A woman next to me noticed it and looked at the note, and she was 100% sure it was real. I then went to the bank, and they said the note was real. And there I was, sitting after an eight-hour drive, with nothing to eat or drink.

The night shift at the McDrive (04.08.25 - 12:30 AM) doesn't know how to say hello. She simply can't. When I ask what she said, because she immediately mentions the price while I'm greeting her, she looks at me in surprise. The mood immediately reached a tipping point. She probably never was taught how to GREET customers!!!! The student assistant who then brings the order to the car is the same. Why don't you know how to communicate with customers????? Upon entering the restaurant at around 10:07 PM, my boyfriend and I immediately noticed that it was busier than usual, but we didn't let that deter us, as we've ordered from this McDonald's several times before and received our food fairly promptly. After about 10 minutes, we noticed that the restaurant was very understaffed. There were two very elderly people in the kitchen, one who was handling the drive-thru, one who was preparing orders and serving customers, and a woman who was rarely seen. Meanwhile, more customers entered the store and ordered at the terminal, and many customers gathered at the checkout area to pay for their orders or because they were still waiting. The cash register was unmanned the entire time. After waiting another 10 minutes, we learned from the other customers that they had been waiting for a while. Some had been waiting for more than 30 minutes for smaller orders like ice cream. Several burgers from the kitchen were already lying cold in their containers, as was a finished order on the counter that hadn't been picked up due to the very long wait. Many customers became loud and aggressive, and some left the store without receiving their paid orders. After waiting for about 20 minutes, with at least seven customers ahead of us, we decided to cancel the order because it hadn't been processed yet. After asking if we could get our money back, we were given a very annoyed "No" without explanation. When we asked for a refund again, we were given an aggressive "No," even though our order hadn't been processed yet. We left the store after a few minutes along with other customers. We didn't receive any goods, nor did we receive the money for a service that wasn't provided. We have visited this restaurant several times and often turned a blind eye while our order was processed incorrectly. Either the product was wrong or parts of the order were missing. And now this impudence. We will not be visiting McDonald's again in the future and will not recommend it to anyone. [Addition: The following day, the manager came by and I explained the situation to him. He then gave me my money back.]

This is a filthy shop. Everyone is overwhelmed, no one knows who's supposed to do what, and it takes way too long (40 minutes for a plate of fries and a burger). I ate there yesterday and I wanted to leave straight away. It's just disgusting. It's warm and stuffy inside. The air conditioning doesn't work and it's hard to get any air in there. The displays on the ordering machines are greasy and blocked. Some of the tables are dirty too. There wasn't a single table that was clean and the tables outside weren't either. I decided to eat in my car. It was disgusting. McDonald's should be closed. The food, the fries weren't even cooked through, there was no salt. The hamburgers were covered in ketchup. The bread and the nuggets were wet and slimy, not crispy or cooked through at all. McDonald's needs to be reported. It's bad and doesn't meet McDonald's standards.

Unbelievable. I don't expect a great restaurant or great service. But this was the last. 2 out of 4 terminals are completely broken. Our terminal didn't save an order I made. There was an extra one for two burgers. So it was clear that I wanted it. When the order came, I was surprised. Up until that point, everything was normal. But then this condescending and rude way they dealt with us and ignored us. We wanted to reorder straight away and asked for the order to be made at short notice. This was ignored. It all doesn't sound so bad, but the way they treated us, even though we would have liked a solution, was abysmal. Fast food and quick service restaurants are all well and good, but I have never experienced that in a McDonald's or any other restaurant in Germany. The cheek!!!

Too bad, I ordered a McDouble Double Chili Cheese and got a McDouble Cheeseburger. It's definitely not the same, especially if you don't like pickles. I ordered a drink WITHOUT ice cubes, but got them with ice cubes. When I pointed it out, I was asked if I really needed it without. I find that rude! Incidentally, the waitress didn't speak a word of German, and when I asked (in German and English) for salt and pepper, they tried to hand me napkins. A colleague then intervened. Absolutely not recommended!

Something was missing from our order, which unfortunately we didn't notice until we got home. I called the store and asked what we should do. They just told me that delivery wasn't possible. No apology, no understanding that one in five children doesn't have anything to eat... simply outrageous. So I went back, and the store manager made me wait 10 minutes. Again, no apology, no understanding... super rude and arrogant. The burgers and fries were also soggy and cold. We definitely won't be coming back.

The women's restroom stank to high heaven, the sink was clogged. Subterranean. All the tablet return stations were overcrowded. In short, the restaurant was completely filthy! We're really angry. Ordered at the McDrive. First, they forgot the drink... it can happen. But what shouldn't happen: We get home and, upon unpacking, see that the Big Mac box contained a chicken burger, and the top layer was COMPLETELY empty. That couldn't even have been a coincidence; it was obvious at first glance that the bun was empty. So we were able to throw €6.99 in the trash.

The sauce was forgotten and even though I pointed out right at the checkout that my child's toy was missing, they stubbornly claimed it had already been packed - without checking. Only after I showed the contents was the missing article reluctantly added. The behavior of an older and a younger female manager was particularly noticeable. Her statement was essentially: “If you don’t like it, then go somewhere else.” It was clear that the toy had been deliberately withheld - a clear disadvantage since the previous customer had received it without any problems. My son was tired and hungry, but still in a good mood. He held the receipt in his hand and walked up to the counter with a smile to give it to the employee, thinking he was getting his food. To my horror, the staff member physically touched my son and roughly forced him outside - without any need and with complete disrespect for a small child. This behavior is unacceptable and has shocked us deeply. Several witnesses were present and were able to observe what happened. I urge you to take the incident seriously and take appropriate action. I await a statement on this incident and an official apology. I would also like to know how you deal with such situations internally.

Unfortunately, this is the most incompetent McDonald's I have ever experienced, I live nearby and have been there regularly (once a month), but since this year the staff there can't get anything wrong. Do you want 3 products? oooh that's hard for us, you want meat? They put the plant in, ordered a coke? no problem here Fanta without fizz. Of course, they also have the usual McDonald's problems like cheese or meat next to the burger or ketchup on the packaging instead of on the food. If there are more than 8 people in the restaurant, you can expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes. The terminals for ordering are regularly broken or simply tip over when ordering and almost kill you. Are you driving through McDive because you're in a hurry? After paying, they should drive 3m further so that the camara doesn't record them so as not to pull down their statistics, in itself no problem for the customer, but they then forget you there because the staff can't see you on the camara... Take the 5m time and drive directly to Neuss south to Mc Donalds!

Disaster... ordered via app with delivery to the table. Apparently the employee was untrained (and had little language skills) and was looking for a display. Bad luck, they have three-digit numbers instead of the two-digit table numbers. As a result, he couldn't find the table... that says it all about the management and staff of the store. So I waited a long time to get a completely cold meal (Big Tasty + 6 nuggets). The nuggets were missing. The staff hardly speaks any German anymore, which further exacerbates the problems. We didn't order takeaway, but rather to eat in the restaurant. It's good that when I received the tray I immediately checked the order for completeness - due to bad experiences in the past... Rightly so: they had forgotten the double cheeseburger we ordered. So go back to the counter and complain. This wasn't easy because the employee didn't speak enough German or English to understand and process my complaint. Then another came and then it went. Back to the table. During the meal we noticed that the two Royal TS were not only not hot, not just warm, but downright cold. Offering us something like that is honestly an impertinence! Complain again, communication problems again, wait another 10 minutes. Needless to say, we had already paid the requested price in full, correctly, in cash and in one sum when ordering. What would have happened if we had accepted the bag in good faith when ordering take-away and only discovered that it was damaged when we got home? The employees, who come from different nations, have more than just small communication problems with each other - as I noticed during the long waiting times due to repeated complaints. In addition, the whole shop is extremely loud with lots of mechanical beeping, humming and clicking noises and there is paper and other rubbish everywhere on the floor - a real mess! McDonalds restaurants have seen us for the last time since yesterday evening!

I also noticed that the range is very limited in contrast to other branches. Update We ate here last Sunday. Unfortunately, two of the three burgers were only lukewarm, or one of them wasn't even that warm. If I pay around €6 for a burger, that's just not good. About three weeks ago, I tried the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, I had the same problem. The wrap wasn't even remotely warm. Too bad. The quality is good in my opinion, but lukewarm food is a nuisance for me. We won't be eating there again for a while. Previous review We really enjoyed the food. On rare occasions, the burger wasn't quite as warm as we'd like it to be. What's often annoying is the sheer number of customers. It's incredibly hectic. A lot of students and teenagers go here.
