McDonald's in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

The food is sometimes very fresh and doesn't sit around for two hours like you're used to, but the rats and mice running around the place while you're eating outside is disgusting and embarrassing. The restrooms are dirty and unhygienic. On top of that, some of them are stuffed with toilet paper. This place definitely needs to be investigated!!!

We were there yesterday and treated ourselves to a chocolate-flavored milkshake that smelled of alcohol...

My 10 stars go once again to today's service at the drive-thru. I'm always happy when I place my order with him. Unfortunately, I can never remember his name (Mahia?). Sorry if I mispronounced it. It was on September 12th around 8:00 p.m. Keep it up. 🤗Always friendly, always nice.

I've noticed this branch a few times for its lack of cleanliness, but today's restrooms were a real blast. You were already stuck to the floor the moment you walked in, and not to mention the smell... it's enough to take your appetite away!

Our visit to the McDonald's branch in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler on August 23, 2025, at around 2:45 p.m. was unfortunately more than disappointing and very questionable in terms of hygiene. Upon entering, we noticed the heavily soiled and sticky dining area. This was noticeable with every step. Even when ordering, we had doubts about whether we should even eat there. Unfortunately, these doubts were confirmed. The dishes seemed dried out and barely edible. The fries were cold, soggy, and completely unseasoned. After complaining, we received a new portion, but it was of the same quality. The staff reacted unfriendly, and our complaint seemed unimportant. The condition of the dining area was unacceptable, and the restrooms were a waste of time. During our meal, we became so disgusted that we finally threw everything away and left the restaurant. Never again McDonald's in Ahrweiler. It's a shame for a town in the Ahr Valley that is so rich in tradition and attracts many tourists. We've decided to avoid this branch, primarily for health reasons.

Everything was fine, we have nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is typical McDonald's, but otherwise everything was satisfactory.

I was a little hesitant because of the bad reviews. But I had promised the kids. And those bad reviews are undeserved. I'm not a fan of McDonald's in general, except that my children (like most people) love it. But this is an excellent branch. The staff is simply very friendly, the food was delivered super fast, and everything was just fine. Normally, there's always something missing, but not this time. The branch was also clean, contrary to what I've read elsewhere. There was also clearly sufficient senior supervision/management.

This was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Every burger tasted like it was made yesterday, the bread was incredibly hard, and the waitresses weren't even bothered about their jobs.

Unfortunately, it feels like it's getting worse and worse... You're particularly often disappointed when you're craving a milkshake or McFlurry. The machine is often "broken"...

Food was burnt and bad service always screaming

No, not recommended. Service is not good. The food was burnt. The service talked a lot and shouted at me.

The order is marked as ready for pickup even though preparation has just begun. Typical McDonald's KPI optimization. The highlight, however, was that at exactly midnight, orders were accepted via the terminal, but everyone was urged to leave the store because it was closed. The food was as usual.

After the place had truly developed into a great MC over the past few months, there wasn't a clean table to be found at 7:06 PM today. And it wasn't that busy. What a shame.

We come here every now and then, hoping things might improve someday, but unfortunately, we're always disappointed. The food is almost always cold, lukewarm at best. The service is usually very silent and seems annoyed. Cleanliness has improved somewhat, but there's definitely room for improvement. If the kids weren't so keen, we wouldn't come here.

Today, on May 14, 2025, at 8:25 PM, we encountered very friendly and attentive employees. They brought us extra lids for the kids' drinks! All employees had a smile on their faces and responded immediately. They also helped me immediately with my app issue. (Unfortunately, this isn't the case at all McDonald's.) And the Big Mac had a huge amount of lettuce on it! Thank you so much!

Apparently the nuggets only saw the deep fryer as they walked past, the employee at the drive in was extremely unfriendly and looked like she didn't feel like working. You can definitely drive past it and treat yourself to something delicious somewhere else.

App coupons sometimes don't work, offer conditions are *always* not met, no matter what you change and how, the problem only exists here, it works without any problems elsewhere

Unfortunately, food is getting worse... The seats were beyond dirty. The toilets were so dirty that we preferred to leave it alone... No more!

Sorry, but first the table was dirty and I had to clean it myself. Then the men's toilets (where I was on them) and also the women's, as my friend told me, dirty to the point of not being possible anymore. Then the food came and everything was cold. Unfortunately, the service really leaves a lot to be desired. I probably won't go there again.

I just picked up two Hamburger Royal with cheese at Mc Drive! An absolute disgrace! Totally dry and cold! If they haven't been lying there for hours then I'll eat a broom! That was the last time I got anything there!

Friendly Yummy Cleanliness was so-so

The last shitty store with the new ordering system doesn't work at all and the employees are too stupid to pack everything and something is always missing or wrong

This was the worst meal I have ever had at McDonald's. All food was either cold or lukewarm. Otherwise the fries are always too salty, this time there was no salt at all. I will never go here again.

We know enough McDonalds branches. They are all a little different and yet somehow the same. That's why I'm trying to show the differences. The most important thing is probably the food. That's typical McDonald's good or bad (as you think). Now for the differences: The dining room is open and bright and, as is now the case almost everywhere, there are ordering terminals. The table service also works very well. So far everything is great. I find the point that the entrance seems a bit inconspicuous and you think that you have to enter via the terrace to be neutral. I think 2 points are bad: On the one hand, the toilets were usually not in such good condition when I visited. And the parking situation is usually quite chaotic because you share the parking space with other companies.

The hamburger was missing from my bag, as was the receipt, so I couldn't check whether it was accounted for. This has happened to me there before, very annoying

My family and I come here regularly and I have never experienced anything like this. In 2024, I was in the hospital with food poisoning at the end of the year, and the food poisoning didn't come from anywhere but from McDonald's This evening I was there again and got my daughter a happy email and of course she only got the fries, the nuggets and the squeeze were forgotten and that happens so often I wonder where the employees are with their heads, really I pay money for that Eat and you don't even get everything.

The last time I ordered the vegan nuggets, there were actually real ones (with meat) mixed in, which is not possible. Demanded money back, didn't get it, nor an apology. Totally cheeky service and employees, they can't serve burgers either. Not recommended. Update 12/2024: The exact same thing happened again 😂

I ordered 2 lattes and got 2 black coffees. When I complained they said no, I wouldn't have ordered and paid. I would have ordered 2 coffees. After looking in the trash can for the receipt, I finally got my 2 lattes but still no apology. I've never experienced anything like this from other McDonald's.

I was there today around 7:30 p.m. and ordered food to take away... So the fact that a Ceaser salad should ONLY consist of greens is interesting... Service personnel should perhaps check the products themselves again when the goods are handed out

There is no soap in the toilets. Apart from that everything's ok.

Food ok, tastes like all branches. But unfortunately very dirty. Put empty packaging on the various tables and use napkins. Fries and packaging are also spread across the floor. Unfortunately no table service either. I have rarely seen such a situation.

I was there in the afternoon. This time I didn't have to wait long and was able to place my order quickly. It also went very quickly until I was able to pick up my order. I also received friendly service. I've experienced it differently, but in a different branch. I don't like going to the McDrive counter. I find it somehow impersonal and I tend to have difficulty communicating. (I personally feel that way).

It's a modern Mcs like any other in the area. There is no McCafe area. However, I wasn't aware of how small the breakfast burgers are🤣🙈.

On August 26th, 2024 at 3 p.m. my partner ordered a Hamburger Royal TS menu in Drive In. His menu was simply thrown into the bag, his burger wasn't full or half was just thrown in there. With today's prices you can expect it to be a bit decent.

The worst MacDonald's ever. They are dozen behind the counter but inefficient. They just discuss with they friends and let your menu becoming cold. Move along, there is nothing here if you want to dine.

I was just placing my order and told the employee that the floor was very slippery and it was sticking to the cash register and she looked at me and didn't give me an answer. When I paid, I said again that it wasn't okay, my statement unbelievable to ignore

Rarely seen such a dirty McDonald’s restaurant! The floor is sticky and very dirty. There are paper napkins and leftover food everywhere. Tables greasy. We preferred to avoid the toilet. Even at Cologne Central Station the restaurant is cleaner and there is a lot more going on there.

Was at the drive in shortly before noon. It wasn't busy, but I still had to wait a bit. But still faster than at Burgerking! Service friendly! Smart menu as always.

Service starts with the first employee, and in my case that was Gülbey. Not only was he very friendly, but he also worked pragmatically. When the coffee machine broke, he quickly offered an alternative: filter coffee with regular milk. A consistently positive and solution-oriented service!

In short. Tried again today to give it a chance. Big Tasty Bacon 1 bacon slice... cold McCrispy cheese not melted cold Cheeseburger cold and burnt Fries were completely missing I think you can almost find better food in the nearest garbage can. Employees have long seemed either overworked or listless/overwhelmed. Hygiene I don't have to mention that every pigsty is cleaner. Toilets have always stank after rest area toilets have not been cleaned for months. In addition, the play equipment for the children is absolutely filthy and dilapidated. Definitely the last time I was there for me. Years ago there was a really nice McDonald's where it was tasty. I don't understand why nothing is changed with so many bad reviews.

There's always something missing. If you order more than 2 things at MC Drive, the employees are overwhelmed. I've already lost a few euros because of this stupidity.

When we come into the restaurant we are looked at with a disgusted expression, even though the description says that it is a good place for groups, we are still not welcome, no matter how crowded it is We are always being talked at stupidly and admonished. Prima Restaurant, nie allzu voll, schnelle und nette Mitarbeiter

Das Essen war kalt und die wartezeiten waren lang. Die Mitarbeiter kämmen nicht Mal dazu richtig die Servicewagen zu leeren. Auch das Spieldisplay war defekt.

zwa lapprige Pommes, aber dafür wurde das Essen an den Tisch gebracht und das Ambiente ist auch ganz okay. Das Preis-leistungsverhältnis ist okay und es gibt dort ein mccafe.
