McDonald's in Amberg

I ordered a Hamburger Royal Ts and there were green tomatoes on it. The fries here are cold, limp and unsalted. Why can every other McDonald's make fries well except this one? The food gets worse from time to time. It's a shame because I used to enjoy eating here...

It's very sad when you don't speak German at the sales desk or don't even understand the word sugar for coffee. It's no fun to go there anymore.

I'm actually a Burger King fan, but because of a visit to Hagebaumarkt I went to Mäc... So the burger was like leather and dry like the sole of a shoe. The fries are no longer long and no longer crispy. Remoulade also saves a lot of money. All around the service works well. So it's better to go to Burger King, everything is fine. ☝️

The McDonalds MA was really stressed. Somehow the employee couldn't handle our order. Took a while. The person in charge noticed this relatively quickly and solved the issue perfectly. 19.1. around 8 p.m

I had dinner there last night at around 1:30am. Today I have extreme stomach pain and have already vomited twice and have diarrhea. I can't recommend it to anyone.

Once again something was forgotten at the McDrive. Maybe hire competent staff. The manager has never heard of customer service. Never again.

Lower tier McDonalds experience when compared to others in Germany. Fries are served cold, food (burgers) are somewhat soggy, and a clear lack of quality. Restaurant lacks cleanliness as well. Definitely cannot recommend dining here at all.

After waiting 20 minutes for 20 nuggets and 1 milkshake, it has nothing to do with FAST food anymore.

Were here today around 10:30 p.m. There were no clean tables and the floor under the tables was also dirty. Unfortunately the cake doesn't taste like it used to! Everything has become more expensive, the cake is smaller and worse... Really a shame.

Standing in front of the closed McDonald's today at 6:14 a.m. (December 6th, 2024) on a Friday and saw the opening hours sign. According to him, it is open from 6 a.m. Friday. It's a shame but then don't write something like that on your door. Light was already on.

What's the point of the whole modern terminal system if the issuing staff can't manage to push the numbers into the "READY FOR COLLECTION" monitor at the top? Just again: numbers are shouted in broken German, and then everyone wonders why nobody gets anything. Of course, because the person who ordered it was American. FINALLY TAKE CARE OF YOUR ORDER MONITORS, GOD.

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Completely overcrowded, everything dirty. The order terminals all only work sporadically. The employees are completely overwhelmed and the orders are only complete if you're lucky.

McDonald's is already very well known. And basically you know what to expect. But what I've had to experience several times in Amberg is the last straw. I've been there three times in the evening on Fridays around 10 in the last 4-6 weeks :30 at the mc drive. The first time a nine nugget was missing and at home I was disillusioned that not everyone was full but €5.99 had disappeared. When Second time I should have known better. But the hunger was stronger after driving many hundreds of kilometers. First there was a language barrier with an employee of this company. After this hurdle was overcome. The EC card reader didn't work and I offered to come along to pay in cash. The overwhelmed employee nervously called a colleague and they both fiddled around and said try it now. It still didn't work and after 10 minutes my hard-earned cash was accepted (yay). When I finally got the food, I was completely annoyed I'm glad that I finally got away from it. At home there was the next "highlight". The cheeseburger was missing and who's surprised? This time there was another one that couldn't get enough at home. A few weeks later and I was out and about a lot again and went back there in the evening. Mentioned this in advance every time something is missing and it's annoying that you don't get what you ordered AND paid for. I asked you to pack everything in, even in times when you have to tighten your belt :-) No matter what, I looked nervously at home and was surprised to see that almost everything was in there this time. The only thing missing was the mayo, but we were able to cope with that. Conclusion: Maybe Burger King and their expired burgers and sauces as shown in Walraff on rtl deserve a second chance. At least you still get something to eat. A mouse in a burger is better than no burger at all :-)

The atmosphere inside the restaurant on weekends is generally family-friendly. Parents and grandparents often come with their children and grandchildren to spend a good time with each other. There are some entertainment activities for children, such as games and gifts, provided with meals. Car parking is widely available.

The food might be quite good, but the last three times the food was always cold, even though we ate in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that's not so great.

If the employees weren't overwhelmed with a large order, the guests would also get their fries. 2 times reefs & 2 times normal fries were "forgotten". Veggi nuggets completely hard, as if they had been fried twice. Ordered food for just under 60 euros and only received food worth 40 euros. From now on, all orders will be checked before acceptance. Important question: Did the employees eat our fries themselves or give them to the next guest?

Restaurant is getting dirtier and dirtier. Tables are hardly cleaned and the floor just sticks. Food is ok. Staff (especially the older lady with a short haircut and glasses) is very unfriendly. Better treatment of customers and staff would be nice.

This branch used to be the best I've known for over 20 years. For about a year the quality had dropped dramatically. There is no longer table service in the evenings and cards are no longer hung on the ordering terminals. The burgers are now carelessly slapped together, strangely enough you can taste it. The patties are sometimes cold or lukewarm with a bit of luck. We were always happy when we were out and about in Amberg; it was a must for us to rest at Mäkki and eat the delicious burgers. But as I said, that was once.

Lattice potatoes were nice big pieces. But the Mc Rib wasn't cooked properly.

I had a vanilla ice cream sundae with cherry sauce. The white stuff was watery and barely tasted like vanilla. I was disappointed. The tables and couch-like seating and also under the table were covered in cola.

Hello, I actually never write reviews, but this unpleasant experience on April 12th, 2024 at around 10 p.m. IN AMBERG would give me sleepless nights, so I'm sharing it with you to avoid such further incidents. I just wanted to get some ice cream at the drive-thru. Unfortunately, I was immediately yelled at just for saying hello and the waitress (woman) was already yelling at me to wait. How am I supposed to know if no one answers for 5 minutes? I just said hello. Then I explained my order to her CLEARLY and she yelled at me again because she didn't understand. When I got a little louder so she could finally hear it, she snapped at me. When paying, she behaved disrespectfully and yelled at me again to not talk so loudly because she already understood, even though she gave me the wrong order 3 times. I had to listen to her "lesson" for five minutes and couldn't get my food. I ask you to contact this woman and advise her to maintain better contact with customers. Thank you.

4/12/24, 9:30 p.m.: Ladies and Gentlemen It was a quiet night in Amberg, we were hungry and just wanted to get a snack. We decided to do the drive in. Here we were treated extremely rudely. We were so shocked that we couldn't even finish our order. Tears. Grief. Please consult your specialist (see time above). We are now driving to Burgerking to continue our order as we don't dare go through the drive-thru again. Greetings

alles ist eigentlich toll doch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unhöflich wurde angeschrien weil ich mein geld zusammen gefaltet hab weil ich nervös bin an der Kasse zustehen, die Mitarbeiter sollen froh sein das die überhaupt Geld bekommen!

The food there is really great but unfortunately I met an old school friend there to whom I told him 156€. He pulled me into the toilet and threatened me with a butterfly knife. Since this butterfly was made of plastic, I broke it and gave him €10 so he could buy a new one. But he doesn't get the 156€ because he didn't want to give me any of his chips at school (Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium Karlsruhe), which really upsets me 😡.

Well organized store with friendly service staff. The menu order was complete, brought to the table and tasted good.

Fries are good when freshly made. I didn't have a good experience with burgers. Employees are often overwhelmed with complaints.

This McDonald's is one of the worst I've ever been to. Starting with the staff. Almost all of the employees are unfriendly. There are a few exceptions. But not many. The waiting time for food is usually very long. Things have gotten better with the kiosks, but still bad. The food is usually not fresh (I notice especially the nuggets and fries). Often something is missing from the order or something is wrong (e.g. burger ordered without sauce but comes with sauce) Tables, floors etc are often dirty. This could be cleaned more often! I therefore give this McDonald’s the following rating: 2 out of 5 stars!

I had a Röstiburger, unfortunately it wasn't properly seared, not crispy, very soft and almost raw. The rest was as usual. However, I would also like to pass on a suggestion regarding the toilet facilities. The rather tall trash cans may need to be replaced or placed on the side of the toilet roll holder. Because when you sit, you have the 20 cm wide trash can hanging directly behind your back. If you want to turn away a little, you hang on the 15 cm wide toilet roll holder. The toilet is 70 cm wide... there isn't much space left to align yourself properly...

Unfortunately the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Otherwise it's like any other Mc. Loud and hectic. Unfortunately, the order is rarely correct.

Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig, es gibt oft keinen einzigen Tisch/Sitzgelegenheit der/die nicht verschmiert oder verschmutzt ist. Oft klebt Mayonnaise Tage lang an irgendwelchen Scheiben oder Tischen bis es mal geputzt wird. Der Boden glänzt förmlich von dem ganzen Frittieröl, das von der Küche aus im ganzen Restaurant mit den Schuhen verteilt wird. Hinzu kommen genervte Mitarbeiter

Wartezeiten sind relativ lang für Drive In, aber noch OK. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlicher als noch vor ein paar Monaten.

Der schlechteste Mc den ich kenne. Essen kalt und immer fehlt was oder es ist was falsches in der Tüte. McDrive ist da wie Glücksspiel. Dieses mal fehlen ein BigMc und ein Double Chili Cheese Burger. Und die Pommes waren nicht ganz durch. Zusammen mit den letzten Fehlern summiert sich das ganze schon auf ca. 50€ die wir zum Fenster rausgeworfen haben. Und das obwohl sich McDonalds eh schon bei jeder Bestellung to Go die Hände reibt weil Sie mehr Gewinn machen wegen der Steuer. (vor Ort 19%; toGo 7%) Ich weiß ma sollte die Tüten am McDrive kontrollieren, man will aber auch nicht im Weg stehen in der schmalen Gasse. Deshalb vertraut man dem Service. Doch hier wird das Vertrauen mit Füßen getreten. Und hinterher wenn man zu Hause auspackt braucht man sich auch nicht mehr beschweren. Dies würde nur zu Ausreden der Verantwortlichen führen. Deshalb mein Fazit: Dieser Mc sieht mich erst mal nicht mehr. Danke für den zuverlässigen Service, also für NICHTS.

Mc Donalds hat dazugelernt. Mittlerweile kann man mit der App das Essen an einen Tisch bestellen. Leider ist dies der einzige MC Donalds im Umkreis, so dass viele Jugendliche im Reastaurant sitzen.

Wir wollten kurz einen Kaffee trinken und waren sehr überrascht. Das Personal war nett und es war angenehm sauber.

Ok - ein normaler McDonald's . Aber es gibt eine CSS 350kW Schnelllade Station - für 2 Autos. Sehr gut!

Obwohl der Mecces sehr gut besucht war (eigentlich ist der Parkplatz in Amberg immer voll belegt 😅) ging es sehr schnell und das Chicken Nuggets Menü war schön heiß und frisch. Und die Toiletten waren auch ok.

Wenn man Kinder hat, dann landet man leider immer wieder in diesen FastFood-Restaurants. Für die Kleinen ist es immer ein Highlight. Leider ist das nicht so schön, wenn die Freundlichkeit mangelt. Wenn das Esse dann dazu nicht frisch ist und nur lauwarm, dann ist das besondere Erlebnis für die Kids nicht da. Schade, wenn die Reklamation auf taube Ohren stößt und man nix ändert.

Habe über die McDonalds App bestellt und bezahlt, funktioniert in Amberg perfekt. Wartezeit deutlich unter 10 Minuten.

Dieser MacDonalds wird immer ekeliger. Schmutzig, versifft, völlig unfähiges Personal. Nicht in der Lage einen bestellten Artikel richtig auszugeben. Ein einfaches Eis drei mal falsch an den Tisch gebracht. Pommes Eiskalt. Diesem Besitzer gehört die Lizenz entzogen.
