McDonald's in Hameln

The burger was disgusting; I vomited in the parking lot afterward. Not recommended!

I've been to many McDonald's branches for work. Unfortunately, Hameln is the worst I've ever seen. Every visit brings unpleasant situations. Burgers are cold, or dripping with ketchup. I order a grande cappuccino in a cup, but get a small coffee to go. The fries are like they came from a shredder. The staff is friendly and polite, but it's always annoying. There's always something wrong.

The young woman from the service was very friendly, helpful and helped us a lot with the selection

McDonald's Hameln – I don't know anyone there, just to let you know in advance... For me, it's the best McDonald's – literally in the world. Everything is ALWAYS fresh. They always respond to requests and requests in a very friendly manner. The store is generally very clean (apart from the fact that the restrooms sometimes smell terribly), and they are also clean. I live in Springe – when we go, we go to Hameln. Holtensen, for example, is so awful in comparison! Hameln is always a satisfying visit!! Thank you, McDonald's Hameln, for doing a really good job!

I can't recommend MC Drive. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The fries were lukewarm and sometimes completely soggy. I had a side of BBQ sauce, which had curry sauce in it. The Chicken MC Nuggets were okay. The water was nicely chilled, and so were the squeezable snacks.

When there is a fire and nothing else is there

McDonald's is actually always clean. It's very easy to have food brought to your table. Unfortunately, I don't like most of the food because the burgers are often very dry. There's always very little sauce on them, and the meat is cooked dry. Ultimately, though, that's not the fault of McDonald's Hameln, but rather the fault of the chain in general.

We ordered food from McDonald's today via Lieferando. That was 2 hours ago! We last called 40 minutes ago and asked where our food was. Now we're still waiting in vain for our food. It's outrageous to list yourself as a food delivery driver on Lieferando when you can't meet the delivery terms. By the way, the only response on the phone was that they were busy and the driver was probably already on his way with the food. I've never experienced such poor service! You've lost us as customers!

I ordered food through Lieferando and called after over an hour to find out what was happening with the order. The employee was friendly and apologetic, saying they had over 30 orders and that was why it was taking so long, but that the food would arrive soon. It arrived 10 minutes later. Crushed, undercooked fries, and everything cold... Impossible for that kind of money!!!

Unfortunately, we had a lot of bad luck yesterday. Among other things, we ordered two Sakura Cokes with cherry blossom flavor and the new cheeseburger-flavored fries (I can't remember the exact name right now). Our entire order was for takeout. After a 25-minute drive, the food was thankfully still warm, but we discovered we got regular Coke and regular fries. Very annoying, since we paid for something else.

ATTENTION: SLOW FOOD You wait forever for your food and have to watch as your colleagues behind the counter prefer to chill, chat, and flirt with women! The manager should reconsider the character traits his employees should bring with them in the future.

It's just like all McDonald's branches. However, there's a risk of accidents due to a broken stool that isn't locked.

Several delivery drivers entered the counter area without washing their hands. I observed one of them wiping his sweaty head, then grabbing the delivery bags and handing them directly to customers. Before doing so, several employees shook hands – without any hygiene measures in between. Particularly striking was one employee who appeared to have a managerial role but primarily cared for younger colleagues. There was no clear structure or leadership. Everything seemed more like an uncoordinated team without leadership. Although the store was quiet, bags had to be opened and checked several times before the order was complete. The entire process seemed inefficient, uncoordinated, and unprofessional to me. Overall, I had the feeling that this store wasn't about customer service, quality, or order, but rather just about having someone behind the counter selling goods – how and under what conditions seems irrelevant. I hope you take this feedback seriously and carefully review the work and hygiene standards in this store.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. Next time, we'll be back.

Very disappointing... I will definitely not be going to McDonald's in Hameln again. I've pre-ordered three times via the app and picked up at the McDrive, and three times I received incorrect orders. Once was okay, it can happen, but three times?? In my last order, I ordered a double Big Mac, but what was on it? Just meat... no salad, sauce, pickles, etc. Everything was missing from this burger... should I open and check every single burger now?? Sorry... the current staff should be replaced quickly; they can't seem to get it right. It can't be that difficult to read the order correctly.

You ordered there and paid with PayPal and then it started. We waited for over two hours and then didn't call anything, then we went there and wanted our money back but no, it's not unbelievable. This is the last shop. There is no service there. We have now informed PayPal about the situation. You shouldn't order there. Not recommended. You have to give one star here. In my opinion there shouldn't be a star.

I'm amazed at how many negative reviews this McDonald's has received. I'm sitting here right now and I'm pretty happy with it. The food is warm and tastes good, as is typical for Mcces. The waiting time was also very short and the food was brought to the table by a friendly waitress. In general, everything was fine when I visited, although some tables could have been cleaned more regularly. As I said, my rating refers to the one visit. If it was like it was always on April 22nd, 2025, the remaining ratings would certainly be more positive.

No longer recommended. Service is subpar, unfriendly and only rudimentary knowledge of German is available. A problem solution is not possible. No matter what time the restaurant is visited, it is always dirty. Sorry, but unfortunately the place can no longer be visited!!!

Well, it's McDonald's. I often have problems with my stomach after eating there but I think it's not because of the food. The store itself is clean and well designed.

MC Drive made, 2 of 4 kids menus were packed incorrectly, sauces were missing and the crowning glory: there was a cappuccino milkshake with the kids menu... Ordered was shocking... a shame, but unfortunately not worth a star!!

We very rarely go to McDonald’s or Burger King (2-3 times a year at the kids’ request). Very important! Check bags! 95% of the time something is missing. The burgers are also a disaster. Simply disgusting. I'd rather get something from the Greek. E.g. A nice gyrospita.

The employee with the headset should probably be demoted to cleaning the parking lot! I complained about a McRib that had just a touch of sauce on it. The arrogant employee then slapped so much sauce on it that it was inedible.

Unfortunately, communication is quite difficult if an order is brought to the table incorrectly because some employees speak very little or hardly any German. I also had to ask several times whether the soap in the toilets would be refilled. This took forever and my food was already cold. Everything seems slightly chaotic and stressful in the store.

It's quite remarkable. If you are the only McD fast food restaurant in Hameln, you have two options. You're either super or super bad. This store is super bad. The buns are often dry and the burgers are carelessly thrown together. But what's much worse is that something is ALWAYS forgotten! Partial ingredients or whole burgers. The parking lot is a disaster which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to pull into a free parking lot and check the food. If you drive away and don't check, something is ALWAYS missing. So you have to laboriously drive out of the parking lot, check and then get back in line. Most of the time, the employees are personally offended and behave as if someone is trying to cheat them. Terrible personnel management and extremely poor organization. I'm very disappointed about it and hope there will be a competition soon that will do it better.

Repeats eating the wrong food or is missing something.

The store used to be of very poor quality, including when it came to the food, but now it has become really very good. The burgers are very well prepared, the fries are not limp but crispy, just like the chicken nuggets. The places are all clean, the toilets are clean and the staff is very friendly.
