely 14 minutes to the food counter! Once you're in line, you can't go back. So, if you want to relax in 27-degree heat and have time and are feeling a little peckish, go there; the place is unbeatable.

Last time I got food from there, the so-called manager was totally rude to the customers, too incompetent to get anything done, and apparently it's more important to be on her phone than preparing orders. The woman has already been to another branch and the exact same thing happened there. They should really think about whether they should continue to let this woman work there or whether it would be better to fire her! I'd rather not give her a star at all because the service was absolutely awful.

Today was an absolute disaster. We waited 50 minutes for our order. Yes, it was packed. Friday evening. But there were no planned processes at all; everything was disorganized. Everything should run smoothly at a chain restaurant. Half the items were still wrong or forgotten when they were served... A change of operator should be implemented by the head office.

Every time I went there, the employees either forgot something or gave me the wrong citizen. Worst branch I've ever been to. They don't even have lids for the cups. We were there today, and yes, it was busy, but the following points are completely unacceptable, and I don't know them from other branches either. It's dirty and untidy. The ordering machine wasn't working, so our order was taken personally. The employee took the order incorrectly several times despite asking for corrections. Then we waited 40 minutes for our food (3mc menus and a Happy Meal). When we asked, we were told it couldn't be changed, so what should he (the employee) do now? When the burgers arrived, they were cold and the fries were soggy. The Big Tasty was the wrong one. When I pointed this out, the burger (which I touched) was taken away and, as I saw later, given to another customer. At first, I didn't think anything of it, but it makes me think about the hygiene in this store. The Big Tasty was then remade and was fine. However, a drink and the toy were still missing. I will definitely avoid this branch in the future and advise everyone to stay away from this branch and would advise the health department and the McDonald's management to take a look there.

Well, there's no point talking about the food - you either like it or you don't. But the service wasn't good... and that was at the drive-thru counter. What could you possibly do wrong? We had pre-ordered via the app, and some coupon apparently malfunctioned and caused an error. I immediately wanted to reorder using a different phone, as the error apparently couldn't be easily fixed. The employee wanted us to drive on, clear the counter, and circle again. I looked... no one behind us. I asked for a moment - it was just one menu with one coupon - so entering the order really doesn't take long. We should drive on. I showed him my phone, saying that the order had already been placed and that the loading process was just taking a moment. He got annoyed, saying we should drive on and reorder without the app. I looked behind us... no other customers anywhere. Finally, the app displayed the code, and we received our food. 🤷🏼♀️

At first glance, the McDonald's appears very modern. There were plenty of free parking spaces available. Ordering at the kiosk was also seamless. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. This wasn't exactly fast food. Furthermore, we weren't given one drink. That's unacceptable after having to wait so long. My preferred glass (red) was already sold out. Next time, I'd rather go to the McDonald's in Mönchengladbach, to be honest.

Mc Donald Moselstr. Neuss is the worst Mc. branch you can imagine. The “restaurant” is dirty and the burgers are thrown together like trash from a brown bin. The burgers are missing or they are not the right ones - seems to be the method. Fries that are soggy and cold are completely normal here. Today we drove through Mc Drive at the request of our children. No vehicle in front of us. Nothing going on. First the glasses were missing (free with the Mc menu). They were then handed over upon request. Then we were ORDERED to drive into the large parking lot. Luckily there wasn't much going on so we found space. It took 20 minutes until the bags were simply handed to us through the window without comment. We immediately checked the contents and noticed that something was missing again. The Happy Meal. Immediately afterwards I called the employees - something was missing. He then got the Happy Meal. 3 minutes later, at home - everything is cold. In the vegan Mc. Plant is a double royal cheese. It's a shame we live so close to this branch. From now on we are going to a slightly different one.

I was there today and ordered the double meal, a choice of two classics. It included two Big Macs. Unfortunately, I later discovered that the bottom bun on one of the two burgers had been forgotten, and the cheese was stuck in the wrapper. This is a more than unsatisfactory service, and I naturally expect appropriate compensation!
