McDonald's in Idar-Oberstein

What happened to this branch? I ordered 2x menu at the drive in today plus a Happy Meal. At the counter to pay everything was ok. When it was handed out, initially until I opened the bag at home. The fries were too flabby and some were still raw. The Happy Meal was missing the drink, the fruit nonsense and the toy. Explain to a 5 year old why her menu is incomplete. I paid almost €40… and for what? Nowadays you really have to control everything that is given to you... (I only knew this from the competition). That's a disgrace to the customer. Where has the quality gone? And you don't need to pass this on to your employees, employees are only as good as their manager. Work on your mistakes urgently, otherwise you will lose the rest of your customers... and no nice looking branch will help.

A bit very cold at this time of year and the air conditioning is running at full speed. Service better Table service doesn't come with napkins... Too bad

Recently at the DriveIn: I give a code for a milkshake. After a short break, the employee asks me 'with chips, ketchup, cola?' After I expressed confusion that the coupon was for a shake, the employee stated that the machine was being cleaned & there were no shakes. That was at 8:30 p.m., the MC is open until midnight.

Wrong again. Maybe you swap printed text for colorful pictures for your employees. 11€ for the bin. Now let's see what I find in the freezer after 12 hours of work.

What I don't understand about at McDonald's is that with the current prices being so high, it's probably a given that the customers are served and not as it is currently, the service is terrible because you have to get the food yourself, even if we still have Corona It should still be possible for the customers to be served. Employees could, for example, put on a mask and gloves when serving the customers, but it is incomprehensible that the employees are not serving the customers at the moment. I just think that's shit because what you say at the beginning You should also maintain this service and not stop providing the service because of some crazy statements

This branch is always dirty, no matter how many people are there. If there is a holiday, you have to wait an hour. But why should I always clean myself? The dirt is the saddest thing here.

I ordered the breakfast menu on site. Unfortunately, an employee had to kindly inform me that from my menu consisting of 3 items, only one item was available (unfortunately I have had this several times in this branch). I explained that it wasn't a problem and that I would like the money back from the 2 other products as the difference. Apparently none of the employees or the existing manager have been trained to book this in a cash register (cancellation of the menu should normally be possible in any case). Instead of asking the management, two employees came with whom I first had to have a discussion. Afterwards one of the employees came to me again and it was somehow possible to pay me the difference. Thanks for that. My suggestion would be to have the staff and/or the manager (who was even on site but didn't feel it was necessary to talk to me personally) handle the terminals at schools so that menus or individual products can also be taken out if these are not available. Thanks so much

Unfortunately, for some time now you have always had to check whether everything you paid for is in the bag. Sometimes something is missing, sometimes something is wrong. Today it was a single CB instead of the double. It couldn't have been due to too much stress, I was the only one in McDrive. Nevertheless, I was of course sent back from the counter to the parking bay. But you only do that anyway because it makes it look like you're processing orders particularly quickly. Or you get insulted in a restaurant because the checkout again clicked on consumption in the restaurant instead of take-out. That was definitely my last visit to McDonald's Idar-Oberstein.

Breakfast ordered and it was as good as rubber. My husband asked if it was from the day before and was just warmed up. Stupid looks were just paid. Coffee didn't come either. It wasn't there for 5 minutes when I asked where the coffee was and they said it would be there soon. I said it was there But it's been a while since he's back again, yes, yes, he's coming soon.... well, really, the thing will never see me again for 20 euros, then said they should eat their garbage alone and left...

The breakfast was so fresh that it could jump so tough, the burger bun was so disgusting that I brought it back and asked if the warmed one from the day before was so dried out... The coffee sat for an eternity and wasn't brought and asked where my coffee was stays comes right after the third time comes right away I told her to eat and drink her trash alone and left. A mess for McDonald's and you have to pay money for it ugh... they open at 7 a.m. and at 7:05 a.m. we were told the cocoa was sold out... and the floor apparently hadn't been cleaned from the day before, so it was a mess

The crew this evening is absolutely catastrophic. Little activity and forever waiting times.

When there is little activity, the employees are still unable to think about everything.

It was an absolute disaster. I waited a total of over 30 minutes for a McRib and chicken nuggets (no menu, so no fries, no drink, just the two things), which ended up being completely cold because it was sitting there the whole time, but due to obvious overwhelm was not passed on to employees. While I was waiting, orders were constantly getting wrong, people were complaining, employees were blaming each other, and everything was absolutely chaotic... Then someone complained that all of their things were cold (of course, they were already there when I sat down, they just generally didn't pack them up) and then one of the employees said: "Yeah, what should I do, those "Everyone here is cold." Better communication and coordination with the kitchen and especially with each other at checkout and serving would have been absolutely necessary. The family in front of me then wanted to get their money back and leave after asking nicely and being told, yes, the order will still take a while. However, since no one came to the checkout, they were still standing there waiting to see what came quicker, their food or someone who would give them their money back, when I finally had my food and was happy to be able to leave this branch. With completely cold food and the wrong sauces, but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes just for someone to give me the right sauces (I don't believe in warm food there anymore). At least I won't go here again.

We waited half an hour for our food, then went to the ladies because our order couldn't be seen on the screen, apparently the system wasn't okay. Nevertheless, everyone who was next in line ate their food straight away!?! Hmm strange. Our food was then prepared straight away.

Totally overwhelmed staff, dirty tables, defective charging stations for the car. Food as usual or expected.

I was here again after many, many years and I was really disappointed. The burgers (McChicken) were far dry. The tables were all dirty. Since I'm not at all familiar with the function of ordering at this terminal, I ordered at the counter. Then I stood around a bit lost with my piece of paper in my hand and had no idea that you had to take the sign with the number with you and the order would be brought to you. The lady at the checkout looked at me a little strangely...a quick note would have been really nice. All in all, I now know where I won't go in the future.

The food was borderline bad. If you compare the pictures with reality, you wonder why there isn't an investigation into brochure fraud.

Despite the enormous rush, the food was ready quickly and was edible.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've forgotten a burger here. The staff often seems overwhelmed or inattentive. It's really annoying when you come home and find that your order isn't complete again. It's a shame that this happens more often. Hopefully more care will be taken in the future."

McDonald's Idar- Oberstein Had to wait 45 minutes with 2 children who just wanted a Happy Meal each. After I asked after 35 minutes, the table delivery took another 10 minutes. I was simply forgotten and there wasn't even any compensation in the form of toys or a small soft ice cream for the children who waited patiently for so long. I will only visit this branch as a drive-in, if at all. Addendum: After I experienced this and also managed McDonalds, I was invited by the branch management to 2 Happy Meals.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I am really disappointed with this McDonald's branch. The waiting times are simply unacceptable. For three simple things you sometimes have to wait in line for over half an hour. Once I was so annoyed that I told them to give me what was ready at that moment and then I didn't need the rest anymore. Even if you just order a milkshake, after waiting 30 minutes at the second window in the drive-thru you will be sent straight to the parking lot. Apparently just so that the times look better on paper and the boss thinks that work is done quickly and well here. With larger orders, something is almost always missing. In addition, you often don't know where to sit because the tables are rarely cleaned. Either the staff is simply not suitable for this work, or the staff shortage is so great that more staff should urgently be considered. Other branches show that things can be done differently. Maybe a company outing to a well-organized location would be a good idea to see how things can be done better.

Man merkt den erheblichen Personalwechsel in dieser Filiale. Gute Mitarbeiter und Führungskräfte die Ihre Arbeit verstehen sind nicht mehr da. Man steht für 3 Sachen teilweise länger als 30 Minuten an. Ist man im McDrive, selbst wenn es nur ein Milchshake ist, wird man direkt nach vorne auf den Parkplatz gebeten nur damit Sie Ihre Zeiten vorweisen können ,wie ach so schnell dort gearbeitet wird. Wenn ich dann mal eine größere Bestellung habe zum mitnehmen für die ganze Familie, fehlt mindestens immer eine Sache. Letztens haben Leute 45 Minuten gestanden bis sie an der Kasse Bar bezahlen konnten. Blickt man in andere Filialen sieht man auch das es anders geht. Vielleicht wäre ein Betriebsausflug mal angebracht damit die dort arbeitenden Menschen mal sehen wie gearbeitet werden kann.

Again and again "salad is all" or modest quality. Soggy fries, salads over the printed time, salad recently bordering on bodily harm. Missing sauces on the nuggets. In short: I'm not usually a review writer, but this is the standard. I'm full. Last three orders all with errors, picture of last week's salad attached. Now you really have to do it directly at the counter check entire order??? The queue and waiting times are already long enough. That wasn't the case, just like the shortcomings and mistakes in the past. And no, I don't want a standard excuse, I would rather the energy was invested in corrective measures. ----------------- Update after a few weeks and about five more visits: What can I say, flawless lately. Unrecognizable! Error-free every time, the best quality and an almost unbelievable leap, especially with the salads. Always crisp and fresh, although the filling quantity varies quite a bit, but not that wild. It can no longer be compared with the rotten stuff in the picture. At this level, an absolutely unreserved recommendation and the review has therefore been changed from 1 to 4 stars. The last few times there has been a hint of stinginess and something was missing and burgers really don't say well done, everything is somehow tolerable, it's all just people and hard times. The last three orders on the drive were all not completely limp, the toppings on the burgers were more next to the burgers in the packaging than on them. The mood behind the counter seems to be good, perhaps you should pay a little more attention to the products and customers. With the steep prices (which McDonalds can't help with), they should make even more effort to retain customers. We rarely go to McD but when we do we really look forward to the branch in Fischbach. It's typical fast food and the order always needs to be checked. Something is missing every time we are there...

One of the neat, clean branches. The “self-ordering terminals” all work and it is delivered to the table quickly. Every now and then an item is missing from the order, but this is corrected without complaint... after all, only people work there.

Except that the meat on the Hamburger TS was lukewarm, everything was OK!

We decided differently before ordering and left the restaurant. We didn't feel comfortable there.

I have never experienced such incompetence, we stood in line at the drive-in for 30 minutes. We didn't come back otherwise we would have left. And best of all, the food was so bad that I would have liked to give it back. I would have liked compensation for this long wait, or at least an apology. What a bad team!!!

They even stopped giving us drinking straws. Just with a cocktail. No WLAN. And the internet doesn't work here at all. The eternal problem with activating and using vouchers.

Had dinner there with the whole family. Normally I'm not a big McDonald's fan. I've changed my mind since the visit because of the wonderful waitress with the long dark hair and glasses. She was so nice and accommodating that we will come back often because of her! Food was fresh and tasty. Luckily more veggie products.

Drive-thru employee observed rolling her eyes with every order. Something was often missing from our orders, so we now check at the counter whether everything fits. While we were about to do that, she interrupted us directly with a raised, unfriendly voice: Would you please move on because if you haven't noticed, there's a huge line behind you. April 26th 10:20 p.m When you observe that the employees have so little interest in their job, you almost lose your appetite!

So it's the only McDonald's in our area and it's always had breakfast since it opened and today, when we wanted to try breakfast, it's only available again from April 18th. How unnecessary it is to just give up breakfast for a short time.

Our favorite Mac Donalds. We don't go often, but when we do, we go here. The food is always fresh and if you have a complaint about something it is always resolved professionally. The restaurant is also clean.

I ordered a Sprite and got soda but paid the price for a Sprite and got the receipt that said Sprite! I think it's really audacious that McDonald's branches in the area are just ripping you off!

Were served very rudely today. The lady was obviously very annoyed by something. And then we received something different than what we ordered. You would actually think that you can't go wrong with 4 milkshakes.

Es wird von mal zu mal immer schlimmer. Kaum eine Bestellung bei der nichts fehlt oder irgendetwas zu bemängeln wäre. Burger werden gefühlt nur zusammengeschmissen, Pommes nur halb befüllt und/oder in die Tüte gelegt, sodass alle Pommes in der Tüte rumfliegen. Servietten/Feuchttücher sucht man auch vergebens, von Nuggetsoßen ganz zu schweigen. Und wo zum Henker ist das "Herzlich Willkommen bei McDonalds, ihre Bestellung bitte" und "Vielen Dank für Ihre Bestellung, das macht X €, fahren Sie bitte vor zum nächsten Fenster"? Stattdessen heisst nur "Ihr Bestellung" und "Am nächsten Fenster zahlen". Für mich war es definitiv der letzte Besuch in diesem "Restaurant".

Als erstes einen Sprite bekomme in der viel zu wenig drin war auf Nachfragen wurde mir gesagt das sei normal und als ich in meinen Cheeseburger gebissen habe hatte ich ein Haar darin nach meiner Beschwerde kam nicht mal eine Entschuldigung oder irgendwas lediglich einen neuen Burger habe ich bekommen.

Essen war soweit gut, hätte aber wärmer sein können.

Das Essen ist meistens kalt, Service braucht zu lange für die Herausgabe des Essens und überspringt Kunden die vorher da waren.

Wenn man es hier mal schaffen würde, bei 3 Bestellungen wenigstens 2 mal das in die Tüte zu packen, was ich bestellt habe, wäre ich ja schon zufrieden. Vielleicht gewöhnt man sich mal die bescheuerten Fragen (extra käse, extra Bacon, noch ne Cola dazu bla bla) ab, dann vertippt man sich auch nicht laufend. Unterirdisch! Ich habe keine Lust, jeden einzelnen Burger jedes mal vor Ort auszupacken und zu prüfen.

Gutes McDonalds Restaurant mit einem Service, den man erwarten darf.

Leider immer schlechter.... Service wird immer schlechter. Essen/Getränke werden nach einer Ewigkeit kalt und teilweise sogar falsch gebracht (obwohl nicht viel los ist) nach Reklamation dauert es wieder ewig bis das Richtige kommt, dafür werden die Preise aber immer teurer....und geheizt wird scheinbar auch nicht mehr... schade

Waren gestern in Idar-Oberstein im McDonald's..habe vorab in der App bestellt und Vorort ( Parkplatz) per PayPal bezahlt ...betrat das Lokal und sehe das dort eine ganze Menge Leute standen die auf ihr essen gewartet haben! Auf der Tafel auf der die Abholnummern standen war kein Platz mehr ...habe 20 min gewartet und in diesen 20 Minuten war nur ein Gast von den Abholer der das Lokal mit seinem essen verlassen hat . Ich bin zum Servicepersonal und fragte ob ich die Bestellung stornieren kann ( hatte ja schon per PayPal in der App bezahlt ) leider ginge dieses nicht ...Vorschlag ...App verbessern ..ich verließ darauf das Lokal und werde mich mit PayPal in Verbindung setzten ...leider war dies nicht das erste Mal das es so dort abgeht ...meine Antwort als ich vor 2 Wochen dort war ...das abholen und Lokal eine Küche ist und Drive eine weitere ...ich denke wenn ich mehr Service anbieten wie App Bestellung , Lokal Bedienung , Drive und Terminal sollte man dass anders organisieren ...mich hat dieses Fast Food Restaurant gesehen weil No Fast Food ..

Sauberes Geschäft Freundliches Personal

Wir müssen ein wirklich großes Lob aussprechen. Die Burger und die Curly Fries waren frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker, das Personal super freundlich und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind 🙂

Naja, an der einen Theke läuft Radio und aus der Küche dröhnen die Böhse Onkelz. Schräg!

Bis jetzt immer Super Nette Bedienungen, und Warme Burger gehabt. Im allem wird sich hier noch Mühe gegeben, Gefällt mir.

Wir sind hier seit Jahren immer mal wieder so 1 bis 2 mal im Monat. Leider geht die Qualität der Burger immer weiter zurück. Bei unserem letzten Besuch waren alle 3 Menüs einfach nur Kalt. Wir haben für 3 Personen knapp 35€ bezahlt und waren alle nicht zufrieden. Da sollte sich McD dringend wieder auf die Qualität besinnen.

Für einen kleinen Imbiss zwischendurch geht es in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht.

My yogurt mcflurry was pretty tasty. I was a little frustrated that l had to wait 25 minutes for two apple pies and 2 mc Flurries, I probably would have had to wait longer if I wouldn't have asked for them.
