McDonald's in Ibbenbüren

For as long as I can remember, I've been going to McDonald's in Ibbenbüren, but it's getting worse and worse. Sure, it's busy on a Sunday evening, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they simply pressed the order number even though it wasn't ready. The ice cream was already 80% melted, the fries were cold, and the cake was placed askew in the bag, so all the strawberries fell out. So, service when the manager isn't there is a complete disaster!

First of all, we were positively surprised by the design. This is definitely a really nice McDonald's with comfortable benches and wooden wall dividers. Plenty of ordering kiosks are available – great. The store was clean overall, including the restrooms! It was quite busy, so it took a while for the food to arrive, but it was warm and delicious. Unfortunately, a hot bag was missing, but we asked an employee, and it arrived less than two minutes later. Overall, we were satisfied.

Today we placed an order at McDonald's. When we got home, we discovered that half of the order was missing – the French fries and ice cream weren't included. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. My husband didn't check the order when we picked it up because we trusted the restaurant and didn't expect something like this. We paid for the order, but in the end, we didn't get what we paid for – instead, we only suffered frustration and loss. This is especially disappointing because the order was for our children, who were very disappointed. Please investigate this incident and take measures to prevent this from happening again in the future.

They set the order to "ready for pickup" on the monitor, even though it's still being prepared. I've noticed this happening several times. It's pointless to ask the staff about it due to language barriers. My two drinks took about 12 minutes, but they were ready for pickup immediately after ordering.

The lattice potatoes were very crispy. Everything else was also perfect. I can recommend it.

Very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable!

I had an icecream but it was quite small, not knowing it was normal I left a review using the receipt code to get another one discounted. That one was a normal size. After asking a manager about it, he did not apologize for the mistake with the first order or try to make up for it, instead I got blamed I did not come to him about it. I felt very attacked, very unpleasant.

Half of the order was forgotten, and not for the first time....

I picked it up from Mc Drive, and they didn't give me any sauce.

The staff doesn't even talk when they throw the food on the table. The tables and benches are dirty. And the tables were dirty too, but the 4 was okay. There are cobwebs everywhere in the store. We always liked the McDonald's in Ibbenbüren, but unfortunately, it's not anymore.

The branch was clean and the staff very friendly.

A very nice outdoor area, something I've never seen before. They really put a lot of effort into it. The service there was also excellent.

I'm really pleasantly surprised. Everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. All the other branches could learn a thing or two from this.

For me, today was the last time after several misunderstandings. It's hard to understand the woman at the drive-thru, and she probably doesn't understand much either. After my Happy Meal today only contained two fries and not what I ordered, I've really had enough. The same problem happened yesterday. Sure, it can happen sometimes, but not all the time.

Tables, floor, and chairs were absolutely filthy. I'd rather not write about the restrooms. Even considering it was a Saturday afternoon, hygiene shouldn't be overlooked. Ugh.

I like going to McDonald's, but the one in Ibbenbüren is always a disappointment. When I got home, after three minutes: the fries weren't crispy, the Big Mac was lukewarm, and the cheeseburger was completely missing! I paid over €14. That's pretty outrageous. But I guess it's my own fault because I didn't check everything at the checkout. And yes, there was no receipt included either. So there's no point in going back and complaining. But I can leave a review here. By the way, this isn't the first time that parts of the order have been completely missing. Bad employees, bad management? I have no idea why that is.

Whenever I eat here in Ibbenbüren, I have to urgently use the restroom 40 minutes later. Strangely, it doesn't matter what I eat. It's a shame, really, because I'd love to eat there. The atmosphere and staff are very good.

Yesterday, on June 21st, I went out to eat with two children and one adult. Great 👍 I was able to charge my electric car there, and everything worked. While charging, I placed our order using the McDonald's app and collected points at the same time. All the meals were delicious and served warm. The service staff were all friendly. The restrooms were clean, too. The McDonald's Ibbenbüren is well run. Keep up the good work.

Good for dogs.. we always ordered patties for our Kangal, which he was then allowed to eat outside with us at the table.. next to the table, of course.. they did not add any seasoning to the patties upon request.. there is also a water bowl available, but it does need to be refilled occasionally.. by the way.. Rest in peace Brutus.. we know how much you loved the patties.. there are now lots and lots of patties for you in dog heaven.. the staff loved feeding him the meat.. since the shop is close to the Aasee, we always went around the lake twice, then had food at Mc'es.. there was a good selection for the dog too.. he wasn't really convinced by the plant-based nuggets.. they tasted like meat, but didn't smell like it 😂 really a picture for the gods..

Two stars for the friendly staff and the delicious coffee. You really need to do a proper cleaning. Tables, floors, benches, everything was dirty. The cracks behind the seat cushions were especially bad. The sugar and cinnamon mix for the pancakes had been out of date for over a month.

Got takeout. Two cheeseburgers were missing, the ordered ketchup was missing, and there weren't enough straws. Tried it for the first time in a while, but was disappointed again.

The food was good as always, but something was missing EVERY TIME 😤 Today, in my haste, I didn't check and only made sure the kids' boxes were correct, and again, it felt like half of it was missing. It's really annoying considering how expensive it is. I'm annoyed with myself again and that they're simply not capable of working on this aspect of the service.

We ordered via app today, drove home and then noticed that 9 nuggets were missing. We ordered a burger with mayo and chili cheese sauce, which you get without any sauce, the burger is not good at all.

Today I had my worst cheeseburgers since McDonald's. I'm not exactly sure about the storage rules, but not like this. Shriveled, dry, and cold. I also had a Coke that tasted like iced tea 😀 I just remembered I've never reviewed McDonald's before, so I'm giving it a full 5 stars. I'd gladly do it again. P.S. The Burgers tasted perfect. I was hungry and don't like throwing anything away.

I waited 20 minutes for food, and out of four things, three were cold. My drink was lukewarm, though. My new meal, my burger, was lukewarm this time, but at least it was better than cold. The ordering terminal said there were no glasses available. But there was still plenty of rum behind the counter. I'm still waiting for a burger I got using points in the app. That was the last time I saw the inside of a McDonald's.

In my opinion, it doesn't even deserve one star! You can't sit outside without suddenly being visited by rats 🐀. Even after we alerted the staff, they just said, "What can we do?"

Somehow a little uncomfortable here in contrast to many other McDonald's branches. A bit obstructed, no clear structure, and unfortunately many of the tables weren't that clean. The wait for food at the table was ok.

The citizen didn't arrive very well (as you can see in the photo). But it tasted like a typical double cheeseburger from McDonald's. You can't complain about the waiting time of 2 minutes and the decor of the store is also relatively nice. But the shop was a bit dirty, which is why I would give the shop 3.5/5 stars and the food 2/5 stars, which brings me to around 3 stars.

It was missing. The sauce as well as the glass that came with it Food was cold and had a strange taste, fries were completely over salted and fart dry and hard as if they were a few hours old and had been warmed up again, staff hardly spoke German, burgers were simply slapped together so that the sauce completely ran out on one side. Super friendly staff, I always notice it positively when I'm there at different intervals. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case everywhere.

Super clean, the food arrives quickly and is still really warm. In addition, it has a very modern design.

I'm pissed off. I've never written before when something was forgotten or wrong. But that's enough now. Just ordered Minecraft Shake. Get something with a bitter, possibly coffee taste. As stated in the coupon, the Minecraft accessory was missing. Then redeemed a coupon double pack menu with Minecraft accessory. Of course, the accessory was also missing here. At least it was in the Happy Meal. You pay so much money and the child was extremely disappointed. Too bad. This wouldn't have happened with the old staff. Oh now a code for Minecraft came online. Great accessory 😞

I would like to rewrite my old and not so good review at this point. After the last renovation, the shop has become a lot more comfortable and the music is no longer excessively loud. Table service also worked very well on my last visits. There is still room for improvement when it comes to the interior design, as everything is far too bright. Personally, I liked the setup best when the entrance was still on the other side.

See for yourself how the McFlurry is advertised and how little is actually in the cup. I've been going back to McDonald's for years because of the price reductions and I feel really cheated. The employee laughed at my complaint. Too bad...

Good branch, easy to reach, lots of parking spaces. It could just be a little cleaner, some tables obviously weren't cleaned.

A very nice McDonald's, there are some here and there that aren't nice but this one is great. Very clean, the boss is always friendly, always has a smile for the customers and sometimes comes to the table himself and brings food or asks if everything is okay. This service is not available everywhere and we remember it very much. Food comes quickly and we even had the toy from the happy meal swapped because our child had the wrong dinosaur in the box. Very accommodating. 5 stars

We always enjoyed being here. Unfortunately, in the last few months one has had the impression that the staff is haphazard and overwhelmed. Long waiting times, cold food and incorrect orders are now standard. The cappuccino today was lukewarm milk with a hint of coffee...really undrinkable!

Ordered 1 Sprite without ice cream in the drive. After 35 minutes I got 1 cola with ice. Worst service I've experienced at McDonald's.

Today we tried to order from McDonalds again and the food was supposed to be delivered afterwards. We have now tried a total of 3-5 times to have this mediocre meal delivered to our home. Unfortunately it took another 2 hours for the food to arrive. After 1.5 hours, the delivery app said "your food will arrive in 56 minutes" In addition, after the 2 hours the food was finally there, but unfortunately some of it was wrong. Not recommended.

Attractive shop after renovation and extremely friendly staff for system catering. When it comes to food, you get exactly what you expect.

It's always good for when you're hungry every now and then

ATTENTION: While taking my order, the waitress knocked over the 0.4 l Fanta, spilling it onto my trousers, bag, and shoes. Even the food bag was in the broth. The matter was only resolved by contacting the store manager, although all the staff were very grumpy. Extremely unprofessional. What was much worse, however, was that I stood at the food counter for about 5 minutes and could see the hustle and bustle in the kitchen... the staff were digging in the fries with their bare fingers and then eating them; a member of staff also took the nuggets out of the tray with their bare fingers. When I reported this to a member of staff, they denied it.

Waited only 30 minutes for food, fries and burgers were cold, brought back, the employee was rude and said we'll warm it up again, we said please reheat, what did we get, fries soaked in grease and the cold burgers again, you pay for that...never again

Apparently I just made a typo and had two Cokes in front of me instead of a menu. The employee who brought me the food brought me fries and mayo without specifically asking for it and without recalculating it. This is how customer service works 👍 P.S. You could Maybe make sure you get charging points with 150kW or more, that would be great.

Hello, last Saturday I ordered 3 menus via the McDonald's app (mobile ordering). I waited over 20 minutes in parking lot 1 for my order and even had to ask McDrive. I thought mobile ordering would be quicker, but unfortunately that's not the case.

Well, it is and remains a McDonalds. Quickly order, eat and move on. Only I wouldn't recommend the salad as a Dutchman. Cannot be compared with that in the Netherlands.

Since Corona, you can forget about the restaurant, the employees are super unfriendly both inside and at the drive-in counter, and the worst thing is the food is always only lukewarm, a disaster. Update: Have been there again for a long time, conclusion always checks your order, several! Orders were forgotten, absolute juice shop.

Sorry, but unfortunately there are too many people working there who don't even understand a minimum of German and apparently can't read orders either 👌

Actually I have no words. You should just skip the out-of-home delivery service! You don't need to know anything more! Oh and the one star is for the (late) arrival...but at least.

I've been quite disappointed with this branch lately. I enjoyed eating and ordering there for a long time. Only the last two orders I had were always missing sauces and once even 2 Big Macs, which of course also cost a lot. But this morning it really hit the fan. I drove to MC Drive around 2:20 a.m. and placed my orders. It was strictly a happy meal. In addition, it wasn't exactly full in the branch at the time. I drove to the counter, paid and waited at the other window for my order. Nobody felt responsible for processing the order and I waited there for more than 15 minutes. Cars were already queuing up behind me on MC Drive. When my order was finally ready, the employee handed it over and there wasn't even an apology or anything like that. I'm not asking that I get anything extra or anything like that, but at least apologizing for the waiting time, for whatever reason, should probably be possible in the catering industry and with this small order. When I got home I noticed that the sauce was missing for the 4 nuggets. All in all, I'm just disappointed at the moment. Of course, I can understand that the stress and pressure behind it causes problems for some people and mistakes can happen, that's normal. But if the mistakes keep repeating themselves, which is certainly the case for other guests who are there or confirm orders, then you should think about what is causing it and how you can do it better.

Delivery at 5pm ordered at 8pm. Still not there at 9 p.m. and upon request, delivered three quarters of an hour later. So if I order food at 8 p.m. it comes to 9:45 p.m. ... That's what I call delivered on time :-( 😞 😓 Absolutely not recommended.

I had a very interesting visit to this branch. The food is ok so far, chicken burgers were thrown into a pile from 5m away like in every other branch and carelessly wrapped in the paper waste. But it tastes good. In my case, the same applied to the BigTasty Bacon. On site I was served exclusively in English. It's not a big problem, but still very strange. Since this is not Berlin Airport and it can be assumed that German-speaking customers will come. Since the employees on site somehow couldn't manage to assign an order to my app, I should simply order again. I said no because I had already paid in the app via Paypal. After a bit of back and forth it finally worked. The screen for orders, what is in preparation and what is ready to be picked up is not used here. All orders are simply clicked away and printed receipts are stuck onto the bags. So there were a few people standing around in front of the counter without a plan because their order was marked as ready for pickup, but not yet finished. Something like an analog/digital remix that was happening there. However, everyone was very friendly and the food, as already mentioned, was as you would expect in other branches. So you could leave there smiling rather than angry.

One star because you can't give less. We had just been baptized with cola by an employee... and instead of giving us towels, the floor and the table were dried... We both got very wet and the only compensation we had was a new menu... They didn't want to pay us the money... The employee who it happened apologized, but our new clothes were soaked in cola... NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

What can I say? McDonald's. Very busy, so it's not that clean. Ordered iced tea, got Sprite. If you made a complaint you were looked at angrily and people were more or less reluctant to exchange something. I was a regular visitor to Ibbenbüren, but since the renovation and replacement of the staff the shop has been reduced. I would now prefer BurgerKing.

Nicest McDonald's we've ever been to. Pretty decor elements, very cozy. Even the toilets. The outside area is really nice too.

Very nice place, nice and fast service

Nobody knows what to do, orders disappear from the display and nobody spoke German or understood it properly. When asked, we were told to be patient. After 15 minutes, after being pressed, we finally got our ice cream, which had already melted. Also the standard cups and not the ones with a winning code for the Monopoly game at Christmas time. Absolutely uncoordinated and chaotic, next time Burger King right next door, it's quicker there.

I've been to McDonald's in Ibbenbüren several times and it's always been fine. Every now and then it gets very crowded or people forget to add sauce for the fries. Otherwise everything is fine. This weekend I ordered 9 fancy nuggets and received 12. Gladly again!

Ordered mcplant, got real meat, ice cubes in the drink, even though ordered without chili nuggets, ordered normal ones!!!

I just had a question about the food I ordered, I was answered in English and made to understand that the employee didn't speak German. She then brought in another colleague, who only gave me the answer in English. Then I asked myself if I was in Germany 😂😂😂

We just ordered via the app in the new parking lot. We had to wait 15 minutes for the food, the fries arrived cold and when we looked through it we noticed that two burgers were missing. Then we went in and we thought they had put the burgers in our bag. I thought wrong - when we got home we realized that they had only packed 1 of the 2 missing citizens. I've never had it so bad with them, but that's a reason for us to never use these parking spaces again!! Just a shame

The boss is the best there! Always in a good mood and always an open ear!

We've been customers here forever. Super nice staff, the food is always great. We will continue to eat there in the coming years.

Where I ordered online via the app, 1000 points were deducted for 20 nuggets. Afterwards I received a message that my order had not been accepted and the branch was having problems with app online orders. Then drove again. The 1000 points were still debited. Therefore, no recommendation for McDonald's. Customer service didn't respond to my email at all. Therefore, we can avoid MC better

It has always been my favorite because of the food quality, speed and the hand washing station. A lot has changed after the renovation. The most negative change for me is that the freely accessible hand washing station was removed and replaced with a waste separation system. Would there be a proper way to wash and disinfect hands in the toilets, okay. Unfortunately, soap can only be found there sporadically, there are no paper towels and the rooms are very narrow. Otherwise, the food is always okay, fresh and tasty (better than at many other branches!)

It was empty and the food was still very cold (French fries cold and old castles even with a little sosen cola only tasted like water) 2- the service you just threw a tablet of food on the table and didn't have a good appetite to say Then I bought cakes and muffins to take away and there was a young girl in MCcafe. I wanted to briefly say that I wanted both things in a package. He was very arrogant and he sent me to the checkout. Then the shift manager comes who was also very aggressive I'm also saying he just looked at me wrong So in a few words I want to say the staff are not friendly with the guests if they keep it up, it's best to look for a new job because that's not normal

Best Mc's ever. The food is always fresh, warm and delicious. The employees are the nicest people ever. If they don't have something, they'll give you an alternative and something extra. If the order isn't right, they don't complain and quickly replace it

Standing in the cold for half an hour at night for 4 burgers because they are renovating and the "kitchen" is outside in a food truck. Then why not just leave the branch open entirely? Complete confusion, people had to be asked what they were getting. Apparently orders from the terminal inside didn't arrive outside at the food truck.

Only bad for a few months 😞 Better to do it completely than to ruin 85% of customers' appetite for McDonald's in general!

The store is currently being remodeled and it's total chaos. Why don't you just close this branch for 2 weeks? Currently no drive in, no breakfast just a small menu with dishes. No parking options as these are occupied by the companies that currently work there. Food wasn't warm and the chicken was raw. Never again!!!
