McDonald's in Delbrück

The service has declined since the regular staff left. The food used to be better, and order processing times are now only mediocre.

Classic phrase: "I'd rather give zero stars." I'm not only extremely annoyed with this strange village of Delbrück, but the McDonald's here was a disaster. I waited 20 minutes, the food was lukewarm, the place was only moderately busy, then one burger was missing. When I asked about it, they said, "Oh, we forgot." After another 10 minutes, while my wife's and my food was already cold, I went back. Then they finally prepared it—completely messed up and lying in its packaging. Oddly enough, it was also cold then?! Makes no sense... Finally, I went to the restroom and wanted to throw the food out. It smelled worse than a main train station toilet that hadn't been cleaned in at least a year.

The food tastes as expected. The service is abysmal. When I ordered, the rösti was forgotten in the "Big Rösti" (it's incomprehensible how that could happen). The burger was immediately taken from my hand and placed out of my sight. "Excuse me, but can I still eat it?" they said. "Seriously, are you going to throw it away?" No apology, no goodbye, nothing. The replacement burger took almost 10 minutes. For whatever reason. The ambiance? Yeah, it looks like a modern McDonald's.

The service could be a bit better, especially regarding customer friendliness and particularly with children.

For the third time, when we're already home, we realize that half of our order is missing!!! Enjoy your meal!

The best McDonald's I've ever been to. The food is always delicious, communication is good if there's a slight delay or something similar, and they're reliable (nothing has ever been missing from the order or been wrong). The atmosphere is also very nice, with plenty of comfortable seating. In the summer, you can sit outside, and one of the ladies who often works the early shift is absolutely lovely and attentive. Highly recommended! And many thanks to the lady who always makes our mornings better. c:

I ordered a Hamburger Royal TS without sauce and with jalapenos and chili cheese sauce... what I got was a patty with cheese and my additional request... they left out everything else that goes on a Royal TS.

I've ordered so often and yet I'm so incapable of fulfilling an order completely. It can't be that I spend my money so often and someone always has to go without food because they can't manage to pack a simple order... ridiculous.

Everything is great here, but the food is outrageously expensive these days!

Unfortunately, many tables weren't clean, with fries on the floor and on the serving dishes. I pointed this out, but it was ignored, which is a shame. The environment was otherwise clean.

If you're not starving, don't go. We ate at 12:30 a.m. because it was the only place open in the whole city. The restaurant is dirty, stomach aches until the next day. The staff is unfriendly and rude. The burger we ordered wasn't the same as at other McDonald's.

Have fun and count your nuggets; there's always one missing (especially with the 20-pack). It's ridiculously simple. Worst McDonald's in the country...

They make big announcements about special offers and generally forget the sauces, whether for the fries or the nuggets, and it wasn't busy. 4 out of 6 workers were able to have a nice chat at the counter, which isn't a problem as long as you don't forget to order.

Unfortunately, the food was once again anything but good. It started with the order, and the display said the food was "Ready for Pickup." At the counter, you're then told that it's always displayed much too early and that they've only just started preparing it. After looking forward to fresh, warm food, I was in for a huge disappointment. The Big Tasty Bacon was cold, and what was even worse! I ordered two McShaker fries and two large French fries. But there was no sign of the McShaker fries. And no comment or anything about the fries being sold out. Well, the conclusion after the second chance: NEVER AGAIN!!!

For the third time in a row, I've retrieved something from the Mac drive. Not once was everything there. Every time, at least something was missing. I don't understand what's so difficult about this, since the service staff has to see everything individually. Simply ridiculous!!!!

For the second time, I ordered online and for pickup from McDonald's in Delbrück. Unfortunately, I only noticed at home today that my order wasn't complete. Previous orders were almost always missing something, too. If the staff isn't able to pack orders completely into one bag (especially when they're almost quiet, like today!), McDonald's should perhaps consider discontinuing online ordering. Unpacking the bags every time to check them isn't the point of online ordering!

I've been there twice and both times I was robbed. The food was cold, the sauce was missing. The fries were also messed up. You robbed us. The McFlurry was half full.

As a McDonald's fan, I have to say: everything is incredibly dirty and sticky. The burgers are slapped together without any care. This place needs urgent action!

The Mc's is very bad. There are two women there who insult other teenagers, calling them stupid children, and one man who scares other children. I saw a group of children being yelled at and belittled by two girls and one boy (the employees). That's completely unacceptable.

This McDonald's has lost all my respect. Today, my mother was yelled at, insulted, and ultimately kicked out by an employee because she complained that her order was wrong and she wanted it correct. Ultimately, my mother was kicked out and didn't even get her money or food back. We also went to the drive-thru at night once, and the woman was so disrespectful, you can't even imagine it. Never again in my entire life will I even step foot into this McDonald's. We probably won't file a complaint because we simply don't have the time or energy.

Got the wrong thing 3 times. They advertise Playmobil (which is why we're here with the kids), but there aren't any. There's no spoon or sugar for the coffee... I even had to ask for straws for the kids' drinks. Ordered ice cream 3 times, and one was wrong...

I was there for the first time today. The food was very good, as was the service. The seats and tables could have been cleaned more often, especially since it wasn't very busy. Now to the point where I wouldn't have given it a star. The women's restrooms were so filthy that you couldn't even use them. Something urgently needs to be done. Scooter rider? In Delbrück, you're apparently a second-class customer. I arrived at the drive-thru column first on my scooter, waited politely – nothing happened. Shortly after, a car came along in the other lane, and whoosh, it was served immediately. Me? I was completely ignored, as if I were air with two wheels. I had to drive up to the pay barrier before anyone even noticed me. No "sorry," no explanation – nothing. And that's despite the fact that, according to McDonald's regulations, scooters are motorized and therefore eligible for the drive-thru. If you're going to process customers like they're on an assembly line, then at least do it fairly and in order. This branch unfortunately screwed up for me. Next time I'm hungry, I'd rather drive a few kilometers further – somewhere where customers aren't judged by their vehicle type.

I have to say, I'm really annoyed. For the umpteenth time, something was forgotten in my order! I mean, you can overlook a burger that costs €2 or fries... but forgetting an €8 burger for a fairly small order is simply unbelievable. I'm starting to think the employees are doing this on purpose. I just can't think of any other explanation!

Whenever i crave ice cream i always decide to go to a McDonald's, but whenever i go to mcdonalds in Delbrück they always give me a small amount of ice cream even when i order a large portion of it. Today when i noticed that my large ice cream has a small portion inside the cup i showed the cashier lady and asked why there was so little inside. To which i got the answer "its supposed to be so little". Everytime i order ice cream in any other mcdonalds i always get a normal portion of ice cream. That ice cream, for which i had to pay €3 i decided to leave at that McDonald's. I dont understand why mcdonald decides to sell a so called "large" if whats inside is seemingly the same amount as a small. If i wanted a small, i would have ordered that instead. I will no longer be recommending mcdonalds in Delbrück to my family or friends. 👎👎👎👎👎

Ordered for delivery. Food arrived after about an hour. Positive: Nice driver. Negative: Some of the food was cold, one burger was missing. Okay, it happens sometimes. BUT: I called and said a burger was missing and was treated extremely rudely on the phone. They claimed the burger was wrapped and they were being taken for a fool (the burger must be in the bag, etc.). This way of treating customers is absolutely unacceptable, and that's why they lost me as a customer.

Everything was freshly prepared. We had to wait a bit because something wasn't quite right, but it was quickly resolved. Friendly staff, and the coffee was hot.

The kitchen isn't wearing gloves, the waiters often take orders incorrectly or forget them, and everything is cleared away. It's dirty outside, with long waits even when no one is inside. The staff don't follow hygiene regulations. They go outside to smoke cigarettes and then come back and make burgers without gloves. The ordering machines don't give you receipts. Not recommended!

A completely normal fast food joint. It's not that old, but it's probably not possible to deal with some of the garbage produced.

Very rarely is an order complete or correct - explicit requests for ice in drinks are consistently ignored. Ordering a burger with chicken, getting beef - but then without the sauce. Ordering McFlurry A, getting B - when you try to complain, you're rudely told: ice is ice, take it or leave it! I also find it very questionable to assign non-German-speaking staff to the drive-thru orders - that's unlikely to lead to proper orders. So these days we prefer to go to Paderborn when we want McDonald's again - unfortunately Delbrück isn't an option.

I can only agree with some of the people here. Orders are regularly missing something. They also regularly prepare the wrong thing. Waiting times are 20 minutes or more for two things, even when the store is empty. I haven't paid close attention, but it seems that some items are more expensive than in other branches. I'll keep an eye on it, Mr. Heiderich. You're currently in the process of modernizing your branches or building new ones. If this branch finally becomes like your others, everything would be significantly better, and there would be far fewer complaints.

The staff is unfriendly, disrespectful, and completely overwhelmed. The store looks like a pigsty. The employees don't respect the food and throw it on the counter. It took an hour for us to get our food. They're constantly out of certain products. I've been a customer at MC for 30 years, but I've never experienced anything like this. I don't think I'll eat at MC again. I hope none of the customers get sick.

Unfortunately, you can see the preparation counter directly, but the employees aren't wearing gloves or using tongs to prepare the hamburgers. The warning was simply ignored. It's very chaotically organized; first the number is ready for pickup, and then it's not. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience.

If you're used to getting a quick bite to eat and a drink at McDonald's, this isn't the place for you. It displays a message saying you can pick up your food, but it takes another eight minutes, and by that time the number has already disappeared from the display, leaving other people waiting to pick it up. Another thing that's great is that the windows are dirty, and the place doesn't give off a friendly impression either; it's all very cramped. You can't keep up with the people in the kitchen.

Service was only very quick in the drive-in despite there being a lot of cars. Staff was friendly too. Food was fresh and hot.

Whenever we were there and took something to take away, we always found that something was forgotten. Please train the employees to pack the entire order. It can't be that it happens every time.

Dear McDonald’s team, It is truly remarkable how consistently your branch has perfected the “service desert” concept. The fact that you have to beg for a few simple napkins while greasy food is served is deeply insightful - hygiene seems to be an optional extra for you. The highlight, however, was that the store was simply locked a good 30 minutes before the official closing time - customer friendliness seems to mean that you leave work on time. If you're going to be disappointed, at least be thoroughly disappointed. Thanks for this memorable experience - we now know where we won't eat in the future.

Extremely long waiting time, we just wanted a coffee and unfortunately we waited almost 15 minutes. None of the employees spoke to us... they only gave out food that was ordered at the terminal. Since I just wanted a coffee and actually wanted to pay for it with real money, I wouldn't even be noticed. I then had no choice but to order at the terminal. And then I would have to ask if I could pay for it. ... Everyone seemed stressed. Although the right was newly built, I found the outside area quite dingy, i.e. the paving and crumbs and paper residue all over the place... What a shame 😞

This is one of the worst MCD in the entire OWL district! They advertised Minecraft in the Happy Meal, were there with the children, and they put Lottie carrots in the Happy Meal. When I asked my colleague, who couldn't understand me because of his lack of language skills, I accepted the matter. Then something was forgotten from my order. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Bad service, always seem to forget something, and the employees are totally unfriendly.

I really love this McDonald's! The atmosphere is pleasant and unpretentious, the staff is friendly and courteous without seeming overly pretentious. The employees seem satisfied, which has a positive effect on the entire experience. The food was as you would expect from McDonald's: tasty and reliable with the usual quality. I particularly like the option of charging the car during your stay, a real plus! The location is good and the restaurant is easy to get to. A small point of criticism is the exit to the main road; a mirror would be really helpful here to improve the view. Apart from that, I would love to come back

Everything just takes too long compared to other MC branches. When you drive through mc drive you should check everything. Often there are incorrect products in there or missing products that have been ordered but paid for. The staff could be a bit friendlier.

Another branch that, like many of the fast food chain McDonald's, cannot be recommended. There is no regulated distribution of work where everyone has their own tasks so that you can get your food quickly, as you would expect from a fast food restaurant, after all that is the only reason you are here. Employees stand around on their cell phones and serve customers as they please. Very often I have experienced things going haywire in the store, incorrect orders being issued or something from the order simply being forgotten. The shop doesn't look inviting and tidy, so you don't want to come here to eat. The prices and quality of the food are no longer good either, although the latter has never been particularly good, you don't stay full for long and for what you get for the money, you can go somewhere else for a healthy and tasty meal with the family. Unfortunately, this is everyday life at McDonald's and other people who have eaten here also report something similar.

Yes, very clean. There were flowers on the tables, the floor was being cleaned, the employee asked if she could clear up and if it would taste good. Burger was perfect. I can highly recommend Mc Donalds on the B64. It had never been so good.

Just disappointed. My son chose 2 happy meals just because of the POKEMON cards. He was disappointed to see that a package had already been opened. Everything was simply stuffed back and closed. Really disappointing.

This McDonald's is absolutely not recommended. The only good thing is the charging stations in front of the door. The staff is unfriendly and didn't invent work. There were four of us who ate here and each of us had something missing or wrong. When we complained we were first ignored and then treated rudely. The conversations among the staff were more important than the concerns of the customers. One star is still too many here.

So I think the people who work there are completely overwhelmed. Some of them don't speak German or English. And every time McDrive goes, part of the order is missing. The people who work there should be better trained. There's nothing you can do about it. If you eat inside then everything is fine, but the McDrive is a complete disaster.

Absolutely “ROTZ” store. First of all we waited an extremely long time even though we didn't have much and were next in line. Then half of it was forgotten. This is by far the best McDonalds! Beautifully and modernly furnished, the staff is very quick, attentive and friendly. The food is very good and the atmosphere is really calm and relaxed. The environment is clean and reasonable.Great!

Fries were lukewarm and in the deep fryer for far too long (were dark and hard). There was no chocolate flavor in the chocolate milkshake, it was completely white - this was complained about. An employee brought another chocolate milkshake, saw that it was also white and claimed this was normal. Finally, the staff from the kitchen rudely called out that all we had to do was stir it... we did that, there was no taste in either shake! I have no idea what's going on there, but being a customer like that doesn't work. Worst McDonald's! We won't be coming back!

The employees are overwhelmed and unfriendly. Every time you are there something is forgotten. If you accidentally drop trash on a customer's feet, it is left there and you go to get another trash bag from the second station. There were 7 customers in front of the checkout. 4 employees stood behind the counter and didn't look at you with a**. If they make a mistake only atrogantrs behavior comes. I don't know why, but this McDonald's is totally forgettable. Ordered online via Lieferando. 1 hour late and every time you call you hear something different about why the food isn't there yet. The McDonald's restaurant itself is beautifully done, but unfortunately you can really forget the rest here. Order via Lieferando?? Definitely never again! I'm excited when the food will arrive...
