McDonald's in Datteln

Eine der schlechtesten McDonalds Filialen, die ich je besucht habe. Wo soll man da anfangen mit der Kritik ... ?! Egal ob zum Mitnehmen oder dort essen ... Beides absolut schlecht und nicht zu empfehlen. Sauberkeit: Die Tische und Stühle sind ziemlich schmutzig, klebrig und fettig. Auch nach dem Wischen immer noch so ... Das gleiche gilt auch für die Touch-Screens zum Bestellen, wenn Sie mal funktionieren. Auf dem Parkplatz sieht man, wie ein Mitarbeiter Müll aufsammelt oder die Mülltonnen entleert ohne unbedingt auf die Hygiene zu achten und ohne eine Schutzkleidung. Danach geht diese Person dann auch so wieder in die Filiale rein zum Arbeiten ... Mmmhhh lecker 🤢 Wenn man auf den Parkplatz fährt, kommt auch ein strenger Geruch von Müll-Container ... das bewirkt alles andere als Hungergefühle ... Wartezeit: Man wartet ewig auf das bestellte Essen ... egal ob drinnen oder im Drive-In. Essen: Leider teilweise ohne Motivation alles zusammengeklatscht ... Sieht nicht so aus wie in der Werbung oder auf den Bildern! Wie heißt es ... Das Auge isst mit ... Hier aber nicht. Dazu kommt, dass vieles nicht mehr warm ist weil man so lange wartet. Ich persönlich esse dort mit Familie und Freunden gar nicht mehr ... Auch ein Eis oder Kaffee / Getränke kommen nicht mehr in Frage. Empfehlen kann ich es auch nicht bei diesen Bedingungen ...

Top viel besser und netter als die in castrop. Sogar klimatisiert essen war lecker.

35 min gewartet, musten nachfragen. Keine Servieten, Die Mahlzeit kalt und nicht komplett. Personal total überfordert, wie das Bild zeigt. 45min lang wird nicht gewischt.

Im großen und ganzen kann nicht das ganze Restaurant schlecht geredet werden. In dieser Rezension geht es viel mehr um die individuellen Mitarbeiter. Während manche freundlichen, nett und hilfsbereit sind, gibt es anscheinend auch Personen im Personalkreis die nur auf die richtige Gelegenheit warten um Kunden auf erniedrigende Art und Weise auf ihre Fehler hinzuweisen. Das ist respektlos und sollte keinen Platz finden, in einem Restaurant das Lifestyle und Gastfreundlichkeit publiziert. Möglicherweise liegt es an den strapazierenden Temperaturen und ich habe auch größten Respekt vor jedem der dennoch bereit ist seinen Teil zu leisten, jedoch sollte und darf dies nicht der Grund sein Gäste abwertend zu behandeln. In diesem Sinne gelobe ich den besseren Umgang miteinander, sowohl von Personalseite- als auch (insbesondere) von Kundenseite.

Zum Teil sehr unhöfliches Personal. Kunden können nichts dafür, wenn Angestellte bei heißen Temperaturen arbeiten müssen. Das müssen andere auch. Wenn ich in meinem Job so unhöflich zum Kunden wäre, dürfte ich sofort gehen

Die Chefin, welche heute am 11.6. da war ist eine absolute Ehrenfrau. Danke für den Becher :) Sie hat nh Gehaltserhöhung für Ihre Sympathie und Kundenfreundlichkeit verdient !!!

Ist wie fast jedes mc finde Preise etwas überzogen

Wir sind mit der ganzen Familie am 8.06.2026 in der Nacht um 00.30 in die Filiale gekommen und im Laden waren kaum Kunden. Da die meisten Sitze gefettet und schmutzig waren haben wir an einem Sauberen Sitzbereich sitzen wollen. Der Mitarbeiter, ein ca. 1.85 m langer Inder, hat angefangen rum zu meckern weil wir uns an dem gesäuberten sitzen setzen wollten. Daraufhin sprach ich ihn an das die Sitze verdreckt sind wo er uns hingewiesen hat, er wurde lauter und frecher. Danit wir einen Streit vermeiden haben wir uns anders gesetzt. Dann servieren die auch noch eiskalte Pommes. Unterste Schublade dieser Filiale. Kann ich nur abraten

Automat am Eingang kaputt, der hintere Teil vom Automat ging nur mit "an der Theke bezahlen", an der Theke standen wir 20 minuten um zu bezahlen zu können. Das Essen kam nach weiteren 30 Minuten und dann fehlte die Hälfte der Bestellung, die Mitarbeiterin lief noch 3 mal hin und her um uns alles zu bringen. Es kam alles in Tüten weil die Tabletts alle waren? Alle Tische waren dreckig. Bei den 20 Minuten konnte man die Organisation der Mitarbeiter*innen hinter der Theke gut beobachten, kein wunder das das nichts wurde....

Wann ist aus Ronald McDonald ein depremierter langweiliger Buchhalter geworden? Das trifft den Gesamteindruck am besten. Der Burger war relativ lieblos zusammen gezimmert. Gehört der Salat nicht auf den Burger und nicht darunter? Alles in allem enttäuschend.

Bestellung am Bildschirmterminal: einzig der Laden profitiert. Lieferung zum Tisch: OK. Sauberkeit der Tische: dick mit Essensresten beschmiert. Man kann sich nur ekeln. Mitarbeiter laufen zwischen den Tischen, um Kunden das Essen abzutragen. Keiner kommt auf den Gedanken, mal einen Tisch abzuwischen. Nie wieder!

Also wenn ich im Mac Drive länger warten muss als beim Bestellen im Innenbereich stimmt am Konzept was nicht und das in Datteln schon seit vielen Jahren fast bei jeder Bestellung fehlt ein Produkt....das franchise sollte mal überdacht werden zumindest in diesem Restaurant

Halbe Stunde Wartezeit auf 2 Happy Meal, dann das Essen fast kalt. Der Laden sehr dreckig, die Fensterbank voller toter Insekten. Trotz Tischservice musste das Essen selbst abgeholt werden. Zwei von vier Terminals defekt,nur an einem Kartenzahlung möglich. Toiletten auch nur eine von zwei nutzbar.

Die Mitarbeiter geben sich wirklich Mühe. Sauber und bisher immer richtige Bestellung erhalten

Wir haben nur für 2 Mcflurry's HALBE STUNDE gewartet.

War ganz okay nichts besonderes, halt ein normaler McDonald’s.

😡4-5 Bestellungen unvollständig und dann noch diskutierei um fehlende Produkte!! Schon beim reingehen sieht man den Leuten vom Personal an "Ich hab kein bock".

Muss mich korrigieren, weil Gläser nur noch bei Coupons, wo ich ja weniger bezahle als im Mc Menü, aber zum regulären menü kein Glas bekomme. Das war mein letzter Besuch ich fahre dann lieber zur Konkurrenz, schmeckt eh besser!!

Dieses Konstrukt ist selbst für die McDonalds Verhältnisse bemerkenswert schlecht. Burger: Philly cheese stac, sauce kaum vorhanden, lauwarm; double beef Classi, ebenfalls kaum sauce vorhanden und lauwarm. Die pommes waren ok. Wir haben vor Ort gegessen. Restaurant sehr dreckig.

Ein Stern Abzug beim Ambiente, die Tischen werden zu selten geputzt und es ist immer sehr laut dort.

Sind in den DriveIn. Über 20 min. gewartet. Als ich ein HappyMeal bestellt habe, habe ich nochmal EXTRA gesagt, welches Spielzeug rein soll. Mir wurde es bestätigt, dass es noch vorrätig ist und rein getan wird. Spoiler: Es war natürlich das falsche drinnen. Wenn es zu schwer ist das richtige rein zutun, dann solltet ihr die Spielzeuge nicht zur „Auswahl“ ausstellen. Zudem habe ich nochmals 2 extra Saucen bestellt. Tja, sie waren ebenfalls nicht drinnen. Jedesmal wird mind. eine Sache vergessen. Sorry aber ich fahre nicht in einen DriveIn, um entweder nochmal 30 min. in der Schlange warten zu müssen, oder extra nochmal rein gehen zu müssen. Ich würde ja gerne direkt kontrollieren, aber man wird von den Mitarbeitern entweder ganz weit nach vorne zum warten geschickt oder man wird direkt verscheucht zum weiterfahren. Da fahr ich lieber, auch wenn es etwas weiter ist, nach Castrop…

Schlechtester mcs in dem wir waren! 40 min gewartet auf eine kleine Bestellung. In der zeit beobachten dürfen wie andere vorgezogen wurden und wir komplett ignoriert wurden!! Nach 40 min angesprochen worden was denn die Bestellung überhaupt war und das sie dies vergessen habe, dies ist schon zum 2. mal passiert!!! Das Eis war halb aufgetaut und sah aus wie "reingeklatscht". Das Burgerpatty liegt neben dem Burgerbrot.

Keine 4 Wochen her und schon wieder, heute fehlen 1 von 4 Artikel. Nur 4 Artikel, wie kann man da was vergessen. Diesmal ist eine Beschwerde eingereicht mal sehen ob da was passiert.

Das Personal ist total unhöflich wenn man sie auf ihre Fehler aufmerksam macht werden sie respektlos und man bekommt kaltes Essen oder überhaupt nicht das was man bestellt hat

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 Sterne geben! Das Personal ist total unfreundlich ! Wir haben etwas bestellt und ein Burger für 5 Euro wurde einfach vergessen !! Nachdem wir es angemerkt haben wurde gesagt wir würden lügen! Das Essen war kalt der Käse auf den anderen Burgern wurde einfach kalt draufgelegt ! Mehrere Sachen waren falsch und es war einfach nicht toll. Danke für Nix !!!

Bei unserem Besuch war in der Filiale ein chemischer Gestank vorhanden. Wir mussten uns nach draußen setzen, wo es wegen der viel befahrenen Straße auch nicht wirklich schön ist. Auf dem Damen-WC ist ein WC defekt (Wasser lief permanent), bei dem anderen kann man die Tür nicht schließen! Der Boden KLEBT!

Hatten dort Burger mit Tischservice bestellt, und nachdem die Burger angekommen waren, habe ich reklamiert, weil dieser kalt war. Ich habe einen neuen Burger bekommen, der aussah, als ob man darauf getreten hätte. Zudem war der Mitarbeiter, der uns das zum Tisch gebracht hatte, total unhöflich.

Waren im Drive In. Essen warm, fast heiß und lecker. Der Erdbeermilkshake kann ein bisschen mehr nach Erdbeere schmecken, aber ansonsten fürn kleinen Hunger ganz okay.

Kalten Burger bekommen, habe es angesprochen, nach langer Diskussion habe ich gesagt, dass sie den Burger lieber wegschmeißen sollen.

Was kann man zu McDonald's schon sagen

Das Essen war nicht das Problem . Ich habe aus dem Fenster geguckt und da ist mal so eben ganz entspannt eine Ratte vorbeigegangen und das mehrmals ! So als wär die den Ort gewohnt . Ich mit Rattenphobie musste mich übergeben und werde nie wieder dahin gehen .

Burger Big Gouda ohne Patty, Pommes trocken, kaum gewürzt, Cola ohne Kohlensäure. Vielleicht sollten die Angestellten nochmal geschult werden. Schade

Dreckig, kalt, mieses Essen Leider muss ich mich vielen meiner Vorrezensenten anschließen. Das ist mit Abstand der schlechteste McD, den ich kenne - sogar noch schlechter als der am Dortmunder Bahnhof. Wir waren am 18.1.26 dort und waren, ehrlich gesagt, geschockt. Der Ärger begann schon am Bestelldisplay. Dieses war offensichtlich defekt und ist daher kaum lesbar. Schwamm drüber, kann passieren. Allerdings "glänzte" das Lokal dann mit zerrissenen Sitzen (hinten vom Eingang rechts in der Ecke), schmierigen Tischen, einem schmutzigen Fußboden und teilweise unbebnutzbaren Sitzbänken. "Sauberkeit ist eine Zier, doch weiter kommt man ohne ihr". Zwischenfazit: wohl dem, der Hygienetücher dabei hat. Der Hammer war allerdings, dass es wirklich saukalt ist. Die Mitarbeiter hatten einen Heizstrahler aufgestellt, um überhaupt so etwas wie die Illusion von Wärme zu vermitteln. Offenbar ist die Heizung also bekanntermaßen nicht in Ordnung. Kommen wir damit zum Essen: Kalte Pommes, ein lauwarmer Burger, viel zu helle Nuggets, meine Burgerverpackung war kaputt, der Veggie sah aus, als wäre er hingefallen. In einem Satz: Eine reife Leistung. Lieber Franchisenehmer: wenn man keinen Bock darauf hat, ein Lokal ordentlich zu führen, lässt man es besser. Von uns gibt es als Dank einen Beschwerdebrief an die Zentrale. So etwas geht gar nicht!

Ja was soll man großartig sagen, man hat nen Schoko Shake bestellt und es kam ein Kaffe Shake an als man dann nach vorne gegangen ist hat man mit gesagt das man angeblich überhaupt kein Kaffe Shake verkaufe und deshalb gibt's nur 2 Sterne.

İch muss euch doch am Telefon verstehen oder? Erstens habt ihr seit über 10 Jahren ein problem mit eurem Netz, zweitens sprechen einige richtig schlecht Deutsch. 4 Happy Meals viermal mit dem falschen und selben Spielzeug zu beschmücken ist ne andere Frechheit und das obwohl ich gefragt hatte ob es vorrätig ist.

Unfortunately, the staff at the McDonald's drive-thru were very unfriendly. :( I asked if I could have a balloon (they were on the counter), but they immediately said no. Why? It's a real shame, just a balloon... Then we had to park on the other side of the street to wait for our order! Just awful...

The staff are nice and friendly. Unfortunately, the restrooms leave much to be desired: they are unhygienic, some are very dirty, and several toilet seats are broken. There is also an unpleasant odor. Air freshener or generally better cleaning would be desirable.

Once in a long time, and definitely never again: Dirty tables. Cold food. The toilet smelled like a porta-potty; one step in and twice as fast out! The whole place was freezing!

I am very disappointed with the service at this McDonald's. I get a McFlurry with Hanuta there almost every day. On one occasion, a male employee prepared it for me with very short-cut sides – and even with double the Hanuta. When I tried to order it again later, they suddenly acted as if it had never happened, apparently because other customers had witnessed it. The employee in question was easily identifiable when taking my order, as he had very short-cut sides and was wearing headphones. His demeanor was unprofessional. I was shouted at in front of other customers and treated aggressively, disrespectfully, and insultingly. Such behavior towards paying customers is absolutely unacceptable and in no way meets the standards one should expect from McDonald's. On my most recent visit, I again ordered a McFlurry with Hanuta. This time, it contained hardly any Hanuta, and again, I was treated very rudely. This seemed deliberate and not accidental. Should such behavior occur again, I will be forced to contact management directly. Furthermore, I will document my orders in the future to have proof if necessary. That was definitely my last visit to this branch. Absolutely not recommended.

With one exception, the staff is beyond rude. And it takes an astonishingly long time for "fast food" here. If I could cook for myself, I would never set foot in that place again.

Well, where do I even begin... as soon as I walked in, I knew I'd better keep my jacket on. Heating? Forget about it... anyway, on to ordering. The usual routine at the terminal... and after ordering, the chaos began. Keep in mind that only about 10 people had ordered, and there were only about 6 employees in the kitchen. My order included two Happy Meals and one McDonald's meal. After 20 minutes, I asked when I could expect my food. Apparently, they'd forgotten. Everything was quickly packed up, and as expected, if a burger sits in the display case for 20 minutes, it's highly likely to be cold... and that's exactly what happened. So I complained and got a funny look... well, one experience gained. Never again... maybe they were just having a bad day. So many questions...

What a dump! The McFlurry wasn't even half full, and when we complained, the cashier gave us a hard time. Just before that, apparently, a colleague of his had been there with an ice cream order, and lo and behold, those cups were overflowing. How is that even possible? Not to mention that we had to wait almost 20 minutes for five McFlurries with only two people ahead of us... It would be nice to get a statement from the branch... Strangely enough, it works perfectly fine at other locations.

It's always surprising how differently the various franchisees present themselves. It was moderately busy, yet the staff seemed rushed, the floor was slippery with grease, the burgers were lukewarm, and the ice cream was carelessly squashed together. There was a lot of trash lying around outside.

The place was cold. The food was also cold or lukewarm. The worst part is that the toilet smells so strongly of urine that the stench permeates the seating area. Ugh, never again!

An employee just bit my cookie. Disgusting! I can definitely do without that.

Friendly staff and the food was as expected

This is by far the most unfriendly staff I have ever met… You're better off going to Recklinghausen.

We were stuck at the McDrive in Datteln for over half an hour, unable to move forward or backward. The staff was very unfriendly and didn't seem competent. When we went inside to ask, we encountered two employees who were busy with each other and answered us rudely instead of showing understanding or apologizing. Another customer also told us that this poor service has been a known problem there for weeks, as the team often seems unreliable, unfriendly, and slow. Overall, a very disappointing visit.

Soggy fries, cold Big Mac, and the McRip with two halved pieces of meat drowned in sauce. I haven't been this disappointed in a long time.

Unfriendly service; the ordered items were not brought. Sprite and Coke tasted like water. No alternative drinks were offered.

Things were lively again, which was nice. But it seems to be a problem at this branch; the staff can't handle stress, and the customers really notice it. No one had time to help at the self-service kiosks either. It's really sad.

Unfortunately, at this McDonald's, it's not possible for multiple people to order at the drive-thru simultaneously. The employees seem overwhelmed trying to enter multiple pre-paid mobile orders using codes at the counter. I was even asked to drive around the building again so the next code could be entered. This is unnecessarily complicated – they could simply enter the orders directly. In addition, a colleague who had paid for his order via PayPal was suddenly asked to pay extra at the counter because the discount from the app supposedly couldn't be found in the system. In short: Very disorganized and customer-unfriendly. At Burger King, processing two mobile orders took less than 20 seconds – they handle it much better.

The worst McDonald's I've had in years. The fries were soggy. There were only 3 Käsespätzle instead of 5. The cold temperature made it very uncomfortable. An employee was walking around the restaurant with a rag, but the tables were dirty. And that was despite there only being 3 customers and plenty of time.

For a McDonald's, it's actually quite okay 😉

I've stood in the McDonald's drive-thru for 20-25 minutes several times (at different times of day)... It used to be much better and, above all, FASTER.

It's like an Indian street food restaurant in the suburbs. It's worth recommending. Its atmosphere is unique. Ordering a delicious McFlurry took 30 minutes, even after asking. For me, 30 minutes is really short for an ice cream (the picture shows our missing ice cream). You should know.

The employees in this branch are beyond rude

It's sufficient for a quick bite between meals. However, other branches are much better organized, and the food tastes better elsewhere. You always have to wait a long time here. The burgers are simply thrown together, and you have to assemble them yourself before eating them. The employees are only partially motivated and friendly.

Pre-ordered for breakfast on Sunday. Arrived at 10:30 sharp, and the order had to be canceled! Drove all the way for nothing!

This McDonald's is a disaster. You have to wait forever, even for a small meal. Then you're asked to wait at the counter next to a grassy area. But you do get your drink and ice, which, of course, has melted by the time you get your food. I hope management gets involved. Especially regarding the time fraud at the drive-thru counter. I've never seen such an uncoordinated McDonald's in all of Germany.

I only had one ice cream, which was delicious. But the restrooms and the restaurant were clean and tidy.

Employees yell at you and treat you with total rudeness. On top of that, 250 of our points were redeemed, but we didn't receive the product.

Is it actually a prerequisite for employment at McDonald's Germany to not be able to listen!? I ordered a burger without bread, which is pretty simple, really. What came out? A cold flatbread with bread 🙄😒 I'd rather make fresh burgers at home in the morning and eat them in the evening; it's still better than at McDonald's! -1☆

I don't know if they employ people who can't read, but with an order of more than €100, you expect everything you ordered to be there! 😠As I noticed, almost half of it is missing. It's such a mess, it's getting outrageous. 😠

Waited over 10 minutes at McDrive.

The lady with the short blonde hair shouldn't be allowed to harass customers or colleagues. I've rarely experienced such unfriendly, unmotivated, and rude behavior. Then they send her far away from the drive-thru, even though there are only two cars there, to yell at the colleague with a migrant background and send her out through the rain. That immediately puts you out of your appetite. I'd rather drive to other branches in the area.

If I want my burger petti individually I'll tell you and make an effort with the toppings my burger fell apart next time Burger King

Hectic, uncomfortable, loud, the food may be of good quality, but visually... If there were a championship for making meals look unappetizing, this restaurant would certainly have no problem honoring its title year after year.

We just went to McDonald's with our child for the first time. Generally, the staff seemed rather semi-motivated. However, one slightly older employee with short blonde hair stood out in particular. I understand the stress of everyday work, but yelling at older customers just because they don't hear the number being called, so that they leave the store in shame, is absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. Especially since children see and hear this too. I wish I could have filmed the whole thing, I'm so shocked... Furthermore, she loudly declared that she was "done" and (to put it politely) threw a cardboard cup holder through the pickup counter. Witnessing this from the side was very unpleasant. This kind of behavior is the worst. In my opinion, this employee should urgently be reassigned to a non-customer-facing area.

Our entire order was wrong, the Royal TS was ice cold, but they exchanged it. The store manager was very rude. He took my receipt, left me standing there without a word, and ordered a new meal. Everything was very chaotic, but you still expect a brief apology and an explanation of what's going on. Next time we'd rather go to Recklinghausen...

Unfortunately very unfriendly and not clean

Despite the many negative reviews, I would like to highlight one employee. A young lady with long hair and light blue eyes. No matter when I'm there, she's always very friendly, hardworking, and even during stressful times, she seems to keep her cool and never loses her smile. It just has to be said. Thank you for still having such motivated employees. The one with the cute little dog

Nice staff, but the burgers are no longer made with the love they used to.

It's incredibly dirty inside and out. The staff doesn't want to work and has absolutely no respect for the customers. If you ever get your order completely informed, it's only because the intern wants to make a good impression. So sorry, but every McDonald's at a main train station looks better and does a better job. Never again to Datteln.

1 star is still too much!! Our daughter once wanted to drive through the McDonald's drive-thru in "her car"... The end result was a crying child unable to order anything! She was rudely told on the intercom by the "Employee of the Month" and told to order inside! He even came out to send her away! How can anyone be so rude??? Unbelievable!! Isn't that a car? She was so looking forward to this experience! Her father was standing 5 meters away and filming her. That was supposed to be a nice video for YouTube... now it's a huge disappointment for our daughter and a deterrent video for YouTube! Thank you for the realization that this was the last time she visited this branch! Word will get around... I promise!!

I've never experienced an hour in the drive-thru at a McDonald's before. Unbelievable.

I was there today, and the customer (a woman with short blonde hair) at the window was incredibly unfriendly. She asked us, "Card?" We clearly replied, "Yes." Then she stood there, pissed off, and stared at us, asking again, "Cash or card?" We repeated ourselves three times, "Yes, card." She then rudely replied, "Oh my God, then you have to say so." Then she sent us to the front to wait, in a very unfriendly and antisocial tone.

In the three years I've lived in Datteln, nothing has changed! The wait times at the McDrive are far too long and are probably exaggerated internally because you're always told to drive a bit and then wait there for your food. I've never experienced anything like that before. After you get your food, you're told "everything's fine," but unfortunately, nothing is right, and half the food is missing.

Something's always missing, this time the sauce. The fries are only half full. Once again, there's an annoyed and unfriendly employee at the counter. If you can't handle customers, you should change jobs! Either replace your unqualified staff or close the place.
