McDonald's in Donauwörth

Very dirty, loud, many homeless people and people of various nationalities. You could only order water online; soft drinks weren't available even though they were being sold at the counter. The homeless people, who seemed to be there just to charge their phones, were also very loud – unfortunately, the owner/employees did nothing about it. The table service took forever, even though it was 2 pm and the lunch rush was over.

The last shop! The shortage of skilled workers is evident here! They're useless! You can order whatever you want, it won't turn out the same! Only people here, and what people!

At 10 p.m., it was a madhouse. The staff tried to speed things up, but the lines persisted.

I think the MC Donalds is top, others were much worse

Unfortunately, once again, it was very disappointing. We waited 25 minutes at the McDrive...nothing was moving forward, let alone backing up. Not a word of apology. A shame!

Order arrived after 25 minutes and after multiple requests (1x cheeseburger, 1x chicken burger). The kitchen apparently followed some sort of system, but not in the order of the orders.

Very good branch. The entire restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly! The food was brought to the table quickly. Electric chargers right outside.

Dirty. Always check your takeout order. Very often they don't put the whole order in. Today they didn't put 2 burgers and 3 sauces in my order. This is not the first time.

It's just McDonald's. There's not much to say. The service was very nice. The restrooms could be cleaner. But that's a fundamental problem. If people were more careful with the restrooms, things would be different.

I went to Mac's again after a long time, but never again. I waited forever for the food, the fries were soggy, the burger was cold, and the Coke tasted like dish soap. It still makes me sick. It's not even worth a star.

I'd say it's standard fare at McDonald's. But where does such a franchise come from? We've gotten food several times recently, via the drive-thru. We almost always waited significantly longer than five minutes for our order to be prepared. It was off-peak. When paying with a card, the terminal was positioned in such a way that the amount couldn't be read. Asking for help didn't help either. Annoying. The food was okay, but not fresh, which I would have hoped for given the wait time. As I said, there are much better restaurants. Overall, it was okay. If I can avoid it, I probably won't go there again.

A 20-minute wait and the burger is missing from the cone. But after that wait, the ice cream was completely runny, since it was made first. Really great 😠

The fries get more disgusting each time, half-cooked and soggy. The MC Flurry also gets more disgusting, watery, and barely contains any ingredients for the price. Very disappointed

Michael Manusakis would say: CATASTROPHE! Basically a McDonald's like any other. But things are getting more and more annoying at McDonald's. Everything is app-based, but apparently, McDonald's can't seem to get the system running reliably. Today (11/17/24) we went there to grab a quick bite while passing through. It's certainly not quick, as the ordering terminals only work partially – one is down, the other is down. But Donauwörth is always busy. Nothing works at the checkout either, as customers are arguing because the app isn't working. So, vouchers aren't possible... Then it's McDonald's Monopoly. It doesn't work without the app crashing. The kids are happy about the stickers and frustrated because the shit doesn't work. After ages, we finally brought everything in, won a coffee for Mom, but the system crashes again on the way to order. You can almost assume that the system is working. Discounts and prizes are promised, but nothing can be redeemed. Many then buy at the regular price, and hey presto, the sales are good. Mc: Today it wasn't just nothing, it was nothing at all! We stopped by again (May 18, 2025): This time, too, waiting at the terminals, and this time, too, not all of them are working. What else can I say? A quick trip to the restroom; there's time here anyway. But here, too, the decline of Mc! Disgusting, nauseating, only partially functional... There seems to be no control anymore. I've reduced the stars because things are getting worse and worse in DON.

Waited almost 1 hour for a cheeseburger and some fries. I then left again because other guests who came after me were served before me. I didn't get my food and I didn't get my money either😡😤

Unfortunately I don't eat there, it's too expensive for me, you only get full for a short time, I can go to a good restaurant for that money. This gives me healthier food without any major flavor enhancers.

Wanted to place an order at the Mc Drive counter. It took ages because the lady couldn't speak any real German.

The food was fresh, the service was quick and the atmosphere was pleasant. Gladly again!

Unfortunately, when asked, there was no paper straw, although it was mentioned that the cup edges and lids are unhygienic because employees touch them with their bare hands. Outrageous answers to questions about a milkshake straw included. Not recommended. You are forced to be unhygienic! Even if you offer to PAY for the piece of paper! YOU MUST ORDER A MILKSHAKE IN WINTER.

Was here in the mc drive. I had to wait 20 minutes in my cart to go to a FAST food store. Yeah, a bit uncool. The food wasn't warmer or colder than usual, so it couldn't have been because it was freshly prepared. I think that the motivation of the employees is probably not particularly high.

It's OK It's just an American quick snack

No matter how little or busy there is - they always manage to get the fries and nuggets cold and old! Burgers are dry and on the grill and in the warming station for far too long. Service is a disaster. Ice machine constantly “off” and Cola Zero empty… It's a shame because sometimes you just want McDonald's :D

Very dirty. Every table was dirty and noone came to atleast wipe them off. It wasn’t even rush hour. And employees laughing behind the counter while people had nowhere to sit.

Service on the drive is still one star too many - I had to wait 10 minutes even though no one was in front of me - but if you look through the drive window the employees are just standing around and you sometimes start moving when you complain - it doesn't work at all - service speed is nil - and strangely enough, the shake machine is always being cleaned, although it is definitely a pasteurizing machine that only needs to be cleaned every 2 weeks - lazy, slow employees are in DON

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. Ordering at McDrive was kind of strange because there was no one at the “pay” counter. After I realized that I had to pay and pick it up the next day, my order came very promptly. I haven't been to McDonald's in 2 years so I didn't expect much and was promptly disappointed. Received the bag, drove off and opened the bag after 10 minutes of driving. The fries were very warm, which I thought was good, but the small package wasn't even full. The hamburgers were a joke. I don't know what these things are supposed to look like, but definitely not like the pictures. What an impudence.

Absolutely not recommended. Ordered takeaway food and of course the fries were missing from two menus. My Double BigMac was a regular BigMac with a slice of bacon on it. I'll censor the rest of the comment myself.

It was my last visit to the Donauwörther Mcs. I've almost accepted the fact that parts of the orders were always missing. It's great when you arrive home and you forgot to pack the burger. Or the fries, the day was pretty stupid when parts of the Happy Meal were missing. Unfortunately, it's almost normal and has been going on for years. But today I had enough. This time the Happymeal was forgotten again and was specially in the branch. I had to wait in line at the checkout again and order more. After about 45 minutes I had my order together. French fries were logically cold, I wanted them replaced and that was done. But the comment that the order was forgotten was my fault, was very cheeky. How is that supposed to work ? I ordered at the checkout? I've had enough, it's a waste of my money. There is also a fast food restaurant right next door. It's a shame I've always been a McDonald's fan.

Fast service but today something was forgotten for the third time in a row. Of course you should check, but if the two waiting places are full, you have 15 things in your bag and 8 cars are waiting for you, it's just not possible. Maybe it's because you can hardly find any employees who speak German well. It just pisses me off. Otherwise a completely normal Mac.

Personally I think BurgerKing is better but for a change I also visit McDonalds

We were there with 3 children (rainy weather). The play area (1st floor) was closed and despite repeated requests and at least 3 families with children present, the area was not allowed to be opened on the boss's instructions. Therefore not recommended with children. The service staff were very nice and helpful.

Perfect, ordered via app in the parking lot in front of MCDONALDS and the order was ready. It doesn't get any better. Tip Top!!

I actually really enjoy eating here, but unfortunately I had a bad experience today. Our ice cream was only half full which makes me wonder why I pay over €4 for it?! I find it really cheeky I also paid for extra Oreo. Which unfortunately I didn't get.

Great place to have dinner. Pretty busy when I was there. The food is the same as in all McDonald's restaurants. We will come back another time for sure. 👍

I don't know how many stars, I fluctuate between 3 and 2. It's ok. It's just loud. Twisted. A bit dingy, although quite new. It definitely depends on how busy there is and who is there. Usual McDonald's goods.

Waren dort beim Essen, bei meinem Big Mac war die obere Etage nicht mal fertig (2. Fleischscheibe hat gefehlt), hab dann einen neuen bekommen. Strohhalme hat uns die Bedienung auch nicht auf Anfrage dazu gereicht. Gibt nur noch welche für Milchshakes. Traurig traurig….

When I got home, less than a 3 minute drive, I realized that everything was totally cold and sloppy. Then I got angry there because I was so angry. Ist halt eine McDonald's Filiale, die aber sehr groß ist und sehr schnell das Essen zubereitet. Man muss zu den Mittagszeiten manchmal an den Bestellgeräten ein wenig anstehen aber das ist normal. Das Essen ist McDonald's Essen also nicht das beste auf der Welt aber trotzdem natürlich essbar. Vom Geschmack natürlich genau gleich wie in den anderen McDonald's Geschäften. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich aber sprechen teilweise kein Deutsch. Was aber nicht so schlimm da sie gut daran sind mit den Händen zu kommunizieren sind und sehr hilfreich sind, falls man wirklich mal ein Problem hat. Meistens ist diese Filiale gut besucht.

Eigentlich hätte ich mehr erwartet.
