McDonald's in Bad Säckingen

Unfortunately, the conditions were absolutely filthy. The floor was very dirty and the tables weren't wiped down. The food was completely cold, and the lady who brought me the food couldn't say "good evening" or anything else. There was nothing going on in the restaurant, and yet these conditions still prevailed.

I've been to this McDonald's twice now and have never seen such friendly staff, who take care of you like you would in a 5-star restaurant. :)

Unfortunately, an addendum: the mc checken Klassik has become smaller. This means a price increase of about 30%. If things continue like this, the only option left is probably BK.

This McDonald's is a disaster. Unfriendly staff, the numbers for table service aren't refilled. Very dirty floor, and the restrooms aren't cleaned well either. Food was also cold. Not recommended.

We ordered via the app and paid in advance. We wanted to pick up the food at the drive-thru and were completely ignored. Despite repeated inquiries, the employees didn't respond. When someone finally did, the employees were very annoyed. We had to wait forever for the food. And we couldn't order another one because you couldn't order at the drive-thru. This was despite the restaurant being quiet. Very disappointing. The fries were cold, and the nuggets tasted stale.

After a 20-minute wait, we were politely informed that something was missing—it can happen on a Wednesday evening. After 55 minutes, we just wanted our money back. Instead of an apology, the waitress repeatedly snapped at us. We've rarely experienced such poor service. Despite understanding the stress and the possible lack of staffing, a simple apology would have been enough.

I go there every now and then; it's quite pleasant in Säckingen, it's fast, the staff is friendly, and mistakes are extremely rare. What really annoyed me today: The McChicken with the "new recipe" for €5.99 is now just a tiny bun!!! What am I paying so much money for? For a cardboard bun, mayo, salad, and a chicken patty. And all in minis. It used to be twice as big for €4!!! McDonald's doesn't get any more brazen. Yes, the branch can't be blamed for it, but bad reviews are the only way the greedy bosses wake up. McDonald's is history for me. I'll just redeem bonus points and eat only Burger King, where at least you get something for your money!

It tasted sensational. The potatoes were delicious, and my Royal TS hamburger was cooked to perfection and super crispy. This was the best McDonald's meal I've had in years. 100 points, thank you.

24 minutes waiting time for a normal order, with an almost empty restaurant

In a word, catastrophic! Waited 90 minutes for our order! Food came cold, squashed, and half of it was missing! Of course there was no refund! Why do you have to stubbornly offer a delivery service when it's so obviously not working?

The juice shop can't make my real matcha, so I'm never going back.

I ordered online and have been waiting for my food for two hours. I called twice and was told twice it would only take another ten minutes... We don't even need to talk about the "restaurant," aka dumping ground. I was turned away three times at the MC Drive-In at 8:00 PM because they just closed it. The employees are unfriendly and rude. Plus, the food is rarely complete. And the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. You should definitely work there; it's just not acceptable.

Never experienced such a bad McDonald's. I was there for the first time recently and found a piece of plastic in my drink. But mistakes happen. I was there again recently with a colleague. We were there for a while, and I realized I'd been given the completely wrong drink. On top of that, the tables were very dirty and the staff were unfriendly. As we left, we noticed that we were only allowed to stay in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. And we were there for a while, ordered two meals, and now we have to pay a fine. Unbelievable. Never again in Bad Säckingen.

Very dirty. Tables, chairs/benches, and floor. Table service was a disaster. They weren't able to bring the fries, drinks, and burgers to the table at the same time, and there were even missing items that had to be complained about. Trays at the counter were piling up, but the employees weren't really in a hurry to bring them to the table. The burgers were lukewarm, of course. The fries were cold despite the crowd of employees at the fries tub. We almost overstayed our parking time, but not because it was so great and cozy...

Ordered from Lieferando, called after an hour, and after five calls, someone finally answered. "We don't have any drivers." Already paid and still no food. Tried calling again after almost two hours, and no one answered!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS! That person should be fired! And my money is gone! Thanks for nothing!!!! The evening was nothing but stress! Incompetent McDonald's!

The restaurant is always very dirty, both the tables and the floor. Table service takes forever even when it's not busy (20 minutes for a happy meal). The staff chat instead of working. The air conditioning is on in the evening, so you freeze. Unfortunately, this isn't a good restaurant.

No, unfortunately, I can't recommend it anymore. We waited almost an hour for the food, even though it was quite empty on a Saturday night. The Mac Rib had almost no sauce, even though we'd complained about it several times. If you say something, you don't even get an answer. The Coke tasted like water. The tables were dirty.

Every time I've tried to give this branch a chance for the past two years, I'm always completely disappointed. Absolutely disappointing: We ordered three cappuccinos – the place was empty, yet we still had to wait over 20 minutes. When the drinks finally arrived, we were treated rudely. This is unacceptable.

You celebrate a child's birthday there, spend over €200, and two weeks later, as a thank you, you receive a €35 bill for exceeding your parking time by 30 minutes. Orders were incorrect and had to be repeatedly complained about. We'll never see that McDonald's again.

Disastrous! The slowest McDonald's I've ever experienced! Even though only one ordering terminal was open (the others were broken), we had to wait half an hour for our food. We were there yesterday, July 2nd, 2025. I went in and ordered at the machine and pressed pay at the cash register. There were no more than 5 people there. I waited and waited. Employees stood around, talking to each other, and I was still waiting. At some point I asked if I could pay so my order could be prepared and they said, just a minute. I was eventually able to pay. No hello, no apology. Very unfriendly. I waited a very long time for a small order. Sauces for the chicken nuggets were forgotten and a burger was missing. The employees were simply very unfriendly and gossiped about the customers in their native language. What they didn't know was that I understood it because Albanian is also my native language. Very sad to hear such a thing. The worst thing, however, was that one employee, tall, was wearing an apron and grabbed his crotch in front of the customers. Unhygienic and disgusting..I would give minus 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely not recommended! They don't serve milkshakes, even though they offer them. Straws aren't available (only if you order a milkshake), and you're "chased" out of the parking lot even though you want to recount your order! (Not without reason, because something's always missing). Unfortunately, this cheap food branch has too little competition; if it were, things would certainly be different here! You don't dare complain on the spot, or the filthy bastards will spit in your food. And yes, I haven't eaten that crap for a long time, but who wants to argue with their own wife?

I've had enough. There's always a shortage of food. I always have to check. I just dared not to check, and now the burger, fries, and sauces are missing. It's simply outrageous.

It's really very good, but they've neglected the atmosphere and maintaining customer comfort (see photos). The flies make for a rather hectic meal. Eating with one hand and swatting the flies away with the other, at first glance, 30/40. Very fast service, as usual in this type of restaurant.

My son honestly had to wait half an hour for his food. I then had to go to the front and complain. There was a very unfriendly lady who spoke to me angrily, saying that she had been walking around with the food and the number called was not correct at all. The staff were very rude and constantly talking to private people and making the customers wait. It was really bad.

Doesn't even deserve one star. I went to the mcDrive, ordered a burger, and got one with mold on the bun. I went back immediately and got a new burger, which still didn't taste good. The lady at the mcDrive told me, "Mold?! That can't be right. We only defrosted the buns yesterday. Maybe from the humidity." The cheeseburger I ordered was cold, and the fries tasted different than at other locations. That was the last time I went to this McDonald's.

Online ordering, delivery service: Forget it. Even if times of 65 minutes are specified, there's still no delivery after two hours. Unfortunately, a complaint or inquiry by phone isn't possible either, as no one answers the phone - despite the dial tone. Presumably, it's faster to drive to the branch yourself? If you offer a delivery service, you should implement it reasonably well. It's useless like this. You don't just want to wait for the food, you might also have other things to do. The last few orders have also been a few "errors" with the delivery. Often, items were missing or the wrong items were delivered (the wrong sauce on the wrap). Another thing that has happened: A long wait, and then the order was simply canceled by McDonald's. Too busy? No longer in the mood to deliver? You wait over an hour and then the cancellation comes? You're hungry and have to start the game all over again with another delivery service.

We've been waiting for our food for two hours. Ordered through Lieferando. I called the restaurant in Bad Säckingen at least ten times. After that, I kept pressing redial like a scam artist :) to see if anyone answered, but absolutely nothing... How can that be???? The order confirmation came at 4:26 p.m., and now it's 7:11 p.m. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh man, more like slow food than fast food. You could tell the employees were trying, sometimes more, sometimes less. But there was no sign of a standardized workflow or process. Sure, it was busy, but that's what happened elsewhere. It seemed like a chicken coop without leadership. After 20 minutes, I asked an employee at the counter what was happening with my order, since the number disappeared from the display. He said it was coming. I had my doubts (because he seemed a bit overwhelmed and unfortunately didn't understand me). But hey, you're nice and polite. When I asked for my money back after another 15 minutes, things suddenly moved quickly, and I received my order. Oh, that was the mc smart menu with two cheeseburgers. The store urgently needs improved management, process training for employees, and team-building measures. Then maybe it could be fun there as a customer and as an employee.

As with all McDonald's, the same good quality of food and drink. However, at this restaurant you can select the food at the terminals, pay and take a receipt and pick it up at the point of delivery. Negative here, the number display didn't work and thus chaos at the output. Conclusion the system still has potential for improvement

It's happened before that something was missing, but today they forgot two cheeseburgers and a hamburger. I parked in the drive-thru position for over 10 minutes, waiting for an order that cost just over €30. The long faces of the kids at home are priceless. A lot of things aren't up to standard here. @McDonalds Germany, please check out the store. One star is too many today. It's a shame.

Really disgusting! Staff (a lady with long hair on Sunday May 11th, 2025 at 10:30 p.m.) EXTREMELY rude and cheeky. We asked her to clean the tables because all the tables were dirty and she reacted extremely cheeky and rude! I'd rather not say anything about the cleanliness of the kitchen floor. The food was cold and you could just tell they didn't make any effort at all and the chicken nuggets just tasted completely different. It was probably because of the oil. Simply disgusting. The health department should get involved here...

We ordered a vegi whrap, plant nuggets and a menu with standard nuggets and a whrap with chicken and only one of 5 sauces arrived and the delivery only arrived after 110 minutes instead of the stated 55 minutes.

Service was very slow in Mc Drive

2024 Almost always a little sold out. You then get something that has already been paid for I don't know the last time what we ordered arrived. There was always something missing or wrong. We met there for an appointment in the morning. There were a maximum of 3 guests there. Unfortunately, after breakfast and then 2 coffees, I received a fine because 1.5 hours had been exceeded. For me, the branch in Bad Säckingen is one of the weakest McDonald's branches in southern Germany. A laudable exception is the older employee who kindly looks after the guests when clearing up - thank you very much for that. Unfortunately, the positive ends here. The sanitary facilities are in a dilapidated state: they smell extremely unpleasant, appear unhygienic and are visibly dirty - I have never experienced anything like this in any other branch in the region. Orders are often incomplete - something is almost always missing. The waiting times in the restaurant are still reasonable, but the McDrive is a disaster. There can no longer be any talk of “fast food” here: even for simple orders like a coffee or a cola you have to wait an unusually long time. It seems as if there is a lack of organization and leadership. I seriously wonder whether there is an active management and whether they even know the situation on site. In any case, there doesn't seem to be any regular checking. Very disappointing – there is a lot of room for improvement.

After a long time I was at McDonald's in Bad Säckingen again - unfortunately nothing has changed this time either. As always, fries and burgers were almost cold. If you get something warm there, it's like winning the lottery. In addition, people often forget to eat, which is very difficult. We were here at rush hour. Lots of staff and lots of visitors. The burgers are carelessly made. The fries were lukewarm. But the Springfries, extremely hot. The floor should be cleaner. The door to the women's toilet is stuck and you can't enter properly. While I was sitting there, I had a good look into the kitchen of this company. It's clear to me that you won't be able to find anyone on the weekend who will pay for the wages (I'm assuming that the company doesn't pay its employees great wages). For me it was once again confirmation of the conditions in these restaurants. A drink was also missing from my menu and I had to pay for it. Food 2* because loveless and sometimes lukewarm Service 3* at least the food was served to me at the table. Today I had a particularly pleasant experience at the McDrive counter. The employee was not only extremely friendly, but also very attentive and accommodating. She greeted me with a smile, took her time with my order and created a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. During the short conversation she was not only polite, but also humorous and communicative, which made the visit particularly positive. Such experiences are rare and remain in the memory because they show how much friendly and committed service can brighten up everyday life.

By far the worst branch in the area. When you order from McDrive, almost every time there is something wrong in the bag or something is missing. The fries are often soggy, lukewarm and somehow taste old. In addition, the lady at the McDrive window is not friendly. You feel as if you are simply a burden to her by visiting her. We've been there several times now and it's almost the same every time. We will not be visiting this branch again.

Not again so soon. Longer stays with repeat orders are apparently not welcome at this McDonald's. Later I get a bill for 45 EUR for a "parking violation" - I previously thought that as long as you were a customer, you could also use the customer parking space. The signs, if there are any, seem to be cleverly placed in the dark. I didn't see any indication of the maximum parking time in the restaurant. Not exactly customer friendly.

Hello The day before yesterday I was at your McDonalds between 7-8 p.m. and I had to wait 30 minutes for customer service at Mccaffe. The best thing is that no one has arrived (despite many requests). Customer service leader was arrogant and unhelpful. That's why I had to go away. First time I've had such bad customer service.

If you order from McDrive, please check immediately whether they have placed your order correctly. Either they don't understand it or they put other food in it on purpose. And girls, watch your men. Apparently there are female employees who ask men for their numbers.

Our regular McDonald's - we've often had rather half-good meals - but the last two times the food was hot, the fries were fresh, there was enough sauce - the delivery service was great (brought by older employees - super attentive and friendly!) - and the toilets were super clean - something has changed - for the better - keep it up

The place is very bad and unfriendly to foreign customers. As an international driver, I drove up to eat something and then rest in the car for some time. After 2 months, I received a fine for 70E for exceeding the parking time. I didn't even have a warning about the windshield wiper to explain on the spot. Total crap and rudeness. No words.

My standard MCs, often a bit messy but otherwise everything you can expect from fast food. The highlight in this store is definitely Don Uwe! Always bustling around somewhere, spreading a good mood and having a few words for everyone. Sometimes he is also responsible for delivering and has never been disappointed! 🫶🏼

Ordered something from McDrive today, January 1st, 2025 for over €42. Waiting time until you can actually order, about 20 minutes, even though there were no cars in the drive-in, and there were only two cars waiting in front of the ordering counter. Total time from waiting to getting food, 35 minutes. Quickly checked the bags to see if everything was there - it looked like it was. At home the surprise was that the toy was missing from the HappyMeal for the little one; Big Tasty Bacon was ordered without onion - received without onion, tomato and without bacon…. No comment on this (why do I even order a bacon burger then). But that's not all, the two large boxes of fries were only half full, which is why they had the same amount per box as in HappyMeal. All in all, the McDonalds in Bad Säckingen reduces more and more with every visit.

I never actually write a review, but I only partially share the opinion of the many negative ones. The shift that is there at 12:00 before the big rush during the week and especially on weekends does a really good job. Everything is wiped down and clean, even the service kiosks have no marks or damage. And it has enough space. The food is as usual from McDonald's without any negative special features. The store itself is decorated typically for McDonald's, not outdated, but not anything special either. Golden mean I assume. The older man with a bald head (sorry I can't remember his name) seems to take his job very seriously and is very extroverted but friendly towards the customers. (an almost unusual personality for a McDonald's, which I would rather expect in a specialty store.) I can very well imagine that a visit to this branch in the evening would be very different than before midday. However, I cannot judge this.

Wanted 2 hamburgers quickly. They were also quick...the cheese wasn't on the meat but next to it and the ketchup was half on and half next to the roll in the bag. You can see that it was done quickly. The main thing is to get out of it... Too bad

Good day I was looking forward to MC on Sunday, what happened..? I was in the MC with my friend and we had probably waited half an hour, but this is a different topic BUT how can it be that I got 4 dl but paid for 5 dl. I also paid for 2 chicken burgers but got a cheeseburger and a chicken burger and the fries were cold and not well fried and the same thing with the burger.. My boyfriend still has a stomach ache TODAY! Do you need tips from an inexperienced person on how to prepare hot food and good food? Then please contact me :) We will also avoid this restaurant and definitely not recommend it!

There are always too many people and they can't keep up, the food is sometimes served cold and soggy. Some of the fries are not cooked through and are soggy, so the food hasn't been edible lately.

There's a big family in the branch preparing food, but not consuming anything... Party atmosphere, no idea what that's about. I don't get any service at all for a long time, and then I'm incredibly unfriendly! The second time I order I buy something from McCafe that is dry and old. The retention times are definitely not adhered to here. This is a real disaster at McDonald's and action is needed!

The only capable and friendly man in this shop is the older bald man. I think he's the only one who cleans there and has a chat with the customers... greetings go out... employees are the mirror image, but one person can't travel alone... and what else With what feels like 90 percent of bad reviews, it's surprising that the operator always writes a "nice" answer but nothing changes in his shop...
