McDonald's in Plauen

Ordered lunch on-site and ate it there... Service was okay, the only downside was that the food was lukewarm... apparently they picked a toilet... unpleasant smell but it was clean... otherwise, well, I'd recommend it.

Unfortunately, several parts of the order were missing.

We were at McDonald's in Elbepark around 8:30 pm today. We witnessed a woman with a child insisting on ordering at the register. The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were plenty of staff. There was no way she could simply order at the register. Just sad and unprofessional. 1 out of 5.

Terrible service. I specifically ordered the cappuccino and tea in a cup from McCafé. They initially used cups from the regular automatic machine. When I pointed out that I wanted my McCafé and a cup, they then, quite visibly, poured the contents of the cups into mugs at the back. Naturally, the tea was cold and the cappuccino was cold and bad. This borders on fraud.

Today was the first time in a long time that we went to McDonald's. We ordered takeout. A burger was completely forgotten when we ordered. So we went back in, got a burger, and as an apology, received a voucher for ice cream. Only to find out at home that my Friends meal was missing fries. I won't be going back there for a while, what a mess.

Very poor service. I had a question about vouchers at the checkout. Unfortunately, the employee didn't understand German very well. He made malicious gestures. When I asked to speak to the store manager, I was told there was no time... very unfriendly employees whose stares could kill. I always enjoyed coming here with my children, but I'm now avoiding this McDonald's. Something's always missing or the burgers are cold. Half the staff there are overwhelmed, and you don't get a smile when you say hello. It's a shame, but there are far better McDonald's branches.

Not a good idea to go there for lunch on Sundays. Expect a very long wait. But across the street from the Klostermarkt, they offer all the services offered by McDonald's.de, including table service. The food and drinks met McDonald's.de standards. During the week, I'd even give it 5 stars, as everything runs faster.

I was there today. I was standing at the McCafe counter and was neither greeted nor, in my opinion, even looked at by two service employees. I left after seven minutes. It's a shame, but in my opinion, the service has also changed since the last renovation.

I ordered two hamburgers to go. When I got home, I realized that only one made it into my bag. So, this is a really great place for anyone who's happy to pay more for less.

OK for a quick bite, but if you're looking for high-quality food (rich in vitamins), a good atmosphere, friendly, helpful service, cleanliness, etc., you'll be spoiled for choice.

The Matcha tastes absolutely shit and 4.80€ is way too expensive. I will never buy a Matcha latte again.

The staff are mostly friendly. Several times, I was missing a special request. But this time, the entire patty was missing from my Royal TS.

Not only was McDonald's renovated, and the results are impressive, but the food was also above average. Every branch has its burgers, some better than others, some worse. The same goes for the fries, etc. So far, everything was great. A big compliment goes to the employee who really followed up. Whether it was table service, keeping things tidy, keeping tables clean, or even clearing, this friendly older gentleman was always there. I've never experienced anything like it before. Highly recommended.

My regular restaurant for breakfast almost every weekday. It's the perfect way to start the day.

The amount of ice cream in McFlurry's sundaes is apparently determined by face. Ours was barely half full. The next table, on the other hand, had almost full sundaes.

I generally go to the McDrive to pick up my order and enjoy it at home. This is the third time my order has been incomplete...but let's start again. The first time, the McRib was missing, the second time, the Filet-O-Fish was missing, and today not only the McRib but also the Happy Meal was incomplete, including the fries. Honestly, who checks the beautifully folded bags at the counter? The order-taking was borderline poor, not very customer-oriented, the service at the counter was very friendly, but unfortunately, the result, what the back office put together, was very disappointing, due to the missing burger and fries. Or is there a method behind this? Very, very disappointing....

If it were possible – stars!!! There's always something missing, as if they couldn't count to three. It's unbearable to have to go back every time because they forgot to pack their food!!! Probably the worst branch in all of Germany.

Unfortunately, since the renovation, it has a train station feel, and the lack of intermediate doors makes it very cold and drafty. On the plus side, however, is the friendly staff.

Fries a bit thin. New ambience, the layout and armchairs are good. But what did you think about the colors? Brown and gray... it couldn't be more dreary.

Tried the new service with parking number twice. Waited twice for over 10 minutes and then went in to ask if you had been forgotten. Unfortunately, this service doesn't work at all. It's best to take the signs down again. This will save you trouble.

The coffee and fresh food are delicious.

Once again, half of the order was not packed (when eating take-away), unfortunately it was only noticed at home. You should really check in the store whether everything you paid for has been packed. The ambience is horrible as a family. Whoever came up with this didn't want any more children in the store or wanted quick turnaround times for more sales. Come, eat, go. All tablets were removed and no alternative was created for children. 3 entrances (!) that constantly open and provide the necessary cold in winter. Of course there was no interest in the cozy cafe lounge - it would probably have added too much ambience. Unfortunately, you won't notice it in terms of sales, because who else goes to the branch in the city voluntarily.

We were with 3 children and were very satisfied. It was also possible to order verbally, which is quicker than at these machines.

Overall, a pretty standard fast food restaurant. Employees are friendly but seemingly incapable of completely packing the orders. At later times, for example 10 p.m., everyone just walks around in a bad mood. As already mentioned, orders are constantly incomplete, fries are soggy and make you want to vomit, citizens are thrown into the packaging, and on top of that you have to add about 15 euros per person. It's sad that fresh and delicious dishes are now cheaper than this fast food mess. Oh, almost forgot (eating in a restaurant), please put a straw or a coffee cup lid with a drink, how are you supposed to drink the coffee when you always have two kilos of ice cubes floating in front of your snout. Despite all the good things, ordering without spending any sauce is cheeky, Unfortunately it doesn't just happen once. There are missing ingredients on some burgers, as well as no carbonation in every drink, unfortunately not a single case, which is a shame.

I'm not a fan of MC Donald, but the team, the boss and the restaurant are great. We'll be back.

Update: Visit December 13th, 2024: one complete catastrophe after the renovation! There's really nothing more to say. Atmosphere sterile like an operating room... Seats reduced in size with kindergarten-sized furniture, an ordering system installed in the middle of the restaurant with the effect that the ordering guests are constantly staring at your tablet and you feel like you're sitting on the presentation plate, totally drafty & cold because the automatic door constantly opens when people are standing 2 meters in front of it and the 2 doors were built opposite each other. Supposedly the kitchen has been enlarged and optimized ~ what use is it if the staff remains completely overloaded, unfriendly and especially rude at the serving point as soon as there are more than 3 guests present like on December 13th. around 10 p.m.!? Waiting times longer than 25 minutes for 2 McMenues... Friends, service doesn't work like that! The absolute blast: Guests who sit at the row of windows at the entrance in the evening need a candle while eating because the lights were simply forgotten in these places and you sit in full shade. Two stars because I ordered a happy meal, but my toys and fruit nonsense were missing. One star for food because both items were missing and the fries and curry fries tasted old (or like they had been reheated). This McDonald's is always very clean, the employees are friendly and the food is usually always fresh and hot due to the high traffic. But it's quite crowded and the wait is often quite long during peak times. Best regards

Many rate their stay here in comparison to proper restaurants. I think that's pretty unfair, so I tend to compare fast food chains with other fast food chains. The food is as expected, the burgers are very mediocre and the salads are terrible. The employees are mostly very friendly and helpful. For a fast food restaurant, the ambience is more than satisfactory, and the connection to the city and highway at the same time as well as a shopping center on the same site are also very practical. All in all, a typical McDonald's but with a very clean and well-located atmosphere.

Order 157 on August 14th thanks for waiting 30 minutes, the drinks had no ice and were warm, the milkshakes didn't deserve the name, they were warmer than the peach dumpling. I only received the nuggets upon request. Nobody was interested in my complaint on site. Demanding money for this nonsense borders on fraud.

Today, August 14th, 2024, I was at the MC after work. It was an experience...I placed my order at the drive-thru and, as always, paid at the next window. At the next window the employee accused me....I hadn't paid and I had to turn around and pay again. Only the shift manager could clarify the situation, but he also didn't apologize for his colleague's audacity and behavior. I also ordered mayonnaise with the fries, which was almost always missing. Dirty restaurant and food squashed together

Small, well-kept restaurant, friendly service. However, our ice cream had melted.

It's just McDonald's. The restaurant looks modern, but the ordering boards could be adapted accordingly. The back of the order board is too close to a wall so you feel "squeezed in".

Every cheap pizza place in Plauen handles large orders more accurately than this burger place. We have ordered here many times as a family of five. Something is always missing. Unfortunately, you cannot give out negative points. Today's order was missing the lattice potatoes and one burger even had a burger bun missing. This is called system catering. No trace of system or coordination. Just miserable!!!

You should probably avoid eating there at breakfast time on a weekend or public holiday. 20 min waiting time for a wrap and 2x mini pancakes. While everyone who ordered after me had already received their stuff, I waited. Then, after ordering, I wanted to order two coffees directly from the Mc Donalds stand (after all, that was how Mc Donalds planned it) I was really looking forward to fresh coffee from the portafilter. Well, there was nothing. The employee who always scurried over to pick up croissant dishes, etc. to get the coffee pointed out to me that no more orders were being received there and that I should get the coffee either at the terminal or at the checkout. I specifically asked if I could get a coffee from the Mc Coffee stand because that was what I wanted. He said “yes of course” Well, what can I say coffee came promptly from around the corner at the drive-thru. So it was clear that the coffee came from the normal standard machine. The Mc Coffee only serves as decoration. This is a shame and so we don't have breakfast at McDonald's. Went to McDonald's for breakfast for the first time since the Mc Toasties were abolished. It was definitely the last time.

Super nice staff and always in a good mood. Toilets are clean and so are the tables throughout the restaurant. I can only recommend.
