McDonald's dates have become really bad both in terms of food and service. If you still eat at McDonald's, it's your own fault

Heating is off. The store is ice cold and even the employees walk around with jackets on. The ice cream had frozen water in the yogurt and the employees are rude

With such a turnover, it is an outrage not to heat the premises. It feels like -10 degrees in the store. You're really ashamed that there are so many children there. This review only applies to the ambience as I haven't experienced anything else yet.

Unfortunately, my last experience at this branch was absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful. First I wanted to place an order at the machine. This was one burger each Offer, a portion of nuggets by paying for my points in the app and a “regular” burger. The order couldn't be completed at the machine, so I went to the counter. A gentleman served me there and scanned my shopping cart code from the app. However, I could see from the screen that two packets of nuggets were mistakenly captured. Furthermore, the second, “regular” burger was missing. I explained the situation to the gentleman, but communication proved difficult due to a language barrier. Because of the queue behind me, I asked the cashier to delete the entry so that I could re-enter the order into my app at my leisure and then get back in line. However, he “cashed” the order instead of simply deleting the entry, wrote something on the receipt and 1200 points were incorrectly deducted from me, even though I 1) neither requested the goods, 2) did not pay for them and 3) did not receive them. When I went to the counter again with the correct order, payment using the points system was no longer possible because the previous "order" was considered processed in the database and I was deducted 2x 600 points for ChickenMcNuggets. I was also no longer able to redeem the offer burger because this was only possible once. But that's just the smallest problem with the entire situation. The employee's behavior was more problematic: When I asked whether the points would be credited back to me and what to do now, he only gave me incomprehensible and curt answers. He said in a curt manner that I would get the points refunded, but couldn't say when. When I asked how I could now get the burger on offer, he also told me that this was no longer possible. In fact, he started to be very unfriendly and blamed me for saying that I should have simply completed the order at the machine, even though I only visited the counter because this was not possible. I had already explained this to him at the beginning. The situation gradually got worse and I asked to speak to the shift manager in the hope that he would find a solution to this problem. The gentleman rudely informed me that he was the shift manager and continued to discuss. During the dispute, a young, blonde employee came to us and politely asked me what exactly I had ordered. She typed in the order and enabled me to receive the products in a very short time, without any further problems, in an absolutely friendly and customer-oriented manner. Kudos to this lady! However, the unfriendly and condescending behavior of this employee was absolutely unacceptable, which is why I will definitely not visit this branch again in the future. I spent around 30 minutes in this branch and had to discuss things for around 20 minutes. Last but not least: The points were of course not initially credited. For this I had to contact customer service in Munich.

Extremely unfriendly employee on the drive in January 16, 2025. He can't manage to enter the coupon code and then keeps shouting at us that we're taking too long and that he won't take our order. Then he deletes our order and tells us to come in now, even though we were already at the payment counter. I've never really experienced anything like that before, dealing with customers like that. The gentleman should be terminated immediately.

Disgusting, burnt, cold hamburgers, zero hygiene, staff very unfriendly, like the slumdog in India prepares food. Worse than the Burger King SCANDAL. The health department should carry out an inspection.

Nevertheless, I remained polite and asked again the reason for the unnecessary travel back and forth. The answer was immediately incomprehensible. Amazingly, adding the 3 cheeseburgers into the system – including payment – ​​took just 10 seconds. So why the unnecessary travel back and forth was required remains a mystery to me. When I wanted to speak to the shift manager, I was told in an aggressive tone that the employee was the “boss” himself. He rudely leaned towards my car and was obviously trying to intimidate me. With children in the car, I stayed calm, paid and was still harassed. The entire situation was characterized by disrespect, unprofessional behavior and a worrying lack of hygiene standards. McDonald's should urgently work on training its employees and adhering to hygiene regulations. One star is actually too many for this visit. I will avoid this location in the future.

In terms of incompetence you can no longer beat it.

At the drive-in, the employees always reach their limits because A) they can hardly serve many drive-in drivers, B) they do not instruct car drivers about keeping the drive-in lane clear. C) become rude to customers with an order value of 5 euros, since they could serve customers with an order value of 100 euros. Be sure to train staff or lay them off.

If you have to wait more than 15 minutes at the drive-in counter when there is only one car in front of you, there is something wrong with the organization. The fact that the employee hardly speaks or understands German does not speed up the ordering process.

How you can get almost everything wrong with two orders is somehow a mystery to me. Because actually, yes, you just have to be able to read it. At least it was warm in there. It feels like McCafé is better anywhere else than here. Ordered an extra portion of whipped cream, I got a coffee creamer... Well, it wasn't about the money, but it's annoying.

Very long waiting time at MC Drive

I ordered 2 chicken burgers using a coupon at 12:45 a.m. about 4 weeks ago. I heard the first sneeze but completed the order. After paying I waited for the burgers and I heard two sneezes again, very strong and that liquid was secreted. This is unacceptable to me when handling food, so I canceled the order and wanted my money back. The guy with the headphones then made fun of me and called his boss. Someone who was cleaning came out and asked me in his southern way if I had a problem and wrung out his cleaning rag so that it splattered my vehicle. The boss was then the most aggressive and played it down, called me directly and didn't want to accept it. When he pointed out that no one should work in the catering sector like that, he became really rude and said I should stay at home if I don't like that sort of thing. The other two laughed at me. I still got my money back, but this disrespectful manner is an absolute no-go! All 3 had a migrant background and behaved accordingly. McDonalds itself described the problem, but they weren't interested and never got an answer.

Everything here is okay so far, but in order to eat here you need a winter jacket. The air conditioning feels like it's at full power at 10 degrees. You don't even know where to sit so that it's halfway comfortable.

Once again the worst McDonald's in Germany did not disappoint me. The customer in front of me had to come back to complain about his food. This is the 2nd time out of the last 3 visits. When we briefly exchanged two words with each other, we were told not to speak and the other customer was expelled from the premises. The MCRip sauce also seems to be made of gold...as sparingly as it is used. I don't think any of the operators have ever eaten anything there.

Instead of shaken fries, just normal ones. The display shows it is ready for collection and you then have to wait another 10 minutes. It's probably a stitch there to embellish the numbers. Doesn't work at all.

Placed an order at the machine today. Take away. 2x20 chicken nuggets, 2 hamburgers, 2 cola, 1 "the M" burger and 7 sauces. Went home, unpacked and discovered that all the sauces and the €8 burger were missing. Very annoying and expensive. We were there for the last time!!! 0 stars and 5 extra deduction!

Where should I start? 1. Ordered from the machine with table service for a birthday for 7 people. But table service didn't work. Three salespeople then started talking loudly (apparently about me) in a language I don't speak. All right. The unfriendly gentleman happened to have net potatoes from another order in front of him, put one that had fallen out very roughly back into the bag (without gloves etc) and held it out to me in a very unfriendly manner. He always held out his order receipt to me and I didn't care. There were 2x on my receipt. Many will now say that you shouldn't act like that. But I would like to have all the goods that I have already paid for in advance. 3. Children naturally turn to food first. That it is not immediately noticeable that there is no drinking. So after a few minutes I went back to the counter. Notified that a sprite is missing. Again the three employees discussed loudly in a language I couldn't understand. Answer in German: “ne kleine ne?” Of course I said, yes a 0.5. Then I got that too. What can I, or the children, do to ensure that these employees are not able to process an order correctly? 4. When we left, one of the children really wanted a lid for the drink because he couldn't finish the drink. Child went to the counter himself and politely asked if he could have a lid. I ordered cold hamburgers to take away

I didn't get my points after placing my order

I was just there with a friend and only ordered drinks. One iced tea, two waters and two milkshakes. I pre-ordered this in the app. After standing still in the drive-in for 30 minutes, we were told that the drive-in wasn't working and we had to go in. Once I was inside, I showed my order code and had to wait another 20 minutes for the order even though it was only drinks and the whole place was pretty empty. When I went to pick up the order, a water was missing and one of the milkshakes was the wrong one. Completely incompetent service and relatively unfriendly.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars for this dirty shop and the unfriendly, incompetent staff. I didn't receive my order at all because the staff was too incompetent to take it. I was then told to take another trip through MC Drive and order again. I won't go there again.

It's always been the worst McDonald's in our area - but today it took the cake... Went to McDrive and wanted to pick up our orders from the app - it's problem-free in Lüdinghausen and elsewhere in Datteln - no, today that's what it said It doesn't work... The worst food I've ever eaten at McDonalds. Very long waiting time and at 11:45 p.m. I paid 48 euros for 2 people and what did I get? 1 Chrispy Chicken completely over-baked, cold and dry taste, French Fries & Curly Fries cold and soggy, 1 Royal Double Cheese cold and 20 Chicken Mc Nuggets cold and not crispy. The only thing that was great was 2 Coca Cola and 2 apple turnovers that were freshly made. This McDonald's is not recommended.

May 24, 2024 My wife just ordered something at the drive-thru and paid for the Big Mac on the bill but didn't receive it. Unfortunately, a call to 02363/97144 was unsuccessful because the man on the other end unfortunately doesn't speak German. So how do we solve the problem!

The cheese stuck to the packaging as if the burger had been there for a long time. Cold and hard. The salad was completely juicy and soggy from the sauce. The place was really dirty. Fries were on the floor, paper and ketchup were still smeared on a table. Considering that there was hardly anything going on, it was shocking that no one was cleaning. On the contrary, employees simply walked past it, unbelievable!

Either something isn't there, the machines are broken or are being cleaned or it's cold. The store has slowed down quite a bit. When it comes to toys, you always hear “we don’t have that many anymore” or there’s something made of cardboard that no child wants. Terrible.

As always, very tasty food, even if the reputation is not that good

We used the McDrive service today and stood in line for almost half an hour. I wanted 6x Mc Flurry and in the rush (because everyone wanted a different flavor) I accidentally only ordered 5. Even before I wanted to go to the next counter to pay, I apologized and said that I had forgotten one more thing. I have rarely experienced such an incompetent, unfriendly employee at Mc. He immediately rejected my request and rudely asked me to continue driving. When I asked what the problem was about ordering another one or canceling it, he got louder and yelled at me to drive out and get back in line. Because of one more McFlurry? If it wasn't for my little niece in the car who was so excited about it, I would have canceled the entire order. The whole thing happened on Sunday, April 28th, 2024 at 7:45 p.m. Arrogant and completely miscast and incapable of doing so. One of the Flurrys was also missing the sauce.

Clearly overwhelmed team. No order was correct. The customers went towards the door cursing. Food was cold and the restaurant was very dirty. The employees didn't seem particularly impressed by their mistakes either. Sure, it's often hectic and confusing in these stores, but there didn't seem to be anyone here who could bring order. Luckily we were just passing through and won't be coming back.

Running after them several times because something was constantly forgotten, napkins weren't even given, etc. Service is really very desirable...tables aren't even wiped...sticky etc. Food wasn't that warm either...

Cold latte macchiato, cold cheeseburger, cold apple turnover... this is by far the worst McDonald's we have ever visited. If it were possible, we wouldn't give any stars at all, because even 1 is far too much...

There were cars in front of us in the drive-in queue that apparently still had to wait for their goods. That's why they drove up a little so that the cars behind (e.g. us) could get their food at the counter. So far so familiar and normal. However, when we got our food, we couldn't continue and waited several minutes. Because: it was very irritating to realize that the cars waiting in front of us were blocking the way. There is no stopping bay in this drive-in. What poor logistics and conception.

As every Dattelner knows, in Mc Drive you have to drive a little ahead or pull over on the shoulder to receive your order. Today I wanted to order a cheeseburger to satisfy my hunger and when I ordered, the skilled worker's tone condemned me for only ordering a single cheeseburger! When I arrived at the second counter I paid and a customer stood in front of me waiting for his order. I honked and asked to pull over to the right shoulder so I could pass. The customer didn't want to make room for me. The employee brought him his order and I told her beforehand that this wasn't a good solution for customers because my food was getting cold because I couldn't drive out to park and then eat. She replied that it was my own fault if I only ordered a cheeseburger. That was my last visit to this juice shop!!!!

Haven't been to a McDonalds in years. But on the way back from an evening event there were hardly any alternatives. So we went and ordered from the machine. This went smoothly and quickly. After a few minutes the “food” was brought to the sticky table. Warm, sticky and barely resembling the images on the screens above the counter. And unfortunately it wasn't cheap either This evening reminded me why we hadn't been there for so long.

Food cold...tables dirty...that was the last time Mäces. Then rather doner kebab.
